1801  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 17, 2014, 10:15:37 PM
The 2 S3's are running off of an Enermax 1000W (ERV1000EWT-G) PSU I pulled out of one of my S2's. Each S3 is averaging 440Gh/s (+/- 5Gh/s)

While not perfect (lower than projected speed due to power issues), an excellent delivery just 1 month after the initial announcement. Good job Bitmain.
1802  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: July 17, 2014, 10:05:08 PM
"sorta" as in how?  sorta like BFL, sorta delivered it's product? eventually... or still trying to... or won't... sorta?

Well, they've shipped quite a few, but I think there are still a lot of pre-orders not yet shipped.
1803  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: July 17, 2014, 09:55:28 PM
who is shipping "this weeks" 20nm technology?

KnC sorta, but I'd rather have Bitmain's (or Spondoolies) 28nm technology over KnC's 20nm.
1804  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 17, 2014, 09:52:30 PM
I was order #8 in batch 1. Received all 4 S3's today.

Did some power measurements for those who might be curious. Kill-a-watt is showing power draw at the wall for two S3's as they come out of the box.

Nice. What's the PSU and hashrate?
1805  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: July 17, 2014, 09:23:54 PM
Just for information:

I ordered 1 x-1, back in september. Order number was 12x, Payment via Paypal.

why not contacting paypal about not delivered goods ? the problem would be solved within few days. now hunting roi Sad

Unfortunately, getting PayPal to pay up for an order that long ago is very hard. It's definitely worth trying, but don't get your hopes up. When using PayPal, always be sure to open a dispute within the allotted time (45 days).
1806  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who believes in $10,000 a coin? on: July 17, 2014, 05:11:04 AM
I think this will be Impossible until the FBI auctions off their 140k coins.

Investors are not stupid enough to invest money into bitcoins at this point knowing that the FBI has 140k coins that they will auction off - the auction will of course cause the price to fall considerably.

The only real use of coins at this point is if you need to open an exchange with them or have some other use like the silk road coin winner did (I think he was opening an exchange with the coins he won/ exchange arbitrage or something) - but investors who want to simply hold coins will simply wait for the 140k auction  and buy cheaply when the price crashes - at that point the market can start rising again - depending on who bought the coins (steady hands vs weak ones who will dump when price rises) and other factors.

The marshals just completed a 30k auction, and if anything, the price went up. It sure didn't crash.
1807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My $11k bitcoin odyssey on: July 16, 2014, 11:54:57 PM
I will not buy unless we go under 500.

Why not buy some now, and buy more if it goes under 500? There's a good chance we never drop below 500 again. When bitcoin hits 5000 you'll really wish you had bought at 620.
1808  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AMT users thread. on: July 15, 2014, 07:00:21 PM
To be honest just looking at the pictures its pretty obvious what they are and comparing them to the website. They are just re-branded...honestly see nothing wrong with that.

So this is what they're shipping to everyone? $1000 machines to people who spent $5000? Even Apple can't pull off those kind of profit margins. WTG Josh!

Update 1.2ths

AMT continues their censorship spree, without giving customers answers.

Another 30 out today. Please be kind enough to post that you've received a tracking number. Thanks.

What exactly are you shipping? Why are you hiding that fact? What are you hiding?

Huh they posted that in the last page did they not? Its pretty obvious they are AMT branded dragon miners. Until people start actually getting them though we won't know for sure really tho.

1 TH dragons?
1.2 TH dragons?
2 TH dragons?
scrypt dragons?

What exactly?

According the the OP.

2. The Above must be done by Thursday Night 8PM Mountain Time USA

I assumed that was the schedule for batch 1. Are you sure that's also the schedule for batch 2?
1811  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Which ASICs are least loud? on: July 15, 2014, 01:29:13 AM
You can't beat Bitfury for quiet. New Bitfurys are available, but are quite expensive.

Kept in a cool place, I expect the new S3 to be relatively quiet.

Link please? I've seen nothing actually for sale from the usual sites in a long time.

The post above yours.

When does batch 2 close?
1813  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AMT users thread. on: July 14, 2014, 11:58:54 PM
Yes, otherwise I would not have mentioned it.

Ok, good. Yes, 2000 will blow not only every 15a circuit, but every 20a circuit at 120v. You can't run a circuit above 80% continuous (20a * 120v * 80% = 1920 watts). You will have to use dual circuits. They come with dual 1000w power supplies, so you'll have to put each power supply on a separate circuit.
1814  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio, Best $/GH/s ratio on: July 14, 2014, 08:14:46 PM
Hi,

We have now opened the books on a very limited basis for pre order due to popular demand Smiley

If you would like me to reserve 10 SP50 units @ 5BTC the payment address is :

<censored>

Thank you for your continued business,

Spondoolies-Tech

Should I also do the checkout on the webpage?  I looked but I don't see a way to pay in bitcoin.  I can send dollars.  Either way, it sure is great that you guys are now taking preorders for preorders.  I am dying to get my hands on the new SP50s!

Way to go Spondoolies!!!

Thanks

Please don't encourage the scammers. It's not a joke. Someone could make a mistake and get taken for a lot of money.
1815  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AMT users thread. on: July 14, 2014, 08:09:48 PM
As nice as that would be, for those unaware with even one of those 2THs boxes, you will blow any 15A circuit (which is most US homes and apartments) 20A will run it, but you will need some cooling just from the looks of it it looks like a monster.....and for anyone with the cash, run it in a datacenter. Getting it hosted is your really best option unless you are willing and able to spend the money to add more Amps to a circuit or two (not to mention the nice electric bill that comes in at the end of the month).

Just looking at the specs online for these things. http://www.bit-winkor.com/xproducts_view.aspx?id=11 25Kg=55Lbs.

You do realize those are the exact same machines AMT is now bragging about?
1816  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: BFL (Butterfly Labs) Monarch Very Late. ||Attention: Lawyers & Monarch Customers on: July 14, 2014, 06:14:55 AM
No it is not legal to hold customer funds "forever" however if there are legit delays in producing the product that is being sold then as far as I can tell then would be acceptable in the eyes of the law.

Delays must be accepted by the customer, and if the customer refuses to accept the delay, a "prompt refund" is required. Never ending delays without refunds is not legal. Period.
1817  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Lowest Difficulty increase in a while! on: July 14, 2014, 12:44:46 AM
The two best mining manufacturers, Bitmain and Spondoolies, are in between generations. By the end of July they should both be pumping out huge amounts of hashpower. Enjoy a couple small difficulty increases. It's a temporary respite.

Sorry AMT, deleting posts won't do any good.

Since you're buying existing cheaper miners and shipping them as your own, how many miners are you sending each order?

Announcement:
We Segree Digital have developed new 2TH/S A1 28NM miner

Price and Delivery

Unit factory price : 2700USD/PC
More than 10pcs:  2600USD/PC

Looks like 3x 2TH/s miner for each 1.2 T order seems fair.
1820  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Lunamine legit or not? on: July 14, 2014, 12:14:37 AM
lunamine.com
They offer cloud mining they are a bit cheaper than pbmining. Who's used their service are they legit?

That depends. Do they deliver freshly-minted coins? If not, then they're just another ponzi. Proceed at your own risk.
