181  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mate global on: May 19, 2021, 11:31:16 AM
Are you talking about this https://www.mate-global.com/#/home?

I tried to browse the website but it seems like all of them are redirected to the app. Have you tried using their app btw? Honestly I think it's one of those shady exchanges looking at their UI and the first impression I got from them. Can't say for sure whether you can recover your asset or not, but I won't be that hopeful.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin I start mining on: May 19, 2021, 11:26:25 AM
The price of GPU is way overpriced right now. I also believe that it is better to wait for the next bear market before you build your right, or else you'll spend way too much just to get one or two 1660 TI.

Even the cheapest card cost more than $500.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron is number one coin Now Specially trc20 USDT on: May 19, 2021, 11:17:22 AM
Dude you don't need to create multiple threads to shill your love for usdt-tron. Especially if you're talking about it's fees. Better lock one of them and focus on one thread, so there's no need to repeat what others have said.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This Forum Members What's Wrong with You? on: May 19, 2021, 11:00:45 AM
You start by comparing tron and bitcoin, then USDT, and then Amazon. I honestly don't understand what your point is. Why are you comparing a network with a marketplace? Just for the fee comparison? That's great then. Might as well say fiat is the best because there is no fee included in face to face transaction, and you just need to use your hand.

Grow up man. Tron is not the only chain with insanely low fees. Fantom or Solana too. Don't shill too hard and ignore everything else.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin should be afraid of tron on: May 18, 2021, 04:29:55 PM
i use tron  trc20 usdt Stable coin. Thts Why Everybody is Happy about
If tron utility is just for that, I don't think it's gonna be a major problem for other chain like BSC or ETH, even Bitcoin. It's not like Bitcoin has an antagonistic relation with other chain either. You have to keep in mind that not everyone needs speed, sometimes they need security because they need to make a transaction worth 1 million usd or so and they don't want to risk it with a relatively weak chain.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Earn - Help me understand! on: May 18, 2021, 03:17:31 PM
There is always a risk of losing your money. Even Binance was hacked, no guarantee the same thing won't happen with their earn program.

If I were you, I'd rather use a P2P platform like yield.credit for lending. It allows you to earn more, and there's no centralized entity. It is riskier of course, but the gain is also bigger.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Argent wallet feedback required on: May 18, 2021, 12:27:56 PM
The recovery works through guardians - accounts you appoint to help with specific security functions. They could be friends, your hardware wallet, metamask. They can't access your private key and you can change them any time.
That doesn't sound like a good idea. So the users would have to rely on third-party to recover their wallet? Sounds more like a custodial wallet then. IMO the seed recovery thing doesn't need to be removed. If people need to rely on third-party then the purpose of non-custodial wallet would be gone. What would happen if your recovery device is gone, your friend went missing and so on then.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: best usdt-trc20 wallet? on: May 18, 2021, 11:15:31 AM
would be great if it was possible to add other networks on Metamask  Roll Eyes
You can do that already. For example you can add BSC, Fantom, and so on. Do you want to add tron network too? Maybe it's possible since Tron is a "copy" of ETH. Just take a look at their documentation.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and energy consumption on: May 18, 2021, 10:40:49 AM
If we can actually have a PoS solution, why not explore that (and i know we are but i am responding to your question) instead and actually contribute to growth solution.
It's a matter of which one are you sacrificing for scalability and the energy consumption. IMO if you do believe that PoS is the future, then you can make a fork and encourage others to do so. I believe some people already do this but I don't know which one has enough support. In the end it lacks incentive and the solution is centralized, leaving some users to trust the validators without enough control.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: (Compilation) What is the best Ethereum explorer? (Poll added!!!) on: May 17, 2021, 12:40:21 PM
I just found out this one https://ethscan.org. Looks like it's a new explorer for ETH 2.0. At first I though it was owned by Etherscan, but it seems that's not the case (at least last time I checked it's not clear yet).

Anyway, there's a lot of UI updates on Etherscan, Ethplorer, etc. Looks like the market will be more competitive in the next half of the year.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A list of Pump and Dump tokens. on: May 17, 2021, 12:35:37 PM
What exactly is your definition of pump and dump coins? Coins that pump and dump every day or coins that pump/dump more than 30% in a single day?

Your definition is unclear, and contradictory with others. If you list all the coins that are on the gainer/loser list, might as well list every single crypto since most of them have their own pump/dump period.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Our Personal Data Still Safe or Has Been Sold? on: May 17, 2021, 12:06:21 PM
But until now there are still no complaints about the identity of the bounties who report that something is billed so I hope they are just a scam of bringing money and don't sell ID data on the black market, of course this will be a lot of worrying apart from BCNEX is a scam project until now.
It's hard to use that as a proof that bounty KYC is not sold on the marketplace, mainly because not everyone pay attention to their KYC data and which bounties they send their data to. I'd rather assume that all of my data are prepared to be sold anytime on the internet, instead of relying on optimism.

Just like how people should prevent sickness instead of relying on treatment. The cost is way bigger.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Huobi Global, Kucoin and Gate.io? on: May 17, 2021, 11:25:19 AM
I used three of them. At the time of writing, I also support what others say. I'd say Kucoin is my favorite between those three, followed by Huobi and then Gate.io. However, I suggest you to withdraw immediately after you finish your trade. They're not trustworthy enough to store your assets.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: STOP ELON - New BSC Token in protest of Elon's Market Manipulation on: May 17, 2021, 11:07:36 AM
I still think this token is worthless. If you want to protest Elon's manipulation, then report him to the court, or stop following his advice, and encourage others to do so. This token is just a shallow attempt to get money from retail investors as usual. It's not better at all.

If it's a fair launch it might be a bit better, but if the dev can mint anytime he wanted to, it's a clear cash grab.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Having issues trying to login Cointiger exchange on: May 16, 2021, 01:06:48 PM
Maybe it's an issue with your web browser. Have you tried to use different browser to click the authorize link? Did you use tor or something similar? If you don't use anything like that, try to use different device, internet connection, and so on. Make sure to hard refresh just in case there's some corrupt cookies/cache on your browser that prevent the check to be finalized.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 8000$ dollars to invest in crypto ? on: May 16, 2021, 12:22:41 PM
Your prediction is quite bold. But have you checked the market history? Most of us believe in the 4 year cycle, and we're on the last year right now. Lots of people are predicting that next year and 2 year after that, we'll see a bear market, or a sideway markets. So if you want to take profit, maybe November or December is the best time, at least for now.

But well, if your risk tolerance is that high, maybe you can just buy and forget or DCA all the way until your target is achieved.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC down , does the altcoin will keep strong on: May 16, 2021, 12:07:54 PM
To be fair, any alts will dump when BTC take a hit. It doesn't matter if your project is good or not, when BTC is sinking, the rest of them follows. That's how market works in general, since most of them are paired with BTC. That being said, just like how ICO hype dies, I believe those shitcoins won't stay too long in the game. Maybe next year they'll be gone forever, but a new stupidity will rise in the next bull run.

Hopefully strong project regardless of the market (defi, NFT, etc) will be able to show its full value and won't be killed due to this crazy hype.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IT’S ALT SZN!!! Shill Me Your Bags!! on: May 16, 2021, 11:51:46 AM
I think the golden rule of buying the top 100/200 still make sense at this moment. I don't see low marketcap coins outperforming those big/mid marketcap coins. Heck, some of them even lost control and start dumping heavily. I don't really like the outlook of the low marketcap coins because most of my bags are them, but hopefully it will change in the second half of this year.

At least I don't buy and hold shitcoins who relies on hype without any product.
199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will grow in the next six months on: May 16, 2021, 11:44:21 AM
But still I think 6 month is too long, maybe it only need 3 or 4 months. But I am not an expert and my strategy is not the best.
Nobody knows for sure, heck even in a month you might see drastic changes. There's no need to guess when it happens, as long as you follow your strategy with discipline and act according to the latest situation.

Hopefully the next run will also trickle down to low marketcap coins and NFT/defi and stuff like that so the poor bunch will get the share of the pie.
200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is Easy dont be afraid just on: May 15, 2021, 12:25:24 PM
Almost everyone knows about it dude, the question is how do you define a correction and a free fall? Which one is a dip and a reversal? How can you guarantee you aren't buying at the top? And so on.

If it's as easy as you write above, no one will get rekt from trading and anyone with a good enough common sense will be richer than ever. Might as well pick a coin randomly and buy it and sell it a week later.
