841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC will hit new high, as crypto bull billionaire predict on: August 07, 2023, 06:01:25 AM

Mike Novogratz an American investor who also known as crypto bull billionaire, said in an interview on Bloomberg TV “I think the most important thing that happened this year is bitcoin is Larry Fink.”

He is more popular as the guy who invested hugely in TerraLuna who just collapse and put a tattoo on his shoulder

I’m officially a Lunatic!!! Thanks @stablekwon And thank you my friends at Smith Street Tattoos. pic.twitter.com/2wfc00loDs

— Mike Novogratz (@novogratz) January 5, 2022

Well he just wants to make a noise again with this prediction but his prediction is not new we all know it's going to hit a new all-time high, he just riding the wave, Mike should just focus on Bitcoin, instead of promoting coins like Terra Luna again.
842  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why don't land-based casinos have an online version? on: August 07, 2023, 04:26:36 AM
Online casinos are getting more popular but land-based cater to specific markets, for example in Macau they go here as a tourist and a gambler at the same time.

In my country, our government operates the majority of land-based casinos since they are government-operated, it's also an income and job-generating industry so they prefer to concentrate on land-based compared to online casinos where they can employ a small number of people, and they have full control of its reputation.
843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: August 06, 2023, 03:47:32 PM
A certain young man after making his predictions placed his bet and his betting slip was printed to him then another gambler in the house approached him and asked to make a rebet of his games for himself but I was shocked when the young man refused with the excuse that he doesn't share his predictions that sharing it will make him lose his bet. More like having his luck to win reduce or changed maybe because the person he shared his games with could be someone with a bad luck on that day.

So why this belief or do you think it could be true? Or is it one of those superstitious belief among gamblers?
Do you feel cool sharing your predictions with other people and how has the outcome been looking at all the times you have shared your predictions with others?

That's a strange belief other gamblers are proud to show to the public their bets like Drake, I know many gamblers who are too showy and boastful about their bets, these people are confident and good at what they do but some gamblers are too superstitious many of them come from a country where they practice superstitions on every they do, they remember everything that brought them big winnings like the dress they wore, the time they bet and much other superstitious belief, but there's no harm in applying their belief it's their money anyway and they are happy doing that, so its mind your own business when it comes to betting.
844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 06, 2023, 01:14:18 PM

What is the benefits of gambling to your society?

Taxes for the government to sustain the economy's needs and entertainment for people who want to seek the thrill and the risk of betting on gambling, gambling is not for everybody but there are some sectors of society where there only means of getting entertainment is through gambling so the government legalizes gambling because the taxes these casinos are giving is good and they create jobs and create establishments around these casinos.
845  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: its a rumors but... on: August 06, 2023, 05:17:18 AM
I love bitcoin and i think its the best currency ever !! its helps !! it's fast and all of that but still I'm afraid of this DARK side of it

Can someone make me calm about it ? maybe i think too much or maybe im wrong please dont judge me.
Your opinion is no different from other people who think that Bitcoin is bad and those ignorant ones who think that Bitcoin is a scammer and just based it on hearsay, every good thing can be abused, and Bitcoin payment is no different from fiat being paid to scammers and hackers.
Bitcoin's positive features outweigh its negative features Bitcoin is transparent and decentralized because of its decentralization and no central authority its appealing to use in modern technology where the concept of freedom and transparency is what the generation wants.
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Anthony Joshua vs Dillian Whyte II on: August 06, 2023, 12:32:12 AM
And it was reported, that it will be Chisora that will replaced Whyte in this fight?

Not confirmed yet, but they need to find someone to replace the disgrace Dillian Whyte. And another British legend, David Haye said that Chisora called him about a week ago and says that Whyte is going to fail the drug test.

So let's see if this is going to be official or not.

It's now official Whyte is out and Joshua and DAZN need to find a replacement if Joshua wants to push for the date of the fight.

Quote
Matchroom Boxing announced Saturday morning that Whyte was removed from the heavyweight sequel after a random drug test as contracted through Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) “returned adverse analytical findings as part of a random anti-doping protocol.

“In light of this news, the fight will be cancelled, and a full investigation will be conducted.”

Chisora for me is not a good replacement the guy is done it's going to be easy work for Joshua, why not proceed with the Wilder fight and make it a winner-take-all fight, whoever losses should retire, both fighters want a way up and both are highly motivated to remain on top, this is a money-making fight after all they are the hottest item 4 years ago.

847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person who won 600k$ in lottery on: August 05, 2023, 02:36:22 PM

But as they say, a kind person is often abused. Because of his kindness, many people came forward and borrowed money. Because he can't say no, he gives the help that is asked of him. And over the years these debts were not paid to him. This caused disappointment and regret in his heart. Although he has goodness in his heart and intentions that are good for others, And this caused him resentment and sadness towards those who did not keep their promises to him.

In short, he became a victim of people who were arrogant towards others. And in an instant, his luck gradually disappeared as if he had become a withered vegetable, at the beginning he was happy with his success and the large amount of money he won. But with the passage of time and expenses careless decisions resulted in the loss of his wealth. he had expensive expenses such as buying a mansion house, cars and other properties.

This is one of the problems of lottery winners when people know that they've won a lottery those close to the winner feel that they've owned him and that the winner is obligated to share his blessing, if you are the kind that is kind-hearted you will give in to their request and demand.

Lottery winners should understand that even if he wins a huge amount of money they still have to keep or save for rainy days and minimize their expenses because there is a big temptation to overspend because of the urge coming from your relatives and friends, saving is challenging but educating yourself to be a good spender will save you in times of troubles in the future.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Claressa Shields Vs. Keith Thurman?! on: August 04, 2023, 03:00:51 PM
This is not going to happen I know Claressa is a good boxer but she doesn't know her boundaries there are no videos of her sparring with men so she doesn't know how hard men hit more than women

She only had 2 knocks out to her credit or 14.29%. while Thurman has 68.75% or 22 knocks out in his 30 wins shows she is going to beat Thurman, why not get a transgender first, this is not going to happen its unlikely, Claressa is making a big joke if he thinks he can beat Thurman.
849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: August 04, 2023, 12:36:12 PM

I am of the opinion that since gambling sites are mostly online and some has adds that pops up as advert on visited site, one should be able to disable or change their browser settings  by blocking casino adds and as well disabling  gambling sites on their browser settings so as not to gain access to it anymore till the number of days they deem fit to their resolve. This was just a little tip I gave as a possible solution. I had to put it up here for further discussions so that the bigger community can see it as  well.

This is ineffective if you are already a gambler, only good if you have not started gambling once you feel how is it to get excited playing and you have gone through the ups and down you'll go back and continue to play, ts when you resolve it to yourself that you are going to limit your time in gambling and allocate funds to gambling that's a real measure to stop gambling addiction, not disabling ads on your browser.

The urge will always be there especially when there were times that you really enjoy playing and you bought some pieces of stuff coming from your winning in gambling.
850  Economy / Gambling / Re: Free Condolence Bonuses to Betnomi victims on: August 04, 2023, 05:11:55 AM
This has never been done before like all the other members we are curious how will they know if the Betnomi users are qualified for this bonus, will they also accept inactive members and how they will differentiate the active players who are the real victims and the inactive as they did not give complete guidelines on the qualifications, memberships could go to thousands even if half of them take the bonus, let's see if this marketing ploy will become successful and if other casinos will employ this in the future.
851  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PST.NET IS A SCAM!! HOW I LOST $27,000 IN BTC. THREAD BELOW on: August 03, 2023, 03:16:01 PM

That is untrue and we take pride in our clear business model, and we strive to provide our users with the service of high quality and do not stop them if they decide to stop working with us.

We advise your friend to drop a message to our support as well to check the status of his/her withdrawal. The fastest way to do so is connect with us through our TG support account or TG bot (the latter is available 24/7)

To OP I'm not victim-blaming but this would not have happened if you are you are mindful of the transaction, you are holding and transacting big amounts so it should always be your habit to check and double-check, are you in a hurry when you transact?

To PSTNET I hope you are true to your world and that you will try to resolve the issueue, the money is not yours and mistakenly transfer based on OP's word, if he passed the verification and submitted the documents you can resolve the issue, you have more years to operate your business profitably and you can make more than the amount here.

I check your Whois information you are just starting out and your domain is extended up to 2029 so I'm sure you want to operate for many years with a clean record.

852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Promotional Material on: August 03, 2023, 01:13:27 PM
I saw this cartoon and thought it was pretty funny. It had me wondering if a real flyer like this existed that people could print out and put up in places. I’ve seen threads about stickers, so I’m sure there must be a thread with printable promotional material. Anybody got a link or maybe someone wants to help create cool printable stuff like this (talking about the flyer in the cartoon, not the cartoon itself).

You can check this one coming from

https://99bitcoins.com/a-collection-of-the-15-best-bitcoin-cartoons/ They have cool stuff for Bitcoin but since this is copyrighted and some that you can find online, you can post on the service and hire someone to create a Bitcoin flyer or do a contest, cartoon flyers are good promotional stuff to promote something it's some sort of reminders because Bitcoin is already popular.

I'm sure so many people have heard of it and cartoon flyers is a mean to check them out, a compelling cartoon with good motivation words will do the trick to promote Bitcoin to general masses.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Legality of Online Gambling in Different Countries on: August 03, 2023, 10:54:07 AM
I have always wondered why one country dont allow gambling, and there is always a neighbor country that fully allow gambling. Dont that country that does not allow feels pity when other country get more income tax? And I dont understand those countries who ban gambling. Like they get enough funds in budget to cover all their country needs. Licenses can be costly, but often gambling brings good profit to casino owners, so getting licenses isnt a problem. And speaking about gambling as a business, it shouldnt bring profit from very moment casino is opened.

It has something to do with religion and economic conditions, some countries especially in countries that can sustain themselves besides taxes most oil-rich countries do not need taxes coming from casinos and they want to protect their citizens from addiction, I'm living in a third-world country, where taxes from gambling sustain some sectors of our country.

Countries from the third world are the ones who need more money so taxes coming from gambling whether online or offline are a big help.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do wager affect outcomes in any provably fair games on: August 03, 2023, 04:34:35 AM
I noticed that when I start to play games like keno, limbo, dice, etc. First some bets don't hit and after wagering some percentage of my balance it starts to hit,
How many times did this thing happen, if it was only once consider this as a lucky stroke, nothing more than that it never happened to me, and you are the first gambler that posted this

Quote
How it works? like when we wager we have more probability to hit win, anyone noticed this? Do you know how it works and what is the calculation behind it?, do server sends outcomes by checking our wager?
You cannot be sure of your probability to win, you have a house edge to deal win you can win of course, but there's nothing to follow that will lead you to the pattern of winning, you will learn along the way that there's no pattern to follow you have to do a lot of variation and if you follow a pattern do not expect the result that you wanted.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Collective bets in local lotteries on: August 02, 2023, 02:38:22 PM
Would like to know your takes on betting as a group to raise chances in local
Lotteries

I know that mathematically the chances are still really low even if you multiply it 100x but in Brazil at least we’ve seen some local lottery prizes given for small groups of 20 or 30 people betting betting with 5000x tickets let’s say

If dreaming alone is cool dreaming in groups can be even better

I don't think it can be better, all ticket has a chance, and the group's chance is the same as all the other bettors even those with one ticket, we've read bettors who won on their first bets, so with this, I prefer to bet on my own no complication no agreement or terms and no issues when one of the group's ticket hit the jackpot and of course, you want to be anonymous when you hit the jackpot, something that will not happen if you are part of the group.
856  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com/us promo on: August 02, 2023, 12:08:44 PM
If you have $1,000,000
Wagered on either site in the last 7days there is still an active code for 1k drop.
Available codes to claim
1) code - millionwager
     Wager- 1000000$
     Drop -1k$
2)Code -yummylobster
    Wager -7.2k-4$
If this is news to you and you claim i wont say no more goodluck

It's not worth wagering $1 million to get a $1k airdrop no gambler will be motivated to wage $1 million, but if so happen that you reached wagering $1 million in the last 7 days its still good to claim that $1k but what's $1 k to $1 million its a fraction of the amount, but there are players who can wage $1 million even less than 7 days, an airdrop is an airdrop if you deserve to have it because of your action then its worth claiming it.
Many of us are dreaming to wager $1 million because it means a lot but I don't have a lot of money to challenge myself to wager to that amount.
857  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be careful with sharkoin.com !! Scammy and Shady Website with a very rude Owner on: August 02, 2023, 09:14:16 AM

Wow! You are trying to prove me a liar.  Grin
Only for you, here is a screenshot of my bitsler account. https://prnt.sc/Q60BbG64367v  https://prnt.sc/VK0cd7ghcANc https://prnt.sc/HFl4iC64AgPz
Please check the opening date. If you worked in a casino you would know that casino never banned any partners/ affiliated users account like that. But they did. Anyways I have nothing to say about it. They have done it according to their Tos, so let it be. I have learned it.

But please don't try to prove me a liar. I have never lied to anyone.

This is a vengeance because they did not allow you to withdraw your affiliate earnings, we all know that Casinos can change their terms of service anytime in regards to their affiliate, I don't have much information about Sharkcoin because they do not have an announcement thread here but the point of the argument is they are not scamming you they are just implementing what's on their terms if only you are an active user like you log in for at least twice a year then things will be different, you can lock this thread you have reached your goal letting people know what they did to you.
Although the majority disagree.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: *** Exploring Unique Advertising Opportunities in the Gambling Sector*** on: August 02, 2023, 07:38:15 AM

My idea is simple: Instead of relying on traditional advertising methods, why not explore the potential of direct advertising within the crypto gambling community? But here's the twist - instead of limiting this to crypto-focused platforms, we introduce these opportunities to a broader audience, such as the community at commonsensetv.nl.

Imagine a banner that not only promotes a crypto casino or service but also sparks a conversation about the potential of cryptocurrencies. Or a blog post that informs and entertains, subtly highlighting the benefits of a particular casino or game, while also educating readers about the broader implications of cryptocurrencies.

Based on this you want online casinos to advertise on your site which is a non Cryptocurrency platform you have to convince them that you can do better than Bitcointalk and casino reviews sites because these two platforms have proven their platform to generate lead and conversion, you can start by being an affiliate, casino affiliate programs are rewarding, if you have VIP referrals but to ask them to by an advertising package on your site which is not a casino based platform you need to have convincing power and show results, casinos will not spend money if they are not getting results.
859  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Customer Service Opportunity in the Crypto Space! Join our Growing Team! on: August 01, 2023, 03:15:26 PM
without clear details and only including a telegram link you will not be able to convince anyone to join your company. you should be able to provide more details on salary, whether you can work remotely, etc., so that it will be able to provide definite information to people who want to apply. if it's just short information related to job desc like this, I think people will think that you are not serious and ignore this thread.

I agree they should drop the link or the name of the project, they will get a lot of candidates if people know exactly what they are going to work for, there are a lot of dubious Cryptocurrency projects and they don't want to be part or working with projects that is dubious, I don't want to waste my time communicating with them I hope one of those interested who message OP through telegram link will drop the name of the project and what's the project all about.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: August 01, 2023, 01:50:48 PM

My main focus on this thread is in this question: as a gambler do you place your bet according to the weight of your financial need or you're always okay with whatever amount that comes out as potential win no matter how small amount?

Gambling is not a source of income, you are delusional if you think it is, yes you can win a couple of times but you cannot keep up and continue your winning, the house always has the edge if you keep holding on to this belief that gambling can provide your financial need you are in big trouble.
Know your limitation and the fact about gambling and hold on to these beliefs, don't go on your boundary stay with it and you will be fine all your life.
