This would be a great project to put on Kickstarter or similar (there was a bitcoinstarter.com but it's down at the moment) and get crowdfunding to get it done properly and all the contributors get a copy of the boardgame

I don't really see how it can go down - Bitcoin seems to have evolved and many of the problems such as hackers taking off with very large chunks of BTC from exchanges and crashing prices seem to be a thing of the past ...
