1781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][Exchange Confirmed] PowerCoin PWC now the second most profitable! on: May 22, 2013, 01:27:35 AM
Feel the POWER!!! I made promises to a lot of you that we would go from strength to strength and this just reinforces that PowerCoin is here to stay.

We are aware of the windows wallet issue and will be looking to fix this over the coming day. Also a brand new pool is going to be released very soon! Stay up to date on twitter! There are a lot of projects in the works  Grin

Sigh. Did you know, that the Dev for Coinchoose, had to remove Cryptsy, as a source for a lot of coins, because it was causing false reportings, for profitability? Unless you actually believe, PWC is 7000% profitable, even though the highest sale so far, netted someone .01BTC...Just because someone creates a sell order, for a specific price, doesn't mean anyone is actually paying that price, noob
I was hopeful about PWC but now i believe it will fade away after pump and dump. Wouldnt waste proven crypto coins on a pipe dream

You can't even do a pump and dump, if noone is buying....Look at the volumes being traded, 50 here, 100 there, 1 here. Cryptsy prices are so out of whack

It shows as the most profitable on coinchoose.com.

Just skipped over my post, didn't you, there...

1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DGC] DigitalCoin.Co || Instant | Stable | Reliable || LAUNCHED on: May 22, 2013, 01:16:38 AM
Can anyone else volunteer as a node for the first post? You need to have the client running 24/7, lots of bandwidth. Ideally a server.

I may not care for your coin man, but I will say, I totally respect you as a Dev. You are always active, and quick to respond to questions. Kudos. I wish you luck with you coin. Who knows, if it proves profitable, I may be mining it soon Tongue
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: May 22, 2013, 01:13:32 AM
That is a good suggestion.  I am trying to keep the table less cluttered (and leave some aspects to dustcoin / coinwarez), but I think that fits in with what I am trying to show here.

CoinChoose is supposed to be the programmer's mining profitability site Smiley
I was hoping you would turn down that request.  Profitability does not directly associate with market cap.  I frequently go to the other sites mentioned and look at market cap if I need to know.

Maybe need a vote?  All those in favor of more details?

Keep it simple. Most of us, only care about 1 column anyways, profitability

Also, when network hashrate started to dropped, WDC's diff dropped, very quickly, to compensate

Holy shit guy, stop multi-consecutive posting in multiple threads just to get your post count through the roof. Your posts are not constructive and add no value to any of the threads you've posted in at all, not to mention you can barely construct a sentence to make much sense anymore.

It's absolutely shitting me that there are so many people out there like you that are spamming decent threads full of shit posts. I've refused to use the "ignore" feature for as long as i feel i could, i honestly dont think i can hold back anymore.

What the hell are you talking about? You chose a post, that was valid, and constructive... Roll Eyes These are forums, I am here to express my opinions and views, as is my right. There's nothing wrong with a debate. And if anyone could actually come up with a good argument, about why they support a certain coin, rather then "Oh man, GLD Coin rules man, stfu. It's going straight to the moon. PWC 4tw, and if you don't agree with me, go fuck yourself, I wouldn't be so compelled to call them on it.. I'm not here, to stroke peoples ego's, and suck their cocks.
1788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTSY.COM- new excellent exchange launched!! on: May 22, 2013, 12:58:56 AM
I don't know if you all noticed or not, but the only coins with any volume, are the ones no other exchange wanted. Gotta hand it to Big Vern though, while you all trade worthless coins for BTC, he's just collecting fees like a boss Wink

Anyone else notice that NWO seems to have fallen off the face of the planet? I guess after he dumped off all his PWC on some poor sucker, he must be too busy mining WDC or something.
1790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] *** New Exchange With lot of Cryptos *** https://www.cryptsy.com/ *** on: May 22, 2013, 12:54:28 AM
OK, lets call this the monopoly exchange, because these fail coins are worth about the same as Monopoly money.

I could make you a silverware drawer to hold all the future forks.

Really? That's what you want your 9th post to be?  Roll Eyes

Let the market decide.

The market already decided, when those coins stopped trading here Roll Eyes

As an example, I mined YAC, FC2 and WDC. 2 of those brought new inovations, and those 2, made me a fair bit of $$. FC2, well, I mined for a day, and moved from it to WDC
1795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did worldcoin take off, and not, say, royalcoin? on: May 21, 2013, 11:18:36 PM
full disclosure: I'm a little pissy I didn't hedge my bets on RYC at all. I mined it for I think 15 days straight? maybe more? and amassed 3000 coins.

I am very frustrated these are worth roughly the same as a bag of old salty dicks.

So I'm curious, what set the two apart?

Is it honestly just the name? Are people that into the transact speed on WDC?

I've switched over to WDC hoping to ride the profit chain for a little while, but of course, I recognize it's probably a dump, anyhow. We shall see, though!

Instant transactions. This will appeal greatly to online vendors, making it likely they will adopt it, eventually, giving it real value. RYC, was just 1 of many coins, that brought no inovation. Just a sad carbon copy, with ver minor alterations. Tons of people on the forums said, these coins were going nowhere, and people like you, chose not to listen.

Fail exchange, for fail coins. Keeping coins alive, that would otherwise just disapear, never to be heard from again.

You sure are a glimmer of hope.

Franko? Are you fucking kidding me?
1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinChoose - alternative site to show respective profitability of the alt coins on: May 21, 2013, 11:02:33 PM
Where did RYC go Huh

RYC profitability is in the negatives, so....

I think it is at about 30 - 40% based on open trades.  Not negative (which would be impossible) Smiley

Um, is electricty costs more, than what you make minnig the coin, that is negative income Roll Eyes

1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTSY.COM- new excellent exchange launched!! on: May 21, 2013, 10:58:30 PM
I'm so pissed by that message. CRYPTSY will never be taken seriously, if it's willing to take any coin that comes out. There's a reason exchanges don't just added any old coin, it hurts their credibility. CRYPTSY will forever be, a fail exchange, for fail coins. Fuck off with PWC got on an exchange. Bullshit.
