Greuther Furth relegated from the league and Bielefeld are the second biggest candidate to have the same result. We can consider them as in the 2nd Bundesliga already now. Stuttgart or Hertha Berlin would play in the play-out matches to be able to continue in the Bundesliga. And that team would be Stuttgart as it is really hard for them to close the four-point gap with Hertha Berlin at this point. There are only two weeks left. And I wonder what team are going to be their opponent in play-out stage. It is hard to guess as there are multiple candidates.
I think Hertha is pretty much safe already. Stuttgart and Bielefeld, both have difficult games ahead. I don't see either of them getting 4 or 6 points out of their 2 remaining games. Yes, Peru is classified, but they aren't a strong candidate for winning the cup or reaching too far on the competition. From South America the results are usually quite predictable: Brazil and Argentina are the countries which reach further (between quarter-finals to finals), although Uruguay has an underrated national team, which always do their best with a lot of sacrifice and effort to reach one step further on world cups. Peru still needs to play a qualification game against the Winner of UAE vs Australia. Peru is likely the favorite in this fight though, even the weakest South American teams are a serious threat to most Asian or African teams The qualified team will then end up in the group with France, Denmark and Tunisia. I think the only advantage that Bayer has is the fact that Frankfurt plays the europa league in few days and might be opting to rest few players by rotating the squad in tonights tie. Frankfurt are comfortable at midtable and i believe their coach would not be chasing tonights game. This! Frankfurt will focus 100% on the Euro League. They have nothing left to gain in the Bundesliga and will maybe even start with quite some substitute players. I think Bayer will win this game. For Leipzig it is a bit different. They will try to advance in the Euro League and to win the Bundesliga games to qualify for the Champions League. I think they are able to do both and will do that. Whether it'll be enough to win against Gladbach, I don't know, the odds for a Leipizg win are pretty low, I agree on that. |

Only two games left and if Schalke doesn't win against St. Pauli on 07.05., Darmstadt could even take the first place.
st. pauli's away game at schalke 04 will be their last chance to play for promotion. st. pauli must win at gelsenkirchen - if that happens and darmstadt (at düsseldorf) and bremen (at aue) win their away games, everything will then be decided on the last matchday  Same is true for Hamburg. From my German point of view it's really funny this week to see how the two top teams could lose. Dortmund caught up and still lost the game and Bayern showed a very poor performance although hardly any regular players were missing. The title is fixed, maybe it was because of that.
Yea, I think so too, the pressure for Bayern and Dortmund is gone. Of course they always try to not embarass themselves, but the players are already with their thoughts in the next season. For Lewandowski maybe it would have been nice to beat his goal record from last year, but now it seems there is no chance to do that anymore with only 2 games left. Better focus on the Leverkusen/Leipzig/Freiburg games for the Champsions League qualification and Bielefeld and Stuttgart for the relegation if you are looking for excitement |

Dortmund 0-2 Bochum
I thought I would enjoy the match between Dortmund and Bochum. But I was surprised to turn on the television. Bochum took a 2-0 lead in just 8 minutes. It was a bit incredible for me. The Bochum team is not very strong. That's how I expected Dortmund to win this match. But since Bachum went ahead 2-0. So now Bachum's chances of winning this match are high. They will now play defensively and ensure victory.

Yea, it looks like the league is going for a dramatic finish  Darmstadt is now in a pretty good position. Of course they shouldn't mess it up like Bremen did yesterday, but they could now even surpass Bremen by winning the last 3 games. And Hamburg: as written on the last page, they absolutely need to win all 3 remaining games, otherwise they won't be able to reach the 3rd rank. Today in Ingolstadt they are likely to win, but we have seen many "easy" games in the past where Hamburg managed to "not win" somehow. Nürnberg is probably out of the race now after their draw yesterday. Only if both, Hamburg and Darmstadt, somehow manage to lose today they would still have a small chance for the 3rd rank. |

Odds for Union Berlin vs Fürth are 1.25/5.7/13.0 Anything except a win of Union would be a huge surprise, so if I had to bet, I would go for that. However, the odds are very low for this, so it's not worthy imo. Union has played well lately and is fighting for their Europa League spot with even a small chance for a Champions League spot, I don't think they will leave points out in this game. For Fürth it is now more like a "goodbye Bundesliga tour", they will surely try to not embarass themselves, but they don't have a reason to give full 100% now anymore either. |

My tip for today West Ham 1:2 Frankfurt. The game is on a good level, and i believe in the power of Frankfurt. But there is still something more missing, like in Barcelona. After the 1:1, not much happened in the first 45 minutes. That will change a little bit. And I believe in a German final this year.

West Ham vs Eintracht started very interestingly! The English conceded a goal in the first minute... Eintracht claim the Europa League title after beating Barca... Don't know if West Ham will be able to rectify the situation, but so far luck is not on their side... Well, they only needed 20 minutes to equalize 1-1 is the score now, even though the game is fairly equal, West Ham has the better chances until now, they should be able to at least win the game by 1 goal difference. Bayern Munich won't be champions forever, another team will definitely start to play better. But Bayern has been a very good team in recent years and we don't see much of a German league team that can actually beat this team. Maybe next year Dortmund will have a chance if they make better signings, but probably Bayern will be champions again It's not that much about being able to play better. It's a lot about the money. Bayern has a dominant position and they acquire talents from their opponents quickly, and by doing that destryoing their opponents teams. As soon as there is some competition emerging you can wait for the news of an offer for their best player by Bayern. Bayern acted very clever in the past and they haven't stopped doing that. Liverpool performance this season is indeed extraordinary, even though they have a busy schedule in the domestic and European leagues but they can still maintain their performance well so far, even though they had difficulties in breaking into Villareal goal in the first half but the hard work done by Liverpool players managed to end sweetly with a 2-0 win at the end of the match, 2-0 capital seems to have been enough capital for liverpool to set one foot in the final and I think it will be difficult for villareal to make a comeback in the second leg later even though they play at home.

For me West ham United will win this competition, even if they were playing against Barcelona in the semi final they would have won, the take this competition very seriously, at there game against Chelsea last weekend Sunday they rest alot of players just because of this game,they see it as a pathway to the champions League next season and they are determined and also have the players to see it through, I watch there game against Lyon and I was impressed, I know liepzieg are a strong team in Germany but I still rate west ham to beat the two German team.

Greuther Furth have already said goodbye to the Bundesliga this season. And there is not much hope for Arminia Bielefeld too. They are going to play a game against Hertha Berlin home next time which can be called as a game that they have a chance to win. However they haven't won for eight weeks in a row in the league. And they lost seven of them. Hertha Berlin have been on a better run than them. So I don't feel like they would lose to Bielefeld here. And it would be the end of Bielefeld for this season also.
Hertha Berlin seems almost safe now after their win against Stuttgart. Bielefeld could still surpass Stuttgart reach rank 16 where they would not relegate directly, but have a play-off against the 3rd of the 2nd league. Stuttgart has 3 difficult games coming up and I wouldn't be surprised if they lose all 3 of it (Wolfsburg, Bayern, Köln). Bielefeld could gain points against Hertha this week and then against Bochum next week. I don't think they stand a chance against Leipzig in the last week. |

The match has started and as usual Liverpool seemed to dominate this match from Villareal who tried to defend and focus on the counter-attack. Liverpool's victory seems very likely, but surely Villareal will try their best for a chance of a ticket to the final this season. I've said 3-1 is a possible result for this match but we'll see if my prediction is right or not.
Well, for sure we didn't see a furios start like in yesterday's game. I hope we'll see any goal soon, this will make it more interesting Liverpool is clearly dominating now, if it goes on like in the first 20 minutes, then we'll see a 2-0 or 3-1 or something in that range. But who knows, Villareal might be lucky and continue to defend nicely. |
