221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: November 14, 2019, 02:36:59 PM
I have never kept a record since I started gambling many, many years ago. I can guarantee you though, that I am in losses. I’m certain of it but I enjoy gambling & don’t bet with huge amounts.
That was so nice of you to tell the truth. I am referring to the fact that the losses are always greater than wins in this game. It is very rare to come across a victory. Most of the times, due to some unknown reason, gamblers face defeat.  The luck is never by their side. Keeping track of losses will just bring some pain. It is meaningless too. As long as you play for fun, these losses wont be harmful one either.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: November 14, 2019, 02:05:55 PM
If it's just Bitcoin then what you need the most is definitely patience and a lack of attachment. You can't be to reactivate. You have to be patient enough to wait for better price to buy and resist the urge to sell when you feel you are "losing"

For alts you need to be diligent in researching the project and you need some intuition to predict whether it'll be successful or not.
all types of investment require patience in doing so, whether it's crypto or real life. one thing that makes us a good investor, is knowing what we are investing in. in this case, we not only follow investments based on trends but because we know that these investments will lead us to profit. it applies to the real-life and crypto world.
Definitely. Good investors don't invest based on certain trends in the market. Good investors find the good investment by themselves without relying to other people, they do a lot of research and analysis about the investment that they are interested in investing. It is about patience and risk taking because you will not become a good investor if you don't have those two.
Sometimes, no guidance can become blessing in disguise. People who invest in these coins out of their own research are able to survive through all sorts of bad situations. Knowledge is power. After gaining good understanding of their holding and the market, they do not need to depend on others opinion. In order to develop patience, knowledge is required. The element of risk gets eliminated too.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why my day job is making me depressed on: November 13, 2019, 06:11:37 PM
Why do you have to stay in work when you know you don't like it? I trust you can easily get a new job because you are smart. Or if you like crypto currency trading why not start it now? I am sure that here you will get the serenity you want.
May be the guy has no other option. In order to live, we need money. I am pretty much certain that majority of people work out of need not passion or love for work. They earn because they have to fulfill some responsibilities. I would suggest looking for new jobs while he is on board and crypto trading is a must try. For this purpose, I am going to vote for bitcoin as that produces best results.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters do not need to wait for altcoin season on: November 13, 2019, 05:55:20 PM
therefore true research is needed if you want to join the bounty project. the problem is quite difficult to find a project that has a future, maybe this time the project will have difficulty competing in the market but I think the altcoin project that is able to survive until the market trends improve is one of the project references to look for
Locating a good project has become a real challenge nowadays for hunters certainly. The two main reasons behind these are high competition and high percentage of scams. It is a bit hard for new project to make their way and become successful. They must introduce good new features. Those projects that are actually able to make through tough times of downfall can actually be trusted with money and time.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling platform 2019? on: November 13, 2019, 05:02:38 PM
Have you seen this https://www.bitcoincasino.us/games ? I just saw while trying to search some provably fair games. I don't think it has the pool or tongits but you will definitely find something new with their 650+ bitcoin games according to their website.

You are trying to search provably fair but what you found is not a provably fair casino site. Check the site again, do they have provably fair games or at least do they have specific page contains information of the provably fair system?
Sure they do not have it because most of their games are not provably fair as they provides games from 3rd party providers.
I have never seen any sites provides provably fair pool/billiard games, I'm not really sure about tongits game as it is the first time I heard about it.

Tongits looks like poker-kind of game.. . Or it's probably some kind of card game for some countries, like Philippines https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tong-its

OP seems to be looking for those he can atleast earn some profits. Most posters seem to be avoiding the profit part. I guess no one can guarantee any profit, reason why that part is avoided.

If Ops is looking for profits, then he is definitely looking at the wrong place. Gambling, in no way, can be profitable. It is against the nature of this game. We cannot make certain profits out of random games. In gambling, most of the times it is all about luck. Even games like poker and sports bet involve some dependency on luck. He should go with the famous platforms like primedice with only intention of enjoying, not making money.
226  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Over? on: November 13, 2019, 02:37:51 PM
Believe on the whales in this market, they will never let bitcoin to die or else they will also lose big money. Always look for the positive side in the market, and have more confidence.
In my opinion, Bitcoin whales will destroy Bitcoin, they are using it for only short term gains and have the power to kill it if they want. They can move money out driving the price down then buy back in, rinse and repeat. unfortunately, Bitcoin is a decentralized currency that has fallen into the hands of the whales and the miners. It isn't what it was meant to be and I don't think it can be saved and become what it was supposed to. Not while it's under control by the rich and powerful few. All these new people getting into crypto and buying $100 of Bitcoin and ending up with $5 after they transfer to a wallet are going to wall away from BTC.
There is nothing like instant millionaire for sure but bitcoin can definitely speed up the process of becoming wealthy. However, this should not make the investors fill their heads with false ideas like become rich over night. Everything needs some time for sure and they must provide that time to it. The investors of bitcoin also do not need to wait for the bull run as they can earn sufficient amounts with trade.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saving for a House! on: November 12, 2019, 05:18:26 PM
Stable coins cannot make maximum profits, it is because the value of their token prices only follows the backed up currencies. But, if you want to invest in crypto by taking a big profits you can look at the Top 20 crypto currencies based on CMC or Coingecko. Do your research and analyze their development for your portfolio growth for the next 6 months. Goodluck!

Maybe it cannot maximize OP's profits but he preferred stable coins for himself because it might be the easiest way for him to secure his capital while earning profits even though it is not as big as when you invested it on coins that have higher volatility. Stable coins is a half savings and a half investment, so it is not that bad as a start for OP, assuming that he is a beginner or in the middle.
Stable coins are definitely not going to work. He needs to ponder p on his strategy. How is it possible to make profits from some asset that does not change its value? Stable coins are more of a saving as compare to an investment. For making big, a big time volatile crypto currency is required. The best is to invest in bitcoin as it produces the most profits. Ethereum is a bit slow one but can be trusted with reliability.
228  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quick Noob Question about Traders on: November 12, 2019, 05:02:06 PM
I have 1.8 btc in total from two different trading sites. Its stored there. On somedays the websites work and is fully operational. hustrade.com and waxcoins.com

Does it have to do with server?

I know I might be answerings this question for myself, but it never hurts to ask.
I dont know if you do just simply make some side advertisement here on these two unknown exchangers or not.  Grin

If it doesnt work for sometimes then its already a valid indication that you should pull out your funds asap if you dont like for those funds
to be lost forever. It isnt even ideal on storing those coins on Binance which is the current top tier exchange as of now. Way too risky
on letting those funds sit into those exchangers you had mentioned.
I also have not heard about the mentioned exchanges so far and if the site is not functioning according to expectations, then the best is to leave it. Indeed, it is a server error but this shows how much they really are serious about investors. No backup plans, nothing. Binance had security issues which no system of the world can really avoid. Other than that, Binance is a good choice but still wallets are better.
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 100% guaranteed no loosing sport betting method on: November 12, 2019, 04:40:49 PM
A 100% risk-free? Does such thing exist in gambling? Because as far as I know, when you bet or gamble, it's a risk already.  That's why it's called 'bet', you might lose or win. And when you bet, you're already risking your money. I'm just being skeptical here but I didn't say nor intended to say that it's a bad site. I'm just saying my opinion though. When it comes to gambling, I don't believe nor expect there's a "100%" thing just like 100% guaranteed no losing.

There’s risk in everything we do so if he is saying 100% risk-free that’s just not right because nothing is risk free when it comes to betting. Once you do bet it’s also a gamble and when you gamble there’s risk of either win or lose the battle and no matter how well you think in analyzing things, it is not a guarantee that you’ll win always.
No matter what game a gambler is playing, the element of risk is always involved because the element of luck is always there. Even in sports betting, it is impossible to avoid this factor. I agree, most of the times results are based up on the skills but then there are also times when weak opponents defeat the strong ones. Same goes for poker. Skills help but receiving good cards is a matter of luck.
230  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you use FB's Libra? on: November 12, 2019, 04:27:15 PM
No worries, it wont even get the slightest chance to be passed.
Not while Trump is around.
We could wait for the end of his term then maybe we might see a shed of light.

I wont use it just like how I dont use Facebook. It is something that would really start a big event that we havent seen at all.
Into what it is? The financial domination. Anything which you have could be taken away from you if you have debts.
Worse than a bank.
It is hard to trust Facebook with anything, no doubt. We have lost our privacy for sure but we do not want to give control of our assets to Mark. I also think that the reason behind Libra’s creation is to control masses financially. Moreover, why is Facebook the first one to launch a crypto coin. There are tech companies that are far bigger than FB like Apple, Amazon, IBM, Microsoft. Why is Mark in such a hurry?
231  Economy / Economics / Re: Millennial generation are screwed! on: November 12, 2019, 03:11:49 PM
Well, there's a lot of truth in this talk.
But I would like to recall that past generations - and even the current ones, in other countries - were sent to be killed on the battlefields at the age of twenty.
So, dealing with the "lack of security" of work or with "school debts" is perhaps not so dramatic ...
Well honestly, each generation has its own good and bad points. We can never ever achieve perfect times. In some cases, millennials are better than the past generations and vice versa. New generations are good with what they ought to be with. They understand technology better and that is the required to survive in this information age. Issues like negligible security and debts are going to exist with human race forever.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best time for promoting bounty projects on: November 11, 2019, 04:27:00 PM
I think that is also true, that the altcoin season fell in 2017. Many prize hunters got a big profit that year. many successful projects and the tokens they get have high selling points. but the market also needs great support from the public and includes bitcoin price increases, because this can also increase the prices of other altcoins.

I do agree. 2017 is the best year for altcoins.
Many of them succeed to gain more investors. But look at now, the majority of altcoin from 2017 is dead.
That is true. 2017 was the best year for altcoin because bitcoin was in too good mood those days. It touched an unimaginable mark which attracted people from all over the world. Noe we see that the king does not want to go wild once again, it wants to take some good rest, altcoins are doing nothing different. The first priority of investors should be bitcoin as all altcoins highly depend on it.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Dogecoin about to Make a Comeback? on: November 11, 2019, 04:03:01 PM
I'm not bullish on DOGE long term. I think that the days where DOGE had a major role in the crypto market is long gone, as demonstrated by its lack of development as well as the drop in rank in terms of market cap.

However, I highly doubt that there won't be another bullish rally in the short term.

The fact is that short term wise, doge is as volatile as they come - and on its upswings you can see prices go up by 200-300% very easily in a span of a month. Don't be surprised if that happens again soon.
The story of DOGE is not different from many other crypto currencies. Unfortunately, it has showed all what it got long ago and expecting too much from it will just bring disappointment. I do not consider it as a scam or weak coin but let us give the kid as much time as it needs. If not humongous, still profits can be earned. Holding it is the best thing to do because every cloud has a silver lining.
234  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start: Daytrading? on: November 11, 2019, 03:29:22 PM
Don't greedy to chase your profit. Otherwise, you will miss the right time to buy and sell. You need to have skills to analyze the coin because, in day trading, it is not easy to choose the coin as many coins will tempt you to select. You should know when you must get out of the market, especially if there is no sign to keep staying at the market.

Tools only help you to analyze better, but you should have the basics skills in analyzing. Last but not least, only use the money you can afford and don't risking all of your money.
Being greedy is good as long as the approach is realistic and smart. If you desire to get huge amounts of money, that is good for you eventually. However, you must not look for shortcuts and willing to do more work than you are. Choose a potential coin, that is basically bitcoin and you wont have to leave the market ever. Other than this, tools should be used but depending totally on them is wrong.
235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Agree To Publicize Your Journey From Being Chronic Gambler on: November 11, 2019, 03:14:02 PM
You are once a chronic gambler but with the help of a professional you are now totally cured, then a publisher offers you to publicize your journey from being a chronic gambler to a cured one, but of course, everything could be exposed like your habit experiences, your agony and even your personal life, will you agree to do this, of course the publisher will pay you for the story that you are going to provide.
I would definitely will share my experiences not only because of the money but because I want to tell to others that they can be cured even if they were addicted to it. I want to tell them that they can change. Personally, I never been a chronic gambler but I do have experience in this industry hence I know how being addicted.
There is always a way out. It is only a matter of determination. A man can do whatever he wants to. Impossible itself says Impossible. Gamblers just need to realize how harmful this activity is and what losses it brings. That will force them to set up their minds to leave this game. People like you can become a source of inspiration for the troubled gamblers. It would be difficult in beginning to leave but time cures everything.
236  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Bring change into Africa? on: November 11, 2019, 02:52:10 PM
although like that I think in China has good facilities and infrastructure, despite the limitations of education, people can work with the facilities provided. It is different from Africa, where there are minimal facilities for the development of the blockchain.

By that, it is obvious that China is more developed and rich than Africa. After all, they had a very rich history and that foundation alone makes them supreme from other neighboring nations.

<....> even some of them don't have proper education.

This is the very reason why Africa shouldn't be hasty on getting involved in this matter. Well, they already are, and I think that's inevitable. But what my point is, this shouldn't be the priority of Africa, and to believe that this is the way (no pun intended) to make them better.

As you mentioned education, it is very crucial to anyone. If they would focus more on things that are "priority" I think they would be one step closer to prioritizing other things such as Blockchain.
Knowledge, if not implemented, is useless. It is not exactly the education but not changing your way of thinking even after getting some education. This is the real problem of today's world. Do you really think Africa lacks educational institutes, it lacks wise people. China was able to build it from ashes. It did that with the help of implementing the little knowledge they hold and chasing the best.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Makes a Successful Crypto on: November 10, 2019, 05:40:09 PM
You can take a look at all of the top cryptocurrency right now to have pointer about what makes a successful cryptocurrency. But the most critical is how long that coin has been going and its reputation.

Because the top coins are able to provide benefits to the community, apart from that I think crypto get success because of the increasing digital development in the world, and they are running together in the present tense.
The top ones are also the most hard working ones. These are the coins that have proved themselves worthy of any investment and it took years before they really achieved the present status. The coin must have some goals and it should be able to achieve some marks with time in order to gain trust of investors and attract more people. Technology is evolving but bad coins do not take advantage of this.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Cryptocurrencies Predicted to Dominate the Market in 2020 on: November 10, 2019, 05:18:43 PM
Well!! As you all know currently crypto is down, cryptocurrencies are not performing as expected. Moreover, various crypto influencers like Mcafee and others predicted particular coins as per their potential in the crypto market.

2020 is near.. knowing the top 10 cryptocurrencies in 2020 is very important which will benefit the traders to overcome problems.

What do you think?
I also have predictions that are almost the same, but some coins are not included in my list, namely: litecoin, neo, and tZero. these three coins in this period only, or lately it is very difficult to go up significantly. than those 3 coins, I believe more in the doge that will come to enliven the market in 2020.
I have not much of faith in tZero myself. It does not appear to be a long lasting coin. But other two are good coins and they have been in the market for long now. Though not too good at giving profits, but these can be trusted with money for sure. However, the top priority of an investor should be bitcoin as that is capable of giving the most in the least time. Top 10 keeps on changing but top one never changes.
239  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i failed in day trading on: November 10, 2019, 05:05:42 PM
Day trading is really a tough job to understand the market situation because some it is impossible to predict the market quickly. I tried much time to book profit, but suddenly the market start going down, after waiting 2 or 3 weeks again the prices for altcoins starts recovering. So we need to be very patient in day trading.
One who starts to work learning the basics and go for a small investment find day trading to be risk free way of earning. In day trading profits were booked with the small marginal difference in the market price. On this people won't intend to hold with patience. Also day traders mostly risk big funds when there is very small change in the market to book profits.
Day trading is beneficial only if the trader has sound understanding of how stuff works. If he knows the capabilities of his asset and can follow the basic rules of trading, it is not a difficult task to make money through day trading. For big changes, the asset being traded must be a volatile one. The best option for day traders is bitcoin because of the high volatility it shows within a day. Patience is necessary element too.
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: November 10, 2019, 04:47:42 PM
Can you involve money for you to stop gambling or a gambler can really stop after he promises that if he wins this jackpot he will stop?
This is for the big-time gambler or those who gamble habitually or even those who have the urge to gamble when they have available money.

That is not possible, after the win, gamblers mostly play out of excitement and in hopes of making more. Besides it is not like that the winning are big ones. This is a rare case where a huge amount hits gambler. Most of the times, the amount is hardly enough for one time meal. Gamblers cannot really achieve their goals even if they set some amount as heir mark to stop playing this game.
