The actual problem is continued miner incentive...Some people seem to think that the majority of miners are motivated by something other than profit.
It will require decent value and market acceptance when you hit the last reward block.

Too many coins, way too quickly. If this ever hit an exchange, the dump would be pf biblical proportions. You know those first blocks, of 5K? Yeah, those were snagged up by bot nets...

So if I understand correctly, after a week or so, all 10k coins will be mined, and no one will be mining these "barcoins" anymore ... how do you expect to validate your transactions then ? ^^ (no miners = no new blocks)

hmmmm yes good question, i guess he only made for example and never expected anyone to actually start mining it. Perhaps a fix can be made, now just mined 10, that's 0.1% of all possible coins. When people consolidate all their bitcoin wealth into barcoins i should still make a good chunk. Or, seeing as how this coin was never actually launched, and was never intended to launch, people can stop being stupid, and take it for what it is |

Does something like this exist? It seems pretty easy to create a wallet that can store all coins. When new ones pop-up just add it into the existing wallet -etc.

I have never denied and have acknowledged this several times.
Pre-mine spent open, yet people mine several coins with pre-mines of over 7 mil without disclosure.
Not bad for 1% you get support, website, social media, pool 2 pools, Dice games, block explorer, wiki, Facebook, Twitter, social interaction and a coin that confirms quick and stable.

I like the idea that Nibble has for launches, but despite the flaws with WDC's launch, the fact that it gets the coins out into the wild faster makes it much more likely to be adopted. Plus Nibble's block time is the same speed as Litecoin. The big reason why Worldcoin is winning people over is the block time, and the fact that they can send/receive funds literally in less than a minute

Actually man, other than the sorta large block sizes, I don't see much wrong with this coin. Transactions should be nice and quick, difficulty should adjust nicely...Just so many coins...I'll throw a card at it though. |
