1701  Other / Meta / Re: ،how I can upload a photo here , I use a mobile on: July 12, 2023, 05:06:17 AM
OP I don't think you can upload any images on the forum at state of your rank, I know that you have to rank up to a certain level before you could be able to use images on your post except you have to pay to be able to do that, but is that even possible? I really have no idea of paying before you could upload pictures/images. When I was a newbie up to member I couldn't upload images so I'd say you have to wait till you get to the appointed rank to do that.
1702  Other / Meta / Re: Cloudflare - Not a robot (maybe...) on Show All on: July 12, 2023, 04:48:12 AM
Is that on Tor? I just tried, and it's stuck on "Verifying" without any progress.

I experienced that too, tired verifying and it got stuck several times, it happened almost all the times I wanted to login got me frustrated to the extent that I avoided coming online for almost day, thinking that if I give it some hours off that it would come back to normal which didn't happen, but as for now I'm delighted that nothing of such is displaying on my screen when login in and I can now access the Forum without experiencing it (Cloudflare) again.
But seriously, are we going to be having different encounter such as this every month? Last 2 months (if I'm not mistaken) was Gateway issue and now we're having Cloudflare on the mix, what's next?

Tottenham Hotspur are really using money to play with Harry Kane's thinking, I mean how can a player such as Kane only brag about with just best player of the season and highest goal scorer award as a trophy? He's not getting any younger and we the fans (football lovers) are worried but it seems he prefers to be the highest paid in the EPL than going else where to get himself a trophy, at least to get hold of one major trophy other than those personal achievement. I just feel the owner of Tottenham Hotspur won't want to let him leave and the only way to keep him (HARRY KANE) is to increase his wages (£500 plus) and it will affect his release clause. IMO, Spurs are not doing him any good they're just being selfish.

Manchester United have taken a bold step in letting one of the best Goalkeeper EPL has ever had to go and a replacement is on the way, the Inter Milan goalkeeper Onana. Is Manchester United desperate in having a replacement or is Onana the desperate one? The whole thing is some how complicated. To me Onana shouldn't just give in just like that if Manchester United are looking for a replacement and come to think of it, De Gea is even better than Onana, although the Inter Milan goalkeeper is still young and he has so many years ahead to prove himself that's if Man UTD get Onana.
I feel Onana is not going to do half of what De Gea did while he was at Man UTD, the united team lack defenders so is not going to be possible for Onana to do better at Old Trafford (that's if the get his signature).
1705  Other / Meta / Re: I got my post deleted immediately, how is that possible? on: July 11, 2023, 12:07:04 PM
These can only be that your post wasn't arranged in a proper way, just like when you quote someone, the moderator can just decide to delete the message because it wasn't arranged in an orderly manner. Speaking of how fast your post can be deleted, you can be the only one that can delete your post that fast, from what I know moderators take time (like days or sometimes weeks, like what happened to my last deleted post) to get to post that needs to be deleted.

I don't know if I'm the only one who's frustrated about this cloudflare, since it started I haven't been able to login without being asked if I'm a robot or not, even when I try making a post it just drag me back to verify if I'm a robot. Can someone explain to it that I'm not a robot😂. Is disturbing for that page to always pop up.
Jokes apart, is not really helping users and if there's a way to end it or make it happen twice after every login it will be manageable but happening anytime it wants is not cool. Just wish these whole saga would end soon.

Napoli are not even sure if they can keep V. Osimhen, with other clubs showing interest I feel he might change his mind because he can make a move to any EPL club and become a key man, even achieve more than he has at Napoli. Even if they increase his salary I still think a bigger offer might turn the table around, with the likes of PSG who are about to lose Mbappe, they might double Osimhen's wages and it would be tempting for Napoli which might even make them say yes to PSG, but I prefer he make a move to any EPL club like Chelsea since he has always loved playing for the Blues.
1708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Robert F Kennedy Jr a Bitcoin Holder on: July 09, 2023, 09:57:17 AM
I don't see the reason these guys would deny in public any affiliation with Bitcoin as if it were some disease but hold it in secret, I guess they are just deceiving themselves. In May, he denied having any investments but guess what now? This little act tells a lot about his character and if he can be like a switch at this stage, what might happen if he becomes President. The way I see it, he's like every other politician who will take every opportunity to win the heart of the public and if Bitcoin's the way, he'd use it. Won't be surprised if I get to hear later on that he is strongly against it. After all, Gary Gensler was pro Bitcoin before he suddenly jumped ship.
1709  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you prefer to own a luxury watch or invest in bitcoin or other assets? on: July 09, 2023, 09:30:42 AM
With Bitcoin, I can purchase a little amount and overtime, watch it grow, right? Bit I can't say the same for those luxury watches and you said it yourself that the world is constantly evolving and interests are always moving on to other things. There's the possibility that I could purchase such with the hopes of selling it off but not having the means to maintain it and it can end up being a liability to me. So, I will prefer to invest in Bitcoin anyday.

People can be never tire of being on top of what's trending and since such traffic can be monetized, most businesses take advantage of this and can do anything to keep up appearances. Who knows, Elon and Mark are just two buddies who obviously know that there's no need for a competition since they both know who's the boss but just to create fodder for the gossip blogs and in turn raking in the cash, they continue the shenanigans.
I remember when Elon Musk challenged Putin to a melee fight and using Ukraine as the price. Honestly he knew that wasn't going to happen but the publicity it brought him was massive.

I will not classify it as good or bad, in business anything can go as long as it takes in the cash.
1711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The difference between bitcoin and cryptocurrency. on: July 09, 2023, 05:24:36 AM
Cryptocurrency is a technology that serves as a channel to facilitate the conducting of various financial transactions and ensure that costs are low and service is efficient. whereas Bitcoin aims to simplify and hasten the speed of transactions without government interference or restrictions.
Bitcoin is just one out of so many cryptocurrencies out there but with it's high market cap, it's regarded as the best digital coin.
1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: July 09, 2023, 03:11:23 AM
For you to be successful in what ever you do you have to devote your time in it and on this topic I feel you have to be deeply involved in gambling to be successful but not everyone who gambles do get too involved, like going crazy about it.
Some people can be gambling but they don't take it to heart like they don't put much effort, they just see it as something they do for fun and they gain so much more than those who take it very seriously. So I'd say not all successful gamblers are addict. Have seen someone who won a very huge amount of money but hardly come by to gamble, he just used the money to establish his business rather than coming to gamble again. He's a gambler who's successful but not an addicted one.
1713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 09, 2023, 02:52:25 AM
With the way PSG are recruiting players from different leagues I think they're just looking for the right match for Mbappe as he's no longer interested in staying at the club, having him out of the picture how would PSG look like from next season? Because if you look at it, Mbappe has been the head of that PSG side like carrying them along with his goals and all that until Neymar Jr and Lionel Messi showed up to reduce the work load in front of goal. Up till this moment PSG haven't gone that far to get a champion league title even with the likes of Messi Neymar Jr on that side still no result, so I don't see why Mbappe would stay. He really needs to win that trophy (Champions league) for him self after all, his mentor CR7 won the Champions league, so why won't he too?
I can't say where he would be playing next season but I'm certain is not going to be the Madrid everybody's expecting, maybe an English team might get his signature, I'm just saying though.
1714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 09, 2023, 02:28:42 AM
I don't even know why Tottenham are interested in bringing Lukaku. There is no need for a striker in the team. There is a substitute player for Kane already like Richarlison. Lukaku wouldn't find much chance to play from Kane in the Premier League. He should join where he can have more time to play.

As I said before it would be for the benefit of Inter to look for other strikers and pay a little more money if necessary. But they are still decisive to bring him back from Chelsea. Then this is already what Lukaku wants so there shouldn't be big issues with completing this transfer for Inter.

Chelsea has a very big space for the big man Lukaku and with all these speculations going on that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in him, I don't think he'd like to play for any English club with the way he has poured out his heart for Inter Milan. It's either Inter Milan or no club or he better come back to Chelsea, but I strongly believe that the Spurs news on Lukaku is not going to pull through is only going to end up as a rumor.
I mean Tottenham having Kane (one of the best striker in the EPL) and the Belgium international Lukaku, who's going to play ahead of each other? I don't see that happening with those two playing for the same team next season. I still think it would be nice if Lukaku come back to Chelsea and work with the new manager than moving to Inter or any other club.
1715  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which one of this is important most? on: July 08, 2023, 10:09:41 PM
The both of them work hand in hand. You need the merits to increase in ranks and at the same time, it's the reputation that gives more merits. Imagine offering your services here for instance and you haven't built a reputation here, you might not be given much attention.
Sometimes newbies are more invested in getting the merits but fail to create a platform for such to happen by thinking it's just a matter of being consistent, but not making quality posts because that can also build your reputation here. The way I see it reputation and merits go together like suit and tie.

I also observed the same thing. At first I thought probably I had run out of data or something but discovered I still had enough. Then I tried checking in only to discover the issue is from the bitcointalk browser. The rate at which this is occurring is becoming disturbing and this should be like the fourth if not fifth time such a challenge is being encountered.
1717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think at some point government will change its stand and adopt Bitcoin? on: July 08, 2023, 09:36:03 PM
I think there's a possibility of the government becoming soft in the area of accepting to adopt Bitcoin because despite the fact that there are individuals who are of the impression that it's a sham, a front for crime and not safe, there's those who see it as a pathway to financial freedom and a way to maintain privacy.
With the way hardcore Bitcoin atheists are suddenly eating their words, it's no surprise that the move to change their stand would happen sooner rather than later.

Pochettino is cooking something surprising at Chelsea, first he took the workers including the players out for a nice meal and now he's going deep into business which is calling on Lukaku to come back and even come to his office to speak with him one on one, like this man Pochettino has something that other coaches never had in terms of convincing players to play there best or come back when they're not interested. I feel if Lukaku would answer to this call, is going to be a shocker next season. He (Lukaku) might be at his best next campaign but let's see if he'd come back and join the other players at the pre-season because that's where the whole show begins. Pochettino can bring the best of Lukaku to the Chelsea team and we might be seeing a new Lukaku if Pochettino's plans works out with the striker.

Eden Hazard made the wrong decision by picking Real Madrid, which ultimately wrecked his substantial football career. Although it has not been a simple period for the Belgium international, he has lost everything at the Santiago Bernabeu, including respect, confidence, dribbling abilities, and even good footing on the ball. Real Madrid terminated Hazard's contract because he had failed to be prepared for league games, Carlo Ancelotti does not even regard him as an important player for the club, while it was Zinedine Zidane who signed him, not Ancelotti. Hazard will hunt for new opportunities elsewhere; I can't fathom Hazard being regarded less than a newcomer to football.

Eden made one of the decisions in his career that seems to be the best to him but getting to his destination (Madrid) the expectations was high, but that wasn't the problem, it all happened when the injuries and lack of form came to play on Eden Hazard even on the Belgium national team he couldn't meet up to expectation so I wonder how a big Club as Madrid could still keep him after 3 seasons and expect him to bounce back.
He got there (Real Madrid) to replace the icon CR7 but he didn't even play half of what he played at Chelsea, was as if he played his all at Chelsea and now he just had to retire. But I still feels if he gets into any club like the standard of Newcastle he might get himself back on track.

With Granit Xhaka out of the picture remaining Thomas Partey on the mix, the question is, "is Arsenal really getting it right at the moment"? I don't really feel that Partey would survive this transfer window with the way things are going, I think Arsenal are ready to let him go and more enforcement would be added to the Arsenal squad. To me I don't think offloading Thomas Partey would be a good idea because his services are still needed just in case of injuries or something that might reduce the squad. And with Xhaka joining the German side I don't see it as a problem and the player have done so much for the Gunners and he'll be missed.
