1841  Economy / Goods / Re: Payment Plan for BATTLEFIELD3 PreOrder on: October 02, 2011, 03:41:06 AM
5$ a day, wait 12 days = 60$... vs paying like 70$ for the game over 14 days?

this is either the dumbest loan request i've ever seen, or a complete scam.

Well, in defense of OP, he said he was horrible at saving. Smiley

But my guess is they simply have no means of PRE-ordering, there is extras for pre-ordering. Maybe OP is interested in that ?

I've been playing the beta..

I still have a mixed opinion of it..

BF BCompany was amazing, Im finding some of the playability of BF3 isnt there.. Sad

On the beta I've only played Metro... I hope the game feels different when the vehicles are accessible, but right now it just seems off.  Could just be the new engine i'm not used too.

It's not bad... but i'm less excited now than I was previously.

I feel the same.. it is "off"

There is no "feel" to the game now..

Hard to sense where your being shot from, seeing people is near impossible, and the aiming is something weird.. still can figure out if the bullets drop any..  But ya.. less excisted here too...

Yes, a complete waste, as Bitcoin has been around BEFORE his claim..

Bitcoin is its own...
1845  Economy / Lending / Re: "Reputation" Loans on: October 01, 2011, 12:04:58 AM
I would not bother to trust anyone who has taken out a "reputation" loan and paid it back.  Taking a loan for the point of getting the money and paying it back just a few days later to provide you are trustworthy doesn't prove a thing.  If anything it allows for scammers to get some reputation pretty easily.

You have a point, but "we" have their details..  Cheesy

1846  Economy / Securities / Re: [ANN] LIF.A and LIF.B, market funds on GLBSE, and LIF.M, shared mining contr on: October 01, 2011, 12:00:26 AM
Made some dividend payments today. Amounts per share:

LIF:    0.01344509
LIF.A: 0.01007157
LIF.B: 0.01937342
LIF.M: 0.00034215

The LIF.M payment was about one day of mining, I plan to do a weekly payout for LIF.M, should be about 7 times that large.

I am considering doing a dividend twice a month, any thoughts?

Ohhh I noticed you did...  Im micro-richer now!

Why was there only one day of mining on the LIF.M ?

Im crying at all the defaulters. I really dont want to see the IBB go under

We're just getting started guys, those are defaults from August. No silly defaulters are going to stop us!

Since we have made changes to our basic requirements to get a loan, we are seeing quite an improvement in successful loans.

Hey there Im a reputable member, interested in selling one rigs worth of video cards I have to a fellow canadian.

These two in concert will do 500 mega hashs, thats .5 gigahashs with ease..  thats 2.5 hashs per dollar..

Would really like to sell as a package, both cards for $200 CAD by EMT, or 38~ BTC at 5.25 USD per coin.
This includes shipping within canada and a tracking number.

Willing to take interac EMT if your willing to wait for me to get the interac email.

Or BTC (38 BTC) after I get a confirm.

Willing to part them at 135$ for the 5830 shipped

or 90 $ for the 5770 shipped.

Soo.. I would advise someone to buy both...

PS Sorry for selling to Canada only as Im not interested in the extra BS with paypal and shipping duties internationally.

Oh hell, how am I ever going to get any reputation in the community? Tongue

Well error, sometimes you got to start small...

Im kidding, but please feel free to take a loan!

Im sure we can make an exception in your case since you have very few posts..  Wink
1859  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Win an Islamic Bitcoin Treasure Chest (IBTC) from IBB ! on: September 22, 2011, 01:07:43 PM
Im kinda of intrigued by this concept. But also curious; what do you demand from loaner takers? I mean, if I apply for a loan, make up a fancy story of a business Id like to start, and I run off with the bitcoins, do you have any recourse?

Well first off, thats no way to start to get a loan Smiley

Im just teasing, these are small loans, generally  1-5 coins.

We usually get enough info that provides a reasonable assurance we can trust invidividuals.

And also our ways of persuing defaulters is quite simple. We have one way thats very effective.  If we spill it out here, it will lose the effectiveness.

At first when we started, we had a few defaulters, now since we have learned the hard way, we are getting pretty good at judging characters, and getting as little or as much info from them to satisfy our trust in them.

And to the other person, not requiring a loan..

You most certainly can take a small loan and return it. Then, maybe establishing some rep in the community in the process. Smiley

Im all ears for questions, keep them comming
