181  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be worthless? on: April 02, 2019, 03:27:54 PM
Yes, bitcoin can be worthless because everything is worthless. Only us people agreed that it has a value. But because we are living in a civilized generation, anything can be worth from $1 to $1M depending on its usage or scarcity. And technology is always a worth of your money just like the expensive phones based on our own taste.
182  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-28] North Korean Hackers Don’t Give a $#%! about Crypto Winter on: April 02, 2019, 11:44:07 AM
Why should they?
It is "easy" money for them in some cases. It doesn't matter if we are in a bearish or in a bull market there is a chance for hackers in making money anonymously so they don't miss the chance to do it even in the Crypto Winter.

agreed. those who think about crypto winter are traders, speculators, or 'investors'. for those who can hack an exchange, it doesn't really matter how much Bitcoin or crypto worth, they can still make a ton in a short time.

It has always been cryptochristmas for all the hackers who have not been caught yet hehehe. The best hacker or group of hackers of them all is the Dao hacker. No one has gotten any leads on who he is or who they are.

There are still a lot of money out there of course. If they wanted to snatch a million dollar of crypto in value, would that change if it's in a bear market? The article who posted this must be barely using logic. It's even obvious in the coinmarketcap that the value of those digital assets are still billions in total so it's still always a hot summer vacation for these Lazarus hacker group.
183  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-24]Bank of Italy Calls Bitcoin Useless, Risky and Inefficient on: April 02, 2019, 06:56:15 AM
Dangerous?....for the Italian mafia groups? In that statement, I do agree but not the statement from the bank of italy.  I only see the risk of them getting exposed when they need to transact through bitcoin because whatever influence or power they got, they can't send anyone to clean that mess.
184  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-31] Bitcoin [BTC] ETF: SEC stalls proposal yet again; decision pushed.. on: April 02, 2019, 03:24:41 AM
Extended? Delayed? hahahaa Cheesy Give me some other words that perfectly describes ETF proposals than those that I have mentioned. I don't know if the SEC is doing an unlimited April Fool's joke on those who proposes the ETF and especially us that supports the cryptocurrency technology.
185  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-23]Bitcoin Bull Run Expected in August, Tom Lee Says on: April 01, 2019, 03:33:21 PM
I'm just amazed that this guy is still because I'm imagining all the rich people that rely on his predictions and turned out to be just a hype at all.
Tom Lee should just shift in the comedic arts because he is a pure joke right from the start and he does not contribute any positive in the industry.
186  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-22] NZ: Hacked Crypto Exchange Cryptopia Reopens its Trading Services on: April 01, 2019, 01:48:23 AM
I used to trade on Cryptopia from time to time and found the exchange interesting for smaller coins. Even if I didn't suffer any loss from the hack, I won't trade there anymore - even if the handling and communication with the event was exemplary from Cryptopia in my opinion. My trust was lost.
Being hacked two row in a month is very alarming and may end of losing trust from investors ,i never use Cryptopia for trading as i only make my activities from bigger and stable exchangers but i will not put any trust to risk my funds on them.maybe this may serve an eye opener for the future investors to think more than twice before using their service for security measures
There are really instances which you can really avoid not to trade on some exchangers specially when your coins is only being traded on there, so you dont have any choice but
to deal with it.
Hacked two row in a month is really alarming and i dont know if theres still someone would use up this exchange.Even a single incident would be enough for me to leave.

That's correct. We should not tolerate their irresponsible management on their exchange so that other exchanges will tighten their security much more or it's game over for them. I really thought they are in for an exit scam but I guess I was wrong.

188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin be the same if Satoshi wasn't anonymous? on: March 30, 2019, 09:38:31 AM
How would the crypto arena be different if everyone knew who Satoshi was?

I think we 'll reach mass adoption much faster in my opinion. Because if you noticed, some group of fighting each other that bitcoin should be like or bitcoin should be like that and thus making many forks. If Satoshi was here, there is going to be only one btc. And I bet Satoshi will have the same status as what Zuckerburg has.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is completely legal in at least 111 countries, and illegal in only 10 on: March 30, 2019, 07:34:28 AM
Those numbers obviously states that bitcoin already have the trust of much more people around the world and those who don't. And they are not just a hundred countries that are third world but most of them are powerful countries that has a great contribution on the world economy. If that does not still convince those countries who made it illegal then it's a huge loss for them.
190  Other / Off-topic / Re: The end of all ends on: March 30, 2019, 03:08:43 AM
Hello!
We, all crypto users are wish a long life to bitcoin to it continue to bring us some extra profit on different ways. But one day something new will replace bitcoin. My question is - how many year you give to bitcoin before it will turn totally useless?

It will stay for more than many centuries for sure. Then end you are talking about is clearly like the doom of humanity or the industry which is always can happen now or in the future but nobody knows if it is really going to happen. So if  we disregard that then we can be positively sure that btc is going to stay for that long.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM's are popping up on: March 22, 2019, 01:05:27 AM
Some businesses in the Las Vegas area have Bitcoin ATM (automated teller machine) for their customers to use:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrL4Zgr6vfw&t=

I have a feeling that huge casinos and gambling place will place a lot of bitcoin ATMs in the future. I'm seeing the benefits of what they can get with that because imagine those bigtime gamblers who does not need to withdraw from banks or make a long transaction before they can play again. Instead, they can just transfer their btc on that atm to withdraw fiat again.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption: Don't just sit down, do something on: March 21, 2019, 03:39:32 AM
That's very inspiring but I do think that the huge impact that will lead to mainstream adoption is already on the way. Your contribution will work but will take a very long time to succeed. While those huge companies like Google, samsung and particularly Facebook will soon introduce their own coin globally.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another proof that cloud mining is a scam on: March 21, 2019, 01:34:12 AM
When I started in bitcoin, cloud mining and hyip are the things that attract me the most when I was still looking for an easy way to make money. It was all scams and some will even try to make a reputation for a year to attract more but in the end they will also disappear like the others. You don't have any assurance on those cloud minings and it's a very risky transaction right from the start.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Virtual money is really the future of the world in the 4.0 era on: March 20, 2019, 12:25:15 PM
If you experienced going into banks, there's always long lines of customers who always wait for a long time just to deposit or withdraw their money and that  is really unacceptable for people who are always in a hurry. Standing and wondering why there is always a man or woman who is almost an hour on the desk and you just feel exhausted thinking about it. But thanks to innovation and I don't need to do that anymore and the virtual transactions is here.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to relieve stress from "crypto" scammers when all you value is bitcoin? on: March 19, 2019, 11:48:56 AM
I do believe that some of the top 10 altcoins in cmc has a place in the world like eos, ada and neo. The real shitcoins are those other altcoins that are now 1000-2000 in existence which are offering the same service, with the same system but with just different names.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never give up on: March 19, 2019, 02:33:45 AM
I played about with Bitcoins and litecoins and Feathercoins back in 2013. These were the days when Bitcoin was pretty easy to obtain through online mining pools and faucets ect.  As time went by,  I lost interest in Crypto and kinda forgot about it until Bitcoin hit 19k in 2017 . By this time I had changed my computer and hard drives and along with it all my passwords and wallets and dat files,  to cut a long story short I searched all over for my old hardrives, ran recovery on one of the drives I had kept and found nothing I gave up searching and just got used to the fact that I had lost a lot of money.

Fast foward to 2019 we were cleaning out a cuboard and at the very back was a shoe box and in that shoebox were 3 hardrives one of which contained all my passwords, wallets and dat files for all my Bitcoins, Litecoin and Feathercoins. I may have lost out on when Bitcoin was at its best but I now have all the info I need. I have sold some of it and will hold the rest until Bitcoin goes up again and it will. The money I got from selling some of the bitcoin and litecoin even though not at its highest I basically got for doing nothing apart from online pool mining  and playing with faucets  back in 2013,  so im happy with it. Never give up if you have lost money on Cryptos and if you did what I did keep,  looking for that lost hardrive it will turn up eventully.  In 2019 it is so easy to buy and sell Bitcoions too and it was instant money from selling to transfering the moeny into paypal then into my bank account.  How things have changed for the better for cryotocoins Smiley

I'm not sure if I want to feel rejoice or upset on what happened to you OP. You could have search all over your place in that time then you could have sold all your crypto with a much higher price. But still, you should not also sold it on this time and you just continue to hold because I believe that the next bull run is far greater than in 2017.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you buy National Lottery tickets with Bitcoin in your country? on: March 14, 2019, 06:41:21 AM
I am just curious to know if you can buy lottery tickets for your own national lottery in your country. I am not referring to all these scam gambling sites with supposed "Provably Fair" lottery systems.

I bought some lottery tickets online and I was only presented with the old traditional payment options and I figured it is time for us to approach these Lottery operators, to ask for a Bitcoin payment option.  Wink

If enough people ask for this, they just might consider giving us that option to pay with bitcoins.  Grin  What payment options do you have for online lottery in your country?

I envy your country because you can buy your lotto tickest online while in our country, it is still on a traditional way of falling in line and much harder when the jackpot hits billion. Thanks for that idea and I will propose that in our country and suggest not just online but also the cryptocurrency payment like btc.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto the movie about bear on wallstreet released their trailer. on: March 14, 2019, 12:43:05 AM
"In this cyber-thriller starring Kurt Russell and Beau Knapp, a Wall Street banker connects a small-town art gallery to a global conspiracy, putting his own family in grave danger."
Stars Kurt russell and Luke hemsworth Thors brother. Cheesy
I do not like the premise of this movie but there is a trailer about it.

https://youtu.be/kYZut3DWvek

What do you think this will be the public perspective on cryptocurrenies and its uses once the movie is released.

I've seen the trailer and the comment on YT are saying it is a propaganda against us and I also agree to them that the quality of the movie really sucks. It shows that they use BTC to do laundering when everybody knows here that it is traceable and it's still favorable for huge money launderers to use fiat and banks.
199  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any real way to earn bitcoin without investment? on: March 13, 2019, 12:44:44 PM
As with the passage of time more people are entering the cryptoworld and we can see there are many scammers nowadays so can you suggest any ways where newbies could earn btc without investment.

Easier tasks will give you altcoins and sometimes altcoins that are still not listed or no idea if it has value. But skills like coding, marketing or managing can give you either cash or btc which is an option in a market like this. Long before this crash, signature campaigns was an easy way to earn btc but things changed.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy says crypto ruined his life but he spent it on a high risk lifestyle on: March 12, 2019, 12:40:21 PM
You know what, I would do the same. Except that part where OP did not care to save some for the next years and did not think about the future. It's not bad to treat yourself when you made a lot of money but do not also forget to help others and give back to the needy so you will be blessed again.
