So each SP20 has 1x EVGA 750 + 1x Corsair 650, and works.

I've had this before as well with other kit ... doesn't seem to make sense, but your up and running!

182  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S-5 review. It has arrived some info is in! on: December 29, 2014, 09:55:40 PM

The multiple choice frequency is an interesting addition ... looking forward as ever to your informed review and information philipma.

183  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [***Legendary GroupBuy***] SP20 - most efficient miner - ~0.5W/GH - 2 units min! on: December 28, 2014, 10:33:24 PM

All orders will be shipped direct from Spondoolies to the customer, and pretty fast (got my tracking today).

184  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [***Legendary GroupBuy***] SP20 - most efficient miner - ~0.5W/GH - 2 units min! on: December 27, 2014, 08:25:02 PM
If I'm not mistaken, shipping companies in Israel still observe Christmas as a holiday then Friday / Saturday are the weekend.

That's what I figured, hoping order #3984 paid on 25th might ship tomorrow ... along with a T-Shirt  Grin

185  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [***Legendary GroupBuy***] SP20 - most efficient miner - ~0.5W/GH - 2 units min! on: December 25, 2014, 09:22:46 PM

Order ID #3984 just paid for x4 SP20s.

Thanks RoadStress and Sponds, a nice GB this one.

186  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [***Legendary GroupBuy***] SP20 - most efficient miner - ~0.5W/GH - 0.295$/GH on: December 24, 2014, 06:29:57 PM
Can you place an order for more then 200 units or is 200 the cut-off?

It would be fun to join in on this but I see it is past 200.

Yes, 200 was just the amount we needed to get to ensure the GB price.

187  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is the S5 string design safe and was it really tested properly? on: December 23, 2014, 11:06:19 PM
For what it is worth I think we will see SP and Bitmain continue to battle it out.

Yes, that is where the market is at the moment ... interesting times ... Bitmain celebrating 12 months ... Sponds yet to do that.

188  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [***Legendary GroupBuy***] SP20 - most efficient miner - ~0.5W/GH - 0.295$/GH on: December 23, 2014, 09:54:16 PM

Me thinks Road might be a little busy right now to update the total counter  Wink

189  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [***Legendary GroupBuy***] SP20 - most efficient miner - ~0.5W/GH - 0.295$/GH on: December 23, 2014, 09:39:26 PM
this is going crazy fast, much faster than I expected !
serious competition to BMT

True, quicker than I thought too ... but when you do the maths for the flexibility of over and under clocking, the SP20 wins hands down.

Along with their 'legendary' customer service, you just somehow feel more reassured about things.

190  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [***Legendary GroupBuy***] SP20 - most efficient miner - ~0.5W/GH - 0.295$/GH on: December 23, 2014, 09:34:32 PM

Add 4 more to the total, just paid and PM'd you ... goodbye S3s, will be hashing purely on Sponds kit when they arrive.

... hoping Sponds might include a T-Shirt this time  Grin

We just need someone to organize a PSU group buy now ...

191  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: The New Standard, 0.51J/G, Shipping on December 27th on: December 22, 2014, 11:14:41 PM
yes it will be because the pci-e inputs are on the open side. check the pix

Ahh ... checked .. silly me, quite right ... actually makes connections and cable management a little easier.

192  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: The New Standard, 0.51J/G, Shipping on December 27th on: December 22, 2014, 11:09:21 PM

S2 upgrade? That was abandoned ... wonder why Bitmainwarranty didn't know  Huh

So .. if the S5 is an 'open top design' .. is it stackable?

193  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: The New Standard, 0.51J/G, Shipping on December 27th on: December 22, 2014, 10:43:36 PM

But what you will get is a dogie review, because they are paying him to do it.

A bit harsh raskul, Bitmain may have dogie on the payroll, but he would already have lined himself up to do a review, as he does with all new miners as they come to market.

194  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Antminer S5 Speculation on: December 22, 2014, 10:18:55 PM

the SP20 already does what the S5 purports to be able to do.

True, SP20s are highly configurable ... up and down with power usage/per gh ... the S5 will be fairly fixed in its power consumption and hashing rate.

Would be interesting to know what db level the S5 sounds like ... The SP20 might look a little more expensive right now (Bitmain just dropped the S5 price in the last few hours) ... but the SP20 gives you room for movement and change as the market and your power supply dictates.

195  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: December 20, 2014, 11:40:09 PM
thanks for having me Nicehash.
great service but i'm back to DGM, back for the next monkey run!

BTC payout for mining sellers isn't good right now ... but what a week!

DDOS doesn't help ... stats look all over the place.

196  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: December 20, 2014, 11:25:44 PM

Some of the configuration is maintained after updates .. but if the update requires different settings they get overwritten. By upgrading you might lose the voltage settings, but definitely you don't lose the static IP configuration and settings.

Yep, make a note of all your settings first ... if things change after an update you can reconfigure.

197  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: December 19, 2014, 11:31:52 PM

Wish we could just get one that works.

It would be nice, wouldn't it ... but there again, just when problems continue with the S3 miner firmware they just crapped on all the L1 pe-order people ...

198  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Unofficial Spondoolies SP20 thread on: December 18, 2014, 10:39:18 PM

I feel good

philipma1957 ... this thread has been very useful to many users ... and buyers  Wink

Keep it going!

199  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: December 18, 2014, 10:27:46 PM
Zvi, can you release an extranonce version for the SP10.

I used the SP20 version from Nicehash on my SP30's and it works fine, but it doesn't want to run on the SP10.

+1

Zvi that would be good please (Tig thanks for the tip that the SP20 version works on the SP30s) ... I wasn't prepared to try it .. but thought about it, having hosted machines gets complicated at times ... if they brick.
