Good morning all, I'm sorry about the outtage. The pool server is unreachable at the moment, which likely means DOS.
I'm working as quickly as I can to restore service.
UPDATE: The pool server's external IP is unreachable, though the machine is up and running just fine. I've contacted the datacenter and hope to have it available as soon as possible.
UPDATE: Server is back online. The physical network connection to the machine went out at the switch.

I'm glad to see your hashing power back online mike and that all the pools look healthy.
With the merged mining software and the multi coin framework, how much capacity do you think your servers have in terms of GH/s or workers? I've seen some of the merged mining pools have somewhat restrictive capacity limits and was wondering if this was a competitive advantage of simplecoin (at least until slush brings merged mining to his pool).
The pool should hold easily without additional servers or changes up to 250-500GH or so. That said, once I have my poolserverJ mods and multicoin client changes up, I should be able to scale to Deepbit size just by turning on new servers. The current load average of the main pool server sits around 0.05, maxes around .3, on an 8 core Xeon, RAID 10 server. That's a whole lot of headroom for more miners.

I had to take my 2 biggest machines offline for the day. The landlord is repainting that room (finally).

and again! magico bump!
strange, not sure if it is a problem.
i was mining btc / nmc prop. but received GG and NMC. i am not really interested in GG and wasnt expecting them. However, I am showing a negative balance for BTC of -2.7755575615628914e-17.
what this about?
Not sure, send me your username and I'll investigate. username: ellion Looks like a miniscule corrected error, the issue should be fixed for all who had the issue.

Already have in first post but here again it is User2525 and there is definitely a problem switched one machine off my normal pool to try the nmcbit and in half an hour on it I already have .1 using their PPS with ~200+ shares submitted that machine being a ~550mh/s one roughly 1/4 of the capacity I had pointed at your pool for 7 hours that got me an additional .3 NMC above the .55 I already had from my previous attempt at it on yours.
Edit: BTW it would be nice to see these rates you mentioned displayed on your site along with explanation of the pool options I can find neither there now.
There was an error in SMPPS nmc rewards, I have wiped them and they will be corrected shortly. Additionally, those rates and share counts are displayed on the stats page for BTC/NMC SMPPS. UPDATE: All NMC SMPPS rewards have been corrected. If you see any issues with your rewards, please let me know.

Yes, thanks for the quick fixes. "Current NMC Round Shares" is still wrong by the way.
Thanks for the fix. Current BTC Round Shares 32,088,941 Current NMC Round Shares 30,881,260 This can't be good... yeah just noticed that after seeing i had such low estimates of payout and looking for a reason. Oops. I was fixing the estimates and round shares, looks like I missed something. UPDATE: Yep, I missed a table prefix. All better. How about you check the actual payout engine because something is wrong no way I had 2gh/s running for 7 hours on it and only got .3 NMC out of the deal, User2525 on the site. The payout engine uses a different class altogether, it does not use the stats class for payment. Which pool? BTC/NMC SMPPS was sued for the miners. NMC payout on SMPPS is 0.0005317118249520 NMC per share BTC payout on SMPPS is 0.0000295974556606 BTC per share. If there is a discrepancy in your payout send me your username and I'll get it sorted. If there is a problem with all SMPPS shares, I'll wipe the slate and rerun the SMPPS calcs.

Your btc/nmc setup doesnt work. I was mining there and had accumulated a ton of time/shares on btc-prop block however once I stopped my nmc got transfered to unconfirmed and now btc estimate is down to 0 ? A prop pool should never drop estimate of shares on a prop block to 0 o_0 Also, you seem to keep resetting the prop pool on any blocks found nmc/gg etc. Yay, a block for PPLNS. Cheers cheisler850!
I don't have any unconfirmed NMC yet though. Is there a delay?
The pplns btc/nmc pool havnt found a btc block in nearly 3weeks, that recent block was nmc block. It works, your shares are still there. The stats might be off, but they'll be fixed shortly. Rewards & Payouts are working just fine. I'm not sure why your estimate is off, but I'm looking into it. Here is the main issue. The btc/nmc prop pool round shares reset whenever nmc block is found(also I randomly get gg coins mined on this pool) The estimate for btc/nmc pool is the same on btc block as it is on nmc block but it is clearly only accurate based on nmc shares per block. As soon as I stopped mining and nmc block got found my remaining estimate got cleared and moved to unconfirmed nmc and my btc estimate got set to 0 as if I am in a new btc block thus from what I can see removing all my previous btc submitted shares from the btc block. So clearly its not working right since there is now no trace of any btc mining on the btc/nmc pool for me ? No, the estimate is just wrong. Your btc shares didn't go away. I'm in the process of fixing the estimates and adding shares by currency to the stats pages.

Yes. The winning block calculations is faster now, so there is a perceived delay.

SC, Are you sure the PPLNS pool is working properly? We can't even find a NMC block, +400 hours on BTC... I feel like we're digging a hole to nowhere!
Nah, I know that you know what you're doing, but this is ridiculous!
Yep, we've just had a low hashrate and an unlucky round.
|
|
|
Check out Simplecoin, we've found quite a few NMC blocks with merged mining. Likewise the btc should follow with appropriate hashrate.

|
|
Merged mining is rolling along nicely. We've even found a few blocks!
For the stats, is there any possible way to separate the BTC and NMC shares ? Currently when the pool solves either, the shares counter resets. There should be 1 counter for each. This happens on both the website and API. Yes, I will be doing soon.

For TBX how do we do the setting? I have no issue with GG, but do not know how to set Tenebix.
You need the custom miner for tenebrix, located in the threads here and the tenebrix website.
