1741  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ANN] OPENDIME v2 – Now *Genuine Verified* Bitcoin Credit Stick (in stock!) on: July 02, 2017, 02:14:19 PM
So, you are creating a coin and a blockchain where only the software itself has the private keys, assuming that the devs have not given themselves access.  It is one thing when an online wallet or exchange gets stupid about controlling the keys to your wallets, but what you are talking about is zero control, zero failure fallback and an outright Skynet wallet that will not take over the world, just simply not give you any control.
I'm sorry posternat, but what are you talking about? This is not some kind of Altcoin project nor is a new coin or blockchain being created. This is a Bitcoin Hardware "Wallet" that generates a private key when it's inserted for first time into a computer, which means that the creators do not have access to it as it's generated on your computer. Yes, if you lose your OPENDIME, you lose your Bitcoins, so just keep it in a safe place.

Is there any chance you could use BitcoinAverage for the Bitcoin Price? I highly prefer it over anything else.

Also, I just noticed that 1.6 has been released, I think I'm still running 1.4, lol. Need to update! Roll Eyes

Thanks for confirming that you received it TMAN. Yeah, it seems that it really undersold, but what can you do? Such is life.

Closing this thread for now as the sale has been finalised.

devthedev hasn't been around for ages. Do not trust anyone on Skype unless they can provide a valid signed message from the address specified in devthedev's profile (UID 136592). Be sure to share it with us so we can verify it as well, before you do anything and be on the lookout for fake URL's and people impersonating devthedev by slightly changing the username (example: devthedev`).

Scammers are everywhere, especially on Telegram and Skype.

1754  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 19-Jun-2017] on: June 20, 2017, 10:33:08 AM
Civic is actually still PNYC but they are already full Smiley
People expect campaigns to have available slots in PNYC. They don't really care if a signature campaign has paid yet, they just want to be sure that if they click on a campaign that it's not full. Tongue

It's full so it should be in CFNP and that's how it has been for ages (or at least should have been).
1755  Other / Archival / Re: . on: June 20, 2017, 06:40:11 AM
It's actually a fascinating innovation in coin making, I can't think of another type of coin where the inherent value (in gold, BTC or whatever) has a probability component. That it is a coin in the form of a cereal box is just funny.
Well, this idea itself isn't that unique, as it has been done by others, for example, the Microsoul lucky coins. It was a physical coin with either 0.01BTC or 1BTC loaded on them, but you don't know until you destroy the hologram protecting the private key.

Still, this is quite unique, nice catch minerjones!
1756  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] 1/10 OZ silver bitcoin coin X28 on: June 19, 2017, 06:49:50 PM
auction is closed,

minerjones won 1 @ .004 btc
I'm willing to buy one for 0.005BTC if you include them in minerjones' package. Grin

OP has been updated.

Dao.Casino campaign got ended after 1 week. -stupid snarky emoticon-
Civic Campaign is full now and not accepting new members.
Please update ChipMixer. The payment has increased to 0.00075BTC, from 0.0007BTC.
Applied these changes to the OP as well.
