That’s all well and good dude but I think you missed the point of my post.
Probably my bad for not making myself clearer.
I was actually attempting to point out that by using the term “he” in the reply , one is assuming the post was made by a male,
when there is no information to make that assumption. Or at least that’s how I read it.
So I use a gender neutral pronoun to account for that.
And as sways link pointed out “they” is ok for that purpose. Apparently there is disagreement on this…whatever man.
Nothing to get one's panties in a twirl about.
Of course you can use “he or she” too, which works fine. that’s all up to the writer I guess.
I simply prefer using “they” but that’s just my writing style preference. ymmv
It has absolutely nothing to do with gender pronoun political correctness  (which, as I clearly stated in my post, think is nonsense.)
and everything to do with not wanting to possibly incorrectly refer to a she as a he...nothing more, nothing less.
And yes I should have appended my post to clarify that if indeed the poster is female, it doesn’t make a shit bit of difference.

Whenever I refer to a random poster on this forum I use the the pronoun "they" rather than he or she.
(And yes "they" is grammatically correct for referring to the singular, or so I've heard.)
And not because of all this politically correct gender pronoun nonsense, but simply because  I dont automatically assume
the gender as being a "he" (albeit on this forum, that's usually the case).
I only mention this because in all this swaystar hullabaloo, (apparently triggered by a post of mine)

Well that escalated rather quickly.

On a lighter note,  I've noticed in the last week or so my daily Grin mining proceeds  have increased like 30%.(In Grin coins that is, not actual bitcoin value,which is up too, just not as much)
I haven't changed anything in the year and half I've been mining this coin,  besides upgrading software for hard forks.
So I'm assuming difficulty must be dropping? (as well as price, but that's a given for any shitcoin altcoin)
This has made my visits to the exchange (where my mined coins are automatically sent) to convert to bitcoin become slightly more frequent. I'm not complaining mind you....
As far as I'm concerned, this coin works great for indirectly mining bitcoin with gpu cards.
