How come the multipool isn't only for PC?  Do you own the pool or did you just ask them to implement PC for 3mil? No, Coin King is a pretty popular multipool that can mine any coin (in their list) and give you the payout as PinkCoins. They will add your coin if they think the coin is going to have volume and deems profitable for them. That's how most of the multipools decide on whether to add any coin or not. In the early days, we never had any luck with the good ones, so we decided to pay a dev (a little over 3 mil) and have it in his lesser known multipool. Just a day after hiring him, we got information that Coin King was ready to put us on their site for free (I guess they saw the potential in the coin finally). So at the moment, the 1.5 mil collected (out of the projected 3 mil) is still under discussion. We might use it for further promoting pink, or use them to purchase votes on mintpal. We're still brainstorming on the best way to utilize the funds. I'm thinking a small portion of it for fayolong's lottery as well. But first, I need to sleep  Tomorrow, I will make a small noob friendly screenshot tutorial on how to set up your payment as PC, etc on the multipool. This would be especially helpful for those with scrypt / nscrypt rigs, as they too can mine with their rigs and earn PC. Yeah, we were going to have it at a newer (albeit pretty good looking) Multipool, but we'd be sharing space with other coins there too, and we'd be paying 3m pinkcoins, plus guaranteeing the projected value of 3m pinkcoins with private funds, plus contributing to ongoing server costs. We gave the dev of that Multipool the go ahead to start work two days ago, and we were just going to cover the difference if we hadn't made up the full 3m pinkcoins. You should note that we did make some contacts with some very professional people that could put together a big, custom multipool like some of the big coins have, but at this point the cost is several times what we could afford right now, but something we will consider in the future as we develop momentum! It's not very clear from Sony's post, but the information about CoinKing came in just yesterday, and we've been working like demons to get things ready even earlier than predicted, because they wanted to add it immediately. |

Wow! You guys did a lot of work. Everything looks so professional and polished. So, you're not making a new coin and keeping the old one, right? I think that's a good idea. I love the coin, as is. I found a minor discrepancy. At http://www.stayclassy.org/fundraise?fcid=320114 you're raising $20k, but at http://www.pinkcoin.info/ you say only $10k. Also, the link posted here in the OP for the nbcf doesn't actually work and I didn't see PC mentioned on their site or shop. I just learned about faucets last night. I'm sure I'll make far more PC from the faucet than I will from staking. Except the PC faucet has been down all day.  Hrm. I sent them a message. They were really a great help to us when we were getting it set up, and there's quite a number of coins in there;D Should be back online soon enough. Thanks for letting us know! DOH! Is the team goto holiday?
Judging by the price, I would not say holiday, I would say they are busy/working.  Seriously. My side of things is a hair's breadth from being ready to launch. Obviously I still have some work I'm going to do post launch to make it all even better, but I'm pretty much go as of right now. Still, depending on where the other guys are at (they're not far behind) we're looking at most likely within 24 hours, but I can't guarantee that. Lol:) Sonysasankan knows more about when we're officially going to relaunch than I do, as he's coordinating that. My PM's are just full of awesomeness. |

I love how everyone here "believes" in this coin but are screaming to change the specs at an attempt to make it more rare. I hold quite of a few of these coins and I vote to leave it alone. Changing the specs is only an attempt to manipulate the price, which totally implies pump and dump. If the wallet actually is released and works the specs will not matter. It is good for a coin to increase in value, but to manipulate the specs in order to do this would make this nothing but a pump and dump with a good feature.
If you follow the mining pools, you will notice that there are literally multiple users with GH/s taking major coins from the POW phase. You know what they will do with those coins....? DUMP and literally kill investors that have bought and miners that have hell their coins. How is that good for any long term health of the coin if the very same people that have supported your coins from the beginning? Again all this who will have what and who will dump what is nothing but pump and dump talk. If this coin can not survive being dumped then what is the point? Remember crypto is supposed to be about innovation not so you can profit in a week. How long did btc holders have to hold to cash in? If the coin has something people want the price nor the amount of coins for sale will affect its longevity. Coins do not become btc level simply by going up on your favorite exchange, unless we are talking pump and dump of course. Let me walk you through what will happen if the coin specks stay how they are currently. 1) There will be a big run in price when this PoS coin is the first to release the wallet. 2) We will get to a market cap of say 10 million. 3) There will be a fast decline in price but because this IS a coin with a quality dev and features, it will level off to some where around 6 million market cap. 4) Then 25 million more coins will come flooding in to the market over next 100 days. The price per coin will start a slow decline to 1/5 of where it was when it settled after the run. 5)The investors will only take so much loss and jump ship somewhere in the decline. 6) By the time PoW ends, you have many coins on the market with the EXACT same features so you no longer have an advantage. The opportunity is NOW to make this a lsting coin. Use the advantage the dev has built to make this the primer anon coin...anything else is poor management. I could not have said it better myself. I was literally about to write something similar to this. Anyone who has been in crypto and observed the life of coins and their markets long enough, knows that what veritasBS just wrote is very accurate. I've been around a while, lol. That is accurate, but only for shitcoins that offer nothing lasting that is worth paying for, ie 99.99% of these coins. If all this coin boiled down to was anon, then yeah. Moon>copied to death>slow inevitable decline. But the Dev seems innovative AND competent. Block chain 2.0 will mean he will have so much flexibility to improve on his core. I'm hearing hype city here about anon. Wanna know what's really gonna make this coin valuable in the long run if the Dev can prove himself? The fact that this Dev cares what his community wants, and he delivers. Anon is just a feather in x11's cap if the Dev keeps heading in the direction he is. |

Hey guys,
This is my first PoS where I have enough coins that I stake regularly. Would I be best to transfer all my coins out, and bring them back in as 1 transaction? I know that each transaction stakes on its own, so my staking is quite regular, but would it be more beneficial/profitable to have one big lumpsum transaction? or will the end results be the same?
Its pretty much all the same, but if you move your coins their age will reset and you'll have to wait to start staking again. I figured it was all the same, so technically, by converting into one large transaction, you actually lose by resetting your age. Besides, I enjoy seeing my wallet stake more often than not. So multiple transactions is much more fun anyways. Thanks Sumgye For what its worth they seem to stake at different times anyway. All my coins got moved from bittrex at the same time and I see new stakes in varying amounts all the time. Yeah it is hard to say which is the best method, some testing/experimenting sounds like a requirement. One more question about staking, what is this about? Generated but not accepted?  Your wallet either tried to generate while it was syncing, or you generated the coins earlier, but you closed your wallet before they had fully matured. At least that's been my experience with other POS coins, I've pretty much had my pinkcoin wallet up 24/7 for weeks now so I haven't really experienced it with pink:) |

Given the bug he's trying to solve right now the dev expects to have it sorted by Sunday according to the team-viewer pictures that the Cinni dev posted. So crossing our fingers for a wallet sometime early next week, if not sooner. |

It's actually a great place to pick them up for a good price, I've dumped a bunch of coins that I'm not personally involved with to take part in this. Almost gutted I can't grab more. It's about as close to a sure bet as you can get around here (which isn't saying a lot, but it's definitely worth the risk/reward ratio). |
