Of course you can speculate who is right.
I can see an improvement in the 1xBit behavior and that is why I joined a signature campaign. I think it's very important that after being inactive here for a long time on the forum, now support reply very quickly to all messages. I believe that sooner or later they will rebuild their reputation on the forum and my red trust will be removed.
The same case was with Betcoin.ag and now all participants of the campaign have a neutral trust.
I believe Betcoin.ag is far different from 1xbit mate because betcoin.ag answered issues and admits their mistakes that is why issues has been resolved and now they are moving forward.
But in 1xbit team ? they keep hiding in their "Rule Breaking Issues" in which they never give a clear answer or proofs instead accusing all the claims about this Security issue and nothing more.
do you think this will resolve the issue , no it is not unless they will be open in admitting mistakes to clear their name and made a fresh start , but not until that time comes they will be a scam site in eyes of everyone that can read this thread.

Unfortunately, but in a situation where the player claims one thing and the casino the other, and neither side can present evidence, it is difficult to take one side.
I am guided by the fact that, unlike in the past, now 1xBit support responds to all issues on a regular basis and I believe that, like Betcoin.ag, it will rebuild its reputation.
I know that most users are driven by the past now, but I believe that it will change over time.

I'm not sure why the gambling site is advertising in this section, but if the thread has been here for two years then the moderators are okay with it.
However, in my opinion, such an announcement thred should be created in the Gambling section here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0
There, for sure, such a thread would attract more players.
1443  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 19, 2021, 03:15:41 AM
Gambling players change bookmakers and casinos very often. Many players believe that winning largely depends on one casino getting them lucky and the other not. When they lose a significant amount, they look for a new casino. Unfortunately, losses happen quite often, which is why the rotation is very high. They don't really need any big bonuses or promotions to attract players, they just need a lot of advertising.
Mostly true but we can see some gamblers or players that are just too honest and still stick to bookmakers as they like because they tend to gain trust with it, not because they lost significantly huge amounts. I tend to disagree, I guess they still need these bonuses and promotions for them to attract more players on the site, this is part of advertising as well.

You know .. Usually players have accounts in several casinos and sooner or later they lose in all of them. After some time they come full circle and come back to where they played before, but at that moment they found an email from them with info about some new bonus.  Wink Cheesy
It is definitely something that attracts the attention of players. But I have no doubts that advertising is and will be the most important thing.

1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Binance? on: August 18, 2021, 09:10:11 PM
Not looking good
In liquidation status and apparently removed from the registry. The entire management team has resigned. The company is not in good standing and does not qualify
https://scambinance.com/investigations/186-binance-holdings-limited-cayman-islands-all-management-resigned-company-in-liquidation.html

From the website address itself, I conclude that it is not objective service, so I am not surprised by the content of this article. I doubt that even half of this text is true.
If even some of this information is true, Binance is too big a company not to not resolve these problems.
If any regulatory authorities actually create difficulties, it is enough for Binance to improve its regulations and the case should be closed. New employees can also be hired easily.
Besides, MT.Gox was hacked, not closed. In my opinion, Binance is safe.
1446  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 18, 2021, 08:55:54 PM

There is probably some truth to this. In sports betting, people like to stick to a bookmaker they know and trust. The only way Roobet will be able to attract gamblers from other platforms is if they offer really competitive odds or good promotions, such as odds boosters.

It seems, however, that Roobet already has a large customer base at their casino, and the sportsbook will be welcomed by current customers. Sportsbook could be a great way for those who have not yet tried their hands at sports betting to learn more about it. There will certainly be a large number of gamblers who would like to take advantage of this opportunity.

That's a bit sad but at the same time frustrating that all they want in this forum is to get money and not contribute some meaningful conversations and topics to the forum to discuss with each other. It seems that some of them are also not new to this because they have been a sock puppet for others in the past.

I'd love to talk with you about what you're accusing me of. If you have such an opinion about me, maybe you can explain to me more precisely what you mean, because what you wrote is not true.

As described by 1xBit support:

Hello there,

1xBit reputation on this forum is quite questionable indeed, but we believe that this happened because of our absence on this forum, so people were biased once we were back, and the doubtfulness snowballed.

Now we are active for more than a year in a row, and here are our contribution to the community:

- list of resolved cases: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5267172.msg56150537#msg56150537
- another list: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5267172.msg57260450#msg57260450
- honest review campaign with more than 70 positive or neutral reviews, only 3 negative: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5339885.0
- 12 weeks signature campaign paid, 13 coming: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5339884.msg57086933#msg57086933
- 3 BTC lottery with daily 1 mBTC contest held: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5343260.0
- Tokyo contest held: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5351264.0

we aim to answer all the complaints, and we believe that now about 99% of all complaints here were answered.

Sincerely,
1xBit team

I joined the 1xBit signature campaign because I see this change for the better.
If you stop listening to users who work for competitive casinos (see signatures) and do your own research, you will also change your mind.

HUMAN Protocol (HMT)
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/human-protocol
https://cryptorank.io/ico/human-protocol

One of the interesting projects that was traded on Coinlist at $ 0.50 and $ 0.75. Buyers of tokens did not receive a large ROI, but the project seems interesting to me.
Has anyone considered investing in this project?

https://coinlist.co/human
If you look at the chart, there may still be a pump until October, until the 2020 Strategic Sale tokens are unlocked

Why didn't you write why you think this project is interesting? Your announcement looks like you would already invested and promote this project just to build a pump, raise the price and sell it for a profit. I'm not saying that it is, but it would be more fair if you first could provide some information and reasons why this project is interesting to you and might be successful.
I have not invested in this project yet.
If a pump and dump scheme seems to you, then do not invest in this project.
I assume that in a bull market, the price of this token could rise to $ 3-5.
Because it is more profitable for a manipulator to raise the price now in order to sell tokens at a higher price in October.
This is not investment advice, DYOR.

The price has been stable with little down for a few days recently, but today it jumped by 20%. At the moment, it is already $1.19.
It's hard to say if a new bull run will come, but if so, your predictions may come true.
However, there is a risk that this is the end of the bull run and in such a situation the loss can be very big.
Like you said, everyone should do their own research.
1450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the fight between Binance and Cardano on: August 16, 2021, 02:37:27 PM
let's make an argument here, which do you think is suitable to be ranked 3rd on coinmarketcap (Binance or Cardano), I personally prefer Binance, because Binance already has products (exchange, smart chain and Nft marketplace), then of course all products from Binance are successful and in demand by many people, while product from Cardano are still coming soon, that's why I prefer Binance rather than Cardano, so what's your choice?
Personally I also prefer BNB in the 3rd position but that's only limited to liking it, because if Cardano can occupy the 3rd position on coinmarketcap, we all can't do anything about it either, because it's about trading volume that increases every day, not about how many products a coin has issued.

As for BNB and Cardano, you are right that it is not about the amount of coins the project has created. However, you are wrong, because it is not about "trading volume" but about the market cap, i.e. the value of the entire project = the value of all coins, not the amount of all coins.
And you are right, because as individuals we can't do much. It will be whales who will determine who will be in 3rd position.
1451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It takes years to build a reputation and seconds to break it on: August 16, 2021, 12:59:52 PM
The really big bookmakers have a lot of customers. I don't think they are easily steered by the fact that they have a problem with a customer. After all, every bookmaker or casino has a problem with a customer
There are a few gamblers that are dealing with them having bad experiences. They're probably looking for the perfect casino but the reality is that there's really no perfect casino. And every problem that they deal with those casinos, they're solvable as long as they're communicating well and bearing with them.

I think there are perfect casinos, if we mean their intentions, but of course mistakes can happen anywhere. That's why the way Support of a gambling site works is of major importance. The reputation of the otherwise good site can be ruined merely by poor performance of their support.

Even if the support works perfectly in the casino, there will be people who, frustrated with failure, will accuse them of cheating. Of course, anyone who plays for a long time knows that such things happen, but remember that the gambling industry is a very large and ruthless market. I am sure that the besides frustrated losers, are there rival casinos with their tricks. Im sure they not only run campaigns to advertise themselves, but they definitely try to slander their competitors projects. When the action is big and intense, something like this can real make difference in players confidence to the casino.
1452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the fight between Binance and Cardano on: August 16, 2021, 12:49:13 PM
The circulating supply of Cardano is 32,112,283,412 ADA and the circulating supply of Binance Coin is 168,137,036 BNB and hence it is easier for coins with larger circulation to be at the top of the list and what is there with the battle, these things changes with time and in the next 5 years if they could be in the top ten list, then we can talk about it.

I don't think the amount of coins is critical here. It is the market value of the entire project that is taken into account, i.e. the market cap. I think we have to wait till Cardano launches the smart contracts and then we will be able assesses their usefulness and it will be time to speak of pure competition between these projects. I agree that it will definitely take time, and if not 5 years, then at least 2 years for sure.

For ordinary users, Binance is definitely a much better platform - just for the reasons you mentioned. Right now, Cardano has taken position 3 and outranked Binance because their platform appears to be more attractive to large investors and funds. In fact, everything will be clear when Cardano creates the smart contracts. Only then will we be able to assess whether their product is better and more innovative than the Binance platform.

I'm selling my 1000 sumcoin to Hold for 1000$ in btc

I am afraid that this project has been abandoned by developers and its code has been hidden and cannot be further improved. In other words, there is a small chance that this project will revive and attract investors interest because everything indicates that it will not be further developed.

1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DEFI] DFE: Decentralized Finance Europe Farming and Exchange on: August 16, 2021, 07:14:25 AM
Unfortunately, it seems that the dev team is completely inexperienced and completely irresponsible. They completely ruined the promotion by closing the bounty campaign a moment after its launch, they chose for IEO exchange that scammed them, and finally closed the project and all news channels without a word of explanation.

I wonder if there are people who put money there and didn't get it back?
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance BNB coin is the alt you literally have been waiting for to invest in on: August 15, 2021, 01:28:21 PM
Look at the charts. Consistent growth. This one is a steady growth. Only long term people should buy this coin. If you're looking to day trade you will constantly wait. The ones who wait will see this coin reach levels to make em profit very largely. Just do your research and check the consistency of this coin in the graphs. Good luck to you if you don't invest now.

BNB at Binance.com

Binance Coin is a direct competitor to Ethereum. The constant increase in the BNB price is mainly due to the fact that ETH had very high transaction fees over a long period of time. When the Ethereum update is completed and Ethereum 2.0 will be introduced to mainnet, everyone will start creating projects on the Ethereum platform again and the price of Binance will probably start to drop slowly. Therefore, in my opinion, BNB is not a good long-term investment.
1457  Economy / Economics / Re: "Crypto is no longer in the early adoption stage" on: August 15, 2021, 01:00:35 PM
The cryptocurrency industry started with the launch of Bitcoin in 2009 and then flourished in the following years with various assets and blockchain-based solutions. According to Stephen Stonberg, CEO of Bittrex Global, this is no longer in its infancy.
“I think we’re already past the stage of crypto early adoption,” Stonberg told Cointelegraph adding:
“Crypto has now gone mainstream. We have double-digit percentage adoption in both developed and developing countries. We even have Bitcoin adopted as legal tender in a country and many other countries are considering adopting Bitcoin as legal tender.”
Bitcoin has also become a very common investment, as a number of large companies such as Microstrategy have invested in these assets.

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/crypto-is-no-longer-in-the-early-adoption-stage-bittrex-global-ceo-says

In a situation where many governments still ban cryptocurrency trading, we cannot say that Bitcoin has ended the "early stage of adoption". There is still a lack of automated, user-friendly micropayment applications. We will be able to talk about the end of the "early stage of adoption" when Bitcoin (or preferably at least a few cryptocurrencies) will be a globally accepted means of payment. Just because someone is thinking of accepting Bitcoin as legal tender doesn't mean it will happen.
1458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch introduces restrictions on gambling-related links - deadline 17 Aug on: August 15, 2021, 10:26:27 AM
Twitch is just one of hundreds of tools for promoting gambling sites. Obviously this is not good for casino promotion, but I think it is still just a drop in the ocean of possibilities when it comes to crypto gambling promotion. I think this decision will have very little, if any, impact.
Casinos who are into twitch sponsorship through its streamers, they can easily pull it out. I also think that the impact is going to be little and for such casinos, they can look to other medias where they can advertise.
On the end of twitch, this is also nothing to be considered.

Of course. Casinos have specific budgets that they spend on advertising each month. If the budget does not change, the money will simply be transferred to the ad fee elsewhere. If the casino thinks well and chooses a good new ad space, then with a bit of luck it may have an even better effect in terms of the effectiveness of crypto gambling promotion.
1459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch introduces restrictions on gambling-related links - deadline 17 Aug on: August 15, 2021, 07:23:00 AM
The latest creator update from Twitch says,

Quote
"To prevent harm and scams created by questionable gambling services that sponsor content on Twitch, we will prohibit sharing links and/or referral codes to sites that offer slots, roulette, or dice games,”

Now streamers have time till 17th August to remove any such contents from their videos.

Do you foresee any Impact on crypto gambling?

Twitch is just one of hundreds of tools for promoting gambling sites. Obviously this is not good for casino promotion, but I think it is still just a drop in the ocean of possibilities when it comes to crypto gambling promotion. I think this decision will have very little, if any, impact.
1460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 15, 2021, 06:58:36 AM
Yes but it's not really a gamble where you win, you win and when you lose, you lose. It's sort of an investment rather than gambling honestly, you will need capital to purchase some NFT then use the NFT to earn so the only lose here is when the price of the NFT crash unlike gambling there's 2 ways to lose, lose in gambling and when the price crash.

I noticed the same thing too. If we call it gambling, then basically you would have to recognize that any cryptocurrency investment is a gamble. In this case, quite much depends on us and how well we research the project. Also, the fact that the NFT is still super popular allows us to think that the ROI will be achieved very quickly.
