Oh, look, icebreaker again. Let me guess, he's coming to the defense of CT. Icebreaker, defender of all the failed miners. Who's next on your list? Going to go defend BlackArrow next?

It's possible, but your chances of finding a block with 12Gh/s in your lifetime is extremely small.
Low cost, but high reward. Not a bad idea.

The funniest thing (to me anyway) was that there was about 30 or 40 BFL Monarch's that a customer sent them, but didn't realize they needed to provide their own power supplies or a computer of any kind to connect to the USB ports, so they were just sitting there waiting for the customer to ship them the power supplies so they could plug them in. It's surprising to me that a customer would jump into mining by buying so much gear, signing a hosting contract, and have absoutely no idea what kind of equipment they were buying and what was necessary to hook it up.
He should leave them off. He'll only lose more money by turning them on.

There are no specific laws or regulations regarding Bitcoin in Belgium.
The Belgian Finance Minister, in response to a question by a Belgian senator, stated in July 2013 that while the Bitcoin system seems to be somewhat problematic as a potential tool for money laundering and other illegal activities, such problems should not be overstated. He also stated that, based on studies from the Belgian central bank (Banque nationale de Belgique) and the European Central Bank, the bitcoin does not present any significant risks to price stability, to the financial system in general, or to its individual users. Finally, in this same statement, the Minister of Finance indicated that government intervention with regard to the Bitcoin system does not appear necessary at the present time.
So you're saying that you can steal people bitcoins because it's not illegal in Belgium. I'll let people know that's your plan. We dont have to prove nothing to you. Prove your not an idiot... oh wait you cant... You are the one making claims, thus you are the one that needs to prove them. Don't you want to make me look like a fool? Post your mining address and prove you have 354 TH/s. Post your 2009 bitcoin address to prove you have been mining since then. Until then I'll keep calling you liar.

I think I will stop here anyway, You guys are obviously jealous that we are running a legitimate service and making money from it, you wouldnt be trolling this hard otherwise
Yes, go back to your self-moderated thread where you can hide behind deleted posts. We'll continue to expose your lies here and there's nothing you can do to stop it.

hah, report me for what? working as a support engineer for a legitimate service, are you so stupid not to realise, we have done nothing illegal or wrong nor will we.
For running a Ponzi scam. We'll let the police decide. you are rediculously stupid its quite unbelievable, now be quiet, do your homework and go to bed, grown ups are talking on this thread. Well I am anyway.
I dont have any old addresses from 2009, I personally started in 2010. but even so I only have addresses from the past year.
"rediculously stupid"? LOL. If you're going to try to insult someone's intelligence, at least spell it correctly. I'm asking about whoever was making the 2009 claim. Prove it or you're a liar.

Well there are 3 of us now and another one of the support staff will be using this account in 4 or so hours, We are from different countries. Personally I am from Belgium and well our private investor....oh PRIVATE investor.. yeah well his information believe it or not.. is Private. Which town in Belgium? I need to contact your police to report you. Feel free to PM me the information. When your "private investor" runs with the funds the police won't be able to catch the thief because he's from an unknown country. How convenient for you. Let's continue with more MineThatCloud lies. http://www.minethatcloud.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=16We have a great deal of experience with Bitcoin mining hardware since 2009
Prove it. Sign an address that was generated in 2009. Or at least post from a bitcointalk account that was registered in 2009.
|
|
|
Well I know you wont understand but the world is not centered around "United States law" as much as you would like to think so.
Speaking of foreign countries, why don't you tell us which country you and your "private investor" are from so that we can sue you when you default on your contracts?

This is not true. Absolutely nothing is stopping you from posting in meta, scam accusations, or the individual users trust ratings in order to alert others to their abuse. It is not appropriate that a legitimate and useful tool be removed just because some people who would probably get robbed any way MIGHT be fooled because if it. Ultimately it is up to the individual to use their best judgement. If the individual is unwilling to take the time to review the person(s) they are entrusting with their funds, it is ONLY A MATTER OF TIME before they are robbed. No amount of rules, scambusting, or precautions will ever change this.
I'm not asking that the tool be removed, just that newbies be restricted from using it. They should earn the power to delete posts. I see no benefit from 0-day old accounts having the power to moderate threads.

I am so hoping to see you having to make an apology I've been here well over 4 years. MineThatCloud has been here 4 days. Who do you think is going to be here in 1 year? I honestly hope I'm wrong. It would be nice to be wrong once. But the math is pretty clear cut. The days of being able to host large-scale miners at $.30/kwh are long gone. I even offered MineThatCloud 100 btc. They just deleted the post. I am not against you but your attitude and methods have left alot to desire. So much in this world going on and your making enemies with people on the internet that you don't know... Fun I was perfectly reasonable until MineThatCloud refused to answer basic questions and kept deleting every question I posted. They brought this on themselves.
|
|
|
ok this clears all up.
I adjusted our prices slightly. but this is the minimum we can go for 1 THs: ~0,43$ per GHs.
USD or Euros? The announcement lists Euros. So for 1 TH/s: Contract cost ($.43 * 1000) = $430 Estimated cost of miner = $200 That leaves $230 for hosting, or roughly $.05/kwh. That's pretty cheap hosting. Am I close?
|
|
|
I don't know how they do it. As we are as transparent as we can, we can only sell you what we get as prices and not any fantasy numbers.
They aren't mining. They're just running a ponzi scam.
|
|
|
Your prices are quite expensive compared to some other cloud mining providers, Any chance of lowering? See MineThatCloud for example currently at 0.15€/GHs compared to your 0.48€/GHs.[/b]
Please don't bring that scam MineThatCloud into these discussions.

Quoted for posterity. we will like to return to this thread in a year and then you can appologise.
and actually its people like you that ruin this community by slandering legit services, people like you are why people are afraid to use bitcoin.
You profile claims you are a legendary member, more like a legendary idiot.
Ouch, you hurt my feelings when you call me names. Now I'm crying. My mommy doesn't like it when I cry. Put up or shut up. You have shown no legitimate operations. Look at your trust ratings. Many senior forum members speaking out about your operation. Only 1 newbie account to defend you. You are doing everything wrong. You hide behind a brand new account. You won't show proof you are mining. You hide behind a self-moderated thread and delete lots of posts. Legitimate operations don't do these things. I will continue doing everything I can do damage you and your scam. Congrats on making an enemy.

Will you publish the bitcoin address you are mining to?
|
|

The voltage can be adjusted with blackarrow's software. Just tried that on my X3 miners and it works like a charm.
Never seen that setting. Got a screenshot?

(Ok I will have to do a suicidal face palm if I am wrong and they end up being a scam and will apologise to each person individually that I doubted, but yeah i'm gonna trust them for now, more fool me you might say)
Quoted for posterity. I am 100% sure you will not receive full payouts for 1 year. I've shown that by using the absolute best numbers possible, they're paying out $1000 for every $500 they bring in. It's not possible for them to stay in business. They will fold before you finish your contract. You bought mining hashpower. You have never received a mined bitcoin from them. You received some of your own bitcoins back. You invested in a ponzi. Those of us who've been in bitcoin for years have seen this happen time and time again. You will learn the hard way. For your sake I just hope your lesson wasn't too expensive. Unfortunately by feeding these scams you are enabling further scams. And that's bad for the bitcoin community. I hope you apologize profusely when you lose.

How do you know your shining light on a scam.. Thats all i want to know i want definitive proof.
Read my cost analysis. Roughly it is this, for every $500 they bring in, they pay out $1000. Now you tell me how that is possible. I'm a firm believer in innocent until proven guilty, where your philosophy seems to be Guilty because i say so..
My philosophy is when someone asks me for money, I demand some proof. Proof that is easy to provide by legitimate people. Why do they refuse?
