Exchanging it to USDT (stablecoins) would be you best bet if you are looking for the least volatile crypto in the market. However, even though that it is stable in nature, there is still a risk that your money will be frozen which might put your funds to be unusable.
See [UPDATED] PSA: Most Stablecoins Can Be Frozen, Even in Your Own Wallets. Personally, though, I only have USDT when I am actively trading on an exchange.

If, on the other hand, you're looking for a coin with a lot of potential, bitcoin or ethereum are your best bet. I will do the same if I am able to profit from these memecoins you are mentioning.

I doubt anyone on this forum will be able to assist you in recovering your wallet, especially if you do not have your seed phrases. As far as I know, if you have kept most of the english words that have been given to you, I think there is still a chance on recovering it.

Or perhaps, maybe there is still a chance if you have the keystore/ json file
1864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anything make you stop gambling on: August 14, 2021, 03:52:27 AM
That's when I lost my first two high-paying traditional commissioned portrait drawings, from what I recall. Imagine converting your fiat into cryptocurrency worth $200 and simply throwing it into an online gambling casino because you want to try it out without any prior knowledge of bankroll management or how the game works.

And I guess that $200 has something to do with why I am so careful when playing at the casino — I still gamble, but only when I have some spare money to lose or am testing some technical stuff that is going on at the casino.

Yes.

I can't help but rant after seeing Elijah's insensitive tweet about people becoming enraged because they are receiving less "free money." Seriously? What about those who spent their hard-earned money on axies that aren't well-equipped for PVP battles? These cult movements are literally destroying them.

I lost all respect for Elijah after seeing this shitpost. I still enjoy the game, got my 100% capital, and have been able to establish a scholarship program with a mediocore axies and ; it's just that a lot of people spend their time and money, and yet these people will say GTFO because they are receiving "less free money."

Nagbayad ulit si @bitcoin31 nung August 8. This means yung total pending loan niya ay PHP 5,500. To follow na lang once na magbayad ulit siya. Thank you.
1868  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Secure your private keys on: August 11, 2021, 10:09:05 AM
Tokens and coins, unlike public keys, are used to identify users and allow them to send and receive messages.
What you are referring to is the addresses that has been derived from the public keys using "one-way cryptographic hash" function. This will then create an address that will serve as a "recipient" when someone sends you some bitcoin.

Quote
Save your private keys in a reliable source like mails, to avoid lost of gadgets because mail can be accessed in different devices.
This is extremely a bad advice, especially as most newbies here make the same mistake of storing their seed phrases online. It must be stored offline, not online, such as in e-mails or cloud storage. A pen and paper should be your best bet when storing seed phrases.

I believe it would be better to seek clarification here first before starting a thread that could spread misinformation.

I think this is what you are looking for.

Prepare your fishing rods or cannons, if you will. There’s plenty of fish in the sea for you to choose from in the casino slot Fishing God! Blast off rewarding fish and sea creatures to take your fishing experience to the next level. Have more chances of landing the jackpot when you play at an RTP of 97%!

Fun fact: This game is so popular in Philippine arcade games that even the elderly seem to enjoy playing it.
1872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tether crash to $0? on: August 10, 2021, 05:45:52 AM
@BuyingBitcoin

It is a stablecoin, which means its value is linked to the equivalent exchange value of US dollars. And if you're concerned about the security of your funds, I believe you should read the following thread:

[UPDATED] PSA: Most Stablecoins Can Be Frozen, Even in Your Own Wallets

Take note that, despite the fact that USDT is stored on blockchain, it is still similar to FIAT, which is centralized and subject to asset freezing.
1873  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am trained in software engineering but don't know bitcoin on: August 10, 2021, 04:18:51 AM
Based on my experience, I believe it is best to learn bitcoin in a hierarchical manner, beginning with beginners and progressing to advanced levels.

If you really want to learn the concept with just a simple explanation aided by illustrations, I think this website learn me a bitcoin is helpful. This way, you can find something that piques your interest.

Jameson Lopp also has tons of learning resource including mining. You just need to allocate some time reading it on a daily basis.

This was asked multiple times but I think Roobet should also consider adding sports betting on their website
Eh? Roobet has added their own sports betting just a few days ago.

People are talking about it repeatedly in this thread though.
1875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 09, 2021, 05:32:48 AM
That will depend on the game because if the games offers you to invest inside the games to earn something, maybe that is not a gambling.
Not until you realize that the game you've invested in is a scam, or that they've committed a rug pull on their investors after milking them because they're a bunch of money-hungry assholes. This is why the notion "Invest with what you can afford to lose"  is still something that need to be considered.

Paying for a game that guarantees a return but requires a lot of time can also be considered as gambling.
1876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT games also another way to gamble your money? on: August 09, 2021, 04:59:16 AM
To answer your question, yes.

NFT gaming has no difference to the games offered by these casinos. You are putting your resources (time and money) at risk in the hopes of winning back your money, with the exception that the ROI is considerably longer than with casino games.

Also, the "gambling" aspect  is the uncertainty of whether they are sustainable enough in the long run or not. In fact, the possibility of losing your money could be the downfall of the game itself or the token right after you've put your money on the line.
1877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask won't accept password... is it safe to reset it? on: August 09, 2021, 03:33:14 AM
now I am getting the "deeplink not supported" thing on my iphone if you know a fix for that. boy this is frustratng.  I just cleared my cookie and cash setting in security.
Sorry, I think I have given an invalid link. But anyways, here is the correct link for metamask.

I know how to add coins done it way too much but my bnb balance isn't even there and I can't even buy a single coin the coin doesn't even pop up on pancake swap?
Okay. Have you switched your RPC? If you're using BNB, then it is most likely that your BNB can be found on the Binance Smart Chain.

Go to your Account > Settings > Network > Add Networks and input the following information below.

Network Name: Binance Smart Chain
New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
Chain ID: 56
Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer: https://bscscan.com/
1878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask won't accept password... is it safe to reset it? on: August 08, 2021, 10:33:48 AM
Does the problem still exist?

- Are you sure that you have downloaded the legit metamask extension wallet?
- After importing the seed phrase, have you been able to verify if it is the right account that contains your coins? Because most of the time, newbie tends to accidentally create multiple wallet account on a single seed phrase.
- Have you re-added the "contract address" of the coins you owned?

the problems with adding custom tokens is I have hundreds or super cheap crapcoins!!!
The problem with not adding them again after importing your seed phrase is that it will not reflect on your wallet. Go to coingecko, find the token you are holding, copy and paste the contract address.
1879  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need help withdrawing money from coinsutramining(.)com on: August 08, 2021, 09:02:30 AM
There is nothing steady in crypto that will make a consistent positive return within just a few days. Everything that promises a good return in a volatile nature of crypto is a pure scam which is similar to bitconnect fiasco.

If something seems too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.
1880  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to prevent security risks when playing blockchain? on: August 08, 2021, 07:52:22 AM
I would copy the seed phrase by hand in a notebook, and then put the notebook in a safe place. Usually I would copy two copies in case I lost it.
You fail to laminate the paper, at the very least, to protect it. Let's face it, we all know that paper isn't the most durable material available. Paper is readily shredded when it comes into contact with spilt liquids. Another reason is to keep them secure and maintain their look for several years.

Alternatively, if you have the funds, you might want to consider investing in a metal seed plate.
