1301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Far from possible but let's just say on: October 25, 2021, 11:24:14 PM
Let's just say you woke up one morning and you noticed that something odd is up with BTC and you look closer only to realise that BTC is down to 1$ meaning it's dead to many, would you still decide to buy some or you will exit crypto space instantly

I believe blockchain is a great technology and it will surely be a success. If the price of Bitcoin fell to $1, it would not be a coincidence and the first thing I would do was a very good research why it happened.
Such a large drop would certainly be a disaster for the entire cryptocurrency market, but if the reason for such a drop were not very serious, I think I would still invest in cryptocurrencies.
1302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon doesn't own Shiba? on: October 25, 2021, 11:04:01 PM
Probably another trick in Elon Musk book, (1) if someone ask him how much "x" cryptocurrency he owns, he will say no (2) it will have a domino effect on that "x" coins pulling the price down (3) Elon Musk buy a ton (4) change his stance and he said he bought some (5) the price spike, (6) more money again for him.

So for me I wouldn't bother to read his tweet or whatsnot. We should decide for ourselves and not blindly listen to any crypto influencer, not only Elon Musk.

I really like your ecenario. In your opinion, we should now buy SHIBA and wait for Elon Musk's new tweet, but this time with positive news for SHIBA.
I think this idea is worth risking a few bucks Smiley
If there is a positive tweet about SHIBA on Musk's profile, I will ask you for your BTC address to transfer some satoshi Wink
1303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon doesn't own Shiba? on: October 25, 2021, 10:41:14 PM
.... despite being a highly influential figure for that community.

It's their fault for assuming that he may be interested with Shiba. These people should have known better not to use the most influential people in the crypto space in their attempt to market their token. It happened with Vitalik and now with Elon. They can start over again now that things are clear.

The marketing team took the risk by asking Elon Musk about it. I think they realized what the consequences could be. In my opinion, they made this decision fully consciously. They probably counted on a positive turn of events and a huge increase in price, as in the case of DOGE. Unfortunately, they were wrong. Now they will have to work a lot more to improve SHIBA's image. As we can see, it's not worth taking shortcuts.
1304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon doesn't own Shiba? on: October 25, 2021, 10:19:50 PM
I found a news that the Shiba Inu commuity is not happy with Elon Musk. $SHIB crashed after Musk revealed he didn’t own it and only had BTC, ETH and DOGE. Elon Musk has a Shiba Inu puppy at home. Elon Musk has joked about Shiba Inu, but Elon Musk doesn’t hodl Shiba Inu.

Replying to one of the many Shiba Inu accounts on Crypto Twitter, the famous Elon Musk confirmed that he didn’t own Shiba Inu, despite being a highly influential figure for that community.

I think this will have an effect with the Shiba price but not a big effect because Shiba is still at 0.000042$ at price even if Elon musk revealed he doesn't own Shiba what was your thoughts on this folks?

Investors in SHIBA or even the dev team itself cannot blame Elon Musk, because it was not his idea to talk about it.
It was the marketing team of SHIBA who asked Elon Musk how much SHIBA he have and he replied "none":
Unfortunately, it looks like it was just a marketing team's mistake.

1305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Issue of fixed Matches on: October 25, 2021, 09:54:54 PM
I doubt that they know the result before the start of the match, most likely they make several predictions and then delete the unsuccessful ones. I think if you follow these channels more closely, you can catch them on this. All these scammers use the same algorithms. If they really knew something, they could profit from it without any sales of this information.

I know they would not sell it and profit from it, but there are some gambling tipsters who also promote them for the sake of either money or cross promotion. Using quick telegram users generation bots as an alternative, these tipsters make newbies to think that they are giving real fixed matches and helping their members earn the promised values which makes it easier for the owners of those channels to scam the innocent people.
That is the main reason it is 90% fraud if someone sends pm first on social media, Telegram users are a special target for scammers since they easily filter the groups and find potential victims. Fixed matches are sold for huge amount not for the few hundred dollars and it is usually known to buyers 15 min before the match according to real seller on Dark Web  I found once:)
Why do they reveal it so late? It shouldn't be easy to place big bets only 15 minutes before the beginning of the match, then it doesn't seem to worth such expensive prices. Moreover I don't think this kind of guy refund his customers if the expected outcome doesn't happen.
You should analyze the whole situation, it is not only about the turnover and timeframe.. Do a small research and you will find what kind of tricks are there to "rig" the result...
Sometimes, the single-player on the match can be "bought" with expensive deals and the sellers gonna sell yellow card fixtures for the dealers...
No matter what that player will do anything to get a yellow card by the referee and it shouldn't be a hard-to-find bookie that accepts this kind of bets...

I get the feeling that when we talk about a fixed match everyone thinks about the overall result of the game.
However, you have noticed a very important thing. After all, it is enough for a player to be paid for causing some event.

I remember once someone bet a very large amount on the fact that during a match a naked person would run onto the pitch. Then he ran naked to the stadium himself.

I am sure that there were many more such cases.
1306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand the market in advance on: October 25, 2021, 09:27:47 PM
In fact in cryptocurrency no advance can be considered. Especially in the case of trading, nothing can be matched by analyzing in advance. And although analysis can be done, yes it is not 100% accurate In fact, it is very difficult to say when the price of a coin will increase a lot. After some adequate analysis, some ideas may be taken.

You can only speculate to what may possibly happen to the coin's market, but it is quite difficult to predict accurately what's gonna happen. Even if you are very familiar with the project, one good news or bad news, it can easily affect its trend in the market. And sometimes, you won't know that coming because most of the time it is just a spur-of-the-moment type thing.
But if you are focusing your interest to some specific coins and know the small details of their development progress, if there's any, you will only get the idea where they are heading but not exactly how they will perform in the market. So yes, this task is hard as you have no fix factors that you can refer to, it changes with time.
There's no such thing about 100% accuracy on this market or any market you do tend to deal with because price could move because of several factors.

1. Demand
2. Manipulation
3. Trend

This isnt something that you could take grasp or would know in advance since we are just humans.
If this market turns out to be predictable then we wont really be seeing this on point
because everybody is making money. hehehe

If all this could be foreseen, we would all be rich Smiley) Unfortunately, this is a financial market similar to the classic stock exchange, so there are bull runs and bear markets.
However, we can try to be guided by the sentiments on the market and even what users write on this forum. If someone is carefully browsing Bitcointalk, it can be easily seen that now most of the posts are very positive, so it can be concluded that prices will continue to rise.
1307  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: October 25, 2021, 08:56:35 PM
With the affiliate issue, nothing, not users, not affiliates, no transactions (deposits) are allowed on the old platform.
That means we are not benefiting in any way from the old platform.

However, we are working on a compensation plan for our previous affiliates to help them get a head start on the new platform.
An announcement will be made regarding this when everything is ready.

I don't know if I understood correctly ..
The fact that for the last two months you have not made any profits from the old platform and therefore the affiliate program bonuses will not be paid for this period, I can understand.
But does what you declare also mean that all referrals that were registered on the old platform will not be transferred to the new one? And all the work of acquiring referrals done by affiliate program members on old platform will be wasted?
1308  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on a recovery mode on: October 25, 2021, 08:19:46 PM
Following the sharp sell-off on Tuesday where the bitcoin price drops with a 10% negative movement which sees the price of Bitcoin from above 52,000 to 46,000, which is a 10% sharp dropped, the entire crypto market has suffered from the crash in price. But as of Thursday afternoon, the bitcoin market has shown some sign of recovery where the price is heading to 47k the highest since the crash.
I think bitcoin has been showing a recovery mode till now after having a sharp decline after China spread a lot of FUD news during last september. The price of bitcoin is experiencing a sharp rise today where the price has touched the level of $66k which is the new ATH. This year bitcoin has reached 2x ATH

Bitcoin price will recovery again. The situation in the entire cryptocurrency market is still very positive even despite the negative news from China. Bitcoin is already too powerful a financial tool for one country, even as big as China, to manipulate it. I am sure we will see at least one more ATH this year.
1309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Issue of fixed Matches on: October 23, 2021, 08:15:00 AM
In my opinion, fixed matches can only happen in low leagues and some niche sporting events, such as boxing matches at the amateur level or very early stages of the career. I don't think anyone will risk fixing maches in major leagues or at international level events. That is why I only bet on large events and main leagues where the risk of such a situation is almost zero.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is more rewarding: IDO, Long-term Holding or Day Trading? on: October 23, 2021, 07:52:53 AM
As an investor and trader myself, I observed that early investment in very good coins such as IDO/IEO or buying promising tokens cheaply and holding for long term is more rewarding in terms of ROI than day trading, especially when you don't have large funds.

Most day traders take profits immediately when their daily target is met, which could be a single digit percentage ROI. Whereas some coins can give ×1000 just for holding for a couple of months. Take for instance AXS, Shiba Inu, Doge, Flow, Elon, FTM, SOL, among others. I have bought some of these tokens in large quantities for day trading before and sold for 5% profit.

Imagine I just hold for a couple of months what my ROI would have been?

So in my opinion, Holding trumps day trading for massive ROI.

What's your take on this?

I think there are coins / tokens that are more suitable for investing and hodl as well as those that are suitable for trading. Hodl is not always profitable. Now we are in the bull run, but when the bear market starts and it lasts for a long time, hodling will not be so attractive to many people and then the trading will be more profitable.
I think the best thing is just to divide your funds appropriately into hodl and trading.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: price of CAKE $50 realistic? on: October 23, 2021, 07:31:07 AM
Yes, I too am waiting for when I can buy a coin at a lower price, $15 is the best price for me. Despite the small yield, I continue to keep money in the pool.
For a price of $15 it is very unlikely that you will get it because Cake is a live coin and has been favored by traders in the short term, and also in the long term, because the Cake exchange itself has always run very smoothly in cryptocurrencies.

The correction of the entire cryptocurrency market can be deep, so $15 for CAKE is possible. And I also think it's a very good price to buy, as long as it's not the end of the bull run. If we stay in an uptrend, it is only a matter of time when CAKE reaches $50.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice machine on: October 22, 2021, 12:57:34 AM
Dice have been one of my favorite gambling game and am thinking of installing a dicing machine in my home just for fun, my 17 years old son is good in playing computer games and am thinking of introducing him to gambling after all he is going to learn it whatever ways if I don't teach him how to handle gambling risk and avoid being addicted. The need to have a dicing machine at home becomes paramount and am wondering which dice machine I can go for?

Are you sure that at such a young age your son is ready to start gambling? I'm sure your intentions are right, but the mind of a person so young may not be able to handle it. In my opinion, this is too much of a risk to practically teach him to play. Maybe start with the theory at the beginning, and then teach him to practice.

Are there any preparations before entering gambling? Gambling is already part of the society and regardless if there's a restriction or not that parents will apply to their young ones, these kids will still encounter gambling. 17 years of age isn't already a young age to enter the world of gambling. They somehow have that matured mind to know what's the best thing to do.

As for OP's choosing of dice machine to fulfill his fun, go to Amazon or your local online shop to see a good dice machine lol. Check reviews or you can also create a DIY. Just check Youtube for it. (if OP is really serious here)

Of course, it is up to parents to allow their child to gamble. However, everyone may have their own opinion on what is the best age to introduce gambling to a child. I think everyone will agree that 10 years or even 14 years is definitely too early. When it comes to 17, opinions may be divided, but in my opinion it is still too early.

You missed my question, are there any preparations before entering gambling? You asked OP if such a 17-year-old is ready to start gambling. Do you think 25 years of age are more prepared compared to 17 years of age?

Age is not a basis but the ability of that person to know what's wrong or right. It doesn't mean that a person within 17 years of age are not prepared and 25 or we go straight on 30 years are more matured.

I have no doubts that it is much safer to start adventure with gambling when you are 25 than when you are 17.
I think it is important that someone who starts gambling can supports himself, because only then does he really know the value of money.
1313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fomo AGAIN? on: October 21, 2021, 11:40:13 PM
I haven’t thought it could be a new ATH without a big dump to $10k-20k LOL but now we are very close to the new ATH; probably tonight, who knows. I just have realized that I'm in FOMO and get an amount which I could afford. Do you think FOMO is created once again & people are likely to get in? I have sold all my BTC long ago; later on, bought little amount only. Sad I didn’t buy the dip.

In my opinion, a lot of people are in FOMO. Investing in any cryptocurrency in or around ATH is never a good idea. However, the sentiment around Bitcoin's price is still very positive, so there is a high probability that its price will really increase further. I generally advise against investing when ATH is achieved, but in this case the risk may pay off.

1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are you prediction to the Cardano top price in this Bull run ? on: October 18, 2021, 11:59:16 PM
Cardano has great potential, but entered the market at the wrong time. BNB took away all the potential customers the ADA might have had. Of course, Cardano still has a chance for a very large development, after all, the entire cryptocurrency market is developing. However, I think it will be tough to hit the $5 mark in this bull run.
1317  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: October 18, 2021, 11:50:15 PM
Still have fund? If you aren’t at hurry, then let your assest leave for some more months for make itself bigger cause bitcoin industry is looking great for take position $62.5, even its possible to hit another ath milestone but you need to be careful also. Cause some people are also thinking that, this is bull trap before dump the bitcoin industry. So dont be wonder if you see such kind of dump is happening. So focus on those news too untill you hold you assets.
It should be selling your altcoins for bitcoin.

As long as you're too optimistic for bitcoin then there's no reason to sell it just to have the other altcoins. But if you're selling because you need it and there's an important cause.

It's a thing that's no need to be questioned.

I think there is still a chance for big gains for altcoins. Of course, I am in favor of buying Bitcoin, but I am also in favor of diversification. Despite the fact that I have great confidence in Bitcoin, it is much safer to invest in several places.
1318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So you like DeFI? on: October 18, 2021, 11:34:51 PM
I believe the Defi ecosystem will provide opportunities for successful crypto business. In 2021, the Defi game project appeared which I think is very interesting to follow. Not only game projects but other projects also use Defi. Even the Defi system is via the Stellar Lumens protocol.
Defi already gets attention from the investors and gives them a big profit. Still, I am not sure if the booming of the DeFi will continue as I see that from some weeks ago, the popularity of DeFi has been reducing. If the DeFi can get more attention from the investors and many new projects can give different things from the previous project, maybe the booming of the DeFi can continue. But you should remember that the trend in the crypto world will always change so you need to know when to get out from that before it is too late.

To tell you the truth, I don't understand the DeFi phenomenon. It is true that this project has attracted a lot of investors with huge capital, but for me it is just as boring as collecting seashells. Of course, someone may like them and everyone can have whatever hobby they want. However, investing huge amounts of money in works of art or similar things that are only in electronic form makes no sense to me. I think there will be something new in a few months and everyone will forget about DeFi.
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still bullish now? on: October 18, 2021, 11:13:37 PM
Some people want to invest Solana now because of the huge rise few days ago. However, some people think that today is the end of the bull market of Solana. What do you think?

Solana is still a very new project, so there will definitely be many more pump and dumps at its price. In my opinion, it is a very promising project that has a good chance of being successful. However, I think it may take a little longer than we think. If someone is prepared or is looking for long term investment, Solana is a good choice in my opinion.
1320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top on the list of your portfolio on: October 18, 2021, 10:54:57 PM
Guys am quite curious to know what is your favorite token/coins in your portfolio at the moment.
As we are all aware of the current altcoin surge with lots of new NFTs and Defi projects that are changing the phase of the altcoin market.

Precisely because a huge number of projects appear on the DeFi and NFT market, it is very difficult to choose the one that will definitely be successful. I think investing in Defi at this point is an overdue idea. Personally, I prefer a stable and reliable investment which Ethereum is for me at the moment. I am sure that if the ETH2 installation is successful, its price will be skyrocketing.
