I'm solo mining via pushpoold... getting decent returns (I'd think...if this is anything like mincoin... about 93 BTB over the past 30-45min...I have about 20,000 KH on it)...
Did you really don't realize how is it funny? You claimed no premine while mining at 20mhps I think that you must destroy your coins, like I did. Otherwise it will be a pure scam, more scammy than MMMCoin with 10 trillion premined. I have only one 7950 @ 600khps, for example. Compare it with your 20mhps. Did you really think that public mining @ 600khps is a premine? Then compare this with 20mhps %) Feathercoin, Bitbar, Mincoin, Smallchange and Chinacoin. ALL Premined! And by that I mean that the 'public release' was timed with MASSIVE mining efforts and DDOS strikes against early pools, all to benefit the developers/contractors behind the coin and scam miners out of $$. Fucking pathetic, and I hope every single altcoin goes down in flames. Even IF pools are DDoS, people can just solo mine it, and they did. It took me all of 60 seconds today from seeing the bitbar announce post to start solo mining. When I started solo mining bitbar, the client was on block 19. I don't buy the pre-mine accusation. Dumbest argument ever. 'It's not premine, it's totally public. Well, of course the fact that 10 people are mining with an average of 50 x the average high end mining rig power during insanely easy block solve.. eh...' That's how every coin gets started, Bitcoin included, it starts with 10 or so people, then grows. Bitcoin was mined for a long time by 10 or so people, before it had more. Though I can say with certainty that bitbar had more than 10 people mining it after just 10 minutes or so.

Eagerly awaits your pool I will point my meager 1.5MH to it

I don't get how other altcoins are priced higher than ppc, even FTC released a few days ago is worth more than PPC.
Because there's a tons of PPC out there, the new coins are relatively scarce. The price on new coins should drop in a few months, if not weeks.

Right, I'm sure 0.00000001 BTB as block reward and 0.00000000 BTB as transaction fees will cover mining costs. Does the reward decrease to zero? Can anyone graph the reward per block? reward is like NVC. it will rise again, if difficulty drops. reward is function of difficulty, not time. according to balthazar: reward = 100 / (diff ^ 1/6) for novacoin , so here in BTB it should be: reward = 1 / (diff ^ 1/6) . So BTB should roughly be valued at 100x of NVC? which makes the fair value 3 BTC per 1 BTB? In a perfect scenario, I guess so. But there are way too many variables to make such an extrapolation. If anything, BTB should be valued more, since this is a no pre-mine version of NVC.

The reward per block seems to be dropping really fast, so difficulty is really irrelevant on this coin it seems. The reward is now less than half of what it was 2 hour ago.
yup it destroys its own market. since the reward drops so fast its not worth the mining effort. As a result you are left with a small pool of miners from the start. Even if you have a few miners that have bitbars and are willing to trade them who would want them. I think the intent of the currency was to try to make them very rare. Bit-bar like a bar of gold or bar of bitcoins. The hope was that the price would rocket up beyond a bitcoin and the early miners could sell at very high prices. But since it has a high entry cost to mine and very low value to start it is costly to mine, little to no profit it in. Especial when you know that there are a large number of early miners holding a lion's share. Now if it was very difficult to mine from the start for everyone equally then it would have much more value. Oh well. live and learn. I agree, to make a coin truly rare, it needs to avoid the 1 second per block scenario at all cost.

Bitbar blocks are currently 0.3 and DEcreasing, not like 88 for CHN or 200 for FTC. You probably need to divide by 1000.
But at 1 second per block, it's producing more coins than for example if you are mining Bitcoin. I think the time it takes to mine 0.01 bitcoin, you will definitely have more than 5 bitbar

this coin looks like it may have some things that will set it apart and the authors gave it a bit of thought. I was waiting for something like NovaCoin that wasn't premined... unfortunately: * so many crapcoins have been released lately it may get lost in the noise * smaller numbers aren't as sexy as the large ones...(although mincoin has made it to some extent...hopefully this turns into something)
Is there any guide for setting up pushpoold on windows?

I'm offering 1 LTC for 100 Bitbar, or any amount at such conversion rate. Minimum 1 Bitbar.

Is it possible to lower the share difficulty? it'll help with the reject rate.

What's the fee % if there is any?
