Only if it's served with some fava beans and a nice chianti Grin

Seriously...gross. And...do too much of it and you'll end up with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Dividend Token - The world's first email based cryptocurrency on: January 25, 2018, 10:52:31 PM
This is the very first airdrop project I joined with, been too excited to see its development going. But I never seen any progress just like the promised airdrop thing. This must be one of the scam coins, so bad...

The airdrop got pushed back, and pushed back, and pushed back. "CEO" has a real attitude problem, getting pissy with people when they ask why the dates keep changing. I finally gave up and left the Telegram group a few days ago. Wouldn't hold your breath for this one. They may prove me wrong, but so far, they've handled themselves like rank amateurs.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin vulnerable to quantum computing? on: January 25, 2018, 04:25:51 AM
We're no where near "real" quantum computing yet, but traditional encryption will probably be fairly easy to break once it does.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Grain.io • The Backbone Of Modern Work Agreements on: January 24, 2018, 06:51:27 PM
Looks pretty interesting. Are there any press-releases the team can share?

On a separate note...I probably shouldn't be surprised to see that I have 2 degrees of separation from the team on LinkedIn, but I always am.

Break a leg guys.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why media against bitcoin ? on: January 24, 2018, 06:45:02 PM
Echoing what's already been said here a dozen times...fear.

That said, there's actually a lot of positive coverage too, but the negativity stems from is dark-web roots, lack of governance, lack of comprehension, etc., etc. Things are changing though. Major investment firms have started trading Bitcoin, Australia's biggest gold refinery (Perth Mint) is about to launch a gold backed crypto, and the Dallas Mavericks are about to start accepting BTC as payment (KFC in Canada already does). All in all, I cal that pretty positive.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Piggies - Charitable airdrop/token sale - Project concluded on: January 23, 2018, 11:30:11 PM
im just curious if the piggies are in listed in the market now? and what kind of market? i just want to know the information.. but so far i like this project from being a charitable platform to help animals..
I am also looking for an answer to that question and until now I have not found it yet. I do not know which piggies are listed on the exchange. We can only hope piggies are immediately listed on the exchange.

Etherdelta. I would not expect too much from the project now though, it was for a charitable cause rather than a coin aimed to make a profit for us. The dev will not be active on this in any way.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect any further development on this project. It was more of a social experiment and charity drive. The tokens can be traded on Etherdelta, but it may cost you more in ETH to trade them than you'd make from selling them.

This ICO can not be missed in any way! Join the great idea.

Umm??? Did you hit reply in the wrong thread? 'Cause I have no idea what you're talking about.

Interesting project. Have you considered partnering up with Quanstamp to audit your contracts? Could be a good one-two combo for ICOs.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MONERO in 5 years on: January 23, 2018, 10:28:56 PM
I think it could easily go to $20k, but...there's a huge push amongst governments to stamp out true anonymity, with Monero at the top of their list. If it gets dumped by exchanges trying to stay compliant, it could go in the opposite direction.
191  Other / Archival / Re: Ethereum Will the Next Bitcoin? on: January 23, 2018, 10:24:51 PM
It's possible...after all, anything is, but Bitcoin is a household name. Ethereum still has a little way to go to get to that status level. Ripple could also give them both a run for their money.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][pre-ico]WeAre - Revolution in Helping Investors and Founders with ICO on: January 23, 2018, 05:08:28 PM
Are WeAre launching their own blockchain and wallet, or is the being built on Ethereum or WAVES? Reading through the whitepaper, it sounds like the might be using the WAVES DEX. Can anyone confirm?

Hi,
On pre-sale we are using Ethereum blockchain but by the ICO we will make our own blockchain based on Hyperledger. Our token will also be a multichain token and it will be simultaneously on several networks.

Cool. thanks for the feedback. Hyperledger is definitely a good option, not sure if you've looked at hash craft too, but that could be a good alternative.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💪[ANN][PRE-SALE] CAVIAR: De-Risking Your Crypto Investments With Real Estate💪 on: January 23, 2018, 05:06:53 PM
We had a few questions about the recent news around the State of Massachusetts Secretary of State's office action against Caviar. The nature of their complaint states that an agent at the Secretary of State's office was able to participate in Caviar's ICO with a fake passport, and that Caviar was not doing enough to screen participants and ensure that no residents of the State of MA could participate.

As most of you are aware, Caviar's position has always been to not accept any contributors from the US and the Cayman Islands, the team has been very upfront on this from the very start. Caviar is a Cayman Islands registered company, run by a team from various states and countries. Caviar's whitepaper, website and KYC are all designed to prevent residents of US and Cayman Islands from participating, and we take this very seriously.

We are very disappointed by this action, we do not feel anyone in the State of MA has been harmed. Out legal team is working on a response, we hope to have a meaningful dialogue with the Secretary and resolve this matter.

We will provide news updates as they become available.

Thank you for addressing this issue. I think its fair to say that everyone on this thread wants Caviar to succeed and information to show that action is being taken and that there is an intention to fight the claim is great. It seems unfair to put the burden on the company when they have specifically excluded business from certain participants. Why cant Caviar assume that persons will act in good faith and when they click the I agree to the terms that they actually agree to the terms of the token sale. Faith has been restored and I look forward to future news.

Appreciate the explanation and also wish the team good luck. SEC is cracking down on ICOs, sucks for me, but that's just the way it goes unfortunately.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRE-ICO][WHO] l WorldHotelOrganization 1st RE-PAY SYSTEM on: January 21, 2018, 06:06:24 PM
Does the re-pay system act as a liquidity pool similar to Tether? Or are you controlling the lowest market rate by having a minimum buy back price? I'm assuming that there's no restriction or control over upwards inflation, is that correct? Or are you aiming for a steady fixed price? I'm a little confused   Smiley

Any message coming from yobit when will they activate trading of blue? Im waiting for it ,maybe it will drive the price a liitle bit. I will not sell my blue if its not reach 5$.

Now 2 weeks and yobit not listed blue
the problem team blue dont do anything
team blue take your money from yobit and contact cryptopia and kucoin
we need more decision and work from you
coinexchange still not working until now
Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

Give the guys a break. Their support and dedication to this project is phenomenal - especially for a token that was distributed 100% free. It will get listed on other exchanges in due time, and issues with current exchanges were not caused by them. Patience my friend.

I'd love to find out more about this project, but I'm completely blocked as a US IP. I'm curious as to why the devs would use US properties in the marketing material, if US residents are blocked  Sad

198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest profit from an AirDrop? on: January 19, 2018, 06:18:42 PM
How and where to signup for airdrops? any major sites with this info?

Here's a fairly good resource: https://airdropalert.com/ I liked https://www.cryptohunterz.com better, as they used to break them down by type of coin/token, but they haven't posted an update in over a month.

I've also started a thread for WAVES based airdrops: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2729447.msg27939979#msg27939979 - If you learn about any more, please add them to the list.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest profit from an AirDrop? on: January 19, 2018, 06:13:38 PM
The biggest profit that I gained form airdrop is worth $1000 which is EXRN token, I also have one big regret from my airdrop because my old token BLUE which is from an airdrop hits $11000 now but I sell it in exchange two months ago for only $200.

I kept my BLUEs, thank dog. Definitely the best airdrop to date, and by a long shot. Most of them end up being worth $1-10. XNN was pretty good too (automated airdrop to ETH holders), it's currently worth around $65. Then there's the 20 other airdrops that still aren't listed, there may be a good one in there at some point, but most are junk.

I hope they can survive the Visa fallout. Here's the link to the article. Noticed it was edited in the quoted post: https://www.ccn.com/visa-ceo-we-wont-accept-bitcoin-directly/

Keep Calm & HODL. Have faith folks, they'll find a solution.
