181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Human Mined Alt Coin? on: April 24, 2013, 05:16:26 AM
I'm willing to do actual human work with a pick and shovel and not taken seriously... see this is why a "human" mined altcoin won't get off the ground.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Mining Rigs RIGHT HERE! CryptoCoinMiners.com coupon code - bitcointalk on: April 24, 2013, 05:14:37 AM
Having a hidden WHOIS on a domain is standard protocol for anyone who doesn't want 40 or 50 emails and phone calls per day from indian people claiming that they can "rank my website good in google searches", so there you go, a second reason.

Okay dave you still never gave your last name.  What was that again?

And to counter your statement above.  I own thousands of domains.  I don't get 50 phone calls a day from "Indian" people a day, the emails go to spam.  So again why does a legit business have hidden whois?

I don't see how my last name pertains to any of this. The products speak for themselves, I'd be happy to tell any of my CUSTOMERS my last name. And, you must have the luck of the irish to not get those calls or emails. Thank you for your concern, and your concern for others.

Yeah, no... That's quite bs.  Anyone not willing to give their info is a scammer until proven otherwise.  Sorry but that is the way of the internet.

Also, I've already received 2 orders from the forums today, and they are currently being assembled. So we'll have member reviews very soon, no worries!

Um, no, no you haven't. lol.  Nice try though.

184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] What denomination of physical Litecoins would you like to buy? on: April 24, 2013, 04:59:06 AM

185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with Altpool for FC? on: April 24, 2013, 04:56:35 AM
I have been on there for 3 days and can't ever get to the stats.  This makes it quite difficult to "cash out" or even see how I am doing.  Any thoughts?

Yeah, ignored.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Human Mined Alt Coin? on: April 24, 2013, 04:47:31 AM
I have a pick axe and a shovel.  I'll give you two tons of rock per day per block of digital coins.  Deal?
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Mining Rigs RIGHT HERE! CryptoCoinMiners.com coupon code - bitcointalk on: April 24, 2013, 04:41:33 AM
Who are you?  What is your legal name and country of origin?  Can you prove who you are?  Why should I buy from you?  Do you have references?  You joined only two days ago, why should you be trusted?

You say your name is Dave, but you have a hidden whois on your domain.  Why?  Why would you try to hide anything, including your business name and contacts?  I can only think of one reason.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin on Mt. Gox this month huh? LOLZ on: April 24, 2013, 04:39:23 AM
Where are all the guys that were so confident of LTC on GOX this month? Now I will say, there is still a week left in this month so I could be made a fool of, but I hiiiiiiighly doubt it.

I'm still betting LTC for anyone willing to take the challenge. Serious bets only.

What was your goal with this post?  Start a flame war?
Yes.

How did that work out for you?  By the looks of things, not well.... lol... troll.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] What current alt crypto-currency do YOU believe in? on: April 24, 2013, 12:47:16 AM

All the new people are just obsessed with becoming Millionaires like the early Bitcoin adopters. But, I highly doubt this will pan out the way that they are thinking it will.

Exactly, get rich quick idiots will always lose.  Which is why they go straight to my ignore.

Cheers!
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] What current alt crypto-currency do YOU believe in? on: April 24, 2013, 12:31:00 AM
rofl- all the Feathercoin votes must be people trollin'

Nah, just all the noobs with either under 100 posts, most being around 20-40 posts, or have joined in the last 6 months (some noobs talk a lot).  FC is about to crash and burn.  But my ignore list is filling up nicely.

Edit: Also ignoring them cleans up this subforum to an almost readable level.

192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: xjd1987 IS A SCAMMER BEWARE!!!! on: April 23, 2013, 05:22:18 AM
Everyone of you fucking idiots are going on my ignore list.  LOL at all the people with under 100 posts "investing" in feathercoin and calling each other scammers.  Ignore you go.

Feathercoin = scam and that's why the majority of you have under 100 posts is because you don't know shit.

LOL, get off my lawn all up in this thread

And another idiot under 50 posting... ignore.
193  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] DanJaker is a scammer on: April 23, 2013, 05:19:45 AM
Ignore, Ignore, Ignore, all of you... All these noobs buying shitcoins and calling each other scammers.

Bump, need more votes and opinions.

Yes please I'll take several in all denominations. Smiley

Forget the few tight asses that can't afford it.  You make less per coin then Casascius does.  And I don't see LTC staying at $2.5 anyways.  Especially since we know it's going to Gox.

Cheers!
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Now Open] $1200 for >1.1MH/s Litecoin Miner -- Vorksholk's Mining Solutions on: April 22, 2013, 02:30:24 AM
Yes, right now you're looking at $225-$250 a month. It is a long-term investment, and also serves to pay itself off much faster as the price of litecoins rise. (Mine $500 worth of Litecoins in first two and a half months, they then double, it has earned $1000).

The only problem that I see.  Difficulty won't stay the same within that timeframe.  With asics in the wild and people with cpu/gpus that want to profit (everyone) will turn to LTC.  Difficulty will go up.  So now I'm mining less every other month with this machine.  So it becomes and even longer long term investment.

This is my reservation.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Physical Litecoins by CryptoVest (Coming soon!!) on: April 22, 2013, 02:03:07 AM
Read my post above.  No, No, No.... I'm willing to preorder a bunch of coins at almost any denomination, same as many have posted before me.  If it's the money that's not getting this off the ground then accept pre-orders.  Simple, problem solved and this gets going NOW.

Yes, it is the cost of making them that is somewhat holding this project back. I will consider offering pre-orders to speed up the process, but this was something I was trying to avoid.

Yes I understand why.  Trust issues for some.  Offer something special to pre-orders like a certificate saying this was the "second" ltc minted, etc, etc, according to who preorders first and down the list.  It would motivate people to get their orders in fast and I'll bet you'll have the initial seed money to get this going.

I will try to get the designs pegged down during the next week and get some solid quotes for the hologram and coin minting. Then, I will think about opening up pre orders including something along the lines of a "certificate of authenticity" or something of being one of the first physical Litecoins made by us! I think this is a good idea, because the cost of minting is really the bottleneck at this point.

Cool, consider me in!
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate me too much, but I think litecoin is superior to bitcoin on: April 22, 2013, 02:00:22 AM

So assuming LTC is superior to BTC there is no guarantee that this manifests itself in a bigger piece of the cake.

Really?  No kidding?

To me it only makes sense to have two main crypto-currencies.  With the new FinCEN statement I don't want to trade my BTC to usd or my LTC to usd.  I'd rather trade them back and forth between BTC/LTC to avoid capital gains taxes.  It is the solution to their ruling and makes sense to anyone that doesn't have their head in their ass or wants to be raped by Uncle Sam.

Edit: BTW, I don't think either BTC or LTC are superior to each other.  I think they both have their place and compliment each other well.  They both need each other now with regulations being put on them.  It's time to wake up people.

My only question is: with the current difficulty how many litecoins can this machine mine a day?

I'm an early LTC investor and would love to buy one with my profits if not just for curiosity as I know nothing about building a computer.
