181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the alternate plan - second option on: November 23, 2019, 03:21:32 PM
There is big expectation among each and every cryptocurrency investor regarding the year 2020. We don't know what we gonna experience precisely, all that's been made is out of comparisons and price predictions with several references and related positive and negative news around.

By 2020 if the market doesn't move as most of the experts predicted and experience to move in the opposite direction. What is the alternate plan or the second option you've kept prepared to minimize the loss and keep up the value almost same on the portfolio.

By those instance what will be the choice of selection. Over which cryptocurrencies you'll plan to move your investments. I personally haven't got much of holding, if something happens against prediction only way is to move towards stablecoins.
I did not set up a plan like this. I think we should always take this risk into consideration, not at times like this. Or maybe people are already doing like that. On the contrary, the increase of BTC would be a different change for us. Let's get ready for this. Even if the second option happens, we will be where we are.
If most of the predictions regarding 2020 are positive then do believe in it. Because majority is authority. They are not saying this out of desires and guesses. The main reason is halving. 2020 is the year of it. If we look at the past ones, they ended up producing good amounts. Besides, with some skills and a potential coin like bitcoin, you don't have to wait for long. Make money with trading.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking answers can help on: November 23, 2019, 03:07:45 PM
Newbie experience when they are still new is laughable, same thing happened to me when i was still a newbie until i start wanting to know more so i took my time to explore other sections on this forum then i understand what i have been missing, newbies who wants to know more will definitely get there and those who are just here for money will keep making mistakes over and over compare to those who wants to learn
most of the investors here want to make profits by investing in crypot currencies. Actually, this matters to every single holder. Digital currencies are currencies in the end. Money can fulfill our basic needs so there is nothing bad about chasing it. Hoever, the investors must first learn about the crypto currencies deeply because only this way, they can succeed in their missions. Learning comes first than earning.
183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner Trader on: November 23, 2019, 02:38:57 PM
It is my first time to hear about tradenix. I think you don't have to choose them as the exchange because I think that site is new, and we don't know how good their reputations. Maybe you can try to visit binance because binance is a big exchange, and I know that many people here are trading on that site. We have another big exchange like poloniex, bittrex, kucoin, and else so you can try to look at it. I recommend those sites I mention, but binance still favored by most people here.

Same here, I've never heard about that so far. The key is to find trustworthy crypto exchange e.g. like these above, so there would be nothing to worry about. Do extensive research about them and choose wisely.
As a beginner, coinbase must be the exchange for starting work with crypto currencies. You can find good material and options there. It is one of the oldest exchanges with thousands of customers. It also allows you to pay suing debit cards, credit cards, bank transfers etc. go with the option that suits you the best. The only thing that you need to take care about is, whether your country supports it or not.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: November 23, 2019, 02:20:50 PM
If someone bet and he suffers a big loss and then goes here to ask a little help from you, are you willing to give him help?
Have you ever experienced something like that, how do you deal with this loss?
What help does he need? A financial support? An advice? What?

If financial support then I will not help him ever. I know how risky gambling is and I don't want to help him to give some more finances just to have funds for gambling. He suffered a loss already and he must stop with it.

If an advice then that is the time that I can help him. Either I will help him to consult to a mental specialist or we will go outside and play other games not gambling.
In his situation, a financial help will definitely do more than advice. The guy is asking for money. It is a bit of against the rules too but still, as he is not really begging and whining, it is pretty OK. He must have done this out of no other option. The best for him would be to take advice and start doing any sort of job instead of depending on others. Even if we want to help, we will be doing a lot of investigation first.
185  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use cryptocurrencies in your daily life? Are they useful? on: November 23, 2019, 01:59:32 PM
I really used my earnings in cryptocurrency in my daily life because using crypto helps me to have a better income, that is why it is the reason why i don't need to ask money from my parents because i have my  invome to provide the things that i wanted and needed. Thanks to crypto that i could now do things that i have never done before like going in different places and buy the latest gadgets.
Crypto currencies helped a lot of people in getting out of financial problems. You must consider yourself one of the luckiest because still a huge percentage of world population is unaware. Not only this, few people do not even invest into crypto currencies after its discovery. Bitcoin, the most beneficial asset so far, has introduce this world with young millionaires in a short period of time.
186  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Cryptocurrency threatens governments on: November 22, 2019, 05:03:38 PM
The government's job is to control everything in your country, they don't like the uncontrollable things, from the internet or the banking system, everything is monitored by the government and it is impossible for bitcoin manipulation because it is a decentralized system, in addition to the transaction is not taxed or disclosed personal information, it can lead to money laundering actions, which can damage the country's exchange rate ... so accepting cryptocurrencies is not yet possible, but I believe that in the near future the government will see how big the benefits of cryptocurrencies are and maybe they will amend laws to make cryptocurrencies legal.
Governments of the advanced countries to understand importance of cryptocurrencies and this is the whole reason why they are planning to launch their very own digital coins. They are the future of money and cannot be ignored. The reason behind resisting bitcoin legalization is fear to lose control. This makes a lot of sense. Like you have already said, authorities do not like to lose their power.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the weirdest thing you have seen for sale for Bitcoin? on: November 22, 2019, 04:41:11 PM
Hahaha. Funny if I must say.
It's the dark net though what do you expect, all unbelievable things happens there. Its more like the platform where people are fry to be weird.
As for your question, I can't say there have been anything weird similar to that.
My usual worries is when I remember how the early user of Bitcoin spend so much to buy a box of pizza, mind blowing. It makes me think of how huge Bitcoin will be in the future.
Due to its decentralized nature, bitcoin is highly used in the Deep web and the dark web by criminals. Moreover, that place should not be visited. Even the name suggests that it is dark place where all sort of dark activities happen. anyway, Nothing can be more painful than spending lot of Bitcoin just to purchase a box of pizza. actually this is the most shocking case. If only he had a little bit more patience, things would have been different for him.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sports predictions on: November 22, 2019, 04:12:54 PM
Im very confused how to win with high odds in soccer prediction. Because winning with low odds is very basic IMO , i mean it's not specific but mostly low odds always win , the potential is higher unlike with high odds as its 50/50 chance wherein very unpredictable.  Is there any strategy you know except viewing their past game or history?
I believe that you will not be asking such question if you have understood how odds works and how it impacts your profit levels. Low and high odds are purely depending on how many people bet on one particular sport event. So, there will not be any possibilities for predicting to win big profits for the same betting amount. If you risk big amount and your prediction will be right then you may profit in big levels, but odds has no role in maximizing your profits as it basically denotes how many gamblers on your side to share your profits.

Low odds will always win; Okay but do you notice that easily predictable side always has low odds? It is because of more number of gamblers go betting for an easy prediction.

In almost all the sports, underdogs may surprise the strongest team occasionally. In that case, high odds' side will win because most gamblers go wrong with their predictions. So, the gamblers who predict the UNLIKELY event gets more profits. So, if you focus on rare winning then you may profit in high levels Smiley.
The number of gamblers betting on some game should not affect outcomes of the game in anyway, particularly Sports. For instance, there is a cricket match that is taking place between Afghanistan and south Africa, then most probably South Africa will win. Most Gamblers having knowledge of cricket will bet on South Africa. In this case, the odds are not affecting the results of the match. Sports are not luck based.
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use betting tips? on: November 22, 2019, 03:51:53 PM
I can't imagine how OP gives trust to these betting tips. Cause even experts never find it a guarantee of winning and thinking why they should give info's for the possible result to others instead of using by themselves and might they billionaire as what @Reatim says(post above mine).
It exactly we can't this and those people who keep giving their tips for payment. If we believe ourself, we better do it alone rather than of asking someone's helps.
You are very right. In my opinion too, no tips, strategies or tricks can be used in gambling. How can anyone tame his luck according to his desire? We definitely are not gods, controlling our on fates. No doubt, if there was even a little reality in this stuff, people who are suggesting others would have been among the richest by now. spending money in return of buying such winning formulae is just an act of stupidity. We should never fill our heads with these ideas.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: November 21, 2019, 12:58:05 PM
I'm sure Altcoins will come back again...
But it will not be very soon. I expect the altseason only in 2021...
Lets just look at the working of altcoins they highly rather entirely depend on bitcoin. So the basic concern should be when will bitcoin rise up. We cannot question whether it will rise up again or not because definitely, bitcoin will wake up soon. In the times when bitcoin makes progress, altcoins don't do any thing different. Though the pace at which they follow the king is a way too slow, but profits are returned.
191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn bitcoin trading? on: November 21, 2019, 11:29:15 AM
For start get some basic knowledge about cryptocurrencies at different sites (education).
Read forums and be up to date with news every day.
Start trading with simulators and then get your hands dirty with small money at one of preferred exchanges (binance). It's a way of life.

Besides that, you need to practice as many as you can. If you don't have experience in trading, then you don't have to use big money if you are not sure. You can use little money because you need to familiarize yourself with trading and analyzing the market so you can improve your skills. After you think that you can trade with good, then you can use big money to trade. I am sure that you will make a bigger profit.
That's the purpose of simulators you can keep practicing and try every combination that you think will help you to improve your skills.
There's always a way if you really keen to help yourself before engaging to this business. Keep on reading and watching those related
articles and video shared you will find good information that you can use as basis to enhance your chance of success.
May i ask too which sites that have demo account for trade bitcoin ? and thank you before. Sometime my friend asked me in where to trading crypto with demo account and i don't know about it. What i suggest is like what Ethereumhunter said, to use small amount of money at least he can get experience about trading with it.
Bybit, Overbit, Bitmex, Bitsgap, Adss, Itrader are the few ones. The list actually goes on and on. By making demo accounts, you can improve your skills and increase knowledge of trading. Basically, you must understand all the bits of this profession as well as your asset. Choosing a potential coin holds the most significant value. With a weak coin, no matter how much good a trader you are, you cannot make good profits.
192  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: November 21, 2019, 10:58:38 AM
Before investing in crypto, earlier I did have a little savings from my work in the real world. after I entered crypto, I ventured to invest in crypto and quit my main job. So the source of money that I invest is from saving my work in the real world. So until now I continue to invest in crypto and I am investing again the results of this bounty in Bitcoin and Altcoin.

Sorry to say but quitting your main real life job for crypto is very bad decision especially your focus is only earning from bounties. I say it is bad because you leave one source of income while in fact you can do both on the same time. Bounties takes can be done on your spare time during working on the real job or after out of working time. I think you'll regret it in the future, bounties should not be used as main source of income if you ask me.
It is pretty OK to quit your job if you are investing in Bitcoin. But in this case I am with you. Bounties are no more the working method to earn coin or money. This is because of the frauds that are increasing in number on daily basis. He should earn money from his job and invest it in Bitcoin. Then he can start day trading with it and afterwards give up on the other job.
193  Economy / Economics / Re: BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR 6 YEARS on: November 21, 2019, 10:33:37 AM

History will keep repeating itself and I guess Bitcoin cycle will keep on going, the price will be more than its ATH by the next years.
This is the last halving and I guess those miners will just earn thru the transactions they process and they will not sell their coins for less on exchanges.

We are moving towards an era of digital currencies and bitcoin will dominate all assets.

That's probably what's going to happen. But we forget that Bitcoin shouldn't be an asset, tho it's inevitable now. Bitcoin should just function like Fiat Money. Their main difference should only be Decentralization. As that's what Bitcoin should be solving from Fiat Money (centralized currency). But instead, it became more of an investment, an "asset" just like stocks and real estates and whatnot

And there is a good, sound reason for that

If you are unfamiliar with Gresham's law, you should be by now. In terms of this famous law, Bitcoin is good money being driven out of circulation by bad money, which is fiat in the context of this law. To put it differently, Bitcoin can only crowd out fiat or compete with it if it becomes worse than fiat but in that very case it is unlikely anyone will be using it either as an asset or as a currency. Isn't it a lovely paradox that we have discovered here?

It may not be used as money anymore since people are going to keep storing it one hardwallet or keep trading for profit. One reason could be there are more altcoins that would work like that besides BTC. Wallets also that isn't using LN will have some fractions of coins that may not be able to sent somewhere due to transaction fees as a result there will be more coins that will be stored on wallets that will be forgotten.
If I am not wrong, we have not been able to use Bitcoin as a medium of exchange yet. The main reason behind this is governments not legalizing it.  There are only few companies that are accepting Bitcoin as a payment method. The digital coin market is also young. Most of the people do not even know about digital currencies but Bitcoin is the future of money and at present, holders themselves want to use it as an investment for making profits.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think all crypto is scam on: November 20, 2019, 04:28:06 PM
I agree that fraud in cryptocurrency takes up a lot of space but on the other hand, many of them are not scammers at all, they are rather incompetent and inexperienced crypto enthusiasts who thought that they would succeed but in practice it turned out differently.

Being fair, just because most of the projects come out to be scams does not mean we should ignore the efforts of real projects that have been with us for years. I have same perspective in this matter. We cannot deny how bitcoin produced millionaires at young age. We cannot deny the fact that crypto currency is new face of money. Moreover, this scam issue has recently become a nuisance and people are becoming aware of them.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money by stablecoin on: November 20, 2019, 04:09:19 PM
If you stick some stablecoin funds in NEXO, they give you 8% INTEREST APR and they pay the interest in your NEXO account daily. This is very good if you have some Tether or other stablecoins they accept on their platform just sitting there doing nothing. Say for example you have 10k USDT sitting, you can upload to NEXO in your account and earn 800 USDT interest. Does any bank give you that kind of return? I think it is a veyr good rate of return and passive style of incoem for anyone with extra stablecoins.
I must say, the rates are highly impressive. The interest returned is actually a big number. Well, no bank is that kind and generous but then again, banks are systems that do not need to make their way in this world. Stablecoins are concept. They need to work hard to get into the market. For luring investors, such high interest values are more than enough. To be very honest, there is nothing wrong with holding them either. Good opportunities should be availed.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking answers can help on: November 20, 2019, 03:40:39 PM
Definitely, it is not always about having a hard time to distinguish which project are real to not. Sometimes you have to explore other sections that provides information to such projects because there are always alot of persever persons out there revealing which projects are worth participating, and on the other hand projects that are scam. It is hard to rely onto websites or platforms that provides rating because some of those are just paid.
Doing a lot of research on different sites and discussing a matter on different forums will eventually return the best results. On forums, people hardly lie but websites can show a topic from any angle they like to by being paid. Today, the market is full of scams and it would be best for all the participants of digital coin market to share discussions with others. This way, they will come up with the right decision.
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social experiments in the world of gambling on: November 20, 2019, 03:18:07 PM
no i will not ever do that even if he is my friend because his reason to gambling and recover his loss is not acceptable to me but i think i can change my mind if his reason is somehow valid like for example if he will be loaning some cash to buy foods or rice because thier budget was short ( which happen commonly on the people that i know ) anyway . asking for a loan just to play a gambling is i think a really bad idea because it only bring a headache to you .
It is like adding fuel to the fire. If a gambler will borrow money from someone and happens to lose it in this game, he will be in double trouble. He wont only lose the money but become a person with debt having no penny in pocket. Moreover, people who have addict gamblers as their friends, should never lend them money even if they want it for grocery. Better would be to send require products instead of money.
198  Economy / Speculation / Re: In 3 sentence or Less- Post your Fundamental Analysis of Bitcoin on: November 20, 2019, 02:58:04 PM
It seems to me about this a lot of texts have already been written and no less discussions have been created. My analysis is this: the overall trend of bitcoin is upward.
Everything else can be found out by examining the technical component of bitcoin in the context of a visual analysis of the economic component of the crypto market.
Bitcoin is the most powerful asset on the face of Earth. It has produced millionaires in the shortest time possible with least efforts and investment. Just look at Eric. He is the luckiest one. All the early birds enjoyed the pump of 2017 for sure. For me, bitcoin is the future of money and the way to improve financial health. It is also the pillar of crypto coins market, a must for altcoins survival.
199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn bitcoin trading? on: November 19, 2019, 03:17:44 PM
One tip that will rule them all is
Explore this forum as much as possible

This will not only clear all your doubts will also provide you additional information on various things.
You will be encouraged to discuss on various topics which will improve your overall knowledge about crypto and blockchain.
Yes, you may learn a lot from this forum, aside of having a full time or part time work here in this forum, we should know that you may get tips, strategies and techniques here in our forum, you may get latest news also regarding bitcoin and other altcoin. Some of the traders are here also they will give you signals about the coins that they are hodling whether you need to sell your coin or you need to hold it a little bit more time. You may visit some channel in youtube also, and buy some books, I learn some trading secrets here in bitcointalk forum it helps me a lot, hope it will help you too.
There were really some good informations or learnings that you can really get into this forum but be careful not to select nor followed
the fake ones because it will just result out into loss of money if you aren't careful enough since we know that there were lots of bag holders
and shillers out of their coins and uses up innocent or newbie traders to buy something which is totally trash. So just keep learning and be sensible
on each step you would make.
Most of all, the courage and willingness to learn. Cause it is not all about bringing ourselves at risk without a reason and trading could be that riskier but we never think that it's too hard to learn about it. It is all about how we manage our life.

Yes, we may consider that this forum is a big help for those who want to learn about trading but we can't just rely on this alone, we need someone that can be trusted to guide us. We can follow their steps as well but can't take into the way that we don't keep relying on them, we need to stand our feet alone.

Perseverance has its own importance for success in every field of life. With the habit of giving up, it is not possible to stand at the top of your domain. The only thing that separates a leader from failure is his courage and determination. He must trust in his own dreams and principles. The best way to learn is by exploring things on your own. Then coming on such forums to discuss and clear doubts, especially when dealing with bitcoin trading.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoiners, don't give up yet. Bitcoin can't do it alone. on: November 19, 2019, 02:43:01 PM
Altcoins are creating more awareness, for example as big as bitwings project is in colombia today many people are starting to know what crypto is all about because of bitwings from wingsmobile, the fact is bitcoin can't really do it alone
Is there proof? i can't even say if that was creating a big awareness in colombia. Bitcoin can do it alone and when bitcoin was created and it didn't even need the altcoin to get its value. bitwing is a new altcoin and so many people are still asking about the credibility of the project itself. Just because it was created an awareness doesn't mean if bitwing can be taken as an example of how altcoin helped bitcoin.
More or less, this sounds like a tasteless joke to me. How come this hit his mind that bitcoin needs altcoin in order to survive in this world when bitcoin is the first digital currency. It is the backbone of altcoins. They cant even think about existing without the king. Bitcoin never depended on any asset, either physical or digital for its survival. Even no other entity of the world helped it in making so far.
