181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin ? on: March 26, 2018, 06:06:30 PM
I guess it's volatility as the biggest disadvantage. There are many different factors (supply and demand, regulations...), the price of bitcoin changes daily. The factors affecting price volatility are numerous and often it is not possible to predict what will happen next. Bitcoin can be worth $6000 on one day and $4900 the next. Its unstable nature makes it unsuitable for use as a currency or daily use.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ? on: March 26, 2018, 05:45:28 PM
Maybe they sell their bitcoins because they are afraid of losing more. We can't blame them for this. It's their decision. They may lack of confidence to  the future of bitcoin,  or they get affected by bad news of bitcoin which appearing in the environment. Thus,  they got panic, and immediately sold theirs.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: March 26, 2018, 05:37:09 PM
That sounds great. Nowadays people around the world use social media. They even let others know their daily life by updating it on social media. The use of social media makes a news can be quickly delivered to the society. Thus,  choosing a social media to promote bitcoin is one of the best ways. In addition,  the technology era today will make the mass adoption of bitcoin easier.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: March 26, 2018, 01:55:40 PM
Yes,  it is. There's a black side of bitcoin use. There are many news revealed  Bitcoin used in crime. For example, a college student bought drugs through online using bitcoin. Then, a terrorist who asked to transfer amount of money in a form of bitcoin. Thus,  we need to be more careful with the use of bitcoin.

186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is changing the world. on: March 26, 2018, 12:57:06 PM
I say yes, bitcoin is changing the world. Bitcoin, as well as other blockchains, are becoming a new system to hold, transfer, and accumulate wealth without restrictions from centralized government. The money is back in the hands of the people. Determining whether this is a good or bad thing is up to each individual.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the advantages of having Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2018, 11:44:59 PM
In my view, the main advantage of having bitcoin, there isn’t any presence of centralized banking system or financial institutions or government. Nobody has the right to rule or regulate this decentralized digital currency. Two entities are directly connected to each other without any third party interruption.
188  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: March 18, 2018, 05:53:37 PM
I'm holding a few bitcoins. Although the price is falling now,  I keep holding them and I don't transfer them into another digital currency. I believe that bitcoin price is going to go up sooner. I just don't know the exact time,  but I strongly ensure myself to keep holding mine. It's just about time.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Government. on: March 18, 2018, 05:40:57 PM
If bitcoin and governments can be a good combination,  every country in the world will have a clear government. The government can leverage that kind of accountability, in the same way that any private party can. It doesn't destroy anything, but it does improve transparency because bitcoin is a public ledger, each full node in the network has a complete map of every transaction, to date.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: March 18, 2018, 05:30:17 PM
The problem the governments in some countries have with Bitcoin is that it is decentralized.  Since decentralized currency allows the parties involved in the transaction to remain anonymous, there is always a chance that government will intervene in this world to get some hidden information. Due to the inherent decentralized trait of this currency, governments do not have control over this currency because it is decentralized (which may spell terror for governments resulting in regulation)
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold out or sell Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2018, 05:03:26 PM
If you're not in a hurry, then don't sell your investment. Just keep holding them for a while. Although bitcoin price is going down now,  it won't last long. Don't get panic easily when the price is falling. It's predicted that in May the price will rise.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin an asset or a currency? on: March 18, 2018, 02:03:18 AM
For me to use bitcoin as a medium of currency, I need to find a seller who accepts bitcoin. So,  I prefer calling bitcoin as an asset. Considering bitcoin as an asset is like investing,  and bitcoin is a good investment for long term period.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2018, 01:45:25 AM
Because women are too busy doing their household, so they don't have a few time to access bitcoin.  Taking care of their children and doing a lot households have taken most of their time,  and then make them exhausted. I guess those might be the reason why women are not in bitcoin. They prefer use the rest of their time to take a rest instead of involving in bitcoin.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: March 18, 2018, 01:31:36 AM
My biggest fear of holding bitcoins is malware. Sometimes hackers use combination of phishing and malware techniques to hack into our device. For instance, hackers often create malicious websites that appear as trustworthy, and when users click to access them, malware is installed on our device. Once this malware is on our device, it is programmed to steal our digital assets from, say, our online cryptocurrency wallet. The thing is once we lost our bitcoin,  we will never get them back.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: March 17, 2018, 03:01:36 PM
I think so. On one condition, digital currency is legally accepted and used as payment system. Besides if the governments take control upon digital currency, then it is believed that paper money can be changed by the digital currency.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: March 17, 2018, 06:46:44 AM
I assume that bitcoin tends to harm the governments instead of benefit them. The reason that makes the government to take hostile approach to crypto-currency is because the governments can't control it. In other words, the governments cannot be able to perform their legal obligation to the society regarding with the bitcoin transaction.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm gonna sell my house on: March 17, 2018, 03:17:59 AM
No,  I won't. Have you lost your mind? It's a crazy idea of selling the house just to buy bitcoin. Selling the house isn't the only way we can take to buy bitcoin. I guess there are other ways to buy bitcoin. You've put yourself in a danger if you really go to the real estate for selling your house. Just think about it carefully. You don't want to regret at the end,  do you?
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to your Bitcoin when you Die? on: March 16, 2018, 06:51:47 PM
Of course I won't take the bitcoin with me when I'm gone. I will teach my family members on how to access bitcoin. I guess it's a part of everyone's plan related to their belonging of cryptocurrency. Meanwhile,  I will also write some notes about  my wallet and any important passwords,  so my family can convert the bitcoin into money,  and they can use it.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: March 16, 2018, 05:37:12 AM
In my country,  bitcoin hasn't been advertised on TV. I could only see it on the Internet. It's because bitcoin isn't used legally as an payment in my place. However it's going to be a good idea if bitcoin can be advertised on tv in order to cover the entire population in the world (all the elements of society can be reached),  so not only people who are educated and get an Internet connection know bitcoin,  but also people who live in remote areas could understand bitcoin.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: March 16, 2018, 05:21:17 AM
Legally there are usually pretty strict requirements that need to be satisfied for something to be considered as a "currency” (i.e. it’s issued by a government). Since those requirements aren’t satisfied with bitcoin, it’s natural to for it to be considered an asset. Besides Bitcoin is an investment, not a currency, per a recent ruling. Unlike stock or bonds, no one stands behind it and it represents no real value.
