Finalization of Smart Contract. Our coder does not like to be bothered when he is in the zone  Cheesy

This ICO: how many ETH are you going to raise?

It is a good question. I'm also interested in it what is the minimal crowdfunding for this project?

It is hard to say how much ETH will we raise. It depends on how community will see us. We do not want to be greedy like some other ICOs lately so we made a roadmap in a way that would benefit contributors as much as possible. That is why it is formed in a way that if we raise maximum cap we will go aggressively to the market. So that actually max. cap means it would still be in best interest of all you. And bear in mind, team is keeping only 20% of supply for itself, not like some others.

Thanks for allowing me to learn about it more. I tried to join our slack channel it is asking sonce.com email or invitation. Sir, please share in pm. Thank for the help.

Hi,

try whit this one: https://join.slack.com/suncontractteam/shared_invite/MTg4NTk0NDk5NzkzLTE0OTYwMTAwNzktNDJkYzIwMDZmZQ

I am trying to save bitcoin as many as i can for the ICO of Sun Contract. This project is one of the best of 2017 and has good profit potential for long term investment.

Do not forget only ETH contributions are possible.

This is pretty exciting, and what a clever alternative to the usual.  I see similarities to Ether but also I see some brilliant pieces that actually improve on the projects that came before you.  Very exciting week coming up!
If you need any writers to create some cool content pointing your way, or if you want to get in the game with some Coremedia influence please contact me.

Check PM please

This project is promising, great work until now! I'm studying "Green economy" so this new decentralized energy market project is very attractive for me.

PS: Let me know if Italian translation is needed.

Hey,

thank you. We will keep you in mind in the case of need.

Just ordinary day at work, prepairing everything for ICO

Close some tabs, that's because your PC is slow Tongue, good job guys, there are less than 6 days until the ICO will start and I'm excited to see how the ICO will run and how much funds will be collected for this project. Since the SNC is compared directly with ETH does it mean that whatever the price of the ETH will be it will affect directly the SNC price/exchange rate?

Hehe too much work on too many different sites.

We cannot say for sure because market is crazy right now. Probably market price will be affected with pairs that SNC will be traded on exchanges (BTC/SNC or ETH/SNC - we will not know that until SNC get listed).

Just ordinary day at work, prepairing everything for ICO

is that C# Cheesy
I can tell that is Visual Studio open, but I am not sure if that the code is C#. I cant tell if it has anything to do with SunContract or is it a random project open. because everything ETH related has nothing to do with C#, I am excited to see some altcoins or smart contracts written in C# though.

Cannot say, this is my coworker that is coder which I am not hehe. But all the coding will not be done just for ETH purposes, right now we are doing also some things that are for pilot project that will be basic for platform development.

what is the total coin supply?

"At the token sale, we will issue 1 billion SNC Ethereum based (ERC20) tokens that will represent 100% of the total supply"

You should read whitepaper if you want detailed information about this project

As we fixed amount created on raised ETH this number will depend on how much ETH will be raised. If we raise max. cap then there will be a bit more then 1 billion SNC. That number is approximation.

What has happened to Dimitri de Jonghe? Yesterday he was on the Advisors list, but now he is gone.

He asked us to remove him from our marketing campaign as there were some FUD attempts targeted at him from people that oppose ICOs in general. We're respecting his wish. There are several high profile advisors in our team that don't want to be publicly exposed for similar reasons and we will respect their privacy. That does not mean they are not working with us anymore. Teamwork is for us most important and we do not want to expose individuals and hurt them with such shady attemts from outsiders

The national grid is still my thinking to date, I expect suncontract to bring more development as you are the pioneer of this contract development innovation. I also want to know, if it goes according to plan, the people in which country will run the cooperation with suncontract.

Right now everything goes according to the plan. Pilot project is showing promising results so we are confident about our model

Congratulations. In pliot project itself as I see suncontract project getting positive review in many thread as noticed. Hopefully these kind of eco friendly projects in bitcoin will gives out the energy for the people in project and thought wise. If it is any site maintenance related job means kindly let me I would like to part of any freelancing work. I have 2 years exp in Splunk web analysis and tqvfactor production analysis.

Hey,

please join our slack and PM us with more detailed explanation on your expertise.

Yes, the short video is already out there but it's just an introduction.
You can't see where is the National Grid in the loop. It's just the Producer -SunContract - Consumer.
So for those who are wondering, where is the National Grid in the picture, even if it's obvious that SunContract will do the direct collab with them or they can be out of the picture in some cases? Still, it should be clear to the users.
So I believe, the team can still provide much detailed video regarding this project. Some info are already in the whitepaper but the role of National Grid is not emphasized or maybe a complete flow chart will explain that. In what instances they (National Grid) are not participating in? Because there are some places that will not allow the direct negotiation with the consumers.

This is exactly what we need. The video or blog doesn't mention the role of the national grid, if they refuse to get involved in smart contracts then how do we use suncontract?

If the national grid prefer to use resellers and real money then suncontracts can't be used? I like the idea, but it seems to rely heavily on the cooperation of the national grids to succeed.

We will upgrade everything with additional blog posts and even videos. This days we are working hard to prepair everything for the upcoming ICO, like Smart Contract, ensure security and priority pass etc. We are writing down all your propositions and will try to make it happen as soon as possible.

Seems team members are very active in answering all question raised by the investors. What is the additional smart contract that you are going add after the ICO? Keeping updates to members will grow interested towards the project.

Smart contracts will be essential for the platform we are building.

Some people needs to learn how the energy market is really working. Wink
Very interesting new approach. Congrats to the makers of SNC!

I have a much more trivial question, are the 11.500 SNC written in European or US dezimal form. So is it "eleven-thausand-five-hundret" or "eleven" "dot" "five-hundret"?
Which makes a little big difference Cheesy

Cheers!

Hehe nice observation. It is European standard, so we offer eleven-thausand-five-hundret SNC per 1 ETH.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SNC] SunContract - Decentralized Energy Market on: June 20, 2017, 11:03:59 AM
Is it going to be on exchange after ICO finished?

it will depends on the exchanges if they will list SNC on their exchange, if SNC team are willing to pay for their coins to be listed, i think in 1 week time we will see SNC tokens in exchanges Smiley
I think this movement is obvious. The token will eventually be listed in various exchange and there's nothing to worry about it, as I've seen from the history of crowdfunding in this forum, there's none of them which could gather funds are ignored by the exchange, both will have their communication on that matter, so calm down guys.

correct, most of the time exchanges will race on which of them can list the coin after the release so they can get the trading fees first than others LOL

hopefully it will be a big exchange and not those with low volumes

We can confirm that we are speaking with few biggest exchanges already

That's a very simple logic on how you look at this project. So people here can visualize how SunContract plays a role in the distribution of energy.
But for others who can't imagine how this works, a video might assist them to further understand the importance of SunContract.
---

An explanation blog/video would be useful. We know how smart contracts work, but it's the delivery of the electricity through the grid to the buyer that is hard to understand.

The video was always there to introduce suncontract to new users. Here is  the link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hk40TibbfQc
It was on the OP !

And their blog is : http://blog.suncontract.org/

Liberalized networks will be our priority and there we shouldnt have so much trouble. We will also have a lot of funds reserved for legal issues
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SNC] SunContract - Decentralized Energy Market on: June 20, 2017, 07:02:37 AM
It is easy to sell extra electricity back to the national grid as we are already connected to it. But how do we give this extra electricity to the buyer after creating a contract?

Great idea, but struggling to see how the logistics will work - perhaps we need permission and setup payment to the national grid to setup a channel specifically from your home to the buyer (if they will even allow it)?

in most countries, the provider for the electrical grid has already everything in place for the single user to contribute to the grid! and they buy your excess energy and use it to supplement your nearby users as they will direct your sold energy to where it is needed! its a small contract with great benefits and changes from one region to another and  from country to country but almost all are on the same level of things ...

Exactly like that. Grid operator takes care of electricity when it comes to the network. System will not be very different from how now works but we will just eliminate retailers margins and make it way more cost efficient

So the smart contract is between e.g. me and the national grid only, not between me and another person in the next town?

If someone in the next town wants to setup a smart contract with me, i will surely need the national grid to co-operate (channeling my electricity to their house)?

Electrical grids do not work in that way. You will always need to use national grid, only if you do not connect yourself with someone next to you. Other things would be just too expensive. Smart contract will be between you and a buyer. Everything else will be taken care of by platform

It seems i wasnt the only One not aware of this fact, many people dont know how electricity grid really works, maybe we should make a detailed video to explain It and how suncontract will interact with it

Yes we see that. Sometimes you are to long in a system so you forget that it is quite hard to understand those things. We will write a explanation blog post and try also with video presentations.

I would expect that we need an agreement with the grid to transport our extra electricity to the buyer once the smart contract is done. How else to we move the electricity to them as they are paying us for the extra power, not the grid?

Grid fees will still needs to be paid if you will use it. Maybe you could avoid that in local community though. So nobody is paying for extra power, you will just pay to the best seller as is the case when buying an internet provider or telephone service.

Dear Dev,
i wanna invest some money to your good project but i don't know how do i invest this project. could you please help me with guideline.
advance thanking you

Romeo

me too I will invest some money on this project because I think this project will be
boom the trading industries and will be profitable some day for more info read the info
on the top, you will know when the token will be released and for more updates,
save your money now and invest on this project to have a good future someday

Make sure to subscribe to our mailing list on our web site. We will send ICO and Priority pass (Pre-ICO) information only through mailing list.

you cant sell electricity randomly to some person who wants to buy...

how do you plan to do that? getting cables from producers to buyers? or do you think distribution network will play the middle man?

National grid can be used by anyone who is willing to provide green energy. There would not be any point in building our own grid since there is always government to plan such a big infrastructure projects. In EU market is liberated so we can freely access it

In view of the imminent start of the ICO in just over a week's time, it is important to start spreading the word even more. Apart from BTCtalk and Reddit, I strongly suggest you start posting on the CCC Facebook group, which is the largest one. Make sure you provide a bit of info as to why this project is promising; that should be quite easy to do as this is one of the best-executed ideas I've recently heard of.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/cryptocurrencycollectorsclub/?fref=nf

Thank you, we have a member who posted it. Can you see it?
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SNC] SunContract - Decentralized Energy Market on: June 19, 2017, 01:33:00 PM
National grid will still distribute energy (this might not be the case in local communities). But platform will provide you an opportunity to buy electricity directly from producer. As you would buy flour directly from miller instead from Tesco/Aldi/etc
So, you're hoping that National Grid will adopt this? Those are some pretty big plans.
Otherwise, if your power came form National Grid then you can't choose who it came from or even know who it came from. In order to have a decentralized exchange of power you'd need your own network with this software.

There are certain goal for reduction of carbon footprint and the only way to meet those is to accept anyone to the grid that is willing to produce green energy. And where energy sector is liberalized grid operator has to accept everyone

I believe the idea is that the idea was to have a power grid that relied solely on this and had nothing to do with national grid -- it's very interesting tech, but it's really up to somebody who's not the developer and in need of something like this to adopt this coin.

Since suncontact ICO will be louche on Monday by 1pm I expect this project to be the most invested project for 2017. Many people I have spoke with said good thing about this project.
its very good news for us because maximum people are waiting for ICO and I am sure that a lot of people will be invest their Bitcoin in huge amount in this project because it seems really a serious project and I am sure this project will we get much more popularity and also  will be successful project in the future.
Projects with a large number of investors will certainly make the trust increasing. So that should be done is to attract as many investors as possible by providing the vision and mission to be achieved. I am sure it can push the project ahead and also become a project that many people are waiting for in the future.
Definitely, it has already shown in its performance that many investors had invested here and of course the trust has been seen by all investors.
And as you can see that the product is very useful in our life so there is no waste investment here.

In coming days we will announce one big milestone that we hit. Big name from community has joined our team. Can you guess who might be that?  Smiley

Ok so since nobody guessed who might that be we will provide an answer. Our team is now richer for BigChainDB developer Dimitri de Jonghe. You can read more about it here.

We are super excited about that since Dimitri has a lot of blockchain expertise and will be able to really help us with our development plan.
