761  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using ToS against users normal? on: July 03, 2023, 03:57:29 AM
We must try to be active to read the rules, which may be very long and difficult to understand if we only read them once. We do that so that we don't break the rules and can immediately withdraw the money without any problems. It's better not to ignore these rules so that we can enjoy gambling well and withdraw the money. But many gamblers need to read the rules because they think it will be the same for every casino when it's not. It is a form of responsibility that we can take to protect ourselves while playing gambling so that we can be calm and comfortable playing gambling at a trusted casino.
While this is the correct thing to do, at the same time it is very rare, most of the time when a gambler wants to try a new casino they are so excited about it that they want to begin to gamble immediately, so they do not bother to read the terms of service of the casino, now most of the time this will not be a problem, however if you happen to encounter some circumstances that are out of the ordinary then you could regret not reading those terms, as in that case the casino will most likely be on the right and they will be able to take the measures that suit their interests the best.

If you start sending big amount to the casino, it is your very own responsibility to check the terms of the site.
Because whatever happens is your fault because as a player, you have the responsibility to know their ToS.
They put it in place as a common ground for both players and the owner, absence of this will give them a messy management of their casino.
So for me, some of these accusations also root from the ignorance of the players, and not entirely the casinos fault.
That's right. Before playing in the casino of your choice, always take a little time to read their rules so you won't be clueless but careful not to violate any of it. It's a basic thing to do but some of us are too complacent. Even you're just using a small amount for your gambling activity, it's not a reason to disregard the ToS.

Therefore, if you violate the rules because of being unaware then it's your fault. Unless they changed what's written on their ToS without notifying their players, well that's a different matter.

763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is your Gambling Pattern Like? on: July 02, 2023, 10:59:09 PM
Do you set aside specific times each day or week for gambling? When it comes to visiting casinos, do you play at one today or this week and then try out a different one the next time you want to gamble?
I gamble usually during day off every weekend. I prefer to stick playing on one casino then will switch the next time I gamble again.

As for bankroll management, do you track it using an app, Excel, or any other methods?
I'm only playing using a small amount so there's no need for me to use an app or something similar to track my bankroll. It's quite simple, I gamble using my budget and stop if got busted.

do you prefer playing at an online casino while listening to music in the background, or do you prefer a quiet atmosphere?
I prefer a quiet place so I can concentrate.
764  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 02, 2023, 01:25:54 PM

I'm sure Roobet also have other corporate social responsibility activities aside from this, and its good that Roobet is taking this seriously.
We are not just a gambler on this site, we are also part of this growing community and looking forward for more exposure with Roobet that can bring more help to many people. Little did we know, Roobet is working behind to work for their purpose and its not just about making money, its also about helping a lot of people.
Being a good casino or business platform the social elements are equally important because that shows the community relations which are essential for them to survive. But if they perform it well like such donations for helping out the needy it should be appreciated and Roobet team is always working towards accomplishment of these things.
This kind gesture of Roobet just shows they're not just focus on growing their casino but also to give back by sharing their blessings through helping different institutions (for sure this is not the first time they help).

It can create a positive impact to their casino as a good light for helping the needy. Moreover if you're part of their business it can make you proud that the platform did something great. The reason why Roobet is one of the established and reputable casino that is existing nowadays.
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: July 02, 2023, 10:51:58 AM
What kind of remorse? like spending that money or betting your money? If so, then I would think that it is better to think twice before betting. I am this kind of person when I lose; I do feel regret when I lose that amount, even if I do budget it for that play, because I always think that if I don't gamble it, I probably spent it on something else. But when I win, it makes me bet more, which is a sign of greediness. If you feel remorse after losing, then you should always consider that if you lose this money, are you okay with it or do you just not play on that day?
Well, it's understandable to have regrets after losing your money in gambling. Who would feel good when you lose, right? It's a human nature. But it's a feeling that is easy to accept if you're playing solely to entertain yourself. However if you're playing with an expectation to win or chasing your past losses then it's a different thing.

The reason why before we play, you have to ask yourself if you can bear the consequences if you gamble your money. As we know it's hard to win and the possibility to lose your money is high. So if a gambler is fine with it and can accept the worse case to happen then the decision is up to us.
766  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: July 02, 2023, 09:14:51 AM
Which offer or promotion offered by 1xbit is tempting or attractive one ?  I haven't came across any such offer which I think can compell the new gamblers towards this casino. The old gamblers already know about thier scam.

My point of concern is that they still find the gamblers to play at thier site. That's really strange and sad when we think of the scam they are doing with the gamblers.
actually when a gambler wants to find out a little more about this casino scam it only takes a little effort to google it. many negative reviews related to this scam casino. we have to become more vigilant people with our use of money. before using a gambling site that we don't know about, it's better for us to do a research first. Instead of losing our funds or just personal data because we chose the wrong gambling site. just take a moment. when you see bad reviews, it's better to avoid even though there are attractive promotions from the casino.
in fact such a thing can be done even when they are not members of the forum.
Exactly. It's not hard to do a research for us to know if the casino is scam or not. But many gamblers are still falling to play on this platform probably because of their laziness to check the reputation of 1xbit. Anyway, this casino is still existing because there are still people playing on their site. So I hope these gamblers will not experience the same fate of those who became a victim of this casino (for different reasoning) before they will stop playing.

Remember that we're using our hard-earned money to gamble hence only choose a reputable casino to play. So incase we win, we can withdraw our winnings smoothly and won't experience headache because you got scammed like those gamblers who have accusations against 1xbit.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 02, 2023, 08:03:07 AM
In physical and online casinos there are rules that you can read and that includes the age of people who can gamble. If you agree of the ToS and stated that you're in the right age to gamble, you can already access the platform.

However, even now I believe there are gamblers who are lying about their age just to play. It's not a problem at first but if happen to win huge and the casino requires you to abide on their kyc procedure, that would be the reason for them to hold the money and not pay. Because your true age will be revealed. So they will apply their regulatory rules to slap you of the reality that you can't gamble as an underage.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it's still wrong selling properties for Bitcoin? on: June 30, 2023, 08:09:17 AM
I am not trying to tell anyone to sell their properties to buy Butcoin, I have more lands that's why I am able to sell for Bitcoin, I think it's wrong having a land or two and sell because of Bitcoin, but if you have more, it's going to worth the risk, nothing grows insanely well like bitcoin does.
As the saying goes, "no pain, no gain" if you don't take risk you'll not gain anything. Selling a property might not a wise thing to do since real estate is also a good investment. But if your instinct says that it's more beneficial if you'll going to invest in Bitcoin then so be it. It's your choice. Just be matured enough to accept whatever the outcome of your decision. Regardless how good it seem to be, still, it's not guaranteed.

I am excited to see how 2024 and 2025 will play out, tell me, is anyone taking such risks with Bitcoin investment? Do you think I went too far selling something as valuable as lands?
As a Bitcoin investor, I know how profitable it is to invest in Bitcoin as long as you're not a weak hodlers. So if I were in your shoes, I will also do the same since I have more than one property and still fine even the result is not what I expected it to be. Investing in Bitcoin is risky, but worth it.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Return Of Terra Luna Classic on: June 30, 2023, 03:01:59 AM
I am dropping it here because it is just for information to all the users. Mostly for those who not heard the return of Terra Luna. Terra Luna a token in the Cryptocurrency Ecosystem collapsed last year May and the co founders were jailed, the co founder was given 4 month jail term. In the month of April, the programmers came up with new idea to relaunched the coin and they call themselves  “Six Samurai." The rebranded name is "Terra Classic"
Six Samurai: Anonymous Developers Seek to Revive Terra Classic Ecosystem
I don't think they can fool the investors to buy and support this new coin as the revival of Terra Luna with a new name. The past experienced of Terra Luna investors are traumatic to those who believe it can't go to zero but turned out as a scam project.

So it's not going to work unless an investor attracted to buy is not careful to do an extensive research before trusting a project. Because investors already learned their lesson, so I bet they will not repeat the same mistakes again, right?
770  Economy / Economics / Re: Am I a bad person if I manage to avoid taxes? (Hypothetical question) on: June 30, 2023, 02:08:23 AM
So, my legitimate question is, after all the robbery, a person, who doesn't pay taxes, is a bad person for the society or not? More likely I want to get answer from those whose countries have a model similar of European healthcare and employment insurance.
Tax evasion is a criminal liability so trying to avoid paying tax is against the law. These are one of the issues of prominent people here (athletes, politicians and actors) who failed to pay their tax on time and was charged of tax evasion for not paying their obligation.

Sometimes we think it's unfair for us to pay taxes especially for workers who don't have sufficient salary to live comfortably. But why we're oblige to pay taxes? thinking it is too much since goods, services etc. already have taxed. You're not bad if you chose not to pay, however it's a moral obligation since these taxes will be use to finance the Government's projects including health, education, public infrastructure etc. or in short it helps build the nation. The fact that it is use for the betterment of the country can make us realize that our little contribution can make a big changes.
771  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's Bitcoin trust worthy on: June 29, 2023, 03:15:38 AM
It's Bitcoin trust worthy for investment? Cus have tried many platform but all failed and this my last hope... I was introduced into it.
If you're curious to know, better exert an effort to do a research. Because there are plenty of informations online (and here on the forum) that are helpful to understand Bitcoin. So my advice is to DYOR. If you already have an idea about Bitcoin, that's the time you'll know the right answer to your question base on your judgement.

Anyway, many of us here already witnessed the ups and downs. There are season to accumulate and take profit, if you're going to ask if it's worth it, for me yes. I'm an investor of Bitcoin for years and had gained decent amount already. Nevertheless, an investor should know the risk of investing to be prepared for the unexpected situation.
772  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better to have a trading knowledge than depending on signals. on: June 29, 2023, 01:54:46 AM
It's a must for every traders to have a knowledge about trading. Because if you decided to trade with an empty head about it then you're just gambling your hard-earned money. Hence, if you value your capital and would like to make it grow, it's necessary to follow the basic rules before engaging yourself in trading. That includes gaining knowledge since it is one of our key to succeed in this career.

On the other side, I have nothing against using signals if you're not really confident of what you know and just want to be certain. Signals might help but the question is, is it reliable? or you're just spending your money for nothing. If it's working then why not, but prioritize to have your own understanding about trading so you don't have to rely on signals or to anyone.
773  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Silliman University College of Law Professor Launch Platform To Educate Bitcoin on: June 29, 2023, 12:40:57 AM

774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Buys Bitcoin When The Price is 100k$? on: June 28, 2023, 06:26:53 AM
When you buy Bitcoin hen the price is 100k$ then how much will you sell it back to make profit because at that time the price of Bitcoin might not exceed 100k$ and if the price didn't not exceed that amount you will become a loser in the business so how does the vendors do at that time?
If you buy at $100k then you have to sell it at a higher price to profit. That's the way to gain from your investment, in addition you need a long patience. But why would you wait for an expensive price to buy if you can do it now while the price is much cheaper?

Will the price pass 100k$ next year 2024 for buys to make their gain?
There's always a possibility to surpass a $100k price. However we can't certainly predict when it might happen so we just need to wait and be firm when it comes to holding.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there real sports bet groups on: June 28, 2023, 01:37:11 AM
If someone claimed they have the right strategy for gambling and winning more times than losing, why can't they use the strategy for themselves and change their lives first?
What they're saying are not proven to be working. It's just a lie.

Why did they go around looking for people to teach? This is why experience after following a friend to a gambling group on telegram, but I am not ready to take the step in any other their predictions..
Because they can't apply it for themselves. As I've said, it's just a lie. They're only luring other gamblers to take advantage them, so if you're not aware of this you might really believe they have the right strategy in order to profit.

My question for you my friends is are there sport betting groups that gives betting calls that are legit? Because I believe that if anyone knows a way to change their life around, they won't tell anyone, they will enjoy the moments and pray it last forever.
Exactly. If it's really working and can bring fortune to them why do they have to invite other gamblers if they can do it for themselves right? It's not real, thus better exert an effort to gain knowledge. So you can better grasp the nature of sports betting and to know what you should do to maximize your chance to gain.
776  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 28, 2023, 12:06:32 AM
~

Since they are still up with those existing contest ideas they really see somethin good in return for doing that and for sure they can see the exposure brought up for what they do here. This is also generous act by this management to launch those contest since they are giving huge rewards to the winners and that makes their promotion more exciting since the result is exciting to wait especially it can make their gambler to do more effory so that they could win those prizes.

Yeah, all casinos of high level should be doing something like that all the time. And if they are using crypto currencies, they should be running various contests here on bitcointalk primarily. Online casinos like Roobet🦘 understand it, and that is why their business is good, they are thriving. Those who want to avoid spending money on such events, will be losers in the future, I have no doubt about that.

I do agree that it would be good for the forum and that the casinos will probably find a highly specialized user base here
though it's worth remembering too that there are lots of crypto users that aren't active here in the forum.
Although many crypto users are not active here, we can still say that the efforts of casinos that are promoting their platform through sig campaigns, giveaways or contest are worth it because of the good result that can be seen on the increasing numbers of people using their site. A contest with a generous prize like what the Roobet casino has been doing for years gave them a good impression and earned the trust of the gamblers here. Aside from that they also help the artist to showcase their hidden talent (for many of us to see) and have a chance to be rewarded.
777  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: June 27, 2023, 07:10:58 AM
I think the thought of quitting a job that provides me with a steady salary is a bad decision,
consider with a calm mind before making a decision,
better trade make it as a second job and it will be better.
It's not that bad if you're really confident to trade Bitcoin. However, despite of the time and effort you spend, there are moments you can't really take profit consistently since bearish season is for accumulation. Therefore you have to wait for an increase in order to trade your Bitcoin. Just shows that there's a certain time on when you can profit and a time to fill your bags. That being said it's not really wise to quit your job to be a full time Bitcoin trader, though no one can stop you if you think that's more beneficial in your situation.

Anyway, we have different opinion regarding this. Maybe some prefer to go full time because it's convenient rather than working 8 hours a day on a day job while some don't agree.  But just remember to always choose what's giving you a profit that can sustain the needs of your family and it can be both if possible.

778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do meme coins have a future? on: June 27, 2023, 04:01:11 AM
I'm new in the crypto space and understanding different crypto projects. While the majority of cryptocurrencies I have studied about have some kind of a solution to the existing problem in Web 3.0, DeFi, etc. Recently, I studied Polygon MATIC, which is solving the problem of high gas fees on the Ethereum-based apps.

In the past few days, PEPE, a new meme coin, has gained massive attention in the community. But I actually didn't understand what could be its major objective. Is there any reason to say this meme coin will work for the betterment of the entire crypto and Web3 realm?

There is another new meme coin called SNEK, based on Cardano. What impact these meme coins will create in the crypto space?

I don't understand why meme coins such as Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and Pepe are so famous and why do people invest in them, wondering about the future of meme coins.

The beginning $doge was being made for a "joke" only, it's not intended to do anything rather than exist, but alas the coin was too strong and still exists today and has something in common with Alts/tokens world; hype.

In the last few years, I witness some meme coins rising because people want to have fun, and there are some moments when people like to profit from it.
Doge started as a joke but made it to be on top meme coin that most investors prefer than any memes available. The hype (especially when Elon promote it) influence the investors and mostly the new ones to buy and hold this coin. Although memes are existing without real use case, the hype is the reason why it has value since people are investing for the hope to gain a x1000 profit which you can't gain if you invest in established coins since they already reach their ATH.

Though there's a possibility to gain huge, the risk of losing your money is also high in meme coins. Thus, it is not recommended to blindly invest in memes unless you already did your research and still decided to take a shot.
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guilty of promising not to gamble for specific days but back next day on: June 27, 2023, 02:29:43 AM
I did it many times back when my addiction is very high, I promise not to gamble after I lose a big amount I even swear that I will not, but the following day I'm back even promising to be better and not lose a big amount again.
It happened to me before, the time gambling is a habit and winning is my ultimate goal. Everytime I win, it's easy to say that would be the last or I won't be playing for days to enjoy the winnings. However, in reality it's really tempting to gamble again after the good experienced you had so it's just right to try once again and see if luck will still hit you.

But for gamblers who have discipline, refraining themselves are not hard because they know it's not wise to play once again due to the possibility of losing what you gained. So I think it's about self control, you can't break your promise if you can apply it to yourself.
780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Still Gamble? on: June 27, 2023, 01:24:42 AM
It is also an indication of greediness, as you want to get back all the losses. It is not that one indication that you are addicted to gambling; when you keep playing, like on a daily basis, and can't stop the urge to bet, that is also a sign of gambling. Even if you keep winning or just getting draws, if you still keep playing, that is a sign that you won't stop any time soon.
Im not sure if it will be indicating the greediness of people. It's a common thing if people just wanna get back what they have lost if they have lost a lot. It's not undeniable if some people can't accept the loss.
People just need to take care of themselves before they will try to bet use their money. They must be carefully deciding how much money that must be wagered.
I hope people will be understand about that. People can take it easy.
But many gamblers can't think of such thing before they gamble for believing they can make their money grow. This is also the reason why gamblers are keep on playing, the thought of winning instantly is stuck on their head. Then will only realize the mistake after experiencing consistent losses and much worst if the money is what they can't live without.

Anyway, if you're a gambler, it doesn't mean you have no future or your life is wasted. Because it depends how you deal with it and how you treat gambling to not have a bad impact in your life. There are gamblers who are successful on their chosen career while playing because gambling is just their way to entertain themselves. Thus it depends.
