181  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | 0.28% House edge | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: January 31, 2022, 08:31:58 PM

The desire to reach the VIP level may be delayed for some of the small bag holders as the wagering amount is the tier to 1btc but then I know the blackjack fun team always listen to feedback and always take actions that will serve the interest of their player and as a new gambling site reducing the VIP level wagering amount will help to attract more players to the site.

VIP system still in design we will see after official launch , nice to see blackjack.fun to hear any suggestions here like the last update about the license is already available and next we want to see live support because a few hours ago I saw RealWinner asking in the chat room no one has responded yet.
I know blackjack.fun responds via email but it's  better if live supports are available.

@Wiwo as far as I know about the admin he has a very open mind, and often will change if most of the users demand for it and it’s a reasonable demand, and from my basic understanding he’ll definitely want to consider changing the VIP level wagering amount. @Dewi Aries I have seen the admin and Sujan active in the chat, maybe it’s was a weekend that’s why they were not around, but going ahead having live support on the weekend is not a bad idea, and who knows it maybe implemented soon if the admin feels the need for it.

I've heard very good things about this casino as well. The owner seems very responsive to change which is excellent.

I have tried to play on the site but unfortunately the layout is kind of wacky on a mac. Not sure if this is something that only I'm experiencing right now?

Hopefully it does get fixed since this is a project with great potential.
182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 31, 2022, 08:38:54 AM
I blame Frank Vogel. He used to be one of my favorite coaches before this year, but he’s absolutely terrible for the Lakers. A team with 5 hall of famers and Malik Monk is leading them… Dwight Howard playing at a top level and getting next to no minutes is downright disrespectful. If Frank Vogel is still the Lakers coach after the all star break then I’ll be shocked. He’s a great guy and like I said one of my favorite coaches, but he’s got to go if the Lakers want to have a chance of getting beyond the first round of the playoffs, and to be honest if he’s the coach I don’t see them getting past the play-in game.

I'm not sure why Vogel even deserved the credit for the Lakers winning.

But yeah, it's definitely time to swap him out for someone else with fresh ideas and a better leader in my opinion. It's not an easy job and definitely not for anyone so the Buss family needs to choose wisely.

But honestly, the championship chances with LeBron at the helm is slim - he is aging at the end of the day.
183  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino behavior that turn you off on: January 31, 2022, 08:28:46 AM
slow in responding to customer complaints, this is the thing i hate.  in the past when i was still playing on fiat-based gambling sites, i always experienced this, several times when my bet was hit, an error occurred, but when i wanted to complain, they only answered 24 hours later, it was a bad experience and the what i hate the most.

Yeah that really sucks.

I don't mind if a casino has some small scale issues so long as they are responsive to these problems.

But if they have terrible customer support, this is completely unacceptable - if you have issues you have the responsibility to resolve them for your clients.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling In Crypto on: January 29, 2022, 01:22:00 AM
Recently I have started to gamble with crypto, and other coins. Looking to speak with anyone who has had similar experiences. I find it much more effective than gambling with fiat. Let’s use this thread to discuss pros/cons and how us users can improve it!

Thanks!

The community aspect of most crypto casinos are simply unmatched by current fiat counterparts.

Also, the fact that you can deposit and withdraw funds almost on an instantaneous basis is definitely worth using crypto tokens imo.

Plus, if you were bullish on crypto (like me), you don't necessarily want to gamble in a native fiat ecosystem as you miss out on the potential capital gains that crypto brings to the table.

I see a really nice game between Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers tonight. Clippers are having a so unlucky season that they don't have Paul George and Kawhi Leonard due to long-lasting injuries. But they are still holding onto the playoff zone as strong as possible now. And Heat are just amazing now. They are the leader of their conference now. They are showing a really great performance this season and I already wonder about what they would do in the playoffs. As for this game, I'm favouring Heat to win for sure.

Heat will win this, I also favor them to win on their home court, however, the betting line or the point spread is very high, I think the Clippers will be able to cover it as they are still very competitive despite losing their 2 all stars (Leonard and George).  I know I will enjoy watching this game, I hope my expectation that it will be a close game will happen.  Smiley

I wouldn't bet against the Clippers.

I've got Clippers with the benefit of the spread. Even though they are without their best players, it's clear that they are still an extremely competitive basketball team (as illustrated by their various comebacks in the past few weeks).

Much value to be had imo and it's not just luck.
186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: little knowledge about gambling - before I knowing bitcointalk.org forum on: January 29, 2022, 01:00:45 AM
As we know that Gambling offers players the chance to pocket a lot of money, but it can also lead to significant monetary losses (which we all had). Even though I'm new to this forum, but I want to share a little experience related to gambling on various online sites. While you may hear it often, here's a snippet:
1. Know when is the right time to stop playing.
2. Set limits and monitor your money.
3. Safeguard your budget.
The best gamblers I know are constantly vigilant and always evaluate the balance between losses and gains.
And The best advice I could give to someone who wants to start gambling is probably to never start gambling to win. It's definitely the worst approach that in the long run leads to the financial ruin of any novice gambler.

These are all really good advice.

I think that most of the time, you are going to find that gambling is just a form of entertainment.

If you take it to be something more than that you are probably going to lose money - at the end of the day, the games that you play will have to benefit the 'house' and you will always get the shorter end of the stick regardless of how hard you try.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 24, 2022, 12:03:20 PM
Miami Heat - LA Lakers game was really delightful and Heat won the game just as I expected. It was a 113-107 victory and Heat totally deserved it by a great team play. Lebron was Lakers' best as always. He got 33 pts, 11 reb. This time, Westbrook also played well and he got 24 pts, 9 reb, 9 ast. He was really close to making a triple-double. But Lakers still lost the game as the rest of the players couldn't contribute too much. Heat have captured the lead in the conference again by this win and I really wonder what they will do in the playoffs.

It was an entertaining match I have to say. Even though the Lakers played really well in the last quarter, but it was not enough for them to get the win.
Heat got the early lead in the first quarter as they were 39-25. Butler is back and he scored 20 points with 12 assists and 10 rebounds. Duncan Robinson gave him good support by scoring 25 points. Lebron is as always the goat for the Lakers, he scored 33 points, and to my surprise, WB also played a good game but you know, it wasn't enough to beat the Heat.

When you have Westbrook and LeBron having great games and it's still not enough to overcome an opponent, you know that something is wrong with the supporting cast.

Please don't blame Vogel, Lebron, or Westbrook for this. It's essentially a disaster in the making given that they are such a badly constructed team.

The lack of continuity between seasons is certainly a contributing factor towards their demise as well.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the potential of the Polygon? on: January 24, 2022, 11:59:22 AM
Hello,
I know in the cryptocurrency of the world, it is almost impossible to estimate the price, but I want to know the users and experts opinions about the price and the potential of the Polygon in the future. Please share your opinions.

Thank you.

I think that there are going to be other L2 scaling solutions that will come out with time.

With that said, I think that Polygon will definitely be one of the premier scaling solutions for ETH for quite some time to come.

In terms of price action, I think that it will hit $10 as a matter of time simply because ETH is going to become more and more unusable despite what people say about ETH2.0 - it's never going to become a close to feeless blockchain like L2 scaling solutions offer.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This use case even make any sense? on: January 24, 2022, 11:30:48 AM
Do you know that there are many tokens that offers nothing but rewards when holding them? They most times ends with ---nomics you hold the tokens you get some altcoins in your wallet every 4hrs or so, what is your view on such projects?

You mean rebase tokens?

Most of them are essentially ponzi schemes that offer early adopters significantly higher rates of return compared to the latter ones.

As you said, there is virtually no practical use case for these tokens and as a result there is pretty much no long-term prospect for them. OHM forks are already dying out - just look at Klimadao, Wonderland and Olympusdao itself and their price action over the past few days.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2022: Bullish or bearish for crypto? on: January 24, 2022, 05:05:20 AM
Ever since the start of January 2022, crypto has been on a bearish trend. There hasn't been any major movement in crypto prices, as the excitement has faded away. It seems to me that the year will be a bearish one (although crypto is widely unpredictable). All eyes are on Bitcoin, as it's the main mover of the market. If Bitcoin goes up, so will Ethereum and other altcoins. Regardless of the price, development is still on-going.

What do you think? Will 2022 be a bearish or bullish year for crypto? Why do you think it'll be that way? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

And... It is the bear market.

Unfortunately for those who have levered up too much, too soon, the crypto markets have absolutely tumbled.

I think that BTC will continue its downward trend for quite some time as it has seen major gains over the past year with the easy monetary conditions. Now that is gone, we should see a major pullback lasting for at least a year or two. But you should start accumulating now as it is nearly impossible to time the bottom.
191  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who saw the Bear market coming? on: January 24, 2022, 04:11:16 AM
Tried to tell my friends back in the summer that $60k+ was a good time to sell because bear market was incoming.

No one listened. They all were hypnotized by the YouTubers shilling alt coins and thought another 10x was around the corner.

Now, 6 months later they are all talking about the crash incoming.

N00bs....

There are also just as many people who called the top way earlier than the actual top...

What's your point? No one can predict the future and hindsight is always 2020.

The people who are getting wiped out right now are either a) over-exuberant about the state of the crypto market or b) over-leveraged and have bad portfolio management. It's not that they did not know when the top is coming.
192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are spectacular returns over for bitcoin? on: January 24, 2022, 01:21:00 AM
Definitely expect calmer seas in the upcoming months/years.

As anticipated, this bull market run didn't have as much % ROI as previous ones just because of the fact that BTC market cap is already so mature.

Same trend will continue to happen even past this bear market. Obviously expect huge dumps this bear market and for the $20k support to be tested, but apart from that future bull markets should also be relatively tamed compared to the current one.
193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $30k the bottom for this dip? on: January 24, 2022, 01:07:29 AM
The entire cryptocurrency market is on a blood bath level most cryptocurrency witness a higher percentage of price drop which have turned so many analysts to speculate the next stop price before the bull run, if you have been flowing up with recent price actions it show Bitcoin losing almost 7% of it price falling back to 38k and have been struggling to maintain that price level up till now.
Will the 30k price benchmark be the next bottom line before the rise?

I highly doubt it.

I think we will actually go down to below $20k surprisingly, even though some people seem to think that the bear market will not go that low.

The increase in interest rates is going to be a big hit to all risk-on assets in my opinion and I think that it will hit much harder than people expect since inflation is still high.

Have plenty of liquidity for the next 2 years or so on standby ready to be deployed.
194  Economy / Speculation / Re: are we going to have "fear" months? on: January 24, 2022, 12:35:10 AM
one one hand we have Omicron and the mark that it is leaving on the world economy.
on the other hand we have the bitcoin price failing to stay above $50k and all the FUD that came after that.

i can't predict the impact of all this on the price since the current $41k is already way below what the actual price should be, but i can expect a month or two of "fear" where people are scared of buying bitcoin and eventually start hoping for a drop so that they can buy more (something like what we saw during $30k period in the middle of 2021).

do you think January and possibly February could be the Fearuary months?

I think that is a pretty fair statement to make.

There is virtually no bullishness left in the marketplace, which is fair enough given that you are looking at a stage in the bull market without much new money. It's really just a zero sum game right now, with people trading against people.

Definitely expect more dumps to come in the next few months. I think that markets are fatigued and the path down faces much less resistance than the path up right now.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 24, 2022, 12:24:19 AM
Do you guys think CP3 has a chance to win the MVP race if we are not looking at just stats only?
Obviously, when it comes to stats Nikola Jokic will be the winner of it but when it comes to impact to the whole team and how he administered the Phoenix Suns in good and bad times CP3 has the upper hand. Those kinds will not be seen in stats but you can see it with how he maneuvers the pace of the game whenever they need it.
Isiah Thomas thinks so and I do see his point after watching the Suns game.

No.

I don't think that CP3 is actually that important to the Suns. The coaching staff and the rest of the supporting cast are much more significant in my opinion.

He is definitely the orchestrator but I don't think that you can say with 100% confidence that he has more impact on his team compared to Giannis, KD, or Jokic.

Disagree. The current Phoenix Suns are already on the roster (at most) back when Chris Paul is not playing there.

When Chris Paul comes, it's like everything has changed and they even got to Finals. Devin Booker is already grabbing lots of points for the Suns before draining lots of 3 points but where does the team always end? They are not even reaching the playoffs.

We can't hide the fact that Chris Paul changed the team and it's like all of them are following Chris Paul's advice.

Sure, but realistically is he going to win the MVP?

Has he had the impact on his team like Jokic and Giannis? I would highly disagree if you said yes. The Bucks in particular are absolutely nowhere without Giannis.

I understand that he is valuable, but the MVP award is given not just based off value but also off narratives. From both a value and narrative perspective, CP3 is not in the conversation right now.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do we call it bear market on: January 24, 2022, 12:07:55 AM
I m still watching closing trying to know if this is the bear market or market corrections. I don't want to panic and sell.
Lol.

What do you think

I think that there is not much point in trying to predict this.

This could be a correction, a bear market, a crash... Whatever you want to call it.

But at the end of the day, for me it's a reasonable price to buy most coins out there. So why not take advantage? Dollar cost average your way in, there were plenty of people willing to buy at $4k when price was $4k+ for ETH, but now they're all gone?
197  Economy / Gambling / Re: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets on: January 23, 2022, 11:58:28 PM
betfury is a gambling site with the best faucet rewards imo. just like you, i have also played on betfury since they had a campaign on this forum and at that time they provided a faucet to claim bitcoin and then ethereum. I also like their staking program, although the rewards given are not as much as when they first appeared but I am very happy with their consistency so far.

Second this.

Have played on BetFury numerous times previously and have to say that their rewards program including faucet is top notch.

Regarding BitVest and 777Coin, I don't think that anyone should waste time on them even if they offer rewards for participating in their giveaways or whatnot. You are wasting your time essentially imo because chances are your withdrawals will get stuck even if you get somewhere with your faucet funds.
198  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitVest, The worst casino I have ever seen on: January 23, 2022, 11:50:50 PM
but there is nothing to update in his part now , yeah he owns 2 casino but this does not need him to be active in chatting here , instead he is keeping the balance of His casino and the support is answering inquiries so i think we have no right to question his behavior and way of treating his own casinos.
and maybe he keeps getting online to check if there is serious matter that needs his attention and those trolling or nonsense topics that runs here and there.
lightlord is very active in this forum even today he is online several times. I think judging he bad things is inappropriate, he owns 2 big gambling sites and is one of the longest existing ones, so I think it's not wise to cast prejudice on he.

Just because he owns 2 casinos doesn't mean that the casinos are somehow reputable because of that.

The fact of the matter is that he is defrauding people because of the delayed withdrawals that are being held indefinitely. And it's not just one issue - it's multiple complaints about the same site, over and over again, and the fact that he is ignoring it instead of addressing it is laughable.

If he can't run the place he should move on from it or sell it. Not keeping it half dead, half alive.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Gas Fee is too High? on: January 23, 2022, 11:46:11 PM
Sometimes I feel not good after paying a High Fee on ETH, But I want's to know why this? Huh

I feel my emotions with this Huh

Well no one wants to pay hundreds of $ just to make a simple DeFi transaction...

I think it's probably wise for you to go to other chains, whether L2 or L1 to do smaller sized DeFi transactions. It's simply not feasible for retail investors to use ETH mainnet anymore.

Also, using a gas tracker will probably help you pick the best times to make a transaction (when there is less market congestion).
