Just built form source, things are looking good ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Yeah been adding lots of little things here and there, it's getting there but may see if I can persuade you to give me a hand with just a couple things this weekend once I'm finished with all of it ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I have been working recently on some further upgrades for integration. The two projects I work exclusively on are ColossusCoin2 and PayCon, I took over PayCon but coded and launched ColossusCoin2 and keep them in line so I can work on both at the same time meaning that upgrades for one means upgrades for both. I won't give a timeline (as it's prudent to make promises you can't keep) but in the works I have swappable theme's, additions to Coin control for viewing and sorting Blocks by age and weight, listing of transactions based on a date range (which makes it useful for determining the amount of Stake over a given period), Coin control through RPC, Delete address GUI along with a few extra features. The only cost to this would just be the rebuilds of the wallets but I would also like to sort out some hosting for a built-in DNS seeder or two which would eliminate the need for the ColossusCoin2.conf file but that isn't really mandatory atm and can be included in one of the wallet updates.

Sent you the 4th video! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Fantastic, I've already seen it and it looks great! I'll add it in over the next couple days, maybe even bust it out all at once.

So...
Now that Josh's NDA's are useless are we actually going to get the juice? So far this thread fails to deliver anything.

Nice! “We will vigorously enforce” the rules that protect whistle-blowers, he said. Now if only they could protect government whistle-blowers with the same vigor. Oh well at least Gamza just got F'ed up the A. On Wednesday, the Securities and Exchange Commission penalized the technology and engineering firm KBR for forcing employees to sign “restrictive” confidentiality agreements, the regulator’s first such action against a company suspected of stifling potential whistle-blowers.
The S.E.C. has escalated enforcement of its whistle-blower protections as part of an effort by the agency to turn a historical sore spot into an advantage. After missing warning signs about Bernard L. Madoff’s Ponzi scheme, the S.E.C. created a whistle-blower program and vowed to punish companies that muzzle potential tipsters. As of now Homero's NDAs are null and void. Come forth Whistle-blowers. You are free birds! This is good news all around, not just with GAW. It's great to see this type of this. <------Also new avatar hotness woot! Fantastic, I can't wait to see what all comes out of the woodwork soon TMMineraltalk seems to be exactly the same as Hashtalk, if Josh really wants to show that it is in fact different then he should make suchmoon a mod there ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Still not going to register there since I can't trust them and still not buying XPY since it's the Blockchain that counts and it's still broken and still pays a massive inbalance to a very small group of people. PayCoin succeed? PayCoin fail? makes no difference to me really as long as it exists just so we can make fun of it. Yeah that's right, gonna parody the fuck outta PayCoin because it's great marketing for fun and profit whilst designing a truly great Cryptocurrency ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) PayCon - We don't deny it

yeah that can be a real pain in the ass fo sho
just so I have this clear, it's going to be a hyperstake wallet with the explorer built in?
Yes sir. A real explorer, not a crawler like most other coins have. It is all rpc based at the moment of course, but its more about the code behind it and the DB, not about making it flashy. Basically how my explorer code functions:- scan block for all tx's held by the block - scan each transaction id and create a "transaction summary" for each address in that txid. each txsum has a blockfrom, deposit, withdraw, minted, and mined variables that are filled in. - insert each txsum object into an array that is tracked per address - keep a record of every address seen and update its balance, minted total, mined total each time it is seen, store this in Richlist db These basic things allow for us to query any address, which will bring up the vector of txsums for that address. With this vector you can quickly find a balance by adding all the withdraw and deposits in each txsum, or you can print out a list of transaction id's for that address. We can also bring up our richlist that is a simple group of every address with its current balance, amount mined, and amount minted. So my code is built from the ground up, it doesn't even use the txindex=1 functionality. And it provides full address querying without having to dig through the chain each time you query that address. Of course I would love to add even more functionality over time too. This is made for HYP, but I would like to make it neat on github so other coins can easily cherry pick it if they want. Can you imagine a crypto world where you can get all the info you need from your wallet? No checking websites. If you think your richlist/balances are wrong just hit reindex, or ask a friend what their wallet says. It seems like this is how wallet clients should have been all along. Wow man, keep up the great work! Gonna have to grab some Hyp when I have a bit of extra cash but I have definitely been spreading the word everywhere I can. How many developers work open source and don't get mad when people want to use parts of the code? Very few and I've seen ALOT of Coins. Best be supporting these guys because they are making a difference, the unsung hero's of the Crypto world ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Hello Crestington
I have sent you a PM with a link to GitHub, dark theme etc ...
I got your PM and I have pushed all the changes to Github and will be available as the default theme in the next update along with the Darkwood theme courtesy of FlutterCoin. Here is a little preview for everyone ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fs29.postimg.org%2Fr41o4vl0n%2FPay_Conwallet.png&t=663&c=Cq0Uc941RaAD5w)

So what's happened recently? What's the TLDR yo?
TL; DR - Homero still scammer, alphabet agencies closing in, paycoin value in toilet, GAW shutting down Hashtalk, Pastor Adam will be rooming with Josh in the pokey for money laundering, Josh is having hissy fits that no media outlets except badbitcoin like him, hashlets program official decommissioned, rumors of GAW going back to some sort of cloud mining venture, debuted shitty website called Coinstand that will sell products at 95% off but no one can actually use. Also, SoonTM. HAHA thanks! Things change a lot in just a couple days, turns out people having problems with Coinstand and PayBase is also getting shut down and people should send their Coins to the PayCoin.com wallet (which recently was hacked but you have no choice since the local wallet doesn't work). Carsen Klock tuned on Josh for not paying him but then turned back to Josh and then turned on him again, high ranking old members speaking up but not technically speaking up because they signed NDA's and turns out Josh owes a lot of people a lot of money.

Hey Den, Sounds great ! Are the issues from V1 fixed ? We lost a bunch of V1 coins in various wallet/staking bugs.. There is also a few left in our wallets. Is there a swap ? I'll take a more detailed look into CV2 and I'll let you know. Thanks for the suggestions. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Quote from Yogg and a few Questions: "Are the issues from V1 fixed ? Den There has not been issues with V2 but there are still issues with V1 and have recently been provided with a possible solution to the syncing issue. Sudo and Heat007 have been working on the swap form and I will add in the fix for V1 and do some testing this weekend to see if that resolves the problem so we can get the swap underway. Perfect! I also own V1, happy you guys working on it ! Many thanks to the DEV-team: Continue with your good work and keep your tail up! Den Yeah I remember you being a supporter from early on, even advertising on the BTC-e trollbox as well. I want to make sure everything goes smoothly and everyone gets their Coins, there is a lot of good people around ColossusCoin.

Josh&Co are scooping up the Buy Bids before the market reacts to the next bombshell showing that Paycoin is a blatant scam: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FA44kUEB.jpg&t=663&c=6f8qs9A6z3EVrQ) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FuejHimU.gif&t=663&c=P_QdcZ1RZZuJIg) Showing? Josh already confirmed it himself! But it's OK it stray from being honest at times, everyone else does it so it's totally fine to lie to people for your own personal gain. What? you don't lie to people because you have morals? Shame on you. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fs24.postimg.org%2Fqwggq4hcl%2FImage9.png&t=663&c=pip9Xb-VLxyMNw)

Saw this mentioned in another thread. Downloaded wallet and have it caught up. But, I'm a newbie, is there a way to mine this coin on a humble home computer? Can someone provide me a link to how to do it?
It's Proof of Stake only which means that you mine more Coins by owning Coins. When you deposit Coins into your wallet they are stamped with the time that you have received them, after a minimum of 2 days they are eligible to Stake and you will receive a reward of 30 Coins per Block you Stake and it all happens automatically and can be done without needing any mining hardware and on a humble home computer (all it requires is being able to run the wallet). It relies on the sizes of the transactions you receive, each transaction (or Block of Coins) acts like a small miner so if for example you bought 10,000 Coins and you sent it to your wallet in one transaction then you would have one Block of 10,000 Coins. After 2 days (the minimum age) you open your wallet again and sync, that Block of 10,000 would immediately Stake and you would receive 30 Coins and Split into 2 equal Blocks. However if you check the Block explorer, the average Block to Stake is around 500 so if you split up that 10,000 by sending it in smaller amounts of 1000 then you have 10 Blocks that would Stake at around the same time all for 30 Coins each so you would have received 300 Coins for Staking 10 Blocks rather than 30 Coins for Staking one Block. The smaller the Blocks of Coins you have, the longer it takes for each transaction to Stake. If you would like to see the sizes of the Blocks you own, you can navigate to the "Send Coins" tab in your wallet and click on "inputs" and it will give you a list of the addresses and sizes of your Blocks and you can sort it by size, confirmations or groups. If you want to split up larger Blocks (or combine smaller Blocks) you can select the Blocks you want and send them to yourself. Hope this helps a bit.

I was just stopping it to say that the new wallet looks fantastic ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) , but I see you've already released another new one ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) lol. Man, you work hard. Kudos to the incredible development Crestington, and to everybody else who has contributed. PayCon continues to surprise, and impress. I can't wait to check out some of these new features. Yup, well I outsource for the builds of the windows and mac wallets so I like to grab as much as I can in each update, I have a build for Windows but would include the extra files necessary to run it vs just the .exe version (which is better for the less experienced). Time is often limited so I could go through to do up the builds myself but I like to try to focus on the core and outsourcing the builds for like $50 here and there aren't really a big deal considering it also goes to other developers in the community ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Thanks for taking the time to drop by, I know you have been extremely busy with all your own stuff as well. It's a common misconception that people have the time and money to advance everything at lightning speed, most everyone does this stuff in their spare time and have real jobs and life commitments that come first so I find it's good to prod just a bit to get some help but know that you can never force people to do things, hence why we aim for no deadlines and no rules, all participation is great and everything is appreciated ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Sorry if this has been answered, but is there an online wallet that stakes or any online wallet at least at all for this coin? I would like to have some of this coin instead of paycoin which is obvious scam and not legit like paycon. And do I have to always keep my pc on if I want to stake and install a wallet on my pc? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Thanks, and keep it up, a cool coin ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) edit: oh, seems pc has to be online... and opened means unlocked right? There isn't an online wallet but you can create one yourself and host multiple Coins, not just PayCon and would cost about $5-10 a month for hosting. Your wallet would need to be open and online in order to Stake once your Coins have matured atleast 2 days. Send me a message so I don't forget and I'll put together a guide for you for it this weekend. This is something on my todo list as well, would be great to give users an install script so you can just pay for your hosting in BTC, run the script and it will set it all up for you without much hassle and then also would work for whatever Coin you want, basically like a generic, self maintained online wallet.

On Paybase: GAWSOME! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) GAW employees are such FUDders! Yap, Gaw s been junk since day one. Sorry for you people investing so much in it. You cannot recreate BTC. There s only one BTC. But XPY is faster ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Makes all of those hundreds of thousands of transactions shuffling millions of Premine and Prime Controller produced Paycoins owned by Josh&Co in and out of different addresses and then sending them to exchanges more efficient. My estimate is that at minimum, 90% of all XPY transactions are these shuffles, and have been since day 1. And the added bonus of creating a huge amount of Blockchain Bloat!! I'm sure you could swing that as some kind of unique feature.

I pm you too..with no success...I had the impression that you people dont really care what your clients are up to or the problems they are facing. Mint, Hyperstake, Opal...I have trouble with all wallets....They dont even bother to answer.
As for Hyperstake My wallet is out of sync...i download v.1.1.0.2 but nothing changed Half of my coins are in the balance the other half are in the stake, and i have ~38785 blocks remaining.....I should have about 100000 HYP, but when i check the rich list it shows I have only 50000...that cant be true...as I transfer 65000 on 02/01/2015 in the wallet before I even started to stake d021c69f4a39738ad8afe42ee97fe7fa488bc4e5ff1b7b557bdb0e072c402f7e-000 I deleted everything from ROaming directory without the wallet.dat and now after the blockchain was downloaded all my coins disappeared from my wallet..all the transactions are visible but I have 0 balance
Sorry about not replying, I have been out of the country for the last week and a half and had a lot of things going on. Also it is easy to lose track of PM's. You address has 75,037 HYP and it has minted 10,000 of that. You may have more in change addresses. Follow billotronic's instructions and see if more shows up. Also, if you take five seconds to read, you would see that me and a lot of others care a lot about the wallet, and have put hundreds of hours of work into the wallet. It is a bit annoying when people that have no idea what is going on, come in to this thread with crazy assumptions. I fully understand your frustration there, Press. To Saros: Not sure where you have been, but the HyperStake community has been very responsive since the day the coin launched. Presstab and I met when he was on the TEK development team, and he was always quick to answer then, too. Generally tried to lead me to the solution by logic to make me learn, which some days was irritating, but in the long term I am grateful for this. From him, and a few others, I have learned enough that I COULD create a clone coin. I have no real inclination to do so, but considering where I started, that's something. Yes, a LOT of alts have been hyped up for a little while and abandoned. This one is NOT one of those. We're a very active community. I'm curious as to what the issue would be and will keep an eye out for the solution as stability does play an important part, keep up the good work guys. As far as I can recollect, there were no issues with the wallet code from the very first weeks of deployment. All concerns that were aroused lied in the filed of the API usage, not the code itself. I was thinking about it and the specific issue was probably relating to the hardfork in that the person didn't bother to update and got frustrated, hopefully they ended up getting it resolved.

Lol, I think I'd rather be over here among the "angry trolls" that will challenge everything you do and see through any façade than to feel like your teaching advanced calculus to chimps. Hashtalk should have an IQ test in order to gain entry and if you score more than 80 you get permanently banned.
