1821  Other / Meta / Re: Someone gave me a negative trust! WTF! on: August 12, 2015, 07:41:43 AM
op, i just like you when i was a newbie, and then, i am almost screwed.
giving this kind of negative trust makes no sense to figure out if he is a scammer, unless he/she is exposed to be an scamming alt, otherwise this kind of act is just harming newbies.
lending is not a place of pawnbroking, but under the "rule", it is just a pawnbroker to protect lenders, not loaners.
 Cry

It is to prevent being scammed. 99% of newbies asking loan here are scammers and waiting till they scam to leave negative a negative trust feedback is senseless!
why don't they take them off after we have concluded that they are not an alt or a scammer?
i am the one.  Cry
1822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you didn't get paid for your signature, would you still care about Bitcoin? on: August 12, 2015, 07:12:18 AM
people won't believe us that we are legit, and people created campaign, but monopolising the others.
my signature is for others because i understand people could not promote his stuff easily by himself, rather than joining a sign campaign.
1823  Other / Off-topic / Re: Windows 10: do not upgrade on: August 12, 2015, 07:04:01 AM
unless microsoft announced that the official version of the windows 10, otherwise i would not really wish for windows 10.
Not sure what you're trying to say here.
i mean the windows 10 is still in beta, we don't know what bugs would occur, and we still don't know if the windows 10 is safe(secure) for universal usage. i don't wanna get my personal data shared due to the unexpected bugs.
1824  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Block size increase on: August 12, 2015, 07:00:39 AM
block size increasing would encourage transaction spammers to spread all of the zero value txs into the blockchain.
also, this would not get the bitcoin to be sustainable.
the demand of storage would be skyrocket in order to sustain bitcoin. merchants would get to raise the price of the HDD like what ASIC just did.
not all of the people could afford the HDD and the blockchain size increase.
1825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you didn't get paid for your signature, would you still care about Bitcoin? on: August 12, 2015, 06:50:05 AM
this is just a matter, not affecting us to use bitcoin.
unless they are cheating of sign campaign, otherwise it is no use.
if you did not get paid of your sign campaign, and you qualified all of the rules, there would be no reason not to pay to what you just did.
1826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forum moderation policy on: August 12, 2015, 05:45:50 AM
hi dud, i am gonna have some of the suggestion for this kind of sub forum:
increase leniency of profanities, because majority of the profanity do not involve violence, unless they are explicitly harming/harassing someone; otherwise we don't need to do this, this will only encourage arbitrary, instead of actual freedom.
put off-topic threads into the suitable forums, instead of just deleting, so that the people will understand.
regulate zero value threads harsher in this "bitcoin discussion" session in order to prevent encouragement of spamming, however, if those zero value threads' contents in which a certain forum would be the most suitable for them, take those thread into those suitable forums, instead of banning and/or deleting.

bitcoin forum is a place of freedom, not a place for arbitrary to execute their stuff which is zero-value or harmful to the "commoners".
1827  Economy / Lending / Re: .1 loan request for .125 back by 8/13 on: August 12, 2015, 04:53:11 AM

op is creating zero value posts, just leave him alone.
this guy is spamming for loan while without a legitimate reason, plus this is an alt.
scamming isn't helpful to yourself: you would understand that what you gained is useless, man.
1828  Other / Off-topic / Re: Windows 10: do not upgrade on: August 12, 2015, 04:48:39 AM
i will agree, i will remain using windows 7 until it vanishes, but my reason is not exactly the same.
windows 10 is limited free, but cannot be sure if the corporation is hiding something important with the windows 10.
i cannot see anything really good with windows 10, windows 8 is better than windows 10 for me.
unless microsoft announced that the official version of the windows 10, otherwise i would not really wish for windows 10.
i don't wanna get trapped by something random.
guys in my opinion you'd better remain using either windows vista, 7 or 8.
1829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto Comes Back To Clear Blocksize Debate... on: August 12, 2015, 01:45:43 AM
i don't really know if this guy is gonna come back for the blocksize debate.
duh, it wastes the time. if he was actually getting here, he would announce, however, satoshi is banned, i doubt that if he is getting to clear.
1830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I ran Bitcoin Core for >3 years, and I turned it off today on: August 12, 2015, 12:52:02 AM
I just turned off my core node yesterday and hooked in a 3TB disk and turned it back on Grin Should be enough for another couple of years

And I did not touch the software (still at 0.10.0). Even banks only upgrade their core software every 5 years, a global financial system like bitcoin should upgrade only every 10 years

Stability is all it counts in finance. Don't fix it if it ain't broken, and even when a fix is needed, should be as small as possible to not disturb the whole financial system

if your HDD did not break, it would help you to sustain with bitcoin Qt for at least 27 years.
wow that's weird. however, if with bitcoin XT, your HDD would be full within 8 years as estimated due to the block limit doubles.
i don't wanna see 20 million transactions per block in which more than 90% of the transactions were with little output(especially if they did not put any fees), in the future with XT.
1831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If The Bankers Wanted To Destroy Bitcoin They Only Have To Do This One Thing... on: August 12, 2015, 12:04:38 AM
Unless bankers become miners, and get over 51% of all mining activity, there is absolutely zero chance that this will ever happen. Worse than that, if bankers effectively become miners, they will make money, which will make them think like the other miners...
that is correct, why? because the only ability (as far as i know) to change this supply and control them is to do the 51% attacks, without this kind of control, it will be when pigs fly to control the bitcoin network. i am dead with banks, i am gonna put more money onto bitcoin.
1832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: The End of Money as We Know It documentary is out! on: August 11, 2015, 11:51:09 PM
$6 is fair, if you had choice to choose the physical books, that would be at least $10.
2 years of research, worth it i have a such book under my computing table, it charged me $10.
1833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I ran Bitcoin Core for >3 years, and I turned it off today on: August 11, 2015, 11:44:48 PM
I switched all my nodes to Bitcoin XT too.

Fuck censorship.

yeah, plus one.
censor others = with the people under the censorship.
but bitcoin XT is really horrible that will encourage fork transaction spam.
1834  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is the max no. of posts you make in 1 day on: August 11, 2015, 03:31:25 PM
normally i will do 5 to 10, but if i am active on something, i will  be at least 30 posts a day.
really, but i am choosing random stuff to do.
1835  Other / Meta / Re: Someone gave me a negative trust! WTF! on: August 11, 2015, 02:40:41 PM

1836  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CloudThink.IO NEW 8TH/s Imperator Bitcoin Miner - Apply for a FREE test unit on: August 11, 2015, 01:11:14 PM
IIRC this is a collapsed ponzi, and probably the same result with what cloudminr just done.
this guy is gonna AWOL, so the self-moderated is gonna be bullshit.
1837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you use Bitcoin and access Bitcointalk freely without using a VPN? on: August 11, 2015, 12:58:12 PM
The Chinese government block thousands of websites in order to prevent what appears to be a politically sensitive information that can not reach Internet users
china used a wrong way to protect their so-called country; luckily, i live in hong kong - nothing banned from this site! Cheesy
china is just absolute garbage, rebel them is right.
1838  Other / Off-topic / Re: Saw this new Blockchain Forum!! on: August 11, 2015, 12:49:08 PM
i smell zero value thread.
please do not promote zero value stuff, it is no use man.
if it is really good to us, please lemme know what's good with that.
1839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / some speculations for alt coins. on: August 11, 2015, 12:45:41 PM
bored, let's talk about some of the future prices of some of the alt coins instead.
 look at the www.coinmarketcap.com

first i wanna talk about a cryptonote-based alt coin: bytecoin (BCN), in the early 2015 it was not too great and the market cap was just around a million; IIRC since someone kicked the BCN up, the price has backed to the climax as of today and even the top 10 (we were dreaming BCN "to the moon" once, lol). idk why BCN went up rapidly? is that the end? or is that gonna beat his enemy, dogecoin?

next, for my favourite: ReddCoin (RDD), the first social currency. look, the first ever PoSV! few of them joined that movement, market capitalisation was a million, today, it just a bullshit as you wanna say, duh. why a social currency could not be raised up? wtf just happened? IIRC this coin would be at least 0.1 bit due to what china just did. let's see what will that be.

(that's all for mine, you? btw i am putting more "speculation" on this by editing this thread.)
1840  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you a virgin? on: August 11, 2015, 12:18:54 PM
