not for miners. the price is not good for them
Not good now, but soon. I think we're going to see some good growth in the price this year.

I like spreading my BTC investments around in relatively small amounts.
So you just jump early into every ponzi that shows up and cross your fingers that you win more than you lose. Glad that's working well for you.

Glad to hear that! Thank You! If You have any questions don't hesitate to ask I have a guess which pool you are mining on. Would you state which pool you are using?

There are several open source e-commerce sites that have bitcoin-related plugins available.

but i advise others not to trust your rating cause u get scammed like me...
You misunderstand the point of this thread. This is not a general risk assessment thread. It is simply 7 red flags. If you see these red flags, then the operation is likely a scam. If you don't see these red flags, it tells you nothing about whether they are a scam or not. This is the part you seem to misunderstand, so I'll repeat it. Make sure you understand it. If you don't see these red flags, it tells you nothing about whether they are a scam or not.

How can you prove that "my coin is freshly dug"?
Look at this block: https://blockchain.info/block-index/814643Under Transactions you see: No Inputs (Newly Generated Coins) ->
That's how you know those coins were first mined.

No, I am not. I withdraw the settlement in bitcoin. I need a payment processor for security and convenience purposes.
Ah, well then if Bitpay won't do it for you, there are lots of other solutions.

we are mining in a pool and this is the address where we get BTC from the pool and pay people out from 13VeGaUy7etLcwJe3mbYxkEEDJfZYsu2Ca as mentioned above u can track the payouts here: Payout Tracking Thread Good, I'll keep an eye on this.

This is not what bitcoin is about. Bitcoin is supposed to enable people, not limit them even more than traditional payment systems. I have used Paypal for a long time and even though my volume there is higher than Bitpay's was, they never demanded such documentation. It's frankly complete bullshit.
True, but aren't you using Bitpay to convert to local fiat? Feel free to accept bitcoins directly for any amount for any purpose you want. You can do that with bitcoin. But I can see how Bitpay doesn't understand the local laws in all countries. Keep trying to show them that you're operating legally in your jurisdiction. I hope they reconsider.

As far as transparency goes, everyone is welcome to schedule a visit to check the farm out.
If you want a quick and easy way to show transparency, simply publish the bitcoin address you are mining to and sign it to prove it is yours.

He really doesn't understand tech. He is trying to stay away from things he doesn't understand.
He obviously fears bitcoin, quite likely because he knows he can't understand it.

This hurts all of us , story after story about people getting burned by irresponsible or fraudulent businesses or individuals.
It's getting better. Really the only 2 companies left selling miners are Bitmain and Spondoolies. Both very good companies. 2015 should be a good year.

How?
Post a wallet address and sign it to prove that you are in control of the address. Still waiting on that address.

My email has been swamped... as well as tickets. Good chance it got lost. I will be offering as much of a refund policy as possible, If the order has not been sent off to BA yet, I offer 100% refunds. As far as late shipments, that is something that I will have to think about as we get closer to release date.
Well when would the order be sent off to BA after you receive the payment? And I'd really like a good answer on the late shipment thing to help solidify my purchase. How's Matt doing with those refunds? Nice find, but look carefully. "If" the order has not been sent. All the orders were sent to BA, so Matt gladly refuses all refunds. Take money from customers, receiver miners from BA, keep miners from BA, don't pay BA, don't refund customers. Money and miners for free for him. Perfect scam.

it needs to have a popular use case that can't be done with the fiat banking and financial system.
My favorite use case is international sales. There is no existing fast, cheap, secure method of selling goods to international customers.

Hello! This is my first post and I want to trade! Long story cut short is I need a new gaming laptop to replace my old crappy Dell Latitude laptop died.
Amazon are selling the gaming laptop that I want for $3700. Yes I know that's expensive but I want this laptop to last me 3 + years.
I am willing to trade 9.50 bitcoins at the current market rate in exchange for a buyin me the $3700 laptop from Amazon.
Set your sights on a reasonable laptop and use gyft.com. Consider a Razer Blade: http://amzn.com/B00TB8X8GA.

Most purchase programs are ponzi and scam.
So where's your proof that you are actually mining?

gyft.com is awesome. I use them all the time to buy Amazon gift cards. You get a code in email that you just enter into the Amazon shopping cart. So quick and easy.
