1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POWERcoin block found but didnt get paid for it wtf on: May 22, 2013, 06:27:17 PM
so i was solo mining and found a block but right after my f****ng internet disconnected. and now i see 1 transaction but 0.00 PWC how do i get it back

Probably an orphan block. Your net disconnect was just a coincidence.

WDC is more profitable.
1742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] *** New Exchange With lot of Cryptos *** https://www.cryptsy.com/ *** on: May 22, 2013, 06:25:28 PM
Isn't there some kind of bug ?
I see a huge spike on PWC/BTC had several sell order on the way and none have been executed

Nobody wants PWC?
1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FREE PWC] PowerCoin Explosion. FEEL THE POWER! **UPDATED GET EVEN MORE COINS!** on: May 22, 2013, 03:54:18 PM
Well, almost all the PWC threads are buried again, as it should be
1744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coinchoose authors - please correct the data for PWC on: May 22, 2013, 02:20:18 PM
Wait, what? You mean PWC isn't actually 1500% profitable?

NWO, you aren't fooling anyone with more of your lies. you haven't made any posts in a week, and you all of a sudden appear, to exploit an obvious bug.
1745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Every single point PWC haters repeated ad nauseam proved to be wrong on: May 22, 2013, 01:08:44 PM
Hydro-poo-nica: Can you at least admit that you were wrong about "nobody buying" and "no exchange ever"? Do you have enough intellectual honesty to admit it?

Now you claim a new thing. You keep changing your claims.

I will save this third claim and will come back to you in a week or two, to prove you PWC wasn't a one-day hype. You will be proven wrong the third time.

I almost feel bad for you Cheesy You're getting owned too much

PWC was dead and buried, until a bug, caused by the PWC client, ironically enough, brought it back to life, temporarily. Cryptsy, is not a credible exchange. the only people who disagree, are owners of PWC. I haven't been wrong about anything. Your LTC Clone, got lucky.
1746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Every single point PWC haters repeated ad nauseam proved to be wrong on: May 22, 2013, 12:38:52 PM
1) Hydroponica trolled 4 hours a day about how "PWC will never see an exchange"

2) Hydroponica and TruCoin (the guy who spreaded viruses in his scamcoin release) kept saying how "nobody is buying PowerCoin, at all, there are only sell orders"

You can clearly see the price is slowly - but steadily - rising. How many other coins can claim that right now? And PWC is brand new ...

Look at the BUY ORDERS window. Does it look like "no buys" to you? Yes, there are 4 pages of them you can scroll down on Cryptsy.

I wonder how embarrassed must Hydroponica feel for being wrong about things he spent hours every day repeating over and over  Cheesy

Look at the volumes for trades, over the last hour, my friend. Low volume trades, indicate people pulling out. Cashing out small ammounts from pools, and moving on. A bug in Chosecoin, caused a hype. Bug fixed, hype over... Wink
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PowerCoin PWC 1500%+ Profitability!! on: May 22, 2013, 12:34:05 PM
Look at the vloumes of trades, in the last hour, 6.8, 6.2, 6.8, 7.2...These are indicators, of people cashing out of pools, dumping it while they can, and moving on to mining something else Wink
1748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PowerCoin PWC 1500%+ Profitability!! on: May 22, 2013, 12:30:24 PM
I've been using this pool: http://next.afraid.org:8113 for some time, this one works well.

The pool is there will need some MH/s to be competitive. Now powercoin has a hashrate around 230MH/s this is huge.
That is no where near huge.

Two days ago powercoin was far from a full hashrate of  230MH/s... But now, that has changed...

The death on arrival on the server (http://next.afraid.org:8113) increase, using cgminer with parameters --queue 0 -s 1 will improve efficiency.

Still not paying attention, so, here, 1 more time;

Quote
Have you not been paying attention? It increased due to a combination of a Choosecoin bug, and a mass lack of common sense. Bug fixed, buh-bye powercoin..

Bug like this, may help this currency to become known, and interesting. Who knows...

I know, that the next diff increase, should drop PWC below 100% profitability, which is ussually, historically, the great coin killer...We shall see Wink
1749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy BTC withdrawal fee .01 BTC. Seriously ??? on: May 22, 2013, 12:28:51 PM
Do these guys think they are BTC-E ? Not going to make any further us of the site until this is corrected.  Gross to have to pay $1.20 or so for a simple withdrawal action.

BTER, a much more established exchange, only charges .001 BTC per withdrawal

A key reason I rarely use BTC-E, despite its robustness and entertaining troll box, is that withdrawal fee

I'd call that a stupid tax, for bothering with fails coins to begin with Roll Eyes

There should be a "troll tax" for this forum - people who never contribute anything useful and their post count is purely from useless spammy troll posts, should pay a fee.
What do you think about that, Hydro?  Wink

YOLO, seems to be today's theme Wink
1750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please someone help me..... my head is going around and around on: May 22, 2013, 12:27:45 PM
Anyway, we haven't seen any new coin since Monday launch of PXCs. This is quiet...   Cool

With the launch of Cryptsy, and it's acceptance of shit coins, I fear a storm is coming...

The premine has all been used for bounties and giveaways, and you are the guy who asked for a bribe not to expose the premine (when it was always supposed to be used the way it was)... The bter mishap was already explained. And 1500% happened at the beggining of cryptsy exchange (some trades at 0.00017 and up, while difficulty was still low), after that it was indeed wrong.

Doesn't matter whether he gave it away or not (nobody can check that also). What matters is that he lied about every single instance, and kept true to his lie until it was undeniably proven to be a lie.

- NWO promised multiple times there was no pre-mine at all, kept on insisting until the proof was posted
- NWO promisted multiple times it would be on bter, kept on insisting until a bter dev actually told it was BS
- NWO now insists that this shit has 1500% profitability when it was never that profitable

All proven to be lies.

You left out the second time he lied about an echange, to keep his coin alive

This kind of discussion going around this forums helps no coins, be it WDC, PWC or any other alt coin.
Why someone puts so many effort in trying to descredit a coin is beyond me

This is not about discrediting a coin, and if any, NWO is the only one who discredits his coin by posting continuous lies.

PWC was never at 1500% profitability, only a bug in coinchoose made it show like that. Yet NWO purposely and willingly claimed it was. The continuous lies being spread by NWO ("no premine" "bter exchange confirmed within a week" <<-- multiple times, and now 1500% profitability) discredit PWC more than any user here does.

It's about uncovering the truth and warning other members before they get involved with a coin that's surrounded by lies made by the dev.

Riiiiiiight, so the 29k PWC for sale came from somewhere else Roll Eyes

coinchoose is wrong most of the time! do your own check up and math. coinchoose is biased toward hyped scam coins.

How is it wrong (aside from this bug)?  Always looking to improve, but need to understand.

I might recommend having a stricter policy on which exchanges you accept as input for your calculations.
Perhaps more established ones, minimum volume, etc.
But defiantly not an exchange 24 hrs old with low volume. I think that may cause people to loose faith in your data.

But I do like your charts sir.

I agree. This isn't the first issue with  a Cryptsy calculation. With such a low member base, it is very easy for anyone to manipulate the numbers.

coinchoose.com has fixed the error. Still not bad, but pwc has no decent pools so it's a pita at the moment.

lol, the error was the reason people went back to mining it. Very soon, it will be back at the bottom, with the rest of the fail coins
