Honestly I had my skepticism about this coin being a scam as well, but after seeing the amount of work that has been put into it, I can assure everyone it is not. Honestly I don't care how low it goes because I have just continued picking up more aero all the way down! As you can see by the aero rich list, none of the largest holders of the coin have dumped. Meaning this coin will undoubtedly go up as soon as any news comes out because all the weak hands have been shaken out
The rich list is false. It's doesn't get updated. It does, you have to wait. I waited more than 3 days. Either http://aero.blockexplorer.cc/richlist/ is fake or malfunctioning. BE is or was made by 3rd party , not by aero dev you can pm the BE maker and ask him to fix any errors My point was that As you can see by the aero rich list, none of the largest holders of the coin have dumped is a false statement. There are no updates, no one has ever seen code commits, only bare words. It's either an incompetent dev playing with the code for his own amusement or there is no dev at all, just a sophisticated scammer. Top holders own ~92% of coins. So ware is dump? How do you know that? From http://aero.blockexplorer.cc/richlist/ I am in top 35 and everything working.

Aero Community,
I have been quiet for a few days now but have no fear I have not stopped working.. It's been a frantic few weeks especially during the recent "troubles" It turns out this was a blessing in disguise by this i mean if it was not for the fact there was a issue which required immediate attention I would not have had the chance to take a fresh look at how some of the underlying code is structured and furthermore how this will apply to our implementation of AeroME features. I have been quietly working away on updating several components of AERO which will allow for much greater array of expand ability in the near future as AeroME is released. The principles which drives much of my work is Keep it simple stupid (KISS). So applying this methodology to my work maintains simplicity as its core, aids in manageability of an unruly codebase and helps curb project creep. Referring back for a moment to the recent Aero troubles It really made me focus on some of the embellishments which are not necessary in creating a superb user experience, this is not to say we do not want some of the fantastic features but what i am saying is that simplicity is key in creating best of breed Hybrid technology's both in terms of front-end UI design and also server-side business logic.
So what have i been doing? =================
I have re-factored the majority of code to remove the "bumf" developed various hooks on which to hang my hat. This is simply entry points for future work to integrate more tightly with when the time comes. Streamlined the build process Customized the automated the build process. I have Decided to "open-up" AeroME on release to allow any developer with an interest in AeroME the ability to use AeroME components, modules, designs etc or even to build additional services on top of AeroME infrastructure. Created new npm repository to make things more modular Tidied up the internal documentation for both Aero and AeroME also external docs. made heavey changes to some of node-webkit interop processes commits to follow soon. changed the way error handling is managed Optimized the memory heap requirements Tweaked GC (garbage collection) stuff Lots of DOM stuff Continuous integration (CI) build process has been configured and moved onto separate remote servers as opposed to sitting on locally hosted machines (Atlassian Bamboo) I'm making a start on "AIP" a set of AERO standard which are kind of like Bitcoin improvement protocol (BIP's) plus lots more to mention.
I have Decided to "open-up" AeroME on release to allow any developer with an interest in AeroME the ability to use AeroME components, modules, designs etc or even to build additional services on top of AeroME infrastructure.Wow-this is huge.Unlimited potential for Aero to become unique. Thanks Dev for update.

Bittrex Aero Market is now back online
Hi guys. My Bitrrex wallet says-offline.Anyone else see this? its working fine for me..i sent out some coins without problem I bought some Aero on Bittrex during the issue with Aero wallet, maybe because of this my wallet is offline. I'm not the dev and idk the answer to this, but I would suggest going into free node irc, typing in "/join #bittrex", and asking the bittrex devs what's up. If anybody in the room has an @ next to their name they should be able to help you once they see the message. Goodluck. Ok.Thanks!

it's pretty busy here for a dead or dying coin .... Hi Cloakers, we're being pestered by BobSurplus in the Monero threads. Any advice on dealing with him? Obligatory topical remark: CLOAK was never truly alive, because it's anonymity/privacy has always been vaporware. That's why CLOAK's market cap is lower than the three main CryptoNote coins, which already offer real anon. Bobs last known address is XST.

Today i dumped all my cloakcoins!
i dont get how this is supposed to be funny Tomorrow, Jorrr will dump his coins!

I stand corrected. 7 days ago. I guess until CECIL POSA CIARA PERFECT ANON gets implemented in 12 months, they'll never say anything and we get to circlejerk around here forever. AWESOME.

i did confirm with dasource today that he atleast is still working hard. So i for one am holding my coins, but i dont blame all the people selling, its been 7 days since alty posted last... although thats not too long.... in the world of crypto thats a lifetime
7 days? Where did you see Alty post anything 7 days ago? His last post here was 11 days ago - which for a coin might as well mean it's dead. Everyone is dumping, the VPN website is shut down, he hasn't been in IRC (when he used to be every day). EVERYTHING points to this coin being dead and now the market is reacting accordingly. Even when the market is taking a shit on the coin, the devs can't even take 5 seconds to post, "We're still working." Literally ONE SENTENCE that says, "We're still working." Sooooo...yeah. If you can't give me 5 seconds once a week, then you don't deserve my money. This is the last post I could find: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=637704.msg8782035#msg8782035 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=637704.msg8834608#msg8834608Just for you.I am not defending him with this or something.

However ...
Heres a what if question
What if alty is actually making awesome progress in POSA, keeping news all to himself. Buying up cheap coins while knowing they will skyrocket. And laughing to himself at all the people calling the end
:-o
Yeah I wouldn't get my hopes up. POSA exist, but is not trustless. If main dev still working on POSA,maybe Cloak have future.But...

So XST unlike cloak has open source anonymous technology ? It has devs who are known ? Hmm I smell pumping. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. As far as I know, XST only has anon for their StealthText part and that's the only thing Dan Metcalf "audited". Of course all the shills, sockpuppets, hype masters etc try and make everyone believe Dan blessed the coin in it's entirety. While interesting, StealthText requires you to actually install 3 other programs as well to get it to work. StealthSend is still vapor ware. At this point I'd also be a little concerned due to the whole Monero might have an exploit thing. From reading the XST white paper, it seems to me it's basically doing anon like CN coins but changing to Chandran signature (which may have their own issues). IF BCX is to be believed, it's not the tech itself in CN that has the flaw, it's how it's implemented. Thus XST could also suffer from the same issue. I also don't like the way the whitepaper gives an example to make itself appear superior to CN due to a reduction in block size but fails to mention how it could actually be bigger with only a handful of signatures. But at this point it's all a wait and see thing. And yeah. Multiple P&D groups all over XST and LXC so they are both risky at this point as you have to guess at their exit points and get out before they do. The coin was around this level before and got dumped and then was manipulated to hold at around 9k for quite some time. It's been allowed to rise now but is being controlled to slow it down. My feeling is that it will get dumped around 15k and then allowed to build again for the next "news" which is supposed to be StealthSend I think. Thanks for this.
