1761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Say Bitcoin is scam on: November 10, 2020, 04:45:58 AM
Let's just it is scam
How Long from Today we have left until Bitcoin will be done?
Just humble speculation Let's play out the worse case scenario hope for the best prepare for the worse!
Let's say that Bitcoin is a scam (which technically not) then I think this will leave a devastating result on everyone not only on every single individual but also on those big corporations who already adopt this technology, in short everything will be messed up. However, it is clear that Bitcoin was not a scam because if it does then it will have been discovered by someone else before.
Bitcoin was once received a lot of criticism before that it is fraud and just a scam, creating a FUD all over the market but look at it now everyone is eagerly going for it.

How Long from Today we have left until Bitcoin will be done?
Let's say its scam we know today so how long we have time until it collapse?
No one knows, did anyone predict that Bitcoin will go beyond and will set its ATH at $20k? Therefore, we also don't know when it will collapse.

1762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: November 09, 2020, 03:19:51 PM
I always think when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency and I've thought of several methods for choosing the right time to buy cryptocurrency, that is :
1. buy coin during ICO, IEO or STO;
Then from the methods I have mentioned, which method is the most appropriate to buy cryptocurrency or is there another method that you can suggest to buy cryptocurrency at the right time?
Honestly, I don' think that there's a right time to buy cryptocurrencies because from what I know crypto coins value is always changed, even if you buy at today's price you can still manage to get a profit out of it and all you need to do is to be patient. You shouldn't focus on when to buy a coin but rather what coin to buy instead. Before buying a coin whether it is ICO, IEO or STO make an in-depth understanding first regards the coin where to invest, consider the developer team, whitepaper, road map, and such.

2. buy when the price down (dump);
It is obviously a good idea and recommended to buy at a lower price.

3. buy when the project has a good news;
what do you mean by this? Is having good news regards with the coin will make difference?

5. buy when coin from the project listed on big exchange;
This was also a good idea, however, let say they manage to list on an exchange, this not necessarily mean they can able maintain the volume they have got on their first release because I've seen a lot of tokens who manage to be listed that doesn't last long right after the folks dump it.

1763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right investment for cryptocurrency... on: November 09, 2020, 02:31:06 PM
Indeed, the most important when we want to investing our money in cryptocurrency is, we must afford to lose what we invest.
Never take loan to invest on cryptocurrency because that is not our money and we won't be able to afford what we borrowed.
But we should not afraid to investing in crypto because the earning is good than others, if only we get the profit though.
Indeed. I wouldn't recommend using loan money just to invest in Cryptocurrencies because there's no guarantee that you will gain profit that easily, the worse might happen is to lose that loaned money and get into debt.
Crypto investment was risky especially if you have no idea what you are doing. Investing requires experience and knowledge in order to reduce the risky you were taking. You don't invest in just random projects or what, you must take your own research. One more thing, invest only the money you can afford to lose.
1764  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers are using the name of Airdrop to take the wallet's private key. on: November 09, 2020, 01:53:30 PM

When you see this on your computer, it's already obvious or at least sus that this is a scam website.

I think no one in the right mind would be going to put their wallet private key just for a sketchy giveaway like this, I mean you can't risk it especially when you have a high amount of investment in your wallet.

Remember that there is no website that is gonna required you to put your private key especially in a giveaway, I mean there are some legit websites but don't do it for a giveaway.
Having the same thought. Fortunately, it never happened to me, and for sure I won't fall for it but I am afraid for the newbies who are only getting started because some of them might not have an idea or clue that they shouldn't share their keys with anyone especially on a sketchy website. That is why I will recommend for newbies that if happens they encounter this kind of Airdrop they should be wary and get away from it because there's no doubt that this is definitely a scam. Upon joining Airdrop, you can provide your wallet address but don't ever give your private keys.
1765  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best cryptocurrency exchange for beginners on: November 09, 2020, 01:01:58 PM
Well, I can't tell what is the best cryptocurrency exchange for beginners because they are the ones who should determine whether it is easy for them to use or not.
The only advice I can give is that upon choosing an exchange the first thing you should consider is the security, no matter how user-friendly the exchanges is if the security isn't that good then what's the point? all of your funds will be more exposed at risk. And then there's Reputation you should also need to consider, I think determining the reputation won't be that difficult to learn, just look on the web what exchanges are the highest volume by then you can already tell if it is reputable or not.
1766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 09, 2020, 11:56:08 AM
I'd say I once have the experience to participate in Ponzi when I was just a newbie and I remember that I once get a profit on it but as soon as they got a lot of recruits the scheme started.
That was the first and the last time I participate in that thing cause someone told me that I should stay away from it cause you will not get anything from it, it would be just a waste of time and money. Just like him, I will warn you, you never want to enter this kind of scheme, if you want profit then you can trade or invest there's a lot of ways but don't go for Ponzis.
1767  Economy / Speculation / Re: Altcoin still feasible? Profit or loss? on: November 09, 2020, 06:13:49 AM
Yeah, I think altcoin was still feasible and can even provide a decent profit. It seemed a bit down right now but this not necessarily mean that it was dead. I mean there are still several altcoins that could still pull off like Ethereum and other top tier coins. It has just happened that Bitcoin is now caught a lot of attention that is why investors and traders tend to move their investment from it especially that Bitcoin now touch $15k.
This might not be that best season for other altcoins but don't worry we'll go on it soon.
1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: November 09, 2020, 04:25:04 AM
There are many countries where bitcoin is not accepted legally, so how do you use bitcoin in that country? Usually if you raise the level of bitcoin use in that country then you may get into legal trouble.
So how do you use your earned bitcoin in that country.
Fortunately, in my country using Bitcoin was not illegal in fact we have a local Bitcoin wallet that is partnered with several banks and even online stores. You could also use it to convert your Bitcoin and other selected crypto into local currency, and it is pretty convenient.
Now, if that the case wherein you belong to the country that prohibits the use of this technology, then you have no choice but to keep earning, hold and wait until your country opens up upon the use of Cryptos. There's also another option if you'd like, where you can convert it on fiat and make use of it.
Innovation is imminent and we cannot do something about but to go with it, if your government forbids it right now soon they will have no choice but to accept it and by that time you can now freely do whatever you want without getting into trouble.

1770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every BTC trader should use it on: November 06, 2020, 02:01:59 PM
This thread is very useful and informative especially for the newbies. As soon as I saw this thread I quickly bookmarked it for future references. If there's any chance someone ask me regards what crypto tools should they use I will provide them this link.
What I like on the tools OP provided is the Crypto News aggregator coz I am really fan of crypto news. Through news I can make my TA. So yeah this was a great idea I will highly recommend this thread.
1771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: November 05, 2020, 02:10:28 PM
I have been gambling a lot these days with soccer matches but I'm not enough lucky to make a profit. Howeber, I'm not into huge loss. It's very tiny amount if I check all the previous P/L.
I don't bet big amount. Usually, I bet $4/$5 worth of BTC on a lot of matches; sometimes I win and sometimes I loss. But that can't make me any profit.
Should I go for bigger amount of bets on few matches or stay with current strategy (placing many bets of small amounts)?
Even if you change the amount of your bet I don't think it would make any difference, the only things make it differs is that if you will increase your bet then technically you increase the risk is your taking as well. Since you are not into huge loss I guess sticking on your current bet might be good idea and for you to increase your winning chances perhaps you make a better analysis.
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video Game Company Supports Cryptocurrency on: November 05, 2020, 11:45:56 AM
I think they should also launch their own token in the market that could be used in all of their games, Also could be used in buying skills or items in the game this could be a great token targetting gamers.

Do you think they should launch their own token?
I kinda like this idea. Since I am a fan of video games myself and a fan of cryptocurrencies as well, it would be a lot more convenient for me.
This might be the beginning of the integration of the gaming industry and crypto, and if this continues this will attract more investors, and since we know how successful the game industry is this might contribute to the whole market.

1774  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good time to buy Bitcoin ? on: November 04, 2020, 02:18:23 PM
Hello guys do you think now is a good time to buy bitcoin for trading in cryptocurrencies not for holding it
because the current price looks too high for me (13500$) but im affraid that if i wait it will go more higher to 16k-20k
do you think BTC can fall again at least to 9000$-10000$ or that's not gonna happen and i need to buy it at this price ?
Well, personally, I think every time is the best time to buy bitcoins even if you are going for a trade but it will always depend on your timescale. I mean, if you purchase around $13k worth BTC you can still possibly earn profit and all you need to do is to wait. Honestly, we don't have any idea if Bitcoin if going to fall again or will go more higher, so I think the best option is to take the risk and purchase the amount you want then wait for it to acquire profit.
1775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New way to cheat with Bitcoin! be careful on: November 04, 2020, 05:17:25 AM
Well, this scheme is not new to me though. I've seen a lot of the same cases even the time I was new to everything, and fortunately I never been fall into it. Perhaps, through the help of my friends who have more experience and knowledge always advise me to avoid this kind of scheme. Besides, sometimes you can tell if the service was a scam or not through their promises just like what OPs mentioned. It's kinda suspicious to get a 400% amount of profit within the short term. No one will probably fall into this scheme I hope, but I worrying for those individuals who are about to enter this industry though.
1776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fast food restaurants accepting crypto as payment method? on: November 03, 2020, 12:40:41 PM
Do you happen to know of any fast food restaurants which accepts crypto in the mainstream world? It would be extremely convenience to buy food with crypto anywhere in the world. Since crypto often behaves like cash (no middleman or KYC required), it proves to be even better than credit/debit cards as a payment method. The only issue would be dealing with price volatility. But fast food restaurants can simply convert crypto to Fiat instantly via the use of a payment gateway (like Bitpay or CoinPayments).

If you happen to know of any fast food restaurant in the US or anywhere in the world which accepts crypto as payment method, please let me know. I'd imagine this would increase mainstream adoption of crypto at a fast pace. Paying with Bitcoin or Ethereum at KFC or Burger King would be so much better than paying with cash or credit/debit cards, in my own opinion. Thoughts? Huh

The idea is not bad I'd say but I don't think it is worth to use your Bitcoin and Ethereum for any commodities, it would be better if there will be any coin that is less volatile can be used on this one like USDT since the value was also the same as USD.
Regarding the fast-food restaurant, unfortunately, I haven't encountered yet but for transportation, I think I did. And this quite a good idea as well.
It would be convenient though but don't you imagine how the market will be if there's something high volatile will be used in this kind of transaction? And just like you have said the price volatility will be the big issue.
1777  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rather learn to trade by yourself on: November 03, 2020, 11:22:37 AM
This is a high volatility market? People don't understand what it means, it means the risk is very high, it can break you more than it can make you, it's takes luck and wisdom, consistency and lesson and teachings learned about trading, coupled with discipline the individual uses to take profit.

This crypto currency market is not trade fair or Walmart market.

Trading is very risky, we just trade with risk management. Never give anybody money to trade, if it goes soar wetin u go talk.

Best is to learn the exact process or strategy, and trade for yourself, than give your money to someone to trade for you in a very high volatile market
Well Crypto trading is definitely risky and highly volatile but this is not necessarily mean the higher the volatile the riskier it is, take Forex trading, for example.
Crypto Trading is indeed risky if you don't have enough knowledge and experience on doing it but as long as you have these essential needs or fundamentals you can somehow pull it through.
Honestly, I never to give my money onto someone to trade for me not because I don't have trust in them but because I can do it myself though so why would I let them trade for me.
1778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest the best strategy on: November 03, 2020, 10:37:58 AM
When you are talking about sport betting strategy I think it would all depends on how you know the sport to much and all the team and player.
That is the only advantage you could use in betting the rest is only how you manage your funds don't rely on luck when you could have a higher chance if you know them too well.
^ Definitely right and same here, I have been betting for quite some time now and I think I have already used all the strategies that you mentioned, some of them gave me a profit and some don't because I know for a fact that I am still gambling and it doesn't secure any winnings. However I didn't cling to any of the strategies, I just place bets on random strategies because in reality there is still no absolute strategy and I will just depend on my judgment so I always bear in mind that every time I place a bet it should always be within the amount that I can afford to lose.
Yes because not all the time your strategy will work. For me, there's no best strategy but sometimes there is and it depends on the game you were playing. Just like in sports bet the strategy you only need to do is to make an analysis on the both competing team and choose the team that has a higher chance of winning by that way you can increase you winning rate.
I agreed that is no absolute strategy because just like what I have mentioned there are times it would work and sometimes not. Random strategies will do I guess.
1779  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 5 reasons I see $100k in next 2 years on: November 02, 2020, 11:32:12 AM
What do you think of these five price drivers?
Well, some of your drivers have a good point but for drivers 1 and 5 not sure though. You mentioned on the 1st one, the 2020 economic crisis will possibly lead Bitcoin to reach that amount but looking at the current situation we have now, some of the countries' economic status is now gradually recovered, and if this continues the crisis might end as soon.
For the 5th one, we don't know yet how DeFI can last long besides, DeFi is related to ETH not to Bitcoin.
But anyway, these are just speculation feel free to make your own presumption and look forward to it there's nothing wrong with dreaming after all, so yeah I'm with you waiting for $100k to happen.
1780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we stop bitcoin scammers? on: November 02, 2020, 03:53:59 AM
I have noticed and we are all aware that so many people do complain that they were scammed through bitcoin. In every problem there is always a solution. How can we identify when a scammer is trying to scam.Let their be a strong system In such a way that scammers won’t be able to penetrate in. And can we pay more attention when someone complain about scammers.
Well, first of all, there's is no such system that couldn't be penetrated because no system is 100% safe, scammers would find a way to break it and harm people.
Scammers are nowadays are so smart that they can now even pull off something that we can never imagine, sometimes we cannot even tell if it is a scam or not am I right?
So basically, scammers are most likely inevitable especially if there's money involved that is why all we need to do or to have is KNOWLEDGE but this still will not 100% guarantee avoid these circumstances.
Before engaging in any events or activities make sure that you always make research about them so that we might not fully avoid them but we can reduce the chances of being scammed.
