1721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: October 11, 2022, 01:46:08 AM
Yeah right, it's their opinion that we should respect. After all, we do have differences when basing our opinions and
getting the context we can accept that upset is really happening.

But do those Butler fans respect also those people saying that their boxer won't chance a stand against Inoue?

We should not include the word respect here and let those trash talks just come in until Butler fans accept the reality.

Believe me, those Butler fans can't even put money betting on their idol even if the odds are x12. Smiley If they are really that dedicated to supporting Butler, they can place a bet even at $1 to show their support. Smiley

now, i am wondering if the OP can create a poll on this thread and let us see who are rooting for butler or inoue? of course, there will always be butler fans. i don't think a certain match will always be all out to the favourite. consider the countrymen of the boxer and you will know that there will always be supporting the underdog. now, it depends on who will place their bet. after all, it is our own prerogative if we will disclose it to the public.
You're right, even Butler is the underdog it doesnt mean fans are all out to Inoue.

Certainly there are people rooting for Butler to win despite of the talks that he stand no chance. I admire his guts to face the monster and though I also believe that Inoue will win, I hope Butler will give us a good fight and not let himself dominated and become a punching bag of a monster.
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: October 11, 2022, 01:21:08 AM
The difference is that when you hold bitcoin today, you are sure that years to come, you will wake and still meet your bitcoin in whatever value it might be. But this cannot be said about casino tokens which may not be here by tomorrow. That is the great difference between holding BFG and holding bitcoin.

Correct, but Bitcoin doesn't pay you interest unless if you use a 3rd party and then you rely on that 3rd party, and still the interest won't be high - and here tokens like BFG pay you over 50% annually (as of now) which is quite massive.

Over time it's hard to tell, but if you pull out on time you can make nice gains.

With Bitcoin no one knows if 5-10 years from now it would be worth $20k or $100k, you can bet on it but there are no guarantees it would happen. Look at Litecoin, used to be $250 and more and now it's 5 times less than that.

It is as they say, I bought the BFG tokens because they produce many benefits for me, but I also have something in mind, if Bitcoin is not sold and we have it, it is not something that can generate other cryptocurrencies, but what Bitcoin generates is something much more ambitious , it is more money, because the more time bitcoin passes, the more it will be valued, for me this is something that will not change and will have more impact, that is why the Hodl is so much touted, for me the BFG is a token that has a lot future, but I don't know how its performance will be in the long term, I don't know if it will die or stay, for me it is uncertain, which cannot be compared with bitcoin that everything will be better for those who have it.

compare bitcoin and gambling token it can not. because they have very different functions.
bitcoin is no doubt almost some investors in various countries believe bitcoin as a promising long-term asset. but we can't compare it with BFG tokens or other gambling tokens.
we don't know what will happen to the BFG gambling token but if the BFG gambling company continues to develop its project maybe in the future the token will also have a valuable value in the gambling token.
Bitcoin is an established coin and already proven its worth. Even the market is in bearish it doesnt plunged drastically unlike other coins. Casino tokens are different and has their own uses particularly in its casino's ecosystem. There's a benefit holding a casino token if you're a gambler (like the staking opportunity of BFG), thus it's not a bad decision if you think or believe that it's worthy also to invest in casino tokens. We are still in bearish season and the coins are declining, we have a choice now on what we think is the best choice that can likely bring profit to us in the future.
1723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Money but from where on: October 10, 2022, 04:02:56 AM
Dear community plz suggest ferious and valuable source from their I can generate money, part time or full time yours thoughts share it ..
one way for you to get money for free in crypto currency, of course, is that you have to follow the Airdrop,
because there are so many airdrops that are shared in the crypto currency world, try looking for them on telegram,
because there are also many telegram channels that share airdrop links and you can register for free.
I think Airdrop will be the best to earn absolutely free income. Airdrop doesn't require much work, it's very easy to do and anyone can do it. To do Airdrop, first you need to have some idea how to work. After that you can do it.  You can work already.
But there's no guarantee to earn from airdrops because most of them are just scam hence it's not a reliable way to gain. Nowadays if you like to earn in crypto, skills and effort are necessary.

In trading you need capital to start your journey and it might take time to do it well since you have to gain experience to execute an effective strategy. I suggest to find a real job where you can earn a stable income, then try looking for opportunities in crypto.
1724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why 95% online Gambling websites are Scam? on: October 10, 2022, 02:06:14 AM

First of all, don't treat gambling as a way to earn money. Just because you didn't get what you want, you will call a gambling platform a scam. It may be hard to accept but it was your greediness that make you lose 3 ether. Gambling casinos have what we call house edge where they always have the advantage over their player.
Self-made mistakes and looking for justification by blaming the platform. That's something I always hear when gamblers have lost their minds due to their own actions. They are greedy to cause that to happen. They want to get money quickly by gambling is a big mistake. Moreover, they can't manage their finances just because of a lust they can't resist, that's what makes them lose large amounts of money. Greed will destroy, it applies not only in the scope of gambling, but in any case. It's actually quite easy to set it all up, we only need to stop when we get the profit we have targeted, and stop when we lose the amount of money we devote to playing and having fun.

Sadly people like OP don't know that.  They intend to gamble all their way and lose everything then blame the platform of not making them win  Grin.   This is also one of the reasons why someone who wanted to engage in gambling must know what gambling is so that they won't embarass themselves when they utter non-sense things and blame casino for cheating them LOL.  And those who are not confident with their self-control should avoid gambling because they will lose it once they engaged and got hooked on gambling.
Exactly. That's why it is important to know what you are getting into specially gambling is a risky way if your goal is to make your money grow. As I have said earlier, when you gamble it's your own will and no one force you, hence regardless of the result, you must accept it. If you dont want to face losses or cant bear that to happen, then dont gamble your money and find other ways to earn. Casino is a business, some indeed win but majority are losing their money.

Government pressurized casino companies to use KYC because the security. Many gamblers use different information in the process of registering  KYC. There are sometimes  the information used in the site is different from the DOCUMENTS provided for the prove of ownership. That is where the problem is always escalating.
Government regulations have pressured every casino to add an obligation to complete KYC on the terms and conditions, these regulations are based on security and money laundering prevention, but users expect the anonymity factor to be increased so that they do not agree to use KYC even though they do not commit money laundering crimes and others. But there is no other choice if using a centralized gambling platform because it is guided by government regulations.
Many are requiring level 1 KYC first but sooner or later they will surely ask for another KYC which requires the supporting documents and that is because of the regulations which is already beyond the control of any gambling site. If you are still not ok with the KYC, better to use other platform for now but don’t stay your money on any site because they can implement KYC even without informing you.
This is actually what happened to Roobet before, I remember they implement KYC without announcing it and the gamblers left with no choice but to comply or else they will not access their money, though it’s only a level 1 KYC but doing that without announcing is something not good. Well, it happened years ago and I don’t think it’s still an issue here. Regulations will always win, the government have its own way to regulate casinos, and KYC is one thing.
Yes the level 1 kyc implementation is so sudden. But as you can see many gamblers still comply and chose to stay, not only those who have funds on their account but the gamblers who trusted Roobet as a reliable casino. As you have pointed out the Government have ways to regulate the casinos and it's inevitable for them to continue to operate. Thus it's up to us if we will comply or will stay away.
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why 95% online Gambling websites are Scam? on: October 09, 2022, 09:14:17 AM
In 2017 I was introduced by Bitsler.com
This website took me at least 2000 dollars a that time. There was a time when I have at least 3 ETHER at the rate of dollars. And I regret that day when I lost everything. And that took my life from me. And that was the was the day I never entered this type of scams ever. And I know people will say that we become greedy. But system is designed I n such way that it took people money and everything that we had. And I know it just that hard.
When you decided to gamble your money, dont you know the consequences that you might face? It's hard to win in gambling that's why it's advisable to use only the money that you can afford to lose. I'm also a gambler and already experienced to lose my money in gambling many times but I dont blame the casino or anyone because I play on my own will. This is the problem if you have high expectation to gain because you cant really accept the worse outcome easily specially you didnt use a spare money.
1727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: October 09, 2022, 08:13:03 AM
majority of gamblers are not playing because they wanted to be entertained but instead to double their money and to find their luck.

But is this actually the reality that they face at thee end? everyone has the intention to make money but not all are making it through gambling, only few have succeeded in playing gamble and have some good return after, parents must know this that they must not let their children got exposed to gambling at early stage, playing games can be an alternative to that but there must be time designated for each to take place.
It's tempting to gamble if you are blinded by the possible profit that you can get if you're lucky. Imagine to double or triple your money in snap? It's a temptation that even adults find it hard to resist if they dont have self-control. Thus, if you are a parent and a gambler dont let your kids see what you are doing, because if they are exposed early in gambling, they might think it's right and normal since their parents are also doing it. Thus it's better to not let it show and be a responsible parent, a role model that they can look up to.
1728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: October 09, 2022, 05:43:46 AM
I have no idea how the company/school do regular background check to their staff related to gambling activity. From my perspective, gambling is something personal. It should have nothing to do with their job. Company may do something if their staff gambling activity affect their job, but the staffs do nothing wrong with their job, I think the company cant do anything unless there is a prior terms/rules related to gambling that is applied to their staffs. However I have to agree that we should care about our own reputation but if it is related to gambling, I do not care what people say about me because I am a gambler.
Yes the Company or institution should never interfere with the personal matters of anyone. But the person who personally do gambling in his life so he/she should never impact his/her addiction to anyone. Means he/she should never promote any web or any casino to members of company or institution. He/she should avoid from these kind of activities.
I agree. You'll never know the impact of gambling to other people if you influence them. If you're playing for fun and with discipline, we cant be certain that others will do the same. Thus keeping it to ourselves are much better. As long as gambling doesnt affect your personal life, work performance and the company itself, then you can gamble without minding other people's judgement. There's no need to explain if you're not a bad influence.
1729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino games plebs like us must play on: October 09, 2022, 04:23:05 AM
Am a casino pleb myself, but I disagree with your advice about playing games only with the lowest house edge. Why? Because house edge isn't everything. Some of my biggest wins were from games with high house edge.
Indeed. Biggest wins can also be found to other games that have high house edge.

Well, it's a good idea to choose a game with low house edge for your own benefit but I think before that, ask ourselves if that's the game we prefer to play or the one that can entertain us more. If you're more concern on the house edge then probably you are a kind of gambler who's afraid to lose your money (or should I say not prepared) despite knowing the risk if you gamble it. There are plenty of games that we can choose from even we our plebs, moreover it's nice to win if you least expect it because you're just playing to entertain yourself.
1730  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: October 09, 2022, 03:31:59 AM
We do really have different targets or goals.I do remember up those days where people do really need up and strive their best on getting Rollbot but due into its price then only whales could really able to afford that.

Even myself is really into that time where i do really love to purchase one considering into its perks and bonuses or benefits that you could really get on having one.

Lots had been saying that with the bonuses and benefits alone, you had already ROI'ed out. This is why lots had been really eyeing on getting one.
It's been almost a year since Rollbit launched their Rollbot NFTs and its pre-sale happened. Just like other, i'm also one of those who tried to join the pre-sale but failed. I didnt qualify then the public sale is expensive for me to buy. Those who bought the v1 rollbots are lucky compared to v2. If you're a Rollbit gambler owning a Rollbot is really beneficial.

1732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 13 years ago... on: October 07, 2022, 04:13:02 AM
How does this make you feel?
It's impressive to know how Bitcoin's price started. I have this regret on why I didnt know or bought Bitcoin on its earlier stage. But even I bought Bitcoin back then at cheaper price (2015), im still not confident to hold it for long period and was tempted to sell at low price after seeing an improvement, not knowing it can increase further. Hence I failed to hold longer. So asking me now how does it feel? I still have regrets but there's no point on dwelling in the past. Thus, if you dont want to miss the same opportunity again, dont repeat the same mistake since you're already aware of its history.
1733  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin will always remain the best choice on: October 07, 2022, 01:42:42 AM
For investment, yes offcourse BTC is best option because bif volatility but for spending in daily use I like only my own country currency for easy acceptable everywhere
One of the reason why we cant use Bitcoin as currency for daily use is, it's not widely accepted yet by small merchants, most of them are not even aware yet of its existence. But despite this Bitcoin is still way better, unlike fiat no one is running it and you have an option if you want to use it as currency or take advantage its volatility.

Bitcoin has been known to reach a new All-time-high in price after every bear market, so I'd suggest you accumulate as much coins as you can before everything goes back up again. Just my thoughts Grin
That's true. Many of us are having frustration during bearish season because of the price of crypto but if we look into its positive side, it's actually a chance for us to buy (this is only for investors who believe in Bitcoin and its future). Bear market is a time to accumulate since we'll never know when might the market turns bullish again.
1734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: October 07, 2022, 01:02:25 AM
Is it possible to invest 100$ in altcoin and turn to 7,000$? Have this ever happened to anyone on here? Is this even possible?.
It's possible. I experienced it before actually, but only with 40x of my initial investment. It's a risky move and not advisable since the coin that I invested in is a shitcoin, just pure hype. I just tried and was lucky to sell at the right time during its peaked price. If you want to have such return, it's possible to new coins who doesnt reach its ATH yet. However if you're looking for less risky investment then choose an established coins because it's already proven to be profitable as well but not with the return that you like it to be.
1735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the safest bet for 3X to 5X return? on: October 06, 2022, 07:15:24 AM
Hi everyone!

I have around 40k usd and I'm looking for a 2 years investment.

What is the safest bet in your opinion?

- Bitcoin,
- Ethereum, or
- Solana?

I'm expecting a 4x in avarage... Thank you!  Grin
I'll go for Bitcoin and ETH because these coins are already well-established. However the chances to achieve your 4x investment return is possible in Solana since the previous ath is not as expensive compared to Bitcoin and eth. But if you're looking for the safest then go for the well-established coins because they are already proven to be worthy to hold though you might need to extend your set period since it might take longer years before these coins can achieve your target price.
1736  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons you will remain broke as an adult on: October 06, 2022, 03:10:45 AM
Most time we blame our government and economy for being poor. Although they contribute largely to the masses poverty but we also need to work on ourself to make a difference out of the bad economy.
True. Some people keep on blaming the Government (particularly the leader) for their hardships because they're relying too much for the programs, benefits, pensions etc. and not doing something to help themselves. If you're born poor it doesnt mean you will live like that forever because that depends on how you drive yourself. The problem is many people used to depend on other people's kindness and dont want to stand on their own. A kind of person who like to be spoon-fed. Well, If you're lazy dont expect that you'll achieve something, if you want to change then start to strive now.
1737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If I get heart Attack that is because of BITCOIN on: October 06, 2022, 01:34:33 AM
Hi guys I think I might have heart Attack cause when I buy Bitcoin it goes to lows and when I sell Bitcoin it goes higher and today I sold my all Bitcoin earnings that were 200 dollars and than. BITCOIN starting pumping very hard and that was very very annoying to me. What should I do about this?
This is the reason why we need to manage our emotions especially when we trade/invest. Because not all the time our decision is suitable for what's going to happen since we can't really predict the next move of the market. As a trader, you should be prepared for a situation like this since it's not something new.

Many of us experienced the same of what you have been through but we can still manage and moved on and didnt let this affect us negatively. I think you're not prepared for this kind of way to earn, it seems you dont know the risk. Anyway dont forget to have yourself check because health is wealth.
1738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It An Easy Transition From Gamer To Gambler In Casino. on: October 05, 2022, 09:34:36 AM
If you're a gamer or someone is a gamer and would like to try to gamble in online casinos will it become an easy transition as all the elements of gambling are present when you're a gamer, or does a gamer have to start all over again, and have a different motivation and mindset?
It's an easy transition since you already have an idea given that both have their own similarities. I believe a gamer is like a gambler since you have this eagerness to win the game. The difference is if you're a gamer it's more on entertainment while in gambling you have this goal to win not only because you're enjoying the game but because there's a real money involved that you put at stake. Both can be addicted too thus it still depends how you control yourself.
1739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: October 05, 2022, 08:58:26 AM
I won't risk my children to delve into gambling for what I know only a few who are capable of making money in that industry because the stories or experiences from relatives and friends, most of them ended up in debt.
The biggest problem they would face is addiction and it is very hard to develop discipline and mental capacity to fight this. I wouldn't like my children getting addicted into something that can ruin their whole life with a low possibility of being successful in the long-term.
I don't think any parent wants to see their children get into gambling, spend a lot of money, or become addicted.
Even if the children play gambling for fun, the parents don't want to see it because it can damage the mentality.
Addiction is a problem that their children can have; when it happens to their children, they will find it difficult to cure.
That's why as parents, we must always supervise our children from the wrong association with their friends to grow up well.
But in op's example that is not the case. The father (Michael Jordan) failed to discipline his son and let him gamble and spent huge money in gambling. Yes they're well off people and can do what they want. The father also gamble but he's already matured to know what's right or wrong, thus his child's action just shows what kind of father he is. Parents are supposed to be the ones to teach and guide their children because it's our responsibility. It's really true that our style of parenting affects our kid's behavior.
1740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bear Market More Important Than the Bull Market? on: October 05, 2022, 12:55:33 AM
Bear and Bull market are both important. Bear is the time to accumulate and bull market is the time to sell and profit from what you invested. It's part of the cycle and investors who used to seeing these seasons are aware on how to take advantage it for their own gains. But if we're going to compare on what investors prefer between the two then it's probably the bull since everyone is active in trading and has their own strategy to maximize their profit.

For newbies, engaging themselves in crypto during bearish season is a good choice since it's the time to fill their bags. They just need to educate themselves on how crypto work, what to expect if they invest and the risk associated with it.
