Nope I don't think the big whales care about celebrations such as Valentines Day, if they feel like pumping the market now they can do so freely and without any hesitations. And when people panic, they usually withdraw their holdings and then that causes the market to go down further more. But I really do hope BTC's price will go up before this month ends though, it has been really a tough start of the year and now BTC is down to around $8k+.

I am also doing the same thing, in fact I am saving bitcoin for my daughter and for her college. I think you'll get your coins but it will be delayed upon receiving because of Crypto Kitties. This has caused major problems with Ethereums transactions and they can't resolve it. I think all you can do is wait and see if it does transfer in a couple of days.

I do have heard of this coin just recently and I wanted to join the fun too by getting myself some kitties but I think their is a problem with Ethereums blockchain because there are a lot of people complaining about their transactions that's taking some time and took a couple of hours for them to receive their Eth too. Might join or try this out once they've resolve the issue with Ethereum being decongested.

If bitcoin keeps on increasing Ethereum will be having a hard time increasing its price too. Of course most of the altcoins are bitcoin dependent and most of the time they rely on whatever bitcoins current price is.

What's the current update of your transaction? Has it transferred already? Sometimes if you want a much faster transactions some would choose the largest amount of fees to receive the coin right away.

It's actually a good marketing strategy to invest in penny stocks but have you researched on the coins you invested before putting your money into it because who knows some of those coins are worth nothing in 1-2 years, that's one of the things you need to consider before putting your money in these coins. I did the same too but did some research on the coins I've invested too and hold it for around 1-2 years.

But regarding Ethereum beating Bitcoin, that's too far to be possible although there might be a possibility in the distant future when bitcoin will be worth very less (if it does happen).

I dont think that is a good idea my friend, why don't you try to leave half of your investment on bitcoin and go for long term and the other half would be on Ethereum. That way, it is like a win-win for you; you get to hold two coins for long term and would profit also on both of these coins.

I also think Ethereum will be going up although the movement is not as fast as Bitcoin but it is getting there. Slowly and hopefully it would at least reach a new all time high by the end of this year or early next year. Crossing my fingers and keeping my hopes up though.

Actually I don't have a really specific target of alt profits but enough to get me by every week and some extra profits for the future. I'm more focusing on increasing my gains so in time I can pass it on to my kid and send her to college.

Same here, I'm also waiting and hoping for bitcoin to reach $15,000 within this year so I convert them and buy things for my kid this Christmas or as a late Christmas gift. I think bitcoin will still increase and reach a new ath again by this month so we will just wait and see what will happen next.
