1841  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake.com - Account suspended and withdrawal blocked on: December 08, 2022, 11:37:10 PM
Dear all,
I'm sorry if I went awol but I was kinda depressed after Casinoguru's verdict.
I'd like to thank holydarkness for reporting the information and contacting stunna. I tried to reach him twice more than a month ago but I didn't hear back.

As holydarkness correctly stated, Casinoguru's verdict is indeed inconclusive.
But I think it's leaning on my side of things for two reasons:
1) the accusation of fake KYC was completely rejected and my documents were proven legitimate. I think this is not something that the community should dismiss easily. A casino going against a player and accusing him of providing false documents it's bad... They could have accused me out of sloppy checks or out of malice but, in either case, it's bad and speaks loudly about their trustworthiness.
2) casinoguru stated that the evidence provided by Stake "show that your account may be linked to multiple others". Emphasis on may. Meaning that their evidence is not conclusive, that they couldn't prove it beyond doubt.
They are also saying "we currently do not have enough insight into sports betting to be able to advise you correctly or make a well-informed decision about the usage of your account/sports platforms" which looks like a way to avoid telling if they have the right or not to seize your funds at the end.  Undecided
Do you think they have only seized winnings or do you think they have also seized funds you have deposited ?
If one part comes from deposits at least it would be interesting to know what they will do with it now, because even if they've determined (wrongly or not) that you have one other account, it doesn't mean that these funds (legally and morally) belong to them.

Quote
When we assess multiple accounts cases, we look at how they may have been used to gain an unfair advantage over the casino. As you have only placed bets on sports, we currently do not have enough insight into sports betting to be able to advise you correctly or make a well-informed decision about the usage of your account/sports platforms.
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proof Of Income Will This Pass on: December 08, 2022, 10:37:24 PM
Basically salary confirmation letter with stamp should be enough to prove that you have enough credibility to make deposits. It is not business of casino to check every detail and ask for additional documentation for source of funds. Exception may be depositing over $50k in rare cases, IMO.
Have you read this thread and this one about that matter? They don't care if it's their business or not, if they want to lock your funds, they will require it and ask endless additional documentation. And you don't need to deposit $50k to get this kind of requirement, they can ask it after winning few hundreds of dollars, casinos are not all fair and honest unfortunately.

I hope you can recover fast.

Im waiting for my new freebet, because yesterday i lose one bet so im waiting to that 25% rackeback freebet WC. Now im in talk with the support team because dont show up.

The bet of today? Already blow up by the first match of today Tongue

Im not having really good luck in this WC until now.

Have you been able to get your free bet from the promotion finally?
At the bottom of the promotion page it's written that we need to "place a Live bet". Could you(or someone else) confirm the promotion is also working for pre-match bets? Because it's not anymore possible to place a multibet with 2 live matches from the world cup at the same time.

Quote
To participate in the action, you should place a Live bet on the FIFA World Cup 2022 – with min 10$ and min 1.75 odd Multi and System bets

Bon ba j'ai tenter Relai.

Impossible de faire un virement ou de payer via CB via une grande banque FR.

Leur compte CH est sous surveillance...

Dommage il va falloir trouver autre chose.
T'as Mt Pelerin sinon.

hat address was swept in 2011, somewhat after signmessage was created.

anyone know the house edge of the stake Blackjack? the unlimited decks is so weird, seems silly to me to not just make it 4 or 8 decks
What do you mean by "the stake Blackjack" precisely? You are talking about the provably fair blackjack game belonging to the Stake Originals games or the Stake exclusive live tables at Evolution?
The Stake home game has a 0.57% house edge according to them and the decks are unlimited (they are virtual), it means the same card can be theoretically drawn endless times in a row. Stake exclusive tables at Evolution take a 0.71% house edge but the decks are real and not unlimited (Cool, you can't double on a split unlike the Stake Original game though.
I never truly understood the same card in a deck logic in online games. I get that you want to prevent counting cards, and that's understandable, but at the very least you could just make sure that each hand is one deck, and then next hand is another deck, that way you would not be removing any cards for the future but you would also not get the same card on the same hand.

It would be very weird to get ace of spade twice, and then dealer has it too, and maybe the guy next to you has it too etc, that's weird, you double down and you get another one, like there is 5-6 on the table and it's all the same. Does that really fell alright? Just have one deck for one hand, another for another hand and that way nobody can count cards.
Well with 8 decks the same card can be theoretically drawn 8 times in a row. I have never seen that till now, but it should happen from time to time. They certainly use an unlimited amount of deck to avoid card counting as you say but maybe also because it's more easy to code : for each card drawn you just need to randomly pick a value between 1 and 52. (Blackjack is played with 52 cards decks)

This software along with the ones quoted by JeromeTash are very interesting and useful if you need to take and share screenshots frequently, thank you for sharing them. But if you don't want to install a software, I think imgbb.com is very convenient, because you don't need to save your screenshot as a file before uploading it there. You can just grab it with the Print screen key and simply paste it onto the uploading page there thanks to a basic Ctrl+V command.
1855  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How/Who first found burning address? on: December 04, 2022, 12:04:29 PM
There is no script preventing these outputs from being spent since they are normal P2PKH scripts. What prevents them from being spent is that because of the way these addresses are created. The user creates the hash which can not be reversed to get the public key which also can not be reversed to get the private key that is needed to spend the coins.
But don't forget there's rare case such as address 1111111111111111111114oLvT2 which has unreachable spending condition due to RIPEMD-160.

If you send any coins to the public key used in Genesis blocks, the coins may never move but they are not lost because Satoshi created that key and may have the private key still stored somewhere so that he can spend those coins in the future if he chooses to.
The genesis block coins can never be spent:

coingeek[dot]com/the-mystery-of-the-genesis-block
Personally i would not use this website as reference or information source since it contains BSV propaganda.
This address "has unreachable spending condition due to RIPEMD-160" ? Could you elaborate please because I read this topic about this address and I didn't find a post telling that.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5418492
_Counselor said "no one knows its key, and it may well be that such a key does not exist at all" but he's not affirmative.

This address - 1111111111111111111114oLvT2, created from RIPE160 hash with all zero bits "0000000000000000000000000000000000000000"
Because there is no known attacks on ripe160, it is nearly impossible that someone found such input, that will produce that hash, even if you do not take into account double hashing when generating an address.
To get this address, you have to find a such EC point, that will produce such SHA256 hash, which in turn will produce 160 zero-bits RIPEMD.
So, 1111111111111111111114oLvT2 is valid BTC address, but no one knows its key, and it may well be that such a key does not exist at all.

They attending to the disccusion on casinoguru and currently they submitted a new evidence, dated two days ago, so... Around 2nd of Dec? The casinoguru's representative is currently investigating the new evidences. Maybe they choose to discuss them there and only return here once everything is cleared --regardless if the outcome is they're wrongfully accuse OP or the other way round-- so, all we can do here is wait and followed the updates through casinoguru.
Unfortunately this is not the first case they leave without answer, if you look at topics here and in the gambling section you will find several other cases that had been left without answer since several months while no complaints seemed to have been opened on review platforms. Here, if they only want to comment the case on Casino Guru they could just tell it, I think.
You're right they seem to have submitted a new evidence there, but because the first one hasn't been conclusive obviously. For the hold-11xrp-deposit case on Askgamblers, their evidences have been rejected 2 times in a row. So I don't think they can avoid to give clear explanations about their decisions and their locking funds policy anymore.

Reading from the first post to the last, this idea kept bugging my mind: how possible is it that the whole mess is because of the referrer code you use? Do you know the referrer in person or were you just being generous and randomly pick a referral code someone put on the internet and let them earn passively? What I'm trying to say --or to find a different perspective-- is if Stake think they're not wrong about you abusing multi-acc, and you insist you only have one account, add that to this statement:

They traced accounts --as how other platforms understandably also do-- I think it is still in the realm of possibility that someone that also use the referral code of the one you use, or maybe the original referrer themselves, had multiaccount and your account "simply" dragged along the mud because Stake group them all into one massive self-referral.
If it's enough for them to lock customer funds, it's very concerning, they should stop their referral program to avoid risking customers funds.

It's really sad to see that Google in 2022 is still not able to filter such obvious scams, and/or to quickly remove them. I start to wonder if they really care about crypto users safety. The Iancoleman page is one of the more useful and powerful oneline tool in the crypto universe and they are not able to protect it against such gross phishing attack. It's really concerning.
1859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blackjack Discussion Official Discussion and Lounge on: December 03, 2022, 10:35:19 PM
I'm probably biased but I've never quite understood why people want to take Blackjack seriously.

The OP's image says that the perfect strategy cuts the casino edge to 0.5%. But it is still EV-. You have to learn strategy and card counting, which nowadays is often useless. I think it is worth using that time to learn other games where you can make EV+ moves, earning money regardless of the commissions charged by the casino.

I'm referring to poker obviously, and that's why I say I'm probably biased.

For me casino games, like roulette for example, have a component of entertainment, of fun, and you don't have to make an effort. You don't have to spend hours trying hard to learn roulette strategies (which you're not going to do unless you're a moron). In poker, on the other hand, with study time and effort you make a profit.

With blackjack, despite the effort in learning strategy and card counting,  I doubt that the percentage of people who make a profit is even 1% compared to poker.
I disagree with you because Poker is a social game, so you can only hope a positive EV if you play against players weaker than you. And if you play against stronger players the EV can turn to be awful. Blackjack is a casino game, so the EV doesn't change and is known by the player. Then if you are a good blackjack player who is able to play without doing mistakes and to keep the house edge as lowest as possible, you can get a positive EV at the end thanks to the tournaments, bonuses and promotions offered by casinos.
Anyway on which casinos/gambling sites are you playing Poker precisely? Which ones do you recommend?
1860  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake.com - Account suspended and withdrawal blocked on: December 03, 2022, 09:54:17 PM
I have further updates regarding my case.

As I was saying in my previous message, Stake accused me of providing fake KYC and having multiple accounts.

You can read in my complaint on CasinoGuru that they looked at my documents and cannot see anything that suggests that my documents are not legitimate.

https://casino.guru/stake-casino-player-s-account-has-been-blocked
And 2 weeks after you've opened your thread nobody from Stake has bothered to reply anything. Why do they update their thread every day and manage a big advertising campaign here if they don't care about serious "scam accusation" cases from Bitcointalk users ?
I see that they are already flagged as "Questionable reputation" on Casino guru with a 6.4/10 rating, while they are rated the same low score (6.46/10) on Askgamblers. What do they wait for changing their policy toward customers? Losing their partnerships and their licenses?
