Thats a great line up of prizes and initiative for people to wager and Just saw the PRC ad on btctalk looks great. Hopefully should increase the action on the site.

Thanks.

Yeah the banner looks good but the logo text is a little dark at moment, something up with the css. I messaged Theymos with a fix so hopefully he can set that up asap.

So if someone wagers 5btc, he automatically gets 0.01btc as a prize? if so, if there is 100 players wagering 5btc they all get 0.01? Or is it just the top 9-10 players? I think it need more details.

Hi, as mentioned it is the top 10 players on the leaderboard that get paid. However all 10 players can win up to 10 Bitcoin each day!
At midnight GMT a new leaderboard will start so even if you don't make it to the top 10 one day you can try again the day after.

Depending on how successful this promo is I might continue it next week and possibly all month so it would be great if people could spread the word.

Right, i missed that part, so what i understand is, if someone gets on the leaderboard, but have not wagered atleast 5btc, he/she won't get a prize. Correct? so if all 10 top leaderboard wagers 5000btc, they all get 10btc, or if all 10 wagers below 5 btc, they all won't get a prize.

That is correct. The minimum wager for the prize is 5 BTC.

I can not find a poker game , what there is only a game of dice ?
Or maybe in the launch period

This is not a launch period, the site is 2.5 years old.
There is no poker at the moment, only dice.
Poker may be back at the end of the year.
Thanks

192  Economy / Services / Convert Image to CSS - 0.25BTC on: September 04, 2015, 06:38:29 PM
Hi,
Looking for someone to convert this image to CSS

Must be done within the next 6 hours.
0.25 Bitcoin will be paid upon recieveing working XHTML/CSS.
An extra 0.1 will be awarded if you can produce valid BBCode to use the banner in signature on this forum.

Read the requirements below and then reply if you can do it.
I will choose someone asap to work on it. (previous samples of similar work would help)

DO NOT just post the code for this here as I don't want to have people working on it if I have chosen someone who will be paid already. You would be wasting your time.

Thanks

Requirements:
Recreate as much of the image with just HTML and CSS as possible. The cards in the logo and if needed the dice and the red star with the 1% in it can be converted to CSS box shadow using this site https://codepen.io/blazeeboy/pen/bCaLE

Try to keep the CSS simple but DO NOT minify it. Do not use inline CSS, put it in a script block to use in header or external file.

Your HTML must be valid XHTML.

Test your HTML/CSS looks ok on this page, where it says your ad here, https://bitcointalk.org/ad_test.html

The top lines of text, Win 270 BTC etc, should be all bold, not just the first word.

Sorry AndrewLp - you bid has been discounted due to your newbie status!

Thank you for your recent bid to advertise on Bitcointalk, Round 156.

The successful bidders were :

Stars : 5 @2.3BTC

FortuneJack : 2 @ 2.15BTC

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1107077.msg11776491#msg11776491

The forum sells ad space in the area beneath the first post of every topic page. About 25% of ad income goes to the forum moderators as thanks for all of their work. (There are many moderators, so each moderator gets only a small amount -- moderators should be seen as volunteers, not employees.) The rest is stored in the forum's treasury (verifiably), where it sits until the forum needs it.

Ads are allowed to contain any non-annoying HTML/CSS style. No images, JavaScript, or animation. Ads must appear 3 or fewer lines tall in my browser (Firefox, 900px wide). Ad text may not contain lies, misrepresentation, or inappropriate language. Ads may not link directly to any NSFW page. Ads may be rejected for other reasons, and I may remove ads even after they are accepted.

There are 10 total ad slots which are randomly rotated. So one ad slot has a one in ten chance of appearing. Eight of the slots are for sale here. Ads appear only on topic pages with more than one post, and only for people using the default theme.

The ad lasts at least 7 days starting from when I put it up. (However, if you look at the ad history you'll see that ads usually get at least 8 days, and sometimes as many as 10, but this is random and definitely not guaranteed.)

Stats

Exact historical impression counts per slot:
https://bitcointalk.org/adrotate.php?adstats

Info about the current ad slots:
https://bitcointalk.org/adrotate.php?adinfo

Ad blocking

Hero/Legendary members, Donators, VIPs, and moderators have the ability to disable ads. I don't expect many people to use this option. These people don't increase the impression stats for your ads.

I try to bypass Adblock Plus filters as much as possible, though this is not guaranteed. It is difficult or impossible for ABP filters to block the ad space itself without blocking posts. However, filters can match against the URLs in your links, your CSS classes and style attributes, and the HTML structure of your ads.

To prevent matches against URLs: I have some JavaScript which fixes links blocked by ABP. You must tell me if you want this for your ads. When someone with ABP and JavaScript enabled views your ads, your links are changed to a special randomized bitcointalk.org URL which redirects to your site when visited. People without ABP are unaffected, even if they don't have JavaScript enabled. The downsides are:
- ABP users will see the redirection link when they hover over the link, even if they disable ABP for the forum.
- Getting referral stats might become even more difficult.
- Some users might get a warning when redirecting from https to http.

To prevent matching on CSS classes/styles: Don't use inline CSS. I can give your ad a CSS class that is randomized on each pageload, but you must request this.

To prevent matching against your HTML structure: Use only one <a> and no other tags if possible. If your ads get blocked because of matching done on something inside of your ad, you are responsible for noticing this and giving me new ad HTML.

Designing ads

Make sure that your ads look good when you download and edit this test page:
https://bitcointalk.org/ad_test.html
Also read the comments in that file.

I will send you more detailed styling rules if you win slots in this auction (or upon request).

Auction rules

You must be at least a Jr Member to bid. If you are not a Jr Member and you really want to bid, you should PM me first. Tell me in the PM what you're going to advertise. You might be required to pay some amount in advance. Everyone else: Please quickly PM newbies who try to bid here to warn them against impersonation scammers.

Post your bids in this thread. Prices must be stated in BTC per slot. You must state the maximum number of slots you want. When the auction ends, the highest bidders will have their slots filled until all eight slots are filled.

So if someone bids for 8 slots @ 5 BTC and this is the highest bid, then he'll get all 8 slots. If the two highest bids are 8 slots @ 4 BTC and 1 slot @ 5 BTC, then the first person will get 7 slots and the second person will get 1 slot.

The notation "2 @ 5" means 2 slots for 5 BTC each. Not 2 slots for 5 BTC total.

- When you post a bid, the bids in your previous posts are considered to be automatically canceled. You can put multiple bids in one post, however.
- All bid prices must be evenly divisible by 0.05.
- The bidding starts at 0.50.
- I will end the auction at an arbitrary time no more than 12 days from now. (I will probably end the auction 1-3 days before the ads are scheduled to go up.)
- If two people bid at the same price, the person who bid first will have his slots filled first.
- Bids are considered invalid and will be ignored if they do not specify both a price and a max quantity, or if they could not possibly win any slots

If these rules are confusing, look at some of the past forum ad auctions to see how it's done.

I reserve the right to reject bids, even days after the bid is made.

You must pay for your slots within 24 hours of receiving the payment address. Otherwise your slots may be sold to someone else, and I might even give you a negative trust rating. I will send you the payment information via forum PM from this account ("theymos", user ID 35) after announcing the auction results in this thread. You might receive false payment information from scammers pretending to be me. They might even have somewhat similar usernames. Be careful.

Payment address :
1Dz5hJGnDeocCwW11Kw555rWCjWbFKrqo5

After funds have been transferred please inform me of the transaction I.D, after funds have been confirmed you will then be forwarded a link and password to access the information required for your advertisement to go live.

Thank you for supporting the Bitcointalk forum.

195  Economy / Gambling / Re: ! WARNING PRC (Pocketrocketscasino.eu) DONT PLAY HERE on: September 01, 2015, 07:44:39 AM
Can confirm some of what OP says.

I would recommend not playing there either.

I'd bet Dean scams before it is all said and done.

I had over 100 affiliates and helped Dean brain storm his affiliate system.  He then demanded that I turn over my affiliate earner for his set fee or he'd cut off my players.  I told him to go fuck himself.

Basically, Dean got me to work with him and once I had put in my time he said do this or your fucked.

It's been what? A year? And you still can't stop yourself from taking shots at me/PRC.

I know you have it in you to use basic logic so consider the fact that PRC/Me had 5000 Bitcoin invested only a month ago an I forced people to divest!
That's clearly not what a scammer would do, they'd run with the max amount no?
Where as I divested over 2000 Bitcoin in the past few weeks.

Remind me again what my target is meant to be.
196  Economy / Gambling / Re: ! WARNING PRC (Pocketrocketscasino.eu) DONT PLAY HERE on: August 30, 2015, 09:32:52 PM
My logic is flawed? I'm not sure you even know what 'logic' is.  I lost making some risky bets, but when I make it back safely you just change the site.  I guess I'm stupid for even telling you would have to do that in order to beat me currently.  I didn't think you would be coward enough to actually do it.  You are on your way to losing lots of business so it is your loss dean.

I will always find a way to beat you so it's okay, I'm flattered you had to change your site for me but I will be back and you will just have to change it again cause you are a coward piece of shit and your site is most likely rigged anyways.

I don't think you understand that I can beat the edge so your claim holds 0 weight, it is just something you say to make yourself feel better.....

You are failing to understand the fact that you winning makes no difference to me. You are not winning my money and I am not winning yours if you lose so what incentive do I have to cheat you or rig the site?
It's still provably fair using the same method as all the other major dice sites and can be verified with many 3rd party tools like dicesites.com.
197  Economy / Services / Re: Banner Contest - 0.5 Bitcoin prize on: August 30, 2015, 05:02:40 PM
PocketRocketsCasino,

I have replied to your PM, but so far I didn't received a reply. I'm not sure if you received my message, did you?

Thanks

Hi, I replied and have sent you 0.5 Bitcoin.

Thanks
198  Economy / Services / Re: Banner Contest - 0.5 Bitcoin prize on: August 30, 2015, 02:01:33 PM
I've chosen Theo Lewis as the winner with this design (and variations)

Congratulations, I'll send you a PM about payment etc.

Big thanks to everyone who participated.

This guy is a fucking scumbag scammer. constantly changing his site when you end up winning/breaking even.  Constantly bans from chat.  Recently changed his site to counter my winning strat, has deleted my stats to make it look like I didn't even bet.  This game is a scumbag.

Has a bunch of fake high rollers.

He recently changed his site from 1 sat min bet to 100 sat min bet after I told him I would never lose if he didn't... two weeks later he does after he realizes I haven't lost.

Constantly bans me from chat for calling him out on his lies.

Has a lot of nuthuggers who could be his anti-social ass anyway all talking on different accounts, constantly there acting like the site is the shit when nobody plays there.

FUCK THIS SITE FUCK DeAN tries to act like a nice guy but he is really just a GREEDY SHITHEAD HIDING BEHIND A COMPUTER!

http://prntscr.com/8aj1jq

http://prntscr.com/8aj1gi

he banned me before i could finish of course hes a fucking assbag

I'm sure 99% of people or more will see through your post and understand how illogical you are being.

Call me a scammer if you like, there's so much proof to the contrary that I don't have to repeat anything here.
Though if I was a scammer I think the smart option would have been to run with the 5k Bitcoin that was invested in PRC instead of divesting 10% weekly, that's 2k Bitcoin I've just paid back now. Not typical of a scammer.

I ban you from chat a lot yes because all you ever do is give insults and abuse.

I changed the minimum bet to 100 satoshis, that's not even 1 cent by the way, to make the site less attractive to users who wish to create 20 bots and bet a satoshi at a time since this is a complete waste on server resources (it loses PRC money allowing this btw) and it slows the site down for players who like to bet more than 1 cent.

There's nothing special about your strategy and it's not smart. It still will lsoe long term to the 1% edge. It will just take you longer to go broke.

About the stats, that's just a blatant lie. Even if I would like to delete stats it would be easy for you to dig them back up considering there's quite a few 3rd party databases that copy every single bet from PRC. Seuntjies bot being one.

Your claims about the fake high rollers would not make any sense since it would mean I'd lose money and you claim that I sit and talk to myself in chat to make it look busy. That's a bit silly to say since the chat isn't actually that busy at all (I didn't build a chat site) and you can still see messages from yesterday in the log.

200  Economy / Gambling / Re: Prcdice closed the investment feature on: August 30, 2015, 01:43:39 PM
I guess they made the algorithm unfair and removed the investors for them to profit ...
and maybe open it in some days after the people start complaining.
They haven't removed investors have they ? And I don't think they would ever make the algorithm unfair. No one would play there if they did.

Exactly, that's just a nonsense post he made.

Investment is closed to new investors. There was 5k btc invested and the site did not need all that so I auto divested 10% each week. Even now there's still 3k invested and a max payout of 290 Bitcoin, more than any other Bitcoin dice site.

There's no change to the algorithm at all, it's still the same provably fair method that you can verify using dicesites.com

nyktalgia1 is complaining about the increase in minimum bet and he thinks I done it so that he can't use some strategy he has created to win his coins back.
I have mentioned about increasing it for many months now. He was using 20 bots at the same time to bet 1 satoshi martingaling and it was giving worse performance to users who actually bet more than 1cent at a time so I increased it so that the site is not an attractive option for people looking to play using many bots betting one satoshi.
