1801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASROCK H81 PRO BTC on: March 27, 2017, 04:30:23 PM
Can someone deliver the ASROCK to Bulgaria fast???

i can but it cost you 24 euro plus 100 for the motherboard
1802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Starting a ZEC mining farm: Maximum ROI strategy. on: March 27, 2017, 12:29:19 PM
your strategy is only possible because of zero electricity, otherwise you would earn much less per month, because the consumption for all those old amd are very high and kill half if not more, of the profit

currently you can make $2k per month(this require accurate selection of the coin you mine, private trading, some times holding etc...) with 2 rig of 1070, so i have your same ROI but i also pay electricity....

it's definitely the wallet, it can't sync and cause a crash

1804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Launched: PiCoin [POS+POW] [SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN=AIRDROP] on: March 27, 2017, 11:28:35 AM

there is a thing called fixed supply for all coins, diff/reward, it doesn't matter how many mine the coin, the numbers producced are the same, just everyone get less
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] COINONAT-BLOCKCHAIN EQUALITY-ASIC-RESISTANT-POW-GPU/CPU LOW TEMPERATURE on: March 27, 2017, 08:52:09 AM
I'm getting microsoft runtime error  Angry
win 10 64bit

Any solution for that?

Thanks

That's Visual C++ runtime problem that has nothing to do with the wallet. Try solve it by download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package for 64 Bits from Microsoft. After installing this, when you open the windows wallet for the first time you may encounter some error, close the wallet and open it again it will work fine. Hope that helps.

i have all the package installed but i still get that issue

yes but you can't mine with many gpu only one or it hung there, too slow
1808  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will BTC vs. BU be decided? on: March 27, 2017, 07:08:54 AM
no one know it's based on consensus, there are the chance that it will never be decided and remain in this state forever, if both part can't make their mind

or maybe it can happen in few week, it's not somethign that you can predict, even antpool who was the first supporting BU is not pointing all the miners there

for now if you are concerned about your investment just hold your coins, bitcoin won't lose its value much mor, i see the market is pretty stable now
1809  Economy / Economics / Re: Question that has been a million times here on: March 27, 2017, 07:05:36 AM
there really is no easy way to make money without getting lucky.

and if there was one, no one would tell you.

there is actually one, is called mining, it has the lowest risk among all investment, and reward is always there, not talkign about bitcoin minign here but gpu mining

at worst you can always sell your gpu which hold their value for a very long time unlike asic, and in altsection there is always somethign profitable to mine even with high electricity
1810  Economy / Economics / Re: resistance and support level on: March 27, 2017, 07:03:14 AM
as i see it most of the time resistance is based on a mental barrier, like $1000 at present, for example, next can be $2k or 1500, i would work out on those clean number

some times the market can have a resistance in that point but for a different currency, example not usd but euro, where you see that they are trying to break $10xx, because in reality they are trying to maintain the 1000 euro wall
1811  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Am I the only miner who feels disgusted by the talk of PoW change? on: March 27, 2017, 06:58:52 AM
in the past i remember they said that they were prone to increase the size of the block to 2mb, apparently they changed their mind later...
It's okay to change your mind once you investigate the change and see that it is actually a bad idea to implement it. Too many people are obsessed with a plain block size increase as being some kind of simple change that carries with it no dangers, which we know now is actually completely wrong.

My understanding after 6 months involved in the space is that bigger blocks lend towards greater centralization due to increased costs of running nodes etc (storage, bandwidth).

For this fact alone I would never support a block size increase if there were other viable options available.

the problem is that LN alternative are also centralized with their HUB, at least from what i understood, it seems that you can't preserve the current decentralization if you want to fix the block limit/scaling issue

if they can come up with something better would be good but there is no time anymore, now the choice is based on what is less worse, not on what is ideal
1812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Noob Q: Can bitcoin be turned into POS? on: March 27, 2017, 06:49:30 AM
Bitcoin can definitely be turned into a Piece Of Shit (POS) all you need to do is hard fork to Bitcoin Unlimited and give control of bitcoin to Jihan Wu and Roger Ver permanently.

fortunately we have the consensus, and without that it would only be another altcoin, that pretend to be bitcoin with crap parameters and all sort of copy paste that you can find already in the alt section

pos is definitely bad, but the decred pos iss another thing, if Bitcoin really need to go pos in the future, i would choose the decred pos with a system based on buying ticket to earn reward
1813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit support going up = hemorrage stopped on: March 27, 2017, 06:47:35 AM
Segwit seems to have edged past Unlimited now (last 144 blocks mined).
https://coin.dance/blocks
Segwit supported by 37.5% of blocks, Unlimited supported by 36.8% of blocks.
Overall, a pretty much split society.  Undecided

the bad news is that a split is worst than a dominance, and it's for a reason why the BU chain was achieving to attack the other chain in case they win to avoid a future split

i see that segwit gained 3 points %, was at 26% before, and bu lost 1%, might explain the little price jump
1814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As real as it gets on: March 27, 2017, 06:43:28 AM
i just spent 330$ in bitcoin, 4,746 bytes it cost me 3.80$ in fees and was confirmed in 36 minutes. (2 blocks)

as far as a general purchase the fee was high and i could have used paypal or debit.. and saved money.

bitcoin will never be a real currency as long as we have to pay this much to use it..

actually you are increasing the average fee by paying more, if more and more people agree to pay less, the average will be lower over tiem, so it's u to you not the miners, miners are not forcing users to pay more fee

just pay less, and wait more for now, and use the accelerator, and even without it with half of the fee neded it should confirm in few hours
1815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin won’t hardfork like Ethereum on: March 27, 2017, 06:13:51 AM
in the end what really decide the fate of bitcoin, is not either the dev the miners or exchange, but the investors, if investors keep dumpiing in fear of what will happen

it can possibility scare the miners and force them to do the less disastrous choise, and attaccking the minority chain is one of those things
1816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: March 27, 2017, 06:11:23 AM
can you fix the 6 thread gpu, because this miner can't run more than 1 gpu without crashing

Works here. I have 8GB ram in the rig.

Release #4 will have more speed and less cpu usage.

waiting for it, i can't use the miner as it is right now

libeay32.dll, the problem is that adding it from the web doesn't work, it say the application was unable to start etc...

You can try to install OPENSSL.
Or try to put this libeay32.dll to c:\windows\system32
