901  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: June 02, 2022, 07:28:46 PM
Agreed, the average person is never going to be able to do that, they may purchase a little bit more of food, but that is it, as we must remember that most people live paycheck to paycheck and they do not have any significant savings they can use to buy more food, and even if they could do that this will only aggravate the problem, since now the demand for food will increase while the supply is going down, making the price of food to grow even faster.
I think - everyone can do something in their capacity.
The charity begins at home, small savings and investments can help you get rid of so many problem. Like saving up - growing organic food - leaving less carbon footprints. can bring in a positive change in home and environment.
902  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will Replace Russian Gas Supplies to Europe? on: June 02, 2022, 07:25:21 PM
Denmark, becoming the next victim of economic terror, the most unstable supplier in the world, Russian Gazprom, made 2 important decisions:
1. Stop financing terrorists by buying gas from them
2. Will continue to increase gas production in the North Sea. There is such a possibility, reserves allow not only to compensate for the shortage, but also to provide additional volume to the EU market.
Take an example from Denmark - Denmark does not care about the tantrums of a crazy terrorist, Denmark is above this, Denmark is not a sponsor of terrorism!

All good, except the part on North Sea. Gas reserves from that region has been exploited for the last 50 years or so and are nearing exhaustion. I don't think that the oil and gas production from North Sea can be increased any further, even with advanced technology. BTW, I am curious about the financial repercussions. Replacing pipeline gas with LNG can be very costly. On top of that, LNG producers such as Qatar are coming up with a lot of terms and conditions, which may not be acceptable for all of the EU member states.
My country is in so much trouble due to oil price hike.
the people are so much worried - that they have stopped going out - the industry is collapsing and everyone is in real trouble. May God bless us with this patrol crisis.
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 02, 2022, 07:24:10 PM

Cricket is a game of talent and skills when you implement quota you destroy the basic requirement of the game. I do not think quota should be imposed in sports as such. If you want to provide quota then give financial and coaching assistance to those new talents that are economically backward. You can implement quota at that level but not for selection.
That is correct - most of the time the real players luckly make their way to the national team. They are those on which the luck shines bright.
But we cannot ignore that fact that nepotism and favouritism do not exist it exist everywhere - in every industry and in every domain.
904  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: June 02, 2022, 07:12:16 PM

Due to preventing having a getting of the territory they make an action it will become sooner at peace hopefully the both sides and the leaders makes an agreement about it and also there's no conflict happen to the other country at the same time because it will become chaos still we have a pandemic right now and there's a lot of family affected.
This Russian - Ukrainian war has not only damaged the peace in the region - it has affected the whole world.
I have read that Pakistani Prime Minister was on a trip to Russia the same day the Russian attached Ukraine and by law they are not authorized to attack any country when any foreign delegation is on the visit.  This has brought so much instability in PAkistan. See the news. What a pity! Why did Putin did that?
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT's hype over? on: June 02, 2022, 07:07:25 PM
Yes the project is more than legitimate. Take a look at the website with the documentation. See what happened to them, come to TG and talk to the community. They are anything but scammers. I think what the team has been through is remarkable and they will now start again.

it is about the post 127 and to mm2543363580
somehow I can not answer the question directly.
Hello - powermax - thank you for the clarification. Have you joined them?
How is it going? Seem like NFt is taking the market like strom and than again - NFT and creativity goes side by side -so it is going to take a big chunk of the market.
906  Economy / Economics / Re: What skills should I learn to get freelance work ..?? on: May 30, 2022, 06:38:00 PM
you can start with what you like right now!
like starting from your own hobby
if you are a person who has a high imagination then you can start by learning to make digital paintings so you can make digital art and you can promote and sell them
Yes - I have a client who makes small lamp holders and makes candles and sell them.
She does all by herself so she saves a lot of money and earns a lot of profit.
Giving you hobby a different touch is an amazing idea. Go for it.
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the gas price so high on Ethereum? on: May 30, 2022, 04:13:22 PM
The increase in gas prices on ethereum occurs due to the large number of transactions that occur on the ethereum network, and also the value of ethereum is currently quite high when compared to others, for example the BSC network whose BNB value is certainly still very cheap when compared to ethereum, so this is a very influential effect on ethereum gas today, but users of the network are still relied on until now.
That is rightly mentioned that the increased price on Ethereum has occured due to large number of transaction - With the increase in the gas prices - the prices of the gas and oil has increased to the extreme all around the world.
Likewise nothing is easy - and nothing comes in lesser prices these days.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT's hype over? on: May 30, 2022, 04:08:30 PM
Judging by the latest news, I noticed that the interest of NFT industry leaves a double impression. On the one hand in the same March there was a drop in interest in NFT from retail traders and those interested in this direction of the crypto industry.

This is also reflected in the drop in trading volumes on OpenSea and a decrease in the number of searches on Google. That is, according to these factors we can conclude that the NFT haip is coming to an end. But on the other hand in March venture capital investments were mostly in the NFT projects.

What do you think, the NFT HYIP is over or the interest in investments in the NFT projects is due to the fact that now the market began to appear to a greater extent, high-quality projects, but not a mountain of spam, when NFT created everyone who is not lazy?

The hype is definitely not over. Guys, I think that I have found one interesting Blockchain-based NFT game "reptile chronicles" with deep lore, which gives an option to continue this project for a long time. Also, thy have such good features as 1% of all sales for a legendary card. What do you think about this p2e game?
I have seen many artists - who are selling their ugly masters piece for the NFT.
I am not sure what the buyer are going to do with those ugly masterpieces- will they. keep explaining the people what they liked about that ugly master piece.
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you also a holder of one of these coins? on: May 30, 2022, 04:06:09 PM

This time this is the best metaverse token that potentially to increase a lot soon.

910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT and photographers on: May 30, 2022, 04:03:08 PM
If you want to earn from NFT it's not easy because apart from good photos, the Community is also very important. even sometimes the community likes unique things even though it is very ugly and not artsy but they love NFT which is made on the basis of its uniqueness. In addition to being unique, some community members have made NFT their business facility by selling expensive and buying cheap, so if your NFT is cheap, there will be a lot of demand, but it must also be unique.
that's correct. The good master piece sometime is not attractive and buyers buys the piece which is not attractive at all.
They seem over smart to show off their different opinion.
But I read all the suggestions. Very good piece of advices by senior members.
911  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: May 30, 2022, 03:59:04 PM
The gambling industry in Russia contribute an insignificant percentage of revenue to the Russian economy. Most sanctions on Russia have done little to deter them from continuing the invasion of Ukraine. The oil and gas sector is the mainstay of the Russian economy, hence any form of boycott should be targeted at that sector. Boycotting Russian gambling platforms would only affect the common man in the streets of Russia. Many inhabitants of Russia get their basic needs from these platforms. Boycotting this platforms would only cause hunger and death of the less privileged while the political class would still be living in plenty. Russian gambling site also employs non-Russians around the world. Hence boycotting these platforms can even affect members of this forum negatively.

I would love to be such an influential person to be able to boycott gas and oil from Russia. I'm afraid the boycott of Russian casinos is just all I can do.
This boycott is about reducing the inflow of tax money from profit in casinos. The less tax from casinos reaches Russia's budget, the less money they will have for support the war.
On the other hand - if you boycott a casino - it might affect the individual owner of the casino or handful of members who uses the website and brings revenue to Russian Banks. This might not have much effect on the economy. But - the oil and gas crisis can really put a country in trouble. It's better not to take Russia easy.
912  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does one start on crypto? on: May 29, 2022, 09:20:00 AM
Here are several ways to make a profit, the most important of which are:

 - Trading: It is called a way to get more money by trading cryptos, either by transferring between them or by providing exchange services.
 - Investment: There are many cryptocurrencies with a good future, but I only recommend Bitcoin and Ethereum.
 - Gambling: I don't recommend it at all.

There are ways to acquire bitcoin, the most important of which is either buying it or providing services in exchange for it, such as programming services, marketing, and others.

So in short, you need to get a job and additional income to buy bitcoin, and then it is better to invest (do nothing and buy more when the price drops) and after several years you will make a good income.
My question is how can you provide marketing services and get bitcoins in return.
Through which platform kindly elaborate.
Thanking in advance.
913  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is doing well in Thailand...or is it? on: May 29, 2022, 09:16:32 AM
The government's goal is to promote cryptocurrency trade on authorized exchanges (approved and regulated by SEC).

i would have appreciate this if the link to read further on this is attached for clearer understanding because the last time i red about Thailand on cryptocurrency use for payment wasn't on a good side to favour crypto, even though the country is not against cryptocurrency in it entirety but places ban against the financial institutions to use such for payment, meaning individuals can still maintain their independent use of cryptocurrency as an asset or for trading.

i understand to an extent all that is in OP discussion about Thailand government and the digital asset providers otherwise called exchanges, but your point could have been more understandable if the link to portray this is included as you know how the community here really have interest on a reference link.
The government  has different ways of treating bitcoins ..mostly it is in favour of them.
The info in op seems like coming from limited resources. The bitcoin condition is not very good in Thailand.
914  Economy / Economics / Re: What can an average JOE do to face the global food crisis? on: May 29, 2022, 09:13:09 AM
After reading the suggestions - what did average Joe decided to do.
I believe Joe can take care of the food, grow his food, save water. And make a minimalist approach towards life.
Less is more.
That's easy to say but providing your own with those needs will require you to do your own effort if you're living not in an urban area. In most rural areas, you should be the one that's exerting effort for you to produce those things. Well, that goes for my country and I guess in other countries that haven't been reached yet by government programs.

But let's put it this way if there's an emergency, I saw on the news that one of the burger chains in our country is lacking patties. So that's giving the true idea and fact that there's really a shortage of supply of food.

The best thing for me to do is to put them into storage and acquire stocks. It's not yet that severe and extreme shortage but putting a little by little with my budget is a way to start.
I think - we all need to put our phones down for a while and work.
Try to add plants to our surrounding - grow fruits trees - if not there is a way to make a balcony kitchen garden. Which helps cutting the cost and gives back energy.
915  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens if BTC's price falls to $8,000? on: May 29, 2022, 09:05:38 AM
So basically you read that article about that minard guy who said Bitcoin might go to $8K correct?

He had like 3-4 predictions in the past and all of them were incorrect. You would of been better to countertrade him.

When he says to buy you sell and vice versa. If anything this is a bottom signal.
That is correct - with informations comes propaganda too.
That is one of the reasons people are not trusting the information and they come to the forum. I think before we make a move we must do our proper research.
916  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter to pay $150 million for selling users data for Ads on: May 29, 2022, 09:03:18 AM
Almost every tech companies are doing this so why the Twitter alone? No data we enter into the social media is safe anymore because we are their products and they make money by only selling our data to the advertisement companies so anyone who think they're at the safer platform then has to rethink about it but wait they are doing more worse than just selling our numbers and email which is the spying of all our activities because they have access to all the things from camera, microphone, file manager,etc...
Once I watched a video in which the judge asked Mark Zuckerberg - he asked Mark - would you like to tell public in which restaurant you ate last night and where did you go last week? He said No, the judged said why are you making people's information public than? So they want different rules for themselves and other rules for public.
917  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: May 29, 2022, 08:55:32 AM

Having a war is quite expensive because of the things they need to maintain and produce such as the different weapons, defensive items and etc. I guess having a ware is not ideal with the community of te particular country, is there any update between the current situation of the both country?. its been a while they make a news with this.

The Ukrainian president is starting to complain that his Western "allies" are not "doing enough" to help in the defense of his country. He also said that the Ukrainian military needed to give up key regions in the country because they can't sustain the resistance against the Russian invasion. Ukraine needs more weapons, and money for additional budgetary assistance. I believe the Russians will sack Kyiv by Christmas.

We knew that unless there was a direct participation by the US army forces Ukraine will have a lot of problems to repel the Russian army, and even if at the beginning of the war it seemed to be some reason to be positive about the outcome of the war as time has passed the more critical the situation is turning for the Ukrainians, so it seems only a matter of time before Russia takes all the country for themselves and Ukraine stops existing as a country.
That correct - war is expensive - be it in whatever form.
Be it with other countries - or it is inside the country. The aftereffects are crucial.
It's better to deal things with dialogue rather than deadlock.
918  Economy / Economics / Re: Where to invest everything looking bearish on: May 29, 2022, 08:52:04 AM
If you want to invest currently, I believe it's better you invest in bitcoin, just buy bitcoin and HOLD. Actually if you are investing in bitcon you should be prepared to hold for long term, if you really want to make enough profit then you should hold for long term, the more you hold bitcoin the more profits you get. But I think Bitcoin investment is not really profitable for short term holders, if you want to hold bitcoin you should be prepared to hold for long.
There needs a lot of investment and then a lot of patience.
One needs to thoroughly familiar with the market and up and down - when to buy and when to sell. Those who invested in the bitcoin in early days were more lucky.
919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 29, 2022, 08:44:16 AM

Yes, that is true. The difference between the quota system and nepotism/favoritism is that the quota system is actually directly affecting the selection of a cricket team for a long time. Like the players are going to be there even though there are other players who are the best fit for the job.

But in Favoritism, a player might get chances of playing but if they don't play well they will eventually be dropped.

So, eventually in my opinion the quota system causes a lot more harm instead of nepotism/favoritism. But I believe both are detrimental to the future of cricket.
This happens everywhere - those who are privileged have the ability to get the best out of everything. Unlike the middle class or lower middle class people who keeps on striving throughout their lives. No use of raising voice against nepotism - it stayed there and it will stay there forever. Chill!
920  Economy / Economics / Re: Who will Replace Russian Gas Supplies to Europe? on: May 28, 2022, 09:33:19 PM
Inflation was brought under control and the ruble was deflated last week. Therefore, the Central Bank of Russia took measures to weaken the ruble - lowered the key rate, and also reduced the limit on the mandatory sale of exporters of foreign exchange earnings from 80 to 50 percent and increased the sale period from 90 to 120 days.

Prices in stores rose from the initial sanctions shock, then stabilized and even crept down. Gasoline in Russia has fallen in price since the beginning of the operation, the prices for utilities have not changed. There are no empty shelves in grocery stores. In general, hunger riots do not threaten Russia.

Sounds nice. And probably in theory or in other countries it works like that. Then a couple more questions.
- why the prices for products do not decrease, and moreover - grow. For example, the network "Mir Vkusa", in Moscow, I know for sure that revaluation is carried out almost daily, and all products are only getting more expensive. This is just a real market example.
These are the most expensive grocery stores in Moscow, and maybe in all of Europe, with a focus on uncompromising quality of products.

- weakening of the ruble, beneficial to exporters (such as Rosneft and other resource sellers), but categorically not beneficial to importers and the population. Like it or not, but in almost everything, from wrapping materials to flavorings, from consumables to assemblies, Russia imports, which means that everything will be reflected in the cost of mass products. Reflected in the form of price increases. It turns out that they gave preference to Rosneft, shifting the entire burden on their already impoverished population? And there is still a decrease in the volume of hydrocarbon supplies and a decrease in income from these transactions ....
That's right, a weak ruble is beneficial for exporters and disadvantageous for importers. Now the Central Bank of Russia is looking for a comfortable equilibrium rate that suits both. At the same time, he does not have at his disposal the usual levers for managing the exchange rate of the ruble in the form of direct interventions in the foreign exchange market, since his foreign exchange reserves are blocked by sanctions. But it seems that other methods, such as changing the key rate, changing the conditions for the mandatory sale of foreign currency for exporters, and verbal interventions by the head of the Central Bank also work well.

From June 1, the Government, as part of supporting the population, increased pensions for pensioners by 10% (for the second time in a year, the previous increase was in January) and the minimum wage by 10%, on which the salaries of state employees directly depend.
Russia is powerful and they will come back no matter what. All the effort of putting Russia in trouble will go fail.
All the counties are united to put Russia in trouble but they are biggest oil producers and they can not be defeated.
