901  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin October Month Performance on: October 31, 2023, 09:25:57 PM
October has a final lap to change the price from $34k to $35k+, and I don't know if it needs a motivation to let $34k go before getting into the month of November. I still have that feeling that whatsoever is holding the price from getting up to $35 will let it go before the remaining hours of October.
I must confess that this month of October is one of the best since the beginning of this year, I wish November would do better and make a movement that would surprise the crypto world. And I'm still waiting to see Bitcoin price surpass $34-35k.

At present, Chelsea and Man UTD are having the same problem in terms of owners; they are desperate to get titles and any coach that takes on the managerial role is supposed to do that with a flick of the wrist. It's not everyone who is gifted with the Midas touch like Pep or Mourinho and as such will need to be given time. In Erik's case, he manages Man UTD like he did Ajax and the two clubs can't be compared because Man UTD is a far bigger club than Ajax and the players there ought to be treated with respect. Another problem affecting the club is they aren't working as a unit and Erik has a big role to play in that.

Chelsea and Manchester United are not feeling too well this season, both in performance and coordination they're the same. But the only difference is just the position on the log, at least one is above the other. Both clubs need something big, emergency winning and getting to the top and this kind of act always put the managers under pressure, to me Pochettino isn't under pressure compared to the big boss Erik ten Hag.
The Manchester United coach is the cause of his own problem, when you can't handle players that are seen as the big boys of the club and you speak against them it causes a huge problem.
Ajax and Manchester United are not the same quite alright, Erik ten Hag should know that the system have changed completely, let him take whatever character he sees in that locker room and turn it to his own favor because you can't change the character of the players but adapt and even make them your friend, with that they'd respect you and do whatever you ask from them. If Erik ten Hag try to bring Sancho very close no matter who's at fault by now the player would have been playing without any issues.

My question: how? we don't have any proof except someone is stupid give 50 merits on a bounty post.

There are many low quality posts that receive merits (quality isn't about how long or short the post), when someone wrote at least 2-3 paragraphs even it's only have one point, people will give merit to that post because it's long.

Some people are not that stupid but they just feel like giving that huge amount of merit without thinking much about it.
I'm not a fan of much words in posting and even reading long posts, sometimes I do but what I'm trying to say is some members thinks the longer the post the more merit they could get and some don't need to type much to even get some merit.
In some cases the longer post do have informative messages but don't have any merit attached to it and the one line post do have merits flocking around it, and you'd ask just these few words? What's the secret? I do ask myself that.
Shit happens bro, and some of us need to upgrade on our post but the question is how?
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 30, 2023, 08:54:24 AM
Congratulations to Erik Ten Hag, he'll continue getting more poor results with the use of Marcus Rashford, Even Pep Guardiola drop his best players just to show them, they are drop-able if they don't perform well.

What a congratulations given to someone who has last it this season 😂, I ones said it that second season syndrome will affect him and Man UTD fans should stop the hype. I don't understand why you speak as if ETH have any other player to replace Rashford? Check the bench and tell me who's better to play ahead of him (Rashford). Manchester United don't have what Manchester City have so even compare, even if is a cripple ETH would use just to complete the squad. And you can't drop the highest paid of Manchester United (correct me if I'm wrong) on the bench, what's your plan if you do so?

Quote
Though Erling Haaland performs better with Kevin De Brunye on the pitch alongside him. He did well yesterday evening, shoulda resulted to four goals but two of those efforts saved by Andrea Onana reduced it.

He's a great player no doubt, like you said he performs much better when he plays with players who knows how to read the game and understand his moves very well like KDB. You would agree with me that KDB's absence affected his performance this season and that's not good for football. If you want to be the best amongst the best you must adapt to every style of play and try as much as you can to blend in with different types of players and playing pattern. I congratulate him yesterday for how he enjoyed him self before and after the game, wish he had gotten a third goal.

Quote
How can someone say he is a small game player?
I read that shit and burst out laughing. They know nothing bout soccer.

Hope you know that if Haaland isn't with a player who knows how to read the game like KDB does that his performance would be bad I mean very bad. Haaland played very well against Manchester United yesterday and did well doesn't mean what you think is laughable isn't true.
In the champions league final what contribution did he make? Did he even hit the ball more than Walker who's a defender? Ok let's not go far, before going to the international break how was his performance, was it impressive to you or laughable?
Watch the game of football without sentiment or because you love a player. If your beloved player isn't doing well say it and stop making the whole thing look like he's the best. Take it to the bank, Haaland isn't a big game player, just go and watch Drogba when playing against big clubs then come let's continue.

Quote
How many chances have been created by Scott Mc Tominay? Manchester United have a very good attacking midfielder, you see those so called attackers are flops ( Rashford ).

Scott is trying to prove to ETH that he has a lot in the tank to deliver, without him giving Manchester United that win when he was introduced I don't think he would have been given this opportunity of playing or even starting.
As for Rashford I think he's not too ok with his performance, is like whenever these English players pen down a new contract they just lose their form, he (Rashford) can't score goals, frustration is roaming around him and he becomes selfish. That won't help the team and is killing the courage of Hojlund. The fans wasn't happy when he was pulled out from the pitch, so everything about Rashford is just frustration and he can't give Hojlund to score when he's looking for a goal.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: October 30, 2023, 08:12:30 AM
Seriously I can't stop applauding Diego Simeone on his victory last night, with the way they keep that winning mentality I feel it will take them to a greater height and also make them one of the feared team to play against in La Liga. Atletico Madrid played a 2-1 win against a team (Alaves) that's not in a good shape, in form and even on the table. Many would expect the home team to score more goals in that encounter but I understand why is that way, maybe the team (ATM) ain't that refreshed after coming back from the champions league game, is normal but what we should consider is how consistent they have been since the beginning of this campaign.
Was expecting them to drop form at this stage but it seems like this is a new era for Atletico Madrid team to prove to those who has lost hope in them, their style of play and winning of games, that they have what it takes to compete for the title. If they continue with the way they're handling business I feel it would be very hard to stop them and they might even go above Real Madrid and Barcelona on the log.

-Well, the entire Bitcoin community is really hateworthy. And digiran is a horrible person. You refuse to admit that because you yourself are a horrible person. People are against me because they are evil and worthless. People hate my education. People hate science. People here are useless bags of meat (unlike most steak; the steak used to feed the useless meatbags here is useless though.). Please do the world a favor and go poop on yourself.

It is official, that you have some many confused things to say about people you bearly know and even with the way you hype yourself about hold a Ph.D (hold on, is like is the title pH.D that's holding you that's why you're having this confusion s in your head) you still find it hard to understand how the Forum works. The Forum has a purpose and you're against it with all you saying, no one can help you solve whatever issues you having with whosoever.
One more thing if you think people here are useless then you're included because you're here as well😊. Please why join if you think we're all useless Mr pH.D?🤔

The next best thing to posting good content here is sharing this forum with others. This has exponential effect because if people you have shared with also like the content, they will share further. This can result in mass awareness and adoption of crypto. Many here are for other purposes like interested in services. If the forum owner could encourage such members also to share the forum with friends and family, this forum can see huge growth.

Sharing the Forum with others like inviting them and telling them about Bitcoin, how to trade or investing on Bitcoin to make profit e.t.c is that how you mean?
People are still doing that and to me if I have a way of detecting thoso who have negative intentions while joining I'd just kick them out. Is good to create awareness but bad eggs are much in the Forum than good one, and with that it wouldn't speak good of anyone who's here to do crazy things that ain't connected to the growth of this Forum.
The Forum is huge and is even getting bigger every single day with people joining, I don't think there's another way of inviting people to join other than the way you inform others, make the invite, you need no permission to do that but invite those who can make this place better not by doing wrong. Becoming recognized start with that.

What would be so strange about buying merit?
It's not that looked into because it's harder to track unless you do something stupid like in this example, but that's also the reason why it's being done!

When you buy an aged account you have to deal with its history, you have to adapt your writing style, not forget that your account was speaking German or French at some point, and always with the fear that it might get connected to others the account farmer has grown. Merit buying poses no such risks, with the number of shitposts that earn merit here with stupid topics or just copy-pasting meme and tweets nobody is crazy to investigate it.
I'm pretty sure there are a dozen merit sellers most of them in local forums where it's even harder to look into.

Seriously to be honest with you on this issue (merit buying) I think it should be looked into, because is part of what goes against the Forum rules and regulations if I'm not mistaken, just like the way they take the cases of scam and account farmers, because if these act is allowed to go freely on the Forum to be a normal day to day activities it might rubbish the merit system.
To me I think it should be the way the merit system is other than buying merit, if out of 85% of the members are buying merit and nobody is talking about it, do you think the Forum would be the way it is now? No, it will be messy.
Fine, buying of merit poses no risk like you said but to me I think is not cool and is very harmful to the merit system and to the Forum.
I don't think some low quality posts do have merit unless the merit are being given by this same account farmers to boost the account rank to be sold out.

Honestly I didn't expect Chelsea to lose points to Brentford yesterday. Even after seeing how they played in the first half I thought they would definitely win. They deserved it much more than Brentford but there is still a serious finishing problem at Chelsea side. Sterling and Jackson both were useless in this match.

Chelsea is full of unexpected surprises even at home they can choose to lose and is like they don't care what happens any more, no effort of staying consistent in the game. Is like all the winnings they had is by luck, because I hardly see any reason to say this is why they won and they'll win the next game, Chelsea FC just lack a creative player to help the team.
And the player who would have given them that creativity is Joao Felix, he had all what Chelsea players are lacking and they couldn't keep him, now and I can't see any better player who can turn things around for the Blues.
For Sterling and Jackson, I won't say they were useless, they didn't have anything to offer in that game other than running around like headless chickens. It mustn't be that they (Chelsea players) must run with the ball into the net, what happened to taking a shot from outside the box? That alone contributed to their failure to getting a goal right from the first half. Chances was wasted. So I can't blame just Sterling and Jackson but the entire team.

Quote
After conceding the first goal it was very quick of them to lose their concentration on the match. It wasn't difficult to score the 2nd one for Brentford after that. I hope Nkunku returns as soon as possible because Chelsea just can't go on like this being too inconsistent about scoring.

They weren't coordinated right from the beginning of the second half, they thought it was going to be business as usual and they can capitalize on that game but things went South for the home team, only if they had gotten a first half goal that would have given the Blues a high momentum but they threw away better chances.
And I won't bank on Nkunku as their greatest hope, he can come and find it hard to pick up from where he left his good playing days.
If Nkunku returns things might still be very hard for the Blues, to me there are some players that ain't suppose to be their in that team, loan some and sell some. Creating chance for others to play, the wingers are just too much and they're not playing anything. Well let's see if the return of Nkunku well make a difference.

With what I'm seeing is like my eyes are getting cold every second, I thought it wasn't possible to buy merit but you have to earn it by your hard work.
I don't think this should be encouraged for members to look into the other way of buying merit, I think if this continues nobody would do something to earn merit in the Forum again other than buying it from God knows where.
This account in question might be one of those accounts from account farmers, and I don't know how they do it, growing it and still have to sell it with lots of merit. Before you know it such account will demand for loan to even scam someone.
If buying an account is possible, why it's not possible to buy merit? but I don't think buying merit is still a thing when abusing merit is more possible and currently not result in negative feedback.

You need to read the top two replies, they were give good answers.

Buying of account is common per say but this merit buying is something I still can't believe is happening and is like nobody cares about that move instead the account buying is more looked into than the merit buying. If buying of merit can be detected I think whosoever is found guilty of that act should be penalized (talking about merit buying). To me merit earning is what shows how dedicated, serious and hard working you are to yourself and the Forum.

The account has 4 negative feedbacks, if someone get scammed by a negative feedback account it means they're stupid.

You have no idea how ignorant people can be, things you feel can't happen to you can happen to others without those scammers saying much about it. They can just say the negative feedback they had is because of a little misunderstanding, they can cook up one lame story and someone can still fall for it. I only feel for those who have no idea of what's going on concerning this account.

I have not earned any titles yet, but I don't consider myself a bad poster here. Although not all my posts are of the highest quality, I am always real with every comment I leave. Again, it's a matter of time to determine how consistent one is in terms of quality posts and not just posting to earn some SATs.

You don't need to earn any title before you see yourself in that category (from the way you're saying it), all you need to do is keep your head up high, continue letting yourself know that you have a lot to do while you're doing your thing on the Forum.
I don't think you should talk about your post not in any way of high quality, I believe members here are the ones who can tell if you're doing well or not (which to me you are), for me I'd say do your thing and let your work speak for you.
If you're real with your words? Does speaking ill about people's errors included 😁?
And we shouldn't always talk much about earning, is there already and is like is bad to post and earn some Sats like you said. To me posting and correcting some errors by other members should be considered other than making those in any campaign feel like they're in the Forum only to earn.

OP you're really consumed with anger and hate for either the entire Bitcointalk community or a particular member and with that happening I don't think you can really express how you feeling because you need to focus on what you don't like that's going on here. If you ignore everybody on this Forum like you're just alone can you find this place fun to stay?
Well I feel you have issues with digaran and with the way you're going about it, I can't see you resolving this issue rather you're creating more smoke, if everyone one seems to be against what ever you're protesting for then it's on you, there's a way you place your complain and members will see reason to it. I just wish those that have issues should also come out and defend themselves to the end.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 29, 2023, 03:59:07 AM
Aston Villa are just representing the premier league very well with a 1-4 win against AZ Alkmaar in the conference league, Emery is doing a very good job by improving the squad compared to last season.
Today's encounter shouldn't be a problem for Aston Villa as they go head to head with Luton who has been pretty poor in terms of performance and they haven't lived up to expectation, we all know they (Luton) came in to the EPL expecting to do better and prove to other EPL teams that they're here to make a statement but the reverse is the case, 9 games 1 win 2 draws and 6 loss, with that I can't see them getting far this season.
Aston Villa are not in any form of losing this game that if they win it will move them above Manchester City and Liverpool, (that's if both teams loses their game). To me is going to be a smooth ride for Emery's Aston Villa, 3pt secured and lots of goals.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 28, 2023, 07:21:11 AM
This should be a fairly easy match for Arsenal to be able to get full points and try to get closer to the current top of the standings, facing a promoted club in the Premier League is certainly not a big problem for Arsenal who have appeared impressive so far but yes because Arsenal's chances of winning are greater here he only has odds @ 1.11 but it doesn't matter as long as can see favorite team continuing to win in the Premier League and Arsenal's chances of winning this season are getting closer.

I think Sheff Utd will experience a lot of difficulties when facing Arsenal today because Arsenal is a tough club in the EPL, it is not easy for Sheff Utd to score goals against Arsenal and
I predict today's match 2:0 for Arsenal to win.

They can drop the odd of Arsenal to 1.01odd and the game will still end 1-0 or 2-0 in favor of Arsenal like you said, but the main issue about the Gunners is scoring more goals when they get to meet weaker teams in the EPL. A team like Newcastle United will make sure they score more than 3 goals but the Arteta men are always comfortable when they get a total of 2 goals, they just go and relax till the rest of the game.
Tottenham can be of same point with the Gunners but they can be using goals to top Arsenal and I don't know why they're not bothered about scoring more goals.
To me Arteta isn't looking much in those areas, goal scoring and the goalkeeper department, for Arsenal to be more feared by other smaller clubs they need to put on more effort in front of goal.
918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 28, 2023, 03:45:25 AM
After battling it out with Chelsea in a 2-2 draw Arsenal are going to host a Sheffield UTD side who are yet to register a win since promoted to the EPL. Arsenal had a wonderful game against Seville and with that, they can go into today's game hoping to get a all 3pt to close the gap between them and Spurs.
Arteta on the other hand has been making Raya the number 1 goalkeeper ahead of Ramsdale and is really disturbing because Raya is now known for making crazy mistakes which would some day caused Arsenal something serious.
I still don't know why some managers can't take actions when they see players doing poorly, to me if Arteta wants to keep a clean sheet he should bench Raya. I don't know if the goalkeeper is under pressure that's why he's making mistakes, hope to see the Gunners get a win and a clean sheet (that's if Raya isn't selected).
919  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has anybody expected this? on: October 28, 2023, 03:27:20 AM
Not that I'm a charting expert or a good technical or fundamental analyst let alone a bear, but I'm really surprised at the spike that's happened, and which is probably continuously happening as of this writing. So far, the price has already hit above $34,000. That's already more than 12% in growth in just 24 hours.

I don't think since the start of this surprising rise of Bitcoin price that it has gotten above $34k, that has been the stopping point of the price and with all of these happening I feel we're about to see something more surprising because this current price of Bitcoin is giving us the assurance that it will surpass $34k to $35k and even get to $40k before this month runs out.
Nobody can come out to say it was expected not even those bloggers who drop predictions, they're not going to say the positive movement of Bitcoin price was something they're expecting to happen, no way.

Join the BTC discussion and let us know where you think it's headed! Will it skyrocket past 35K 🚀 or experience a dip 📉? Your insights matter, so cast your vote and share your crypto wisdom with the community! 📊

This is something I have been worried about on Bitcoin price, still finding it hard to surpass $33k or $34k and when it's getting to $34,985 just a little more further it will drop back to $33k and is like the price is waiting for the right time to hit $35k. I can't say it will hit $35k today or tomorrow but I'm sure when it hits $35k it will have another boost without coming down to $33k or $34k.
The market is very promising and we shouldn't panic, we should also staying positive and expect the price to move to $40k before the first week of November.
