We are aware that every government is somewhat unique as far as the energy sector is concerned, that is why we'll first focus on countries, where we are most knowledgeable of energy policy framework. We plan to be present in several EU countries, for instance in Slovenia, Austria, Germany and also in some Middle Eastern countries like UAE (Dubai), Jordan and Turkey. Some jurisdictions could be covered without changing their existing regulatory framework for project implementation at the moment, and we will prepare to enter any other markets in the future.

Thanks, this is really our advantage. We have a team of people, who worked in energy business for a long time, have IT and blockchain knowledge and are very aware of security issues in energy, finance and crypto sectors.

The key of success is to know how energy sector is working now and where it can be improved, changed or disrupt. Blockchain supported solutions in energy sector have wide range of useful applications, but mostly they are not supported by regulations to be able to prevail.

SunContract project is oriented to the fields, where P2P energy market can be put into operation without prior regulatory changes. Such an example is a decentralized energy pool based on net metering scheme, which is adopted by regulators in many countries. Net metering is put on place to promote renewable energy sources like photovoltaic, wind, hydro and some other energy efficiency technologies like cogeneration. Merging net metering scheme with a blockchain supported services, we get completely different possibilities to provide more competitive and transparent service for consumers and producers.
