1721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning - 100,000 ETH Giveaway!!!! on: September 30, 2022, 07:02:26 AM
Guys down to the official tweet from Vitalik about the release of his Book Proof Of Stake there is a scam account that resembles same as Vitalik's official Twitter account. If you watch closely you can easily find the difference. The scammer have described about a 100,000 ETH as a celebration of merge. Please be careful and don't loss your ethereum.

These scam giveaways will never stop as long as there are people who fall for this scheme, it's been years since these scam giveaways started but we still see a lot of these reports, the community has done their part reporting these scam giveaways, but we have many people coming in and misled because in the early days of Cryptocurrency there are many legit airdrops and giveaways but we are past this, great projects should be supported by investing on these projects so they can continue to evolve and get a good standing in the market.
1722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Heavyweight Battle of Britain - FURY vs JOSHUA on: September 30, 2022, 03:47:55 AM
I'm a fan of Fury, probably my favourite boxer. Although, it's hard to defend him when he's doing exactly what I dislike about boxing. The big fights just never happen, and it's exhausting. Also, the fact that he fake retires every other week. It gets exhausting. This is exactly the reason I looked to MMA, because at least the big fights happen, and they happen frequently.

I always assumed it was the promoters that were behind it, but it does seem Fury's just playing games, and having fun in his own head. At least Joshua looks like he wants to get the business done, despite being a heavy underdog. I don't know if this is an attempt to drum up attention for the fight by Fury, but he doesn't even need to sell this event. This is a classic among British fans, and assuming that's where it's likely to end up being at, there's very little publicity that actually needs to be done.

I don't know what to make of it, but it's exhausting, and highlights exactly what's wrong with boxing.

It's hanging now, it looks like the fight will not push through, and based on the statement of Joshua they have done their thing but Fury just pull out of the fight, we need to hear Fury's side of the story, he is the one that offers the fight he sent the contract and maybe because of waiting too long he just wants to make it happen anymore, we'll see the development of the talks Fury can go back because this will be an easy fight for him.

1723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing and the casino business. on: September 29, 2022, 09:55:09 PM
There's a huge risk investing in the casino also
Quote
So perhaps the best lesson for investing in casino stocks is to pick your spots because the market can wipe away years of profit very quickly.
this is a quote from the article you've mentioned, you can make a lot of money and at the same time wipe out all your investment because there will always be times when circumstances and conditions where the gambling stocks could drop if you're a big risk taker investing in casinos is a good choice high profit but so is the risk, I prefer investing stocks on a popular brand where the risk is lower and can easily regain their losses, stocks like oil, are a safe investment.
1724  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is Faucetpay paying bigger withdrawals? on: September 29, 2022, 08:08:04 PM
I am not sure how long FaucetPay.io has been in business, but as far as I know, they have been around for a few years (since 2018 if my memory is correct). I haven't seen any serious allegations against them yet. Not on this forum at least. But of course, that doesn't mean the company can't close shop and run away with your money at any time, since it's a custodial wallet service after all.

Yes that's true I've been a member there since I can remember this is one of the early sites where I have an account when I was very active on faucets and trust the site because they only pick the best faucets in the industry and quick to take actions on the complaint, they have built their reputation for a long time, but on your question will they run away with member's money, I don't disregard the possibility, remember not your keys, not your coins, they may have built their reputation for a long time but sometimes bad things happen, so always invest what you can afford and you'll be safe, check their stats and their stats always, I may go back to being active because there are now so many features.
1725  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any experiences with mrSloty.com ? on: September 29, 2022, 02:50:37 PM
I will avoid them like the plague, if you read this review ==> https://thepogg.com/casino-review/mr-sloty/

"Mr Sloty appear to be involved in the distribution of fake games and they are known for not responding to customer complaints. Mr Sloty is a owned by MRSL NV. It claims to be licensed in Curacao, but fails to offer any link to validate its license."

So there you have it..... access this site with caution, because it has a bad reputation in the gambling community.  Wink

They do have a bad reputation and bad ratings but so far they don't have a scam allegation here I hope by posting this casino here people will now be aware of their behavior, they are unlikely to make an announcement here since they have bad ratings, I hope one of the complainants get an account here and make an accusation in the scam section so we will have a reference here, even though we already have this thread.
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul VS Anderson Silva October 29th on: September 29, 2022, 01:25:53 PM
When people start these vs threads they should really make them polls. I’m curious who the community feels is going to win this one but don’t want to read through and tally everything myself. I think that youth is going to beat experience in this one, but I also don’t think Jake can knock him out so we’ll have to see if he can win when it comes down to a decision.
I feel the community will be divided. The thing is Jake has knock out power, but will he be able to use that knock out power now he has a bit of volume coming back at him. Plus, Anderson is a tricky fighter, he's not your traditional boxer, and he doesn't throw traditional punches. However, he does throw them quite a lot which I think is the difference between this opponent, and all previous opponents. We've yet to see Jake be put on the back foot, and I think at the very least Anderson will be able to do that at some point in the fight.

I'm currently swaying towards Jake though, which pains me to say as I loved Anderson in the MMA scene.

I'm split myself as I was with the Woodley fight. It's probably going to be Jake's toughest challenge yet, though I'd put it in the same category as Woodley. Woodley is nearly ten years younger than Silva so he has the age advantage, but Silva was a much better MMA fighter and is now doing fairly decently in boxing himself so there's pros and cons to bother fighters in terms of matchups. If I had to put money on it maybe it goes the distance and Jake on points. I kinda want Jake to win though just to see how far he can actually take this, and ultimately I really wanna see him fight someone like McGregor. The build up to that fight would be epic with all the trash-talking and I think Jake could give Connor a good game in that respect.

It's been said a thousand times style makes a fight, both fighters are good in both offense and defense and they are both capable, I won't consider the age, I am more considering their conditioning both fighters consider this as their level up fight, both trains are on the go and one of the trains is going to stop after this fight, I like Silva to win, but a win by Jake Paul will unfold another exciting journey and you are right Connor should be the next if Jake Paul's train continues, it's not going to be battle of skills only but a battle of thrash talks, I am more curious on their thrash talks than on their fight  Cheesy.
1727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you change your mind on gambling ? on: September 29, 2022, 10:08:57 AM
You are a core gambler,I mean you have a reserved or particular time that you use in gambling everyday, just the way some of us are,we even add gambling expenses to our monthly budget because we gamble to entertain ourselves.
A new government came into power, and enacted a law that nobody should gamble anymore in the country i.e gambling becomes illegal. Will you just behave yourself and abide to this new law that is depriving you from having fun as a good citizen ? or will you ignore the law and keep on gambling since there are online casinos that you can gamble secretly with your mobile phones with out no one knowing ?

Our government can't monitor all its citizens, they can only close shops, bookies, and casinos but when you're in the comfort of your room, they can't spy on you so you can still play online and make a bet, I just make sure I keep it secret and will not tell my gambling online even to my best friend when it comes online, there's a lot of benefits for gamblers because you're government can only do so much and will not spend time and manpower to catch online gamblers.
1728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 29, 2022, 08:56:26 AM

I don't think that bookies have inside information on the fight, they may have listed it based on the articles that is coming out and that is the date of Nov 19.

And we have to search for the latest article, still goes down to the fight being agreed in terms. But nowhere we see that they have sign the contract already. So in short, the fight is still far from being made and the only thing we do is wait and as you have said, be positive.

I can't believe that we have 40 pages and yet we are not 100% sure that the fight is going to happen, we are left speculating by all the parties involved in this fight, and I wonder what's going on in the minds of both fighters are they concentrating on the fight now, are they training hard even if there is no contract signed, this is the first time I read that there is a fight going to happen even though there is no contract signed, and we are a few days before October its only two months before their supposed date of the fight.
1729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: September 28, 2022, 02:54:21 AM
We are going to be using Micheal Jordan as our case study :

Micheal Jordan gambled away $5 million dollars in one night[1], he is a Billionaire, but that does not remove the fact that that's a hell lots of money to gamble away in just one night, you might want to say he is an adult and a Billionaires, and he is free to spend his money in which ever way he wants - understandable... Now, what about his son?

Marcus Jordan is just 19 years old, he spent a whooping $50,000 dollars in one night in Las Vegas on gambling and drinking in a strip night club[1][2][3], the report shows he threw away $35,000 in gambling while $15,000 went into drinking alcohol and girls in the club, and do not forget that it is illegal to drink and gamble under the age of 21 in the state of Nevada where they live....

The young lad even posted that night's expenditures on his Twitter account where he said , and I quote....
Quote
"Last night was stupid... 35K at Haze," the University of Central Florida sophomore guard said. "Totals 50K something the whole day."
but according to report, the tweet got deleted.

What do you make out of this story, should we really allow our children to live such a lifestyle like gambling and night clubbing, most especially, when they are still under aged?

It seems the son wants to beat his father's record as a basketball player and in spending his earnings on vices, Michael knows there are a lot of problems when you are a compulsive gambler, he's been there so he should make sure that his son will not follow his addiction, he'll have a problem if his son become one just like what he did to his father, I'm sure there's a father and son talk about Marcus activity, he should be a good example to the youth this era is very different from Michael Jordan because of social media's people can easily expose you, compared to the times of Michael that many people do not know about his gambling addiction
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 27, 2022, 10:08:02 PM
I didn't expect the distance of the odds. I thought neither Spence nor Crawford will be the Favorites, the odds for them is just close.

Crawford at 1.6 over Spence at 2.1 just shows that bookies looked at the former as Heavy Favorites and not just the usual Favorites.

It's not even a trap to consider but either way, I will still pick Spence to win this match.
I think when the date get closer until the fight will happen, Spence odds will be higher since many people will bet Crawford. Crawford currently become top 3 pound for pound while Spence is on top 4, though it's close, but a difference is still different.

I'll watch the odds, if the odds is really small of Crawford, I wouldn't bet him since it doesn't worth for the risk. I believe there's will be a rematch sooner or later regardless who's win here.

Too early to make some bets because both odds aren't that appealing yet, and it's not yet tempting me to place some bets. The date of the fight is not yet final as we are still waiting for some finals details regarding this fight, so in any case, the odds will change up until the day of the fight. And expect that there will be rematch too, it's hard seeing an undisputed fight without a rematch from the defeated camp.

A friend is challenging me for a bet but I did not say yes right away because all I have seen are speculations of the fight as there are no showing or posting the fight will happen because the contract has been signed, they need to show us this first because all the betting sites are speculating on the fight, and on the rematch, it depends on what kind of fight they are going to show us if it's a close fight a rematch is desirable if it's very dominant by the other fighter then ticket sales is not desirable and they will have to think of a rematch right away.
1731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Casino Licenses on: September 27, 2022, 02:42:14 PM

Is it possible and legal to open an online casino without a license?
You can open a casino without a license but the standard on what players are looking for a casino is its license
I have heard that a license only allows to put users in confidence
What do you think about this?
You can open a casino without a license but the standard on what players are looking for in a casino is its license, online gambling is a  very competitive market and you are out of gamblers' radar if you do not have it, players look on casinos that are regulated so if they have a complaint they have authority over the casino that they can turn too.
It's part of serious business to have a license, look around you where money is involved they have a license to show you.
1732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: September 27, 2022, 12:03:57 PM

How about you do you had a worst day on gambling  that you will never forget ?Did it affect an aspect of your life and how ?

It's always worst when you are playing with money that you can afford to lose and you are chasing your losses, every time I do these I felt worst and I have a sleeplessness night and I have to cover or pay the price of the money that I use for these two situations as much as possible under any circumstances don't use money allocated for something important, and when you lose it don't chase it, you'll likely suffer from a mental breakdown.
1733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: September 27, 2022, 08:37:50 AM
Although gambling is legal here in our country that does not mean that you have to show people that you gamble, and here in our country it depends on the kind of gambling you are engaged in, you can bet in a lottery, and its ok as the majority are taking their chances to bet on the lottery, its acceptable, but when they hear or see you in cockpit arena or casinos people will have a bad impression of you, so if you're a professional and you want to gamble pick the gambling activity that you want to involve in and gambling activity that you need to hide.
1734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i get banned for Card Counting in online casinos? on: September 25, 2022, 09:11:37 AM

Here the question is, have you ever seen a user getting banned from an online casino for card counting?

To be clear, card counting isn't a method to always win, it's just a method to have better odds.

I've read about card counting on physical casinos it's old news but card counting online is new to me, how can that be possible, and do these casinos have a way to check if one of their users is engaged in card counting, they might falsely accuse their users if they restrict their members from counting cards, so far I have not seen one comes out posting that he was restricted for card counting, unless I see one report I don't think its possible to do card counting online.
1735  Economy / Gambling / Re: I play on dueblits on strip club and win on: September 23, 2022, 02:57:58 PM
First, we have a guy who claimed to have beaten Duelbits, now we have this, I will not argue that Duelbits is a good casino I can recommend it, they have zero complaints one of the longest signature campaigns managed by a highly reputable manager, everything's great on Duelbits, but members also have obligation to follow the forum rules, I recommend to OP to lock this thread we got his point that he loves to play here, and it's his lucky casino to play.
1736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 23 on: September 23, 2022, 01:33:49 PM
Hours before the fight and this is the result of our poll here among Bitcointalk members

Stevenson by decision   - 9 (45%)
Conceicao by decision   - 0 (0%)
Draw   - 0 (0%)
Stevenson by KO/TKO   - 11 (55%)
Conceicao by KO/TKO   - 0 (0%)
Total Voters: 20

The community did not give Robson Conceicao even one vote, Shakur Stevenson made the right decision of not compromising his health to retain the title, he still has a lot of great fights to make in the future and he doesn't want to gamble with his health, he will be a champion again.
1737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: September 23, 2022, 12:44:27 PM
Today, Twitch took to their verified Twitter account to announce that they will be banning gambling streaming in their platform by October 18th this year, - this is less than a month from today.
In their announcement, they said the banned gambling sites will include stake.com, Rollbit.com, Duelbits.com, Roobet.com etc.
They said that they will identify other gambling platforms and ban them too as the move forward.

What do you guys think of this development?
According to the published article, the reason for the ban is due to backlash they(Twitch) received from influencers.

Do you think backlash received from influencers is enough reason for Twitch to ban gambling streaming on their platform?

They want to be above standard and they want to be competitive because of streaming, Twitch.tv has become popular among other niche streamers they attained popularity and this is what makes them competitive but they want their reputation among its users clean, they are enjoying popularity since they launched in 2009 and they don't want their platform to get harm with these criticisms, anyway these gambling streamers can transfer to other platforms I'm sure their followers will follow them on other platforms.
1738  Economy / Gambling / Re: Euphoriabet.io NO KYC Crypto Esports Betting and Roulette on: September 23, 2022, 11:49:20 AM

We do not require KYC if the player does not violate the rules, we can request KYC if the player is suspected of cheating , betting on contractual matches, multi-accounting
You should know better, all casinos will ask for KYC if they violate the rules and are suspected of cheating but they are not promoting themselves as a no KYC casino, if you're promoting as a no KYC it's literally no KYC, the readers will take it as it is based on your title, you will just invite cheaters in your site because you promoted your casino as no KYC, but if they know that there is an exception then they will think twice joining and cheating the casino.

Good point, there should be no KYC at all when a site claims to have NO KYC. For me it sounds like a marketing strategy only because maybe OP know that most people in this forum against KYC, so he use that words to attract people. Yes it can be misleading because most people do not read ToS or T&C before joining a platform. In fact KYC might be asked for some specific reason as stated in ToS. Basically it is the same with most other reputable casinos in this forum. They do not implement mandatory KYC and they have a term related to KYC but they do not claim to be "no kyc" casino.
Its like fooling around once they implement KYC since they supposed to be a non KYC compliant as they claim that on their thread. So if they ask this then maybe this is a red flag because they can make this as an excuse for people who doesn't want to provide it to hostage their money if they don't do this procedure. But anyways let see how they can serve quality experience to their bettors.

OP should do the right thing, take out the non-KYC in the title and replace it with another compelling tag line don't boast as a no KYC casino when you are not, there was a casino in the past that also boast of a no KYC casino but they have KYC in their TOS, I don't remember the name but it's not existing anymore, who would trust a casino who tries to deceive people from a policy that contradict their terms, let's see if they will take that non KYC or people should cautious on this casino.
1739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 23 on: September 23, 2022, 07:38:22 AM
So Shakur Stevenson is stripped of his WBO and WBC belts. If Conceicao somehow manages to pull an upset then he can take the 2 belts. Although even if Shakur is having a hard time making the weight limit, I am still doubtful of an upset. For as long as Conceicao cannot make a clear win per round then he still can't take the judges' nods as Shakur is being built as the next big thing in boxing despite his lack of power.

After this fight, Shakur can take a tune-up at 135, and then he can take the winner of the Loma-Haney/Kambosos fight.

This is unfortunate but Shakur's health is more important than making a cut so he relinquished the title, I also believe that Shakur is far superior to Conceicao, Shakur will win this bout then he will move up a division that is loaded with talents, it's a good match up between any of the two Loma or Haney or even Ryan Garcia, it's good that he chooses to move up so he can test his skill on a division with a lot of skillful boxers and see if he can rule that division, this is a big challenge ahead for Shakur but he must first beat Conceicao decisively which I believe he can.

Checking the domain info, only seven days before the domain expire you usually get a lot of notification if you have a domain expiring, 3 weeks before it expires although there is still a grace period, are you fully aware of it because this is a big concern if you don't pay attention to it.
