761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MasterCoin [MST] The master of all alt coins!! on: July 01, 2013, 12:48:11 AM
Oh, and then there's the fact, that this is indeed, actually my coin. This was a test coin, to learn the ins and outs of creating and releasing a coin. I'd rather experience failure on my clone coin, than the actual coin I'ce been developing over the last month.
All in all, it has been a learning experience. As far as launches go, I feel mine was pretty flawless. The only failure here, was the lack of interest, due to the fact, that this is a pure clone coin.

Lets not forget the *cough*artificial*cough* dumping as well  Wink

We haven't pumped the coin for a while, what you are seeing currently is natural buy support not our doing.

Take heed people, keep your heads cool. We aren't idle here Smiley

(I've been working for almost 3 days straight, so believe me we are trying our best and are in fact on schedule)

Thanks for all the hard work you're doing. The updated client you sent is looking and running great!

Oh wait, that's right, you have me on ignore, like a fucking pussy Roll Eyes

764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!! Honestly Alt. Coin Community ? Look at what your doing! on: June 30, 2013, 11:41:25 PM
I wish everyone the best on their respective projects.

There are my sentiments as well. I think Goldcoin (GLD) has a bright future too!  Smiley

Yeah, but you're an idiot, so.....
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!! Honestly Alt. Coin Community ? Look at what your doing! on: June 30, 2013, 11:41:07 PM
I have a coin, ready to release, and it has some real merit, but I can't release it, because it won't be taken seriously, among all these shit coins. BTC, LTC, and DGC. The only coins with a future. And I believe that DGC will eventually surpass LTC.
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [RED] REDCOIN - With bonus blocks and super blocks [OFFICIAL LAUNCH] on: June 30, 2013, 11:39:06 PM
Oh wow, super blocks. Man, good idea, GLD is doing so well, it's super smart, to copy their idea Roll Eyes
767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Coin (GLD) Info Thread - The Future of Digital Currency [NEW THREAD] on: June 30, 2013, 11:37:20 PM
It sure has fallen to the floor... But I am sure it will recover quickly, like always.. Great time to buy cheap!

It will recover on the long term.
Sorry buddy, but when I dump my 3 million coins, it will drive the price to .000000001 LTC

Even if you had 3million why would you dump at this price! You would just lose money that way... Or you want to see this coin suffer, which is maybe priceless for you?

He premined these 3 million coins...He didn't buy them...How exactly is he losing money? Ofcourse he wants to see GLD suffer. He, like 99.9% of the people in this community, can't stand MicroGuy.
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Coin (GLD) Info Thread - The Future of Digital Currency [NEW THREAD] on: June 30, 2013, 11:29:06 PM
Hello whats up with the founder of GLD ? He was kicked by you ? Whats up with the future of GLD ?

Great question!  Grin

The last dev sold us the GLD domain for 1BTC because he did not have enough time to work on the project. He was not "kicked".

Then he was paid another 1BTC under the alias of Hyoshi for doing dev work for the community. Of course at the time we did not know that these two people were in fact a single individual using (at minimum) triple identities. Basically he was getting paid left and right while operating under different assumed names. Then while using this Hyoshi alias (he's also apparently thekidcoin) he again indicated in a public post that he didn't have time to to work on the project:

https://www.gldtalk.org/index.php?topic=63.msg923#msg923

It was after that statement that we realized for sure we needed to secure additional developers if we wanted a stable and reliable team. The good news is I now believe to know the real life identity of this individual who is being sought by other interested parties. I am currently refusing to participate in the prosecution of this individual but must admit my patience is wearing thin.

We have now assembled a solid reliable dev team of three professionals led my akumaburn and will be releasing a fork soon. The fork will fix several bugs including the litecoin alert, the client sync issue, and the coin generation bug. The fix will also reduce annual coin output and cap supply.

You can read more about the upcoming update here: https://www.gldtalk.org/index.php?topic=157.0

Rest assured we are working day and night for the betterment of this coin. Thank you and I hope this helps answer your questions.

You can't prosecute someone, for not using their own name on the interwebz. And Interpol would laugh their asses off, if you try to tell them, this guy scammed you out of imaginary internet money. You may as well tell them, someone scammed you in Undercity, for 1000 WoW Gold, or, someone in Icecrown, needed, when they should have greeded.. Man you are an idiot. And hunting down someone's real life identity, over your fail coin, is pretty psychotic. Get a fucking life.

And seriously? Your going to lower block reward? So, you guys got your millions of coins a piece, and now you plan on making it harder for new comers, to mine coins? Great idea, that won't kill any microscopic chance your coin had of succeeding Roll Eyes
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CosmosCoin is the most innovative coin all over the other alt coins on: June 29, 2013, 12:09:38 PM
What a stupid fucking name for a coin
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Coin (GLD) Info Thread - The Future of Digital Currency [NEW THREAD] on: June 28, 2013, 05:44:50 PM
Hi guys I am a miner since 500block time was coming. I am mining solo atm because vircupool does not give me the expected coins per day. I think the prices atm went down because cryptsy was offline and nobody was trading. It will go higher since more people know thats online now again. I suggest to make an own website for my germany community to know this coin better and to better promote it. I see one of the big problem with GLD is that it has got to make fake websites and forum, people dont know where to look at for information. But now the official Website is out now gldcoin.com its better now and nobody has to search for the GLD Program Files, but on this website there is a standard template with no other information and history of this coin. All Updates has to go to the official Site!!!!

Watch this space. The website is going to updated very shortly, within the next week with a complete history of the coin, it's goals and also features and advantages of the coin. Thank you for your support.
I am the history of this coin.

You want the real history of the coin?  Believe me, its not a great story.

Oh please, do tell.
Man, I wish I could have 2 avatars.
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Coin (GLD) Info Thread - The Future of Digital Currency [NEW THREAD] on: June 28, 2013, 01:43:01 PM
Drama coin. you guys are fucked.
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Problem installing dependencies for Linux on: June 28, 2013, 10:59:11 AM
I'm having issues with this command on Ubuntu Server;

Code:
$sudo apt-get install build-essential libboost-dev libdb4.8-dev libopenssl-dev libdb++-dev git qt-sdk

More specific, this part;

Code:
libopenssl-dev

Keeps saying it can't find it, or something. So, when I try to compile, I get a lot of Open SSL errors.
Any suggestions?

Public forums, brother. Stealing imaginary internet money is one thing, but identity theft, that's a major felony.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Coin (GLD) Info Thread - The Future of Digital Currency [NEW THREAD] on: June 27, 2013, 11:08:28 PM

So far, there are only 3 coins that are any good at all.

1- Bitcoins

2- Litecoins

3- Goldcoins

See previous response

Keep the Goldcoin faith brothers and sisters, and the almighty will bring us into the promised land.

Oh shut up, idiot
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Gold Coin - Stronger, Faster, Tyrant Free - July 4, 2013 Independence Day on: June 27, 2013, 07:37:56 PM
More junk, same name as failed coin, better coins already out there... Self moderated post, tells all. Pass

Normally, I'm against self moderated forums threads, but with fanatic lunatics like Just_Me and MicroGuy, supporting the original (stolen) GoldCoin, I can't say I blame the guy
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Gold Coin - Stronger, Faster, Tyrant Free - July 4, 2013 Independence Day on: June 27, 2013, 07:17:11 PM
Nice coin man. Love the reasonable block reward. anything over 50 is stupid. I'd like to see a block time around 40 seconds. And maybe a diff that adjusts every block, that way, you'll get around the early insta mine, but still be able to mine the genesis block quicker.
Oh, and very awesome avatar.
Fuck you, Microguy.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for an guide on: June 27, 2013, 11:59:06 AM

779  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Newest scam in town! on: June 27, 2013, 11:49:25 AM
have you ever thrown a coin?

This is not roulette. Look at the payout structure.

I just thought people would like to know.

(BTW I wouldn't consider getting back 50% of your wager winning)

Oh, and I hereby invite you to play if you think it's such a good deal...

Its called gambling. The house always wins, idiot Roll Eyes
I don't gamble, because I don't like to lose. You always lose, more than you win, that's how they make money.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Coin (GLD) Info Thread - The Future of Digital Currency [NEW THREAD] on: June 27, 2013, 11:48:01 AM
The July release will fix the annoying Litecoin alert as stated previously. Is will also resolve the client sync issues.
