181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes Bitcoin valuable? on: May 03, 2018, 10:51:31 AM
Bitcoin is valuable today for crypto currency enthusiasts, since bitcoin is one of the cryptocurrencies being accepted worldwide and still is because of supply and demand, and being the first of its kind, it gained more popularity and gained more value through time. As of now, we may not hear bitcoin being on mainstream except for the FUDs being side by those who wants to destroy bitcoin, but once bitcoin goes on mainstream and a much larger adaption had took place, countries might see bitcoin as an investment that they ignored, and at that time bitcoin's price is already higher and probably can save an entire country from debt.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia is going to accept crypto! on: May 02, 2018, 10:43:51 AM
I think this news is not new anymore, since russia had been mining bitcoins for a long time now, alongside with china, they already had acceptec bitcoin, but the news was it is solely for the government's purpose, but if they are now letting their citizens to use cryptocurrency for transactions, there would be a lot of millionaires that will come from russia, given their cold climate and low electricity cost, they could just mine all the coins they want, which will give them a great advantage among other countries.
183  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Will bitcoin disappear in the future? on: May 01, 2018, 12:37:24 PM
Theoretically yes, but i doubt it in this life time, since adaption of bitcoin is expanding and is always being improved, there is no doubt bitcoin and other crptocurrencies will be here to stay, unless been replaced by a much more convenient way of payment, just like what had happened with precious merals, gold and silver before was the currency, then replaced by paper notes. I think you would not ask the question as well if you are a believer, it seems to me you are still doubting your investments, just make sure you understand everything first, before you make any speculations.
184  Economy / Marketplace / Re: THE FUTURE FOR THE ELECTRONIC MONEY MARKET on: May 01, 2018, 10:46:29 AM
There is no doubt that cryptocurrency will replace fiat in the future, most millenials already accept the idea of going anonymous kn any transactions they do, since almost everything they do is on social media, the whole world knows about them, I think when it comes to money matters that's something that they do want to keep in private. As of now, baby bloomers are still in the position, they are the ones deciding what and what no to be a part of, and since they will be replace by millenials soon, cryptocurrency will likely to boom further at that time, since fiat will no longer be of value to them, still it will need further studies, and that is what millenials are good at, they had experienced a technology lower than we have today and can adapt in the technology we have now with ease.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Iran Next In Line With Its National Cryptocurrency on: April 30, 2018, 10:11:24 PM
This move might have some influence with its allies, specifically russia, since they are open to cryptocurrency, no doubt sooner or later its allies will also venture in it, and since the US think they can control everything, this time they might use a crypto currency that will be used in order to transact oil rather than using petrodollar, and since their country had been at war for sometime, they might see the use of cryptocurrency differently than those at west, who use cryptocurrency more of an asset than as a currency,  hopefully there maybe peace in the middle east once they all have their own cryptocurrency, instead of using the petrodollar.
186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin traders, why don't you just trade forex? on: April 30, 2018, 11:29:49 AM
First, both investments are good, you can earn more than 100% in your investment if you are that good in trading, second, both are open 24/7, it will just depend on your platfrom for forex if they will close for maintenance or some issues, the same goes with bitcoin and to be specific, it goes for the wallets, not the whole exchange, third, the skills you use for one, can be use to the other, however, what differs most is the transaction, you need to get a third party for forex in order for you to trade, it is not real time as well, there are a lot of people you need to talk to, just to make money, but for bitcoin, no more third parties, you just simply need your skills then it is up to you whether you make it or not. People who trade in crypto currency, wants freedom, they don't want to anyone telling them what to do, they want to anonymous,  whereas for forex, you will be treaeted differently, since you are giving them money as well, you will have a sense of entitlement that will make you complacent.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: The panic seller irony on: April 30, 2018, 10:47:25 AM
Panic selling is normal for investors who really don't believe in what they invested on, I know a lot of people who are still lanic selling even though they have years of experience in investing, this is not something that we must do habitually, since it will decrease out earnings and capital. To avoid panic selling make to target an exit point, once the value reaches that high or low, simply withdraw, at least you have a plan, what I notice from panic sellers, is that they do not have a solid proof plan, it is like they just invested for the sake of investing, thus the reason they are always investing in both bull trap and bear trap periods, then just an hour of research, they believe in FUDs already, and that strategy will just make you loose everytime.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Strategy: holding but trading on: April 30, 2018, 08:38:58 AM
It is ok to hold a coin for aong time, just make sure thag it is worth it, some coins today already have a bad reputation since they are alrrady considered of no value, ghen if you are going to trade, do not trade them when you see you are at loss, make sure that you don't do it by impulse, give time to your investment first and see what will happen. I also do that strategy but in a different way, I set 50-70% of the coin to be sold at a certain price once it goes up, then hold thr remaining, at lest in the end if the coin loses value, I already made profit, if it gains, I'm still making profit.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: April 30, 2018, 12:21:37 AM
Personally I would rather bet my money in the crypto market, however, the nature of the market is very volatile, there are times when you win, there are times you loose, but looking at it in a bigger perspective, your money will surely gain profits in time, but that is not a guarantee for all coins. I still keep some of my money in the bank, since we always need a back up plan, I don't always invest all my money in one market, still do diversification, then once the price a coin i like goes down, I buy in bulk, wait for it to recover then sell, then take my profit and repeat.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN : Oppotunity Or Challenge? on: April 29, 2018, 04:18:05 PM
for an investor i think it is both, since we see bitcoin as an opportunity to have more returns, unlike in the stock market, though we have returns, it seems to be slow now, once you got used to trading and investing in bitcoin, it is also an opportunity to test our skills 24/7, to come up with different strategy on how we can invest in the market, it also helps us further understand the volatility of an investment, in a way giving us hope in the future, that once we failed on a strategy, we can still continue on with the next, and make a new strategy that will work and we can apply it on any investments. it is also a challenge, since it is hard to obtain bitcoin now, what we can do is to make a goal, that is to have one bitcoin even after a year or make a goal that, will help us become better in investing, and since bitcoin is one of the hardest investment there is, we can challenge ourselves.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: True BTC believers on: April 29, 2018, 03:13:09 PM
we are all here in the community because we believe in bitcoin and not just because of the hype and to earn from campaigns, we are all here updating ourselves and getting opinions of others, since an advise from someone who doesn't know anything about cryptocurrency will surely be too expensive, just a mistake on the codes for mining, a mistake in reading the charts, might have drastic consequences. those who truly believes in bitcoin, knows when to buy and when to sell, since we are all investing here, though most of us here are not miners, our entry point still is a key for us to gain more profits, though some of us had invested a lot in mining rigs ans we saw the rise of the value of bitcoin last year then a downfall the past month, if you really believe in bitcoin, though the value may had decrease yo'll still continue to mine and if you're not a miner, you'll hodl and accumulate still.
192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is the most "feared investment" on: April 28, 2018, 10:47:31 PM
I agree with the title of this tolpic, bitcoin is the most feared investment, since not all would want to understand what is going on with bitcoin, how it was created and why, then there are FUDs from left to right, and it is coming from prominent figures in the financial industry, then there is the the FOMO back in january, thus we have a lot of people who experience bull trap today. Most people are staying away from bitcoin since there have been scams as well. What is should they do, for them not to fear bitcoin, is to study and learn what it is all about, I still remeber back then 2010 bitcoin is being recognized in the internet, I was doubting it for 2 years, then I noticed people still talking about it, after fearing and doubting took me nowhere I studied and understand what bitcoin is and other altcoins, now I do not fear it, I can easily  get a gist of the market now and avoid traps. Education is still key, for you not to fear investing in cryptocurrency.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SELL YOUR ALTCOINS! BITCOIN WILL DOMINATE THE MARKET! on: April 28, 2018, 07:49:13 AM
I do not see what you are trying to point out here,  bitcoin is already dominating, if you have a lot of bitcoins in your hand and consider yourself a whale, why not make profit with other altcoins, I agree with you that bitcoin is dominating the market and will still dominate the market in the future, but the price of bitcoin will be too much for the average person to own, but with altcoins, we can make use of fiat to buy them and in time their value will also grow, but not the same as bitcoin, still you will have profit, and the reason why people create altcoins is to make a crypto currency that can rival bitcoin, but with a certain cause, and since their have been altcoins in the market, I think that's the only time people appreciated that they invested early on bitcoin, since there are now POS coins and masternodes, you can obtain them by just a fraction of your bitcoin. From what I am seeing, all crypto currency goes hand in hand with each other, let's just not simply focus on bitcoin.
194  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what you should do crisis time in trading ? on: April 28, 2018, 04:15:20 AM
Be objective, never be subjective when the market falls down, since every after pull backs, there will always be a bounce back. Never let your emotions get the best of you, if you think you cannot handle loss, stay away from FUDs, it will distract you from your goal, if you do read them, make sue to do further research, do not just rely on one article or in hearsays, since we live in an advance age people could easily influence a lot a of people just to scare and their plan is also to invest, if you look at the history, a lot of people had bashes bitcoin and a lot became afraid because it came from famous personalities and just did that. Make sure to have a plan, for bitcoin I would suggest just to accumulate and accumulate since we are in the crypto market bitcoin will always be valuable.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin newbie looking for some advice on: April 28, 2018, 12:10:09 AM
It is a good thing that you know how much you are willing to loose, hopefully you had invested on the 6k mark, since it is considerably low compared to bitcoin's price months before, since you are nee to crypto and wanted to be a trader, I would suggest to read investment books first, go with the basics, resear h about fundamental analysis and tecb ical analysis, after that use first a small amount of your bitcoin in trading, whag I did was, I searched one of the most volatile altcoin in the market and it XRP, since you will see trading pairs in your platform, understand how it works first, if the increase of the value of your altcoin is higher than bitcoin, once you sell them you will gain more bitcoins, or if the value of bitcoin goes down and your altcoin doesn't you still gain bitcoins, but be sure to know when to exit, do not get too emotional, and that is one part on your side that you need to discipline, always have an exit plan, do not greed take over. Lastly, once you are already earning in the market, keep in mind the basics, do not be complacent on your skills, always be updated and continue learning, most investors in the market fail because they do not continue learning, remember in crypto, innovations will always take place, before we only have power of work, now we have power of stake, then comes masternodes, sooner or later a new innovation will come in.
196  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price Pullback on: April 27, 2018, 12:00:13 PM
The price pullback is healthy when you look at it, since mt.gox will still be distributing the bitcoins that they have, the price will will still go down and there will be ahuge volume of bitcoin that is going to be available in the market, from what I see, let's not just go with hype and speculations here, and wait till the right correction will happen, it is true that the bulls are back, but mt.gox is considered a very huge whale, and once the release the bitcoins they have expect for a massive price drop, there has been article in the internet, that they release only a fraction of bitcoin they they have and the price went down to 6k USD, this is anticioated already, there is no doubt that bitcoin's value will go up, but pullbacks like this is healthy for the market.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you handle your emotion when crypto markets go up and down?? on: April 27, 2018, 11:25:05 AM
For you to handle your emotions, first make sure that waht you invest, is the extra money that you have, make sure that it is something that you could afford to loose, a lot of beginners makes this mistake, they invest money that they can't afford to loose, thus when the market goes down, they also go down or sometimes commit suicide, the reason is that they forget to make a plan that will save them once the market goes down, and all their life ssvings are placed in the market, this mistake will make you very emotional, since you will have regrets, if the market falls and forget the exit plan that you created, if you are not that disciplined, you will end up relying more in the market, rather than judt making the market an extra income for you, those who solely rely now in the market for compensation, are those who had invested earlier, thus they haveenough gains, eeven if the market goes down, they are secured. Avoid this mistake and for sure, you will see the market in a different way and will be more objective rsther being subjective, in which your emotions will always take over.
198  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalization of Bitcoin in Australia on: April 27, 2018, 10:46:09 AM
This seems to be a good think, wherein governments try to control bitcoin, it only shows that bitcoin has intrinsic value, thus governments mined them before, and now regulating them. I hope that australia is not just copying USA and other european countries in the regulation, since there might be confusion in all parties, if these countries had regulated bitcoin and for the sake of fheir government and not the people to be protected, I think a fault done in australia will tried to be ruled out by US, sayaing that they have a regulation in bitcoin and all should follow, however for legalizations, bitcoin was never illegal in australia since they have no laws pertaining to digital currencies, I think the correct way of daying it, is they finally recognized bitcoin as currency.
199  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice please on what to do with my coin on: April 27, 2018, 02:30:55 AM
I wouldn't count it as a loss, since bitcoin is volatile, you could never predict when the price will rise up again, though you just jumped in to something you don't know, it is a good thing that you are asking the community for help, rather than watching the news or believing in hearsays that people say about bitcoin bitcoin, what you should do is to hold your bitcoins for now, do not sell them off just yet, there is a reason why a lot of bitcoiners are holding now, one of them is once the price rises, it really rises more than double your investment at some point, also a suggestion, since you already had a bad entry, study the market and make a good exit, you could at least exit breaking even or gaining profit, but do not exit when you losing, since you are new, that will be a great experience for you.
200  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines Legalizes Cryptocurrency Exchanges in Economic Zone on: April 27, 2018, 12:03:55 AM
Hopefully this will change the views of people regarding crypto currency, since it is not that long ago that someone made a scam using bitcoin and it gave a bad reputation to bitcoin for those who failed to resesrch what bitcoin is, and what is cryptocurrency, since a lot of people got scammed and made it on the news, i think having an exchnage is a huge step for the community, since the set back. Not only Filipinos are looking forward for the exchange but those who are among the region as well, the only problem I see ks which internet provider are they going to use and what technology, therr is no doubt the Philippines has the highest of internet with very poor service.
