LTC alone has 15TH equivalent of hashing power and $50M worth of USD resources, that once belonged to BTC. Not to mention the plethora of other alt coins, combined takes about 30% resource away from BTC, and it is increasing each day. BTC will eventually fade into "one of the many" cryptocoins, competing for resources in a "cryptocoin market". There will soon be a wallet that supports multiple cryptocoin, and transactions will be automatically optimized depending on market exchange rate.

Why CNC, though? Chinese National Coin? The OP seems to have fled. The coin doesn't look too promising. I guess everybody is stocking up in case it becomes popular in China  On Chinese forums all I see is bashing the coin, the Chinese forums are calling it "junk coin" and giving China a bad name for the first Chinese coin. |

The payouts on Bobs pool are weird indeed
I've been mining with 160kHs for 2 hours and I got ~180 CNCs in the first hour and almost nothing (2x 0.44 CNC) in the second hour.
Now with the higher difficulty I'm trying my luck with solo mining again.

Like I said, bob's pool is only paying out to 10 addresses, and completely ignores the rest. I mined there for hours with 0 payout. I don't know why he isn't fixing it and paying out what is owed.

The blockchain size would be interesting in a couple of days; never mind a year or two.
If you ask me people saw the huge success (relatively speaking) of FeatherCoins and the the Chinese; being so good in overtaking any industry just went ahead and created CHNCoin.

When it comes to the p2pool.chnco.in i see its paying out on my end now. Alot of transactions..
Remember its experimental, p2pool might not be fully working. But the main problem is orphans. So even if we find a block we might not get paid for it.

Not going to happen. Shit has been orphaning since the beginning, it's no ones fault. I solved 5 blocks solo that vanished. I'm not talking about orphans, the pool is simply not paying out anything, it was paying me nearly 10 CNC per minute for half hour or so, then it stopped while I see the pool is getting blocks. Yes. I know. Every single person is in the same boat. You can always solo mine. I can't solo mine, I'm mining at work, all cryptocoin client would not work with the company firewall. I can only mine at a pool. |

There are about 100 billion XRPs, so XRP market cap is about 500 million USD.
I suppose it's too much for such young currency.
No there's infinite amount of XRP, since it is centrally controlled and can be arbitrarily increased. |
