I already feel that situation countless time. After waiting for months we got nothing from our work as bounty hunter. Sometimes bounty hunters dump the price after listing. The price will drop and mostly need a lot time to recover. But if you lucky you will get a lot of profits.
I agree that a lot depends on luck, but also on the quality of the project and the market situation. I invested and joined as bounty hunter in many ICO which has good concept, experienced team members and also good hype but after listing price drops very much. Some of project also not recovering since long time. Any comment.
As a bounty hunter you should to know that right after listing on exchange all rewards from bounty campaigns, participants sell. The problem is that if ICO want to collect enough funds need advertisement, so they need to allocate huge amounts for bounty campaign. The more they allocate for bounty hunters, the more it will be sold right after the ICO is finished and the more the price will go down. Of course, the bear market also helps a lot in this drops.. |

I constantly here people say " Only invest what you can afford to lose" Well no matter where your wealth is it could crash.
-Invest in USD- USA could collapse and experience mass inflation making your dollars nearly worthless
-Invest in Bonds- Government could collapse making your bonds worthless
-Invest in real estate- Housing prices could crash, natural disaster could hit and insurance company could go bankrupt
-Invest in metals- prices could crash, asteroid mining could collapse prices
Your money is never 100% safe no matter where it is invested.
As you wrote - all this is an investment and you can lose on every investment. They differ is mainly in the level of risk and a possible profit, and of course subject. So words "Only invest what you can afford to lose" relate to each of the investments listed by you. To be honest, I would like to know the investment without risk.. |

We are in a situation where we can not be sure of anything at 100%. The whole market is bleeding and most of the players are panicking. Panic is understandable with such huge price drops. This is the behavior of markets where the investment risk is very high. Always in such situations, try to stay calm, because sooner or later the price will start to grow, and then we can regret decisions taken in panic. It's happening before so we should learn our mistakes from the past if we like to change something in the future. So HODL is the only key to succeed in this bearish market. Don't get affected with the FUD as long as you control your emotion no one can change your decision to HODL and this is the only way to avoid of losing. That's exactly what I meant. Such huge price drops probably surprised everyone. I did not expect the ETH price to drop below $300 and today we have $120  I strongly believe that it will not be worse anymore and now the price will only increase. But even if it fell even more, I will definitely not sell anything. |

I think your prediction is very true for the time being. I thought I still had the opportunity to get rich in this market but I lost everything and even now I owe more. I am really disappointed and maybe I have to find another job to sustain my life. This market is very corrupt. Atleast open your eyes now and never ever get into this kinda ponzi schemes. From my investigation in November 2017 it was proved some people just lured the innocent people into this kinda scheme and showed it will increase by 10 folds. My inside sources gave me the info that those people had made lot of profit and are getting out from bitcoin in Jan. So, I warned people by this thread and it atleast controlled the damage and many people who believed me got out of it with profits. So, please take the word of a wise man as a gospel. But you are talking about some scammers who created the Ponzi scheme - go and report it to the police. This has nothing to do with Bitcoin and the free market on which supply and demand rules. The same happens with share prices on Wall Street. Of course, there are manipulations, but anyone who starts to play on such a market should know about the risk. |
