This week we mark the EU Sustainable Energy Week (25th-29th of October 2021) which is organized by the European Commission. This years theme is ˝Towards 2030: Reshaping the European Energy System.˝

Our first visit to the world-famous trade fair Dubai Expo 2020 is slowly coming to an end. During the visit, we participated in the international conference "Rural Areas in 2040: Addressing the Global Challenges of Rural Areas with Smart Villages" organized by MEP Franc Bogovič. At the conference, Gregor Novak, Director of SunContract, presented our energy market, which, among other things, is an excellent technical solution for creating self-sufficient and climate-neutral villages and towns. The conference was also attended by many other eminent speakers, including Dubravka Šujica, President of the European Commission, Jože Podgoršek, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development of the Republic of Slovenia, etc.
In addition to the conference, Gregor also visited the thoughtfully set Slovenian pavilion and attended a lecture on Food Tech Valley.
