1461  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Spiroll.app | Win $50 BTC | Predict last three digits of bitcoin block #768250 on: December 21, 2022, 02:24:13 PM
768.250nd block hash number is 00000000000000000007827d4a16cdf94f9eafa720d260a9acc6f700eba5a4ac

The closest prediction is 432! Congrats @Heibo! You will get reward tomorrow.

There is an allegation about your contest that it lacks fairness can you go here and address this issue for a new casino with a contest this is not good although the accuser has put a question mark on his post because he seems not sure if there is cheating at all please address this.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5430644.0

to be honest the question mark is unnecessary. it was clear that Spiroll edited his post and put "432" after block #768,250 has been mined and then Heibo edited his post to "432" a minute after Spiroll. OP probably didn't know that posts get archived and can be checked whether the post has been edited or what has been edited on the post. anyway, it would be best to just avoid the casino altogether since they can't even do a giveaway that is worth $50 without cheating who knows what will happen if someone won a sizable amount on their gambling site

Good point but I still want to see, how will they address this, OP is active let's see how will they explain this, this is serious, they have a bad start in their announcement, and members are asking for proof of reserves some members are giving them a chance, but $50 for a rigged contest do not look good on their cause, it seems members advice to stay away on this casino is the right thing to do.
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Paxful delisted ETH? on: December 21, 2022, 01:32:10 PM
I guess just like the rest of us who criticized the ETH moved from POW->POS.

It means that integrity of the network could be controlled by few, hence it's going to be centralized. And we don't like this and probably what the CEO of Paxful as well for delisting ETH.

Or it could that the CEO of Paxful has issues with CZ that we don't know of, so even if there is revenue as he said, it doesn't matter for him.

I wonder if other exchanges will follow Paxful lead let's admit there are still many exchanges that are loyal to Ethereum but because of this move there could be a change of direction we hate centralization after what happened to FTX and we have seen the risk of centralization, we'll see the impact in the market in the coming weeks and let's see if there will be next exchange to delist Eth, this move if it's going to have a domino effect against Ethereum will have a bad an effect on its position in the industry.
1463  Economy / Gambling / Re: casinoxy.com SCAM deposit not credited , probably not even a real casino on: December 21, 2022, 10:58:45 AM
It's really hard for newbies to just pick out casinos without doing enough research to check their status and reputation, as long as we have bad actors and scammers in the industry we will have more people coming in to report scams.
I recommend and urge reputable casinos to keep marketing their casino and keep branding their casino, scammers are spending a lot of money to advertise and scam people, don't let them beat you and win newbies on your side so we will not see more newbies losing their money, these newbies are falling to scam casinos because on how these scam casinos spend on advertising.

1465  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [ALERT] Returnyourcrypto.com: Scammers with fake testimonies on: December 20, 2022, 10:27:53 PM
I visited the site and here are the instructions they give on how to "refund" your money:

Quote
  • Contact us via Telegram or email.
  • Send us a scam token address, Number of scam tokens available, Date of purchase, and preferably a hash of the transaction.
  • Send us the received key.
  • We load the key and all the information received about the fraudulent token into the script we created
  • Our script interacts with a fraudulent smart contract and after that it becomes possible to unlock the possibility of exchanging coins and your money is returned to you.

By "received key" they actually mean the private key of your wallet. They even described how to export a private key from Metamask. The fact that they are asking you to hand over your private keys should be a major red flag. This should be enough to convince you that this is a scam.

All this mumble jumble only serves to trick victims into giving away their private keys, which then allows the scammer access to their entire wallet.

They make it sound simple and easy and with testimonials, you will think it's real but it's not if you are a real holder and investor you know that
Quote
Not your keys, not your coins
is the most basic rule in protecting your coins, even if they explain to you that it is safe if anyone or any of platform ask for your private keys, then you can conclude that they are trying to scam you, so protect your coins at all times by not giving your keys to anyone its the cardinal rule.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slow down if you want to recover your losses on: December 20, 2022, 12:39:09 AM
I want to share my own technique on how I overcome my loss. You can share yours too on the comment below.

Not really something new I have done and continue doing this by pausing and watching movies on Netflix and coming back after a few minutes but getting the same results, winning sometimes but losing most of the time, sometimes it made me think that its the movie I watched not the slowdown or pausing. Cheesy

Quote
The slow down bets makes me think clearly and stop me for doing risky bet. This is most important lesson I learned on this messy situation.
Give us an update after you made ten sessions and update us if you have a good average, if you have a good result that's good for you that doesn't mean that others will have the same results too.
1467  Economy / Reputation / Re: It sucks that 1xbit still runs on: December 18, 2022, 01:49:42 PM
Advertising on Bitcointalk is nothing. Look how these scammers are manipulating people around the world:
FatFork proved that 1xBit and 1xBet are the same company:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5267172.msg58106716#msg58106716
It's beyond logic why they are still running when they are exposed accused and despised by the gambling community here, I guess they are well funded and they managed these by bribing advertising platforms and massive advertising like what they are doing right now here and on other platforms.

Quote
See what sponsorship deals 1xBit/1xBet have:
- FC Barcelona Global Partner - https://www.fcbarcelona.com/en/club/sponsors
- Italian Serie A League - https://www.legaseriea.it/en/lega-serie-a/sponsor-e-partner

This is one of the biggest casinos in the world. They don't care about negative trust on Bitcointalk at all.
I'm just surprised that such serious institutions as Barcelona and Serie A can't check who they work with.
Really surprising maybe because the organizers see these accusations as baseless because they do not have a pending legal case and the organizers considered these allegations as hearsay, 1XBIT, and 1XBET really know how to present their case, and they have good lawyers.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Solution to Address the Problem of Gambling in Australia. on: December 18, 2022, 09:41:00 AM
This is a good initiative, credit card credit is a big temptation not only to spend but to gamble and gamblers love to gamble until nothing is left, they will look for funds ask for a loan, and sell their pieces of stuff but with a credit card at their disposal, they cannot be stopped until they reach their limit and that's where the problem starts, countries with high numbers of gamblers should take the lead from Australia and implement this restriction.
1469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Go-to casino on: December 17, 2022, 12:21:19 PM
Hi guys, just interested what are your casino's of choice? Or just general online sites?
And what are your go-to games?

It should be a casino that allocates budgets for marketing because they understand branding in a competitive industry, reputation and branding are two main features of casinos that you should play, and one of the casinos that have this is
Betcoin.AG there are many other casinos but I know that Betcoin.AG
is worth playing and when it comes to games I like games that are challenging and these Dice, Crash game and of course slot.
1470  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Defaulted [edgycorner] on: December 16, 2022, 01:57:46 PM
Supported the flag I understand we are in trying times I also have friends who I have been given a loan because of economic issues but they contact me to ask for more time but it seems edgycorner has no intention of requesting to ask for time, $230 is the amount of his account, there are campaigns that accept red trust on their campaign but I don't think this kind of tag and flag will be accepted in any campaign, sorry for your loss Buddy you will find a way to get that amount back in other ways.
Don't lose trust on people who ask for your help, not all people are like him.
1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Credit on: December 16, 2022, 12:12:45 PM
This is one way to entice people to gamble because you are using money that you are not yet holding its similar to a casino loan shark, where they will loan you amount so you can continue playingg in exchange for promissory notes or collateral the difference is this casino credit is casino owned and its legal, its a way for them to sustain urge to play, because they know gamblers love to chase their losses with money that they don't own, its risky and you will be in big trouble financially.
1472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipping during live slot, or casino games. on: December 16, 2022, 11:03:26 AM

How much do you tip a slot machine attendant?
For those who visit and still enjoy the services of these live casino operators, am curious as to know how you tip the attenders. Do you tip only when you are winning and how much is too much tip to give? Also, I do not think online casinos even have this option, but if there is, can you share?
Of Course, only tip when you win, it's hard to give a tip when you lose especially if it's a big amount, of course, they will understand it, it's not obligatory to tip but its a gambler's tradition and it attracts luck on your next spin.

Quote
In most parts of US, any payout of more than $1,200 is paid in person by the slot floor person. The tipping here starts with a minimum amount of $20 and can be up between 3-10 percent of the jackpot reward. It however, depends on the discretion of the customer.

Here in our country, there is no rule it's not obligatory and you can tip whatever amount and how generous you are, As I said it invites luck and you like it when people wish you luck especially the attendant.
Quote
Do you think it is necessary to give tips or it is just a tradition that is required?
It's like in a restaurant you tip because of the good but this time in live casinos it's because you happen to be lucky and it invites good karma so you can repeat it again.

1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: turned gambler after investing in BTC or investor turned gambler? on: December 16, 2022, 07:23:21 AM

So she asked how I end up gambling online. I'm not totally a gambler at all, I started investing and somehow stray as I'm trying to win some.
She began to worry since her son is on the computer all the time and might gamble upon learning the BTC can be gambled.
She really has a reason to worry because gambling sites are just keywords away and some gaming sites are advertising gambling sites even showing deposit bonuses and chances to win big something newbies hard to ignore that's how I end up turning from investor to gambler long before I become active in gambling

Quote
Which one has a high possibility of happening, a gamer eventually becomes a gambler or an investor turns into a gambler?

They almost have the same interface and the same dashboard gamers can fully acquaint themselves with gambling sites with little tutorials, gamers and gamblers have the same risk behaviors they go all out when seeing an opportunity

Quote
But first, answer the poll which are you. Are you a gambler that become an investor or an investor that turned into a gambler?

I am an investor before turning to gambling when I was active in altcoin bounty hunting and gambling sites are advertising here in Bitcointalk I get attracted to those bonuses and a chance to win big prizes, which looks easy at first glance until you find out that it's not that easy.
1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Better Ways To Manage Energy Consumption For Casino Centers. on: December 16, 2022, 01:48:57 AM
A casino is an entertainment portal people love to see lights and fully functional machines because it invites gamblers to play, no way a gambler will play in a machine that you'll have to turn on to be able to play they can go green and allocate most of the consumption on machines and lighting on solar energy it goes down to allocation of energy but never make machines in sleep mode or turn them off if you look at Las Vegas they spend on lighting and design because this what attracts visitors and this is where they make a profit.
It's a good decision to go Green and install solar panels to keep everything running.
1475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What New And Other Casinos Should Do To Get To The Top And Edge Top Casinos on: December 15, 2022, 11:33:25 PM
It's going to be a hard climb for new casinos and other casinos but it's not impossible, reputation and popularity did not just happen overnight there's always continuous branding casinos never stop branding themselves they continue their marketing not just a two months campaign here in Bitcointalk but they see to it that their brand will always come across the mind of the gambling community.

Reputation is another thing that should be always considered casinos should always address the concern as they come, getting on top is not that easy but if the casino keep doing this and they are true to their commitment to the gambling community they will eventually land in the top when players that are playing on top casinos continuous to experience issues they will look for the next good casinos so new casinos should be competitive and do what other top casinos are doing.
1476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is your local game includes in online casino ? on: December 15, 2022, 02:23:11 PM
Do we have at least one local game that is popular now in one country integrated by popular game providers I think there's not one I know of and checking other members' posts there's no one posting because we are all gamblers and we want familiarity on games we are playing and will likely play on new games unless one provider install it and it becomes a popular game then all the other game providers will follow and install that local game.
1477  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of BITYX . COM Exchange Total scam lost 5100 $ in USDT & Bitcoin on: December 15, 2022, 12:09:56 PM
Your case is an example of how scammers can easily scam crypto traders with tempting offers. Perhaps you should be asking yourself why an exchange would let you sell bitcoins at a higher price than the market price. They let you withdraw a few times to build trust in them, and to make you willing to deposit large amounts of funds. Sorry for your loss. But thank you for making this Scam accusation about this matter. This thread will alert many crypto traders who run after such tempting offers.

Actually I and one of my friend had a good experience on another exchange I don’t remember which one but there a token price was UP as compared to others we found it from CoinMarketCap so we deposited and made some profit then price of token went down so that lead me to fall for this scam and yeah very dumb move, also trustpilot had some fake reviews on it and it was not flagged anywhere so I decided to post and now I know the same guy owns another exchange/website which is https://coinwan.net/ same UI same rates and same scam but this one is flagged already.

Scammers are spending money because they know the greed of people, they pay people to shill them, to give fake reviews, that's why you need to do research don't trust review sites like Trust Pilot, trust Bitcointalk and other platforms that are transparent in reviews, in fact, people should only trust Bitcointalk when looking for a reputation of any platforms that deal with money like casino and exchange.
The community will help you check if the platform is worth dealing with your money.
1478  Economy / Reputation / Re: REQUEST FOR ATTENTION OF: All 1xbit Signature Campaign Participants on: December 15, 2022, 09:04:38 AM

I think those forum members desperate enough through difficult situations in domestic life would possibly be tempted along with the sock-puppets and paid shills. I can understand the reasons why some would like to join this campaign and to a degree sympathise with them.

If the complaints against 1xbit drop to near zero and they openly try to clear backlogs of complaints they would be heading in the right direction but for a long time that has not been the case.

It's better to have a campaign and you have a good reputation here a two-month-long campaign cost is enough to settle at least 2 or 3 cases they have a long way because of too many scams accusations but if they are going to go with this one by one and settle those with small amounts they are on the way to regain the trust of the community, but they should end up zero complaints, they never know if one of the complaints will backfire and the authorities close their platform.
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Listen me and double your money 17 december (ufc bet) on: December 15, 2022, 06:40:39 AM
The next fight i researched and predicted is:

sean strickland vs jared cannonier

Odds

sean strickland 1.8

 jared cannonier 2.0

Jared ia going to win.

I rarely ever made wrong calls on mma fights like this that i take time and research.

Jared is going to won easy 2x money.

My bets prediction are muxh highers success rate than analyaists, ufc fighters themself whp predict fights.
I just got the skills to make analysis and predicy better than everyone else.
Is no arrogant is just the truth based on my results.

I'm also betting on Cannonier I like his killer instinct and aggressiveness, Strickland has a weak chin and also a weak defense he's too confident in his fight against Pereira imagine standing flat-footed against a hard-punching Pereira, Pereira only needs a left hook to knock the guy out and if he does this to Cannonier it's going to be over for him, if you are too confident on your predictions then why not pour it all out, lets see if your success rate will continue, what's your other bet come December 17
1480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proof Of Income Will This Pass on: December 14, 2022, 10:52:23 PM
Ok, suddenly the casino you're playing asks you for proof of income to be able to withdraw your winnings and to keep your account in good standing, your bankroll every month is $500 and you provide proof of salary that you are making $500 net every month, will they accept that proof will they accept that you are putting all your salary for gambling, will this violate the principle of gamble for fun, because you are working to gamble based on your proof income.

They will definitely accept that but not if you're salary is only $500 a month and you deposit $500 weekly that would make it questionable and the casino will ask you for more proof of income not only on your salary but other documents that will prove that you can sustain your bankroll and you are not working just to gamble, even if you're living with your parents there should be right allocation on all your basic needs.
