What is the dev waiting for with the fork ? This coin needs a CPU only algo ASAP! If you cant implement RIC or XPM algos create a brand new one - if a GPU miner is released we can fork again and again. I'd love to see the bock reward halved, lets make this coin scarce! I'd also like to see block time increased to 1 min (30 secs blocks = too many orhpans) and one algo removed (why have 3 different GPU algos?!).
MaxCoin has done the same and the community loves it - 300% price increase since the announcement!
Lets get other developers working on this coin, the original dev - i am not a fan of.
EDIT : If the community is against reward halving, perhaps we can implement Heavycoin voting mechanism so miners can chose the block reward themselves. We really should pick up all innovative enhancements of other coins

UPDATE2: The build still fails with a missing atomic include, despite the GMP upgrade. All the best! one4many You are probably on CentOS, update GCC to version 4.7 via devtools

+ 550,000 premined (if not more, depends on first 550 block reward)

So.... we mine this with!?
We dont. Scamcoin

no source code = scam !!!
Yep, running in a vm : 21:54:13 { "blocks" : 551, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 5.48961300, "errors" : "", "generate" : true, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 32543, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false } 551 block Retarded dev mined for one whole day

Dev is a moron nonetheless
|
|

seems fishy
also no pool and source
And no linux wallet

Speak for yourself, most of my shares are accepted.
I am talking about 70 servers at 3 different providers, two in EU and one in the US.

Most probably a trojan... Watch out.

Since ypool has most of the hashing power and this is not good i want to mine in other pool.
But is there any other stable pool? Which? And how much less income do you expect to have in other pool?
income depends on the fee of the pool why would you expect less income? http://ric.upcpu.com/ already has 4 blocks Too many invalid shares on upcpu (almost 400ms latency from Europe), we need an EU server! Willing to donate, upcpu owner contact me via pm EDIT : 35% of shares submitted are invalid due to latency! Current server is hosted in China, we need both US and EU servers ASAP! EDIT 2: Pool is unusable for anyone outside of China, latency fluctuates up to 5000ms and invalid shares are over 70% NOT true. Shares are accepted fine worldwide. Gave upcpu another try , invalid shares all over : Server1 [00:09:52] 2ch/s: 12.4679 3ch/s: 0.4705 4ch/s: 0.0069 Shares total: 1 / 0 Server2 [00:10:00] 2ch/s: 12.1173 3ch/s: 0.4574 4ch/s: 0.0137 Shares total: 2 / 1 Server3 [00:10:08] 2ch/s: 11.8434 3ch/s: 0.4783 4ch/s: 0.0067 Shares total: 1 / 0 Server4 [00:10:32] 2ch/s: 12.4176 3ch/s: 0.4666 4ch/s: 0.0065 Shares total: 1 / 0 Server5 [00:10:33] 2ch/s: 12.4692 3ch/s: 0.5500 4ch/s: 0.0065 Shares total: 1 / 0 Server6 [00:10:48] 2ch/s: 11.8771 3ch/s: 0.4867 4ch/s: 0.0063 Shares total: 1 / 0 Server7 [00:10:40] 2ch/s: 12.7424 3ch/s: 0.4160 4ch/s: 0.0192 Shares total: 3 / 1 Server8 [00:10:48] 2ch/s: 11.7570 3ch/s: 0.4425 4ch/s: 0.0126 Shares total: 2 / 1 Server9 [00:10:56] 2ch/s: 12.1943 3ch/s: 0.4433 4ch/s: 0.0062 Shares total: 1 / 0 ... 70 servers , 50%-100% invalid shares, not a single server has all shares accepted.

I've already offered this advice to the dev and the community couple of weeks ago :
* Replace one algo with a cpu-only algo * Lower the block reward down to 500 or less * Lower the total number of coins to be produced.
This needs to be done ASAP!! (MaxCoin is doing it in a couple of days, we should beat them to it!)

Does this coin offer resistance against crypt-asic miners?
Yes, borg-like resistance.

Any plans to replace one of the algos with a cpu only algo ?

This coin is going 10x in value in the next 15 to 30 days. Buy now and hold!

I don't believe for a second that jh00 is up to no good, at least regarding users of his pool. Using fake company info is however certainly on shakey legal ground.
Just to clarify this, the info is not fake. Or at least not on purpose. All data is correct except the company name. When we registered the domain we tried to think ahead and it turned out that "ypool gmbh" is not the company name/form that we settled for. It will be corrected of course. The problem is that Miki (primer-) doesn't even want to hear our explanation. He just came here to make us look bad. I have no idea what I did wrong to make him this angry. I was doing due diligence on you and Ypool GmbH. No hard feelings here. I've just had it with "fly-by-night" companies. I'm not looking for answers, community is. You run a business, where is this business registered, under whose jurisdiction ? What was your annual turnover last year (public information under Austrian law) and how much did you pay in taxes (Public information under Austrian law) ? Why the secrecy ?

This is just a heads-up for all ypool miners! Watch out!
Hi, Miroslav Petrovic - I trust you have applied the same due diligence to maintaining your own domain registration information in an up-to-date fashion. :-) http://www.ip-adress.com/whois/smscentar.comI don't believe for a second that jh00 is up to no good, at least regarding users of his pool. Using fake company info is however certainly on shakey legal ground. dga, I don't believe it's right for you to be publishing personal information about private citizens. I would expect someone of your academic standing would think about the consequences of such actions. It's not personal - it's a business domain registration, with voluntarily-included information that any registrant knows is publicly available. I dont see how my personal or business information is of anyones concern here - I dont do any business with fellow miners nor have i scammed anyone here. You are mad because of the dev fee removal i posted earlier ? An associate professor at Computer Science Department Carnegie Mellon University, yet you do not know how to strip a binary ? You are a joke my "friend".
